We are at Avalon Towers for over 4 years and our stay has been absolutely wonderful. We moved to Avalon because of its proximity to our workplace and also because we simply loved our higher floor unit. However, what led us to stay for such a long time is it’s resident services team and maintenance level in the community. I can’t recall any service request which was not fixed within 24-48 hours. Gym and pool area is always maintained and cleaned. Jack Najeeb-Bush, the community manager, is fantastic - he always went out of his way to resolve any concerns we had. Other staff members are equally helpful and supportive. I am glad we chose Avalon.

Yesterday, Joe, the new member of our maintenance team, replaced our dishwasher. The experience was very impressive. Not only was Joe very knowledgeable, experienced and personable, but he was also very conscientious and committed to quality service. It was obvious to me that Joe not only wanted to complete the project as efficiently as possible but also that he cares about the quality of his service...and that he is committed to quality at the highest level. I really enjoyed working with him and look forward to the next time I need his assistance.

Ive been living here for about 9 months, moving in during the pandemic, and my experience with the leasing office has been superb. Jack was the first person I spoke to when I called about leasing a unit, and he has helped me find the right unit, the parking space, the storage unit, and everything else I needed to feel at home. Everyone at the leasing office is always willing to listen to your concerns and they quickly solve any issues you have. They are professional, courteous, and fun to talk to! I highly recommend this apartment.

These are difficult times for Maintenance Teams, Office Personal, Management Staff, everywhere but Avalon Towers on the Peninsula has won our hearts and minds through the diligence and commitment they bring to the residents here everyday. We have been very happy living here at the ATOP apartments and it has everything to do with the courteous, professional, staff that seamlessly work behind the scenes keeping this place working like a well oiled machine.Have to mention Juan who installed the bars, brackets, rails - you know - was so helpful to me. And, the dishwasher, tubing, water pressure, plumbing issue, - I’m sure there are more things you’ve done for us that you know but I can’t think of right now. So thank you! Amazing staff! After living in Birch Creek (hell on earth) I was so eager to find a place to call home. Avalon Towers is the perfect place to live. The apartment was given to us in excellent condition and the staff is ALWAYS friendly and responsive. They are always so caring and willing to help. These apartments are also sound proof! I am so happy we signed here and we are not going anywhere!!! Seriously 5/5 stars!

Can you do something about the south tower elevator? Its humming noise is too loud, especially at night! Anyone interested in units on the south tower, please be AWARE this before you sign the lease!

Jack is super helpful and professional starting from the leasing the apartments. 5 stars for the management.However, this is not a quiet building if you have a loud neighbor. Despite this is a concrete building, you can still hear your upstairs neighbors loud and clear, all through the days, e.g. dropping weights or dragging. This is unexpected to me, because I expected concrete building has a better sound proof between neighbors. That being said, the constant sound is from the ceilings, and it could be not the neighbors but the building. For example, in the late night or early morning, you can hear the sound from upstairs like rolling marbles; after some google search, it seems like this might be from the pipe. In addition, during the daytime, if you want to work peacefully, you need to wear a noise cancelling headphone, to block the noise from upstairs.This is a beautiful community with good management, but if you want a peaceful and quiet home, maybe this is not a good choice.

Echoing what someone else wrote - the side of building that faces the 4 story condo has loud noises from workers blowing dirt from sidewalk, moving garbage, moving furniture, maintenance - sometimes as early as 6am. The other side facing El Camino - well thats a busy noisy street. There are people and kids, yelling and crying -sometimes into late evening,. Good luck trying to sleep.

My negative review was mysteriously deleted so Im reposting it:Absolutely terrible experience. We were really excited to move in here and the process was super easy, from lease signing to actual move in day. Unfortunately, the tenants above us have made this first month absolutely miserable and the management has nothing about it. Our ceiling shakes constantly throughout the day from the running, stomping, jumping, and dropping of large objects. I truly do not think we have experienced more than 5 minutes of silence in this apartment since we moved in over a both ago. We both had to purchase expensive noise cancelling headphones just to be able to work without disruption. I cant believe Im paying so much money to have constant, persistent disruption from above. The tenants stomp, run and shake our ceiling ALL DAY. I emailed management within the first week of moving in and they said they left a voicemail for the tenants. Weve now lived here for over two months and nothing has changed. For anyone thinking of moving in here, please take this as a warning. This is not an exaggeration, Ive lived in college dorms and college student housing and Ive never experienced something like this. If you get tenants above you like we do, your life will be miserable and management will do absolutely nothing for you. I cannot wait to move out of this apartment.Now that I have a chance to update this review I will also add that the situation has not changed. The tenants stomp the floors, bang the walls, scream and keep us late into the night.

Moving in we were not given the information we needed to know the community and its amenities well, so we felt a little unwelcome and lost. But since then Jack had gone out of his way to let us know that they care about our over-all experience and that has made me feel more confident that things are going to be better moving forward. Our apartment per se is lovely and everything I hoped for. The two times I had maintenance issues I found them to be responsive and quick in solving our problems.

Great experience at Avalon Towers. After living here for about 1.5 years, I can think of no real negatives. Very helpful staff, prompt maintenance, and a quiet and peaceful place to live. I highly recommend this apartment community to anyone looking around the Mountain View area.

Ive been living here for about 6 months. Had a pretty rocky move in but Avalon went above and beyond to make things right. Overall ive really enjoyed my time here. My unit is gorgeous and very peaceful overall. When someone moved in above me who had a penchant for repeatedly banging on the hardwood floors through out the day, management was able to resolve the problem once I shared what I was hearing (huge shout out to Trever and Jack). When you need to reach someone in the office it can be challenging at times to know when people will be available and to get a quick response. I imagine that the pandemic is a big influencer there. However, when I am able to connect with someone the staff is always very pleasant and Im able to get the help I need. Maintenance has been stellar as well.

I stumbled upon Avalon Towers on Apartments.com a few weeks ago and decided to tour the community on a whim. My partner and I werent planning to move until Jan, but we fell in love with the community and submitted an application the same day. The leasing process was relatively straightforward and our leasing consultant Claudia was responsive.There was a slight hiccup after we signed the lease and I was pretty upset. Jack, the community manager, spent a good hour speaking with myself and my partner to straighten things out. He went out of his way to remedy the situation and followed up to ensure we were happy.To be honest, we are coming from an apartment where the previous property manager painted over black mold before leasing the apartment so we were wary of dealing with property managers.Happy to say this community is nothing like that. Jack and Claudia has been great in working with us. Really looking forward to our move!Would highly recommend checking out this community.

I had a leaking food processor and a clogged sink in the kitchen on December 31 around 6pm. Service guy came 40 minutes after my call, fixed everything in 15 minutes and explained to me what to do to avoid such problems in the future. I was highly impressed with speed, level of service and friendliness.

Overpriced. They foolishly spent millions on renovation but took away the jacuzzi!! Very noisy...always has noisy cleaning, leave blowing, people moving in and out.

Expensive rent and terrible living experience, bad community management, many things would consistently be in disorder (elevator, trash, garage door, leasing office closed during daytime etc.). I have been renting for almost 10 years since college and this Avalon Towers is no doubt the worst. After moving out, right now I pay half the rent and enjoy a much much much better community and apartment.

BEST move in experience ever! Claudia was amazing from start to finish and made everything so easy for me and my movers. Moving is so tough but Claudia helped when it could have been way more stressful. Cant wait to live here!

After the market dropped so much because of COVID, Jack worked with us to get a great deal on our lease renewal. Its a good thing he did, because we werent looking forward to having to move again. Thanks for taking such good care of us!

Living at Avalon Towers on the Peninsula has been absolute delight. The entire team, from the property manager (Jack) to the super, maintenance and concierge staff, is really amazing. Plus, the units are airy and well lit and pool/lounge area is beautiful.

Honestly, this place just feels like home. I agree with some of the comments discussed below, including the cost of rent and the fact that some of the community can feel a bit transient. But what makes this place special is the exceptional customer service. We have not had one issue that hasnt been immediately resolved within the day. I really appreciate the kindness and thoughtfulness that the staff puts into making sure its residents are happy. Aside from those very crucial points, this place is just incredibly nice. We moved from an NYC Avalon building that was beautiful and brand new. We wanted something similar, and we found it. We are very pleased here and are thankful for the people that keep this place as great as it is.

Weve been at Avalon for five years now, including two unit transfers. The remodel has meant the facilities are great, but the staff here is what sets it apart.Jack, the community manager, has been incredibly helpful throughout our transfers and with any other questions that have come up in our time here. Hes very knowledgeable and is always very quick to get back to you regarding any questions. Hes the best community manager weve worked with, and his care for the community really shows.Outside of the leasing office, Trever, the concierge is always professional, personable, and ready to help. Oscar, in maintenance, is quick to respond and fix any issues that have come up, even on weekends.The apartments are large and well designed, but the staff is why weve been here for five years.

My mom recently moved in here. The building is in great shape, the staff are friendly and the manager Jack is super nice. He was thoughtful enough to ask about sunlight preferences and other details while we were first looking so he could suggest a unit which might suit Mom and it really did!We loved how the move-in process was streamlined via their websites portal. Very good and rapid replies communicating with the comapny over email. Phone calls were answered or returned in a timely fashion.The unit looked brand new when she moved in- especially the stove! We placed 2 small work orders post move-in and the items were fixed within hours. Tons of underground parking, and we love the pool area. For now due to COVID-19 use is by appointmet only, and we look forward to the facilities reopening fully once the pandemic is over.

I just recently signed a lease here and I have to say, the leasing team has been amazing to work with, Stephanie in particular. I was looking to get a lease signed on a tight time schedule so I made an appointment for a tour, checked out some apartments similar to the one that was available in my time frame since I couldnt look at the specific unit I would be renting at the time. All said and done, it was literally about 45 minutes from when I first walked in to when I finished signing the lease and got the approval, and that included the tour. Stephanie and the team have been extremely supportive throughout the process of moving in, finding parking for moving trucks, and accommodating my random needs.

Avalon Towers on the Peninsula has been one the best places we have lived over the last several years. We rented a two bedroom unit which had a great view and the unit was very nicely updated and ready for us to move in. The staff here is top notch - super helpful, friendly and always responsive if anything comes up. Jason in the front leasing office deserves special mention for being courteous and diligent. Jack, who is the leasing manager, is also fantastic with his handling of any situation and friendly demeanor. We recommend this place to anyone who would consider living in the Mountain View/Los Altos area.

Although we didn’t end up leasing from Avalon Towers on the Peninsula, I felt compelled to leave a review just to share how awesome our experience was with Stephanie! From beginning to end she was a pleasure to work with, and although the complex didn’t fit our needs we were so impressed by Stephanie’s candor and friendliness throughout the tour and the entire process!

Avalon Towers is a very nice place to live. I have lived here since 2016. The grounds are kept clean, staff are timely with requests and concerns. Everyone is helpful, friendly and professional. Humberto and his team help keep the place looking great and make sure things run smoothly. Jesus and Trevor are great concierge. Jack, the manager, strives to meet the expectations of the tenants and building a great place for us to call home.

We moved to the Avalon towers a few weeks ago, and so far had a great experience with everyone on the crew! The building is beautiful and has a very elegant/upscale feel. Service requests are completed very quickly and always with a smile by Oscar and Ray. Jesus consistently gives a warm greeting when I get my morning cup of coffee and says hello to my pup. In the evenings Trever is there to greet me after late walks. It was amazing how quickly this felt like home.

Professional and exceptional is how I would describe my experience with them so far. I have had the pleasure of interacting with Ruju. Currently located on the east coast, I was looking for a short term lease in Mountain view. She has been responsive, diligent and kind. Going above and beyond. This is much appreciated! I cannot write about the experience of living there, but I can only imagine that this level of service must be a trend in this management team.

I want to call out kudos to Jason at the front desk of the leasing office. He is always on top of his game— very responsive, always follows up, easy to deal with.... this is a person who really understand s the concept of customer (in this case tenant) service, and how to create a really consistently terrific customer experience. The best managed rental property I have ever lived in. The staff led by Suzanne - the front doorman and manager Trever and the building management staff including Jesus are awesome. Loads of smiles + loads of help whenever we have asked for it and just an overall sense of support that you wont find in most places.The pool and the outside area is 5 star and the support for dogs here is incredible as well.Highly recommended.

Amazing apartment complex! The apartments are super modern and beautiful and it is a great location that is super close to grocery stores as well as supermarkets. The staff are also great and are super nice and helpful.

I would like to recognize Jack N.for his outstanding service. A number of residents were impacted by actions of another resident for a number of months. The situation involved health, safety, noise, and numerous items that each resident agrees to when signing the contract to live at Avalon properties. The resident ended up moving which was a good thing for everyone including Avalon. I have noticed former Avalon residents of the past have complained about their experiences here from their point of view. But just because there is a negative review about Avalon doesnt mean that its a valid review. Our family enjoys living at our Avalon property. One major reason is that, Jack the community manager provided me with timely follow up meetings on the situation where he personally visited and followed up with phone calls or left messages on numerous occasions. Now that is what I call fantastic customer service! I can go to work and do other things rather than worry about is going on at home. What I learned from this situation is the following: If you have a problem, speak up about it and consider talking to Jack. Jack is in a management because he deeply cares about his clients and knows how to provide value to Avalon. He knows that if a people dont talk about a problem it wont get solved and people will engage in negative feelings without giving him a chance to resolve it.

From the time we moved in to the present (weve lived here for about a year) they have gone out of their way to help us get settled and fix any issues weve had in a timely manner. I have lived at Avalon for over 10 years, I have been extremely pleased with my community and particularly the Maintenance Team who have been very supportive of my needs. I especially want to mention Oscar and Umberto have been rocks of this community. This week I accidentally dropped a precious pearl (jewelry ) and it went down the drain in the bathroom sink, Oscar very promptly and efficiently retrieved it to my reliefFew months ago i accidentally dropped my car keys with apt keys and remote down the garbage chute as i was rushing out to work and threw the garbage on the way out, Umberto saved the day ! He managed to retrieve it before the trash got compacted !!! wonderful team !

We moved into the Avalon towers last week. It’s such a lovely and easy lifestyle. Close to everything .The team here were very nice and accommodating, giving us advice and very helpful.We have a 17 month old and she loves playing in the pool. Other residents are very welcoming. The apartment is well appointed and comfortable and the pool and bbq area is like a hotel.We really like this place! Highly recommend. It’s not cheap but then what is around here?

Suzanne, Andrew, Oscar, Humberto, and Trevor do a great job at Avalon Towers on the Peninsula. They are super friendly, helpful and their response to issues and concerns are prompt and done well. Avalon Tower is clean, well-kept and runs like clockwork even during renovations. After the most recent renovations the place looks even more amazing. Good job!

What makes Avalon Towers in Mountain View a nice place is the staff. They are really helpful, friendly and courteous, especially Jack, Humberto, Stephanie, Ray, Jesus, Trevor, Alex, and Juan. They strive to make it a clean and pleasant environment for dogs and people.

I have lived there for over two years. One of the better looking apartment complexes in the area, a visit will convince you it is a nice place to live. What is more difficult to see on a visit is the boldness of the owners. Complete renovations while you are living inside? Yes, you are made to pack everything, move into a neighboring apartment and move back in after renovations, while paying FULL rent! Construction is a never ending process, be ready for power, elevator, water interruptions, not to mention dust and noise (delay having napping children until after youve lived here). The improvements from construction are very small, just enough in their eyes to justify massive rent increases. What will you be asked to put up with while living there, without complaining or hitting their bottom line? Rent to find out. Yearly rent increases in the double digits certainly add up. Be aware, there are now many more good options in the surroundings.

My family and I moved into the towers a few weeks ago. This was an unexpected move that none of us were excited about. However, Leslie and her concierge team have made this an easy transition. Hassan has been so incredibly helpful and welcoming to not only to myself but my three young daughters. He went out of his way to help us during the move as well as the daily chaos of our lives with three children. He has helped me with packages, brought a spare key to my door when he knew I was waiting, and his genuine friendly nature make him a delight. The building is clean and well kept. I would definitely recommend this location.

If you work in Palo Alto or Mountain View, easily the best place to be. I still havent found a more attractive living arrangement after 3 1/2 years in this area. Maintenance is top notch and super responsive. Front office is friendly and reasonable. Trever, our evening concierge, is hands down the nicest, most considerate, and indispensable individuals Ive ever met in any apartment Ive lived - one of best hidden perks of this community.

No complaints while living here. The building is newly renovated, has excellent amenities and features large units. Jack from management is very friendly and always courteous. Maintenance is excellent, they always respond promptly. I wanted to say thanks to the following maintenance staff including Humberto, Oscar, Jorge and Ray.

We have lived here at Avalon Towers since May 2017. Initially the main reason we chose Avalon was their acceptance of dogs. We have two registered service dogs and are critical to our decision making.We currently live in a 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment on the ninth floor with incomparable views. This certainly is a plus.Being comfortable here and wanting to extend our stay for the foreseeable future is, in great part, due to the professionalism and attention to detail of the current manager Jack Brush, Suzanne Le before him, Jason, Trevor and Jesus.Also we do not to forget the mainrenance crews. This complex is always maintained meticulously.Were pleased for the opportunity to express our opinion.

Pets are welcome, apartments are amazing. There are many amenities such as fireplaces, a pool, barbecues, outdoor television, and a ping pong table. Very nice and secured community. There are 1, 2, and 3 bedroom apartments.

Supporting service facilities are very good, convenient location, very friendly staff, security, clean grounds, excellent environment, amiable neighbors, nice apartments.. I feel very satisfied with overall. Theres an entire San Antonio Shopping Center, and Whole Foods, Target, which are only a few blocks away. The pool with fabulous lighting in the evening and professional BBQ for the residents. The free coffee is also a definite plus! Ive really enjoyed my stay at Avalon Towers, its is a great option. I feel like it was worth the price.

I have just renewed my annual contract. The leasing office and concierges are really friendly. The maintenance teams work is swift and perfect. I am totally satisfied with this apartment and strongly recommend the life here to all.

Have lived here since Jan 2017. The people at the concierge desk and leasing office, especially Andrew H, have been beyond nice and accommodating of any requests. They have gone above and beyond in their efforts, towards helping with anything I have requested so far.It is a pretty nice building to live in, really helpful staff and all the neighbors I have met so far have been quite nice.

Great community, clean and friendly staff. We moved here 3 months ago and we have no complains so far. Newly renovated apartments, walking distance to WholeFoods, Trader Joe’s, Safeway, and good restaurants. Close to El Camino Real and a few min drive from any major highway.

Staff is really great! I had a medical situation which I needed to have an appliance fixed. Ray, Oscar and Humberto worked to have it exchanged quickly. That was key for the cares on my post surgery treatment.

Company rented a 2 room apartment, very nicely designed and built.Location is good as Grocery stores and restaurants are within walking distance if you do not drive. Just walk along the main road and youll see Safeway.

After move out, avalon system charge a lot without explanation, also send email to ask for charging details, no response at all. They just care about which customer want move in and charge clean fee, and full utility or maintain fee for only two days in last month even in our lease.When I live in avalon tower, I lost all my package price over $200 and their leasing office just saying they do not watch for package and do not sign package. But do see lots of time package just leave on their leasing office desk without guard. Worst place I have seen. Not suggest any other people choose this apartment

The quality of their work has drastically declined this year.They also lack the knowledge to handle many maintenance issues even as simple as fixing issues related to toilet leaks, water pressure and even fixing a washer.Even when were given a time frame of when work will be done, no one shows up and were left waiting for hours.Also, when reporting emergency situations to them at night time that could affect the whole complex, they dont want to show up to check to see if the problems require immediate attention even when it is something that could be related to an electrical issue.Also, sometime when trying to explain things to them, theyre resistant to listening to concerns, which in some cases, may require timely attention.

The most helpful team.I would give a 10 but 5 is the highest.

We lived next to the Avalon for years. We moved in after they upgraded the units and the pool area. We love the amenities, especially the outdoor area. We live on the 10th floor and appreciate the view. The location couldnt be better: near a Target, Whole Foods, Walmart, Safeway, Trader Joes, restaurants, and small businesses. The staff is what make the Avalon Towers worth the extra expense. They are all friendly, helpful, proactive, and kind. Jack, the manager, takes good care of us and his employees. Trevor and Jesus, the concierges, really go above and beyond to make my stay pleasant and easy. Jason is our beloved leasing agent who is possibly the friendliest and most efficient person Ive ever encountered. Hes located in the lobby and my family is social. They have people skills, so they know who is shy and prefers minimal interaction. ;) The maintenance guys are all wonderful and work hard to keep the building in top shape. I highly recommend this place. The gym is small, but efficient and they have netflix and other streaming apps. Our daughter attends Almond Elementary School in Los Altos and we couldnt be more pleased with their staff as well.

Moved in here with my husband November 2016, no complaints at all. Absolutely love living here. Maintenance responds same day usually or first thing next morning. Staff is sweet and friendly.

I must applaud OSCAR AND BETO from maintenance who have gone above and beyond to help me during the many issues encountered due to the renovation of the building.Marisol at the front desk is a joy and her professionalism deserves recognition! She always has a smile on her face and has helped many times with packages that were lost! Elizabeth is also great and will carry heavy packages and bring them to my door with a kind word!Trevor is also part of the front desk team but does the night shift and is very helpful. This team is the main reason I have stayed at Avalon. They welcome me like family and truly care. Avalon Towers would not be the same without these 5 people!!!! THE STARS GO TO THEM! Where should I start… This place is truly the best place to live in the Bay area. These are some of the reasons why I chose Avalon Towers on the Peninsula [ATOP]: Heart felt customer service/Location/Gated community. The customer service you will receive here is top notch. Leasing management team [Jack/Jason], Maintenance management team [Beto/Oscar/Ray] and Concierge Team [Trevor/Jesus], they understand what it means to exemplify servant leadership. When you chose to live here, you are a part of Avalon family, no doubt! Beto, Oscar and Ray will make sure your stay here is pleasant and comfortable from maintenance perspective [ie. no broken toilet etc]. Any other issues related to ATOP you might have or you just want to see how things are going, Jason and Jack will make time for you at the leasing office. Trevor and Jesus, you can always count on them. Thanks to the best team, I can say ‘home sweet home’ here.

Just moved in, Andrew the community coordinator is da bomb! Super helpful, beautiful place, much more sturdy than most California apartments (I moved from NY where newer buildings are rock solid because of the weather). I dont even have a car, and this place is literally a block or two away from Target, Whole Foods, Trader Joes, Wal-Mart etc. Really sealed the deal for me!

Run away...Run away faster!Pros:- great location- good view if you get some higher floor unit.Cons:- management has lots of turnover, cannot trust at all.- bugs and crocks all over the trash area.- big construction at residents cost.- random people knock at the door during the night! so scary!- very pricy compared to other newly built complex. If you have the same budget, check out Carmel, Montrose, 100 moffet, Verve etc...

There is safety and comfortable environment! Also there is great office staffs!

Modern style appartments. A lot of light. Fresh air. Noiseless air conditioning. Beautiful swimming pool area with music and free WiFi. Secured parking. Great location. 10 star school. Appartments I enjoy more than others. Great for work from home ( I especially like pool area ) Everithing is new! Designers did a great job!

The sewer in our bathroom got blocked yesterday. My wife called for service in the morning and the problem got solved very soon. Very nice!

According to the resident, the staff was excellent, just to name a few... Traver, Andrew Beto etc. are very friendly and speedy, overall its the only high-rise apartment in this local community.- The only apartment thats high-rise- the only apartment that has a gigantic 3 level underground parking with unlimited parking space of your choice- Sound proof resistance is excellent! Due to this property is steel-concrete construction high-rise. Unlike others, wooden frame base foundation.- Overall biggest and wider one bedroom apartment, larger than Domus, Carmel the Village etc.The price is high, but youre paying for luxury... not so much as the quality...- The newly remodeled kitchen and flooring are not as durable as the previous one (gosh its peeling already!)- Laminated wood-like flooring is already peeling.- Harden glue during construction left unattended and its now staining the floor and countertop.As Ive obtained from one of our sources. the resident have documented this and sent to the person-in-charge, also letting them know there isnt really anything they can do as its already been installed and such tenant is planning to move into another apartment within this tower so dont bother to fix it, the staff can submit a repair request after she moved out so they can take their time to really re-touching up and re-finish whats left behind.As I can see they try hard to address the residents suggestion of cleaning up the trash more often, this still needs to be improved due on the 2nd and 3rd level of underground parking, before, the trash would overflow with juices that leaks out and spill over the trash bin! Eww! And the smell of the odors coming and stay for days.So far, as I can see, after 11 years they still have not taken care the flies that circling around the entry to the garage and front entry, be prepared to have someone else than the staff greeting you and welcomes you home! :) with those little thing flying around the front door, especially during summer times.One thing that we will miss is the spa, they took it away after 15 years during renovation, very bad decision, as the corporate claim its for safety reason and health hazard, but telling the truth its the cost of maintaining it, some newly build apartment complex not just having one, but two spas! But thinking about how much you are going to pay for rent, they cant afford to maintain a spa after 15 years? Come on...Now seeing the newly renovated property, there will be more maintenance needed as the material of the hardware and furniture around the pool, especially after several days of rains, the glass wall panel wont be this clean, the outdoor sofa, pillow will be dirty and after a year will need to be changed out due to stains and discoloration, (as the tenant have the exact same outdoor furniture in their newly purchased single-family home in Mountain View for rental purpose), so the tenant know its an on-going effort for them as well...Honestly, the renovation is over-budgeted and cost way too much to this community, and we, the residents are going to pay the heavy price with the rent increase.

I love this place. We moved hear in October 2015 after having to break our lease at our previous apartment due to ongoing issues with a neighbor that the office would not help us resolve. Since moving here, we have not had any issues with other residents. Everyone is friendly and wonderful. The staff are amazing and very helpful. We had issues with someone smoking in the building when we moved in, which is not allowed here, and the staff did everything possible and resolved the issue. Anytime something is broken or needs fixing, maintenance is very responsive. We did have to move to a different unit in the building because of renovations they are doing, and thathe is why I give it 4 stars instead of 5. There is a lot of noise during the day if you have to work from home, and the construction workers use the elevators so it takes a long time to get to and from the apartment sometimes (we live on the 10th floor otherwise Id take the stairs). The only othet negative is the cost to live here, which is absolutely absurd. Other than that, its perfect. The views, the apartments, the gym, the pool, the parking is all awesome. It is walking distance from shopping and restaurants galore and you can walk to Castro St. as well. Caltrain is a quick walk to get to which makes it super easy to get to SF. We almost never drive bc of how great the location is. There are also electric vehicle chargers in the garage, and there is always one open when I have needed it. I highly recommended Avalon Towers if you can afford the rent. It is such a great place!

Awesome location in Mountain View, beautiful view from our balcony and services that make life easy...pool, fitness center, package concierge, parking and easy online access for paying rent, reviewing lease and submitting maintenance requests. Professional and courteous staff with Susanne, Andrew, Marisol and Trevor in the office and Beto, Oscar and Jesus maintaining this beautifully renovated property. Apartments, corridors, lobbies, exterior landscaping and pool area have been updated to create a stylish comfortable atmosphere. The lobbies are luxurious and the pool and patio, boasting of all new tile on pool/ pool deck, fire pits, 3 bbq grills, outdoor tv and lounge areas rivals a resort setting. If you have a maintenance request or inquiry its easy as logging in to Avalon Acess. While we are only on the 9th floor our Avalon Towers On The Peninsula apartment it is pretty darn close to heaven!Fast forward to 2020 and the disruption of a public health and economic crisis. Seems each day brings new challenges and disruptions. The team at Avalon Towers has been diligent about maintaining a sense of a normal environment. The pool was open with restrictions but residents were able to enjoy, considering the restrictions the pool looked inviting. The grounds and landscaping are lush and well maintained creating a comfortable welcoming environment. Local county health department requirements are established with social distancing in place, hand sanitizers available and face mask signage posted. The efforts of keeping a well maintained complex and compliance with health department requirements took great effort. The efforts of the Avalon team made life easier during a difficult time.

I will start with the cons by saying this place is definitely on the pricey side!!!The apartments need hardwood floors please! And mAybe some better fridges for the price I paid. And watch out for your renewal price increase, yikes....Now the pros. Of course I saved the best for last. And that would the amazing staff here at avalon towers. Ill start with the lAdies in the front office. Ashely and Bianca. They always answered any auestions promptly and if didnt have the answer would find out and get back to me asap. They were always professional and welcoming! Also the front dest workers Trevor and Elizabth were always there with a smile and a friendly hello And were willing to above and beyond to be helpful. Also everyone else that works there are also amazing! These people are what made this place feel like home to me and why i gave it 5 stars!!!
