Ive used Fix It Forward for 2 different vehicles with both general repairs and major repairs. I appreciate their honesty and how upfront they are. They can be a little higher cost but I was happy with the quality of their work and their kindness and helpfulness. They arent condescending when explaining things or answering questions. The communication on the progress of my repairs was very good. They completed the major repair ahead of the timeline. Very happy with the service.

I heard great things about them from several friends and I was not disappointed. They were very friendly, honest and professional. My truck had two leaks and needed a new tailpipe. They gave me an estimate with options and told me what was most urgent to fix and even provided a resource for financing if I needed it. They even brought me back to look at the leaks under my truck so I could see just how bad they were. They told me what they expected with a time frame and they followed up during the process so that I could pay my bill online and pick my truck up after hours since I had to work during their business hours. My truck was done on time and its great! They also have loaner vehicles if you need one while yours is being worked on. I highly recommend them!

This is a nice place and they definitely get the job done right! And I appreciate them! But the only thing is the price ranges! They cost an arm and a leg for their hourly rate and there was no loner cars! Also my car was ready in the AM and they didn’t even call to tell me it was ready! I missed a whole day and a half of work waiting for them to call and they forgot to call to tell me my car was done hours before!! It’s a good place if you are willing to spend hundreds to a grand or more! I do admit they get it done right so I truly do appreciate it! Just a little spendy! Thank you guys!

I was quoted double of the replacement of a water pump, parts and labor...just had my oil changed 2 weeks prior and was told I needed a oil change. Was told I had a crack in my windshield that was obvious but they missed I only had 4 lug nuts instead of 5 because the stud was broken. I was disappointed in this place after I was highly recommended. Do yourselves a favor and look around at other auto repair places. Will not return here. Quoted 572.67 for water pump parts and labor and got it done for 257.43.. you do the math🤗

I got an oil change from Fix It Forward. Very professional and great service.. That same day I hear a rattling noise under my vehicle. I received a text from them asking how the service was and if anything is needed. I replied and told them about my rattling noise. They got me in the next day. I was showed where it was coming from. It was aside from the oil change but here they went an extra mile to help me out and secure the loose part to stop the noise. Hands down best place ever. They didnt even charge me anything. Talk about great service and great people in this world.THANK YOU SO MUCH EVERYONE AT FIX IT FORWARD.

These guys made my month! I called one day, they got my car in the next day, diagnosed it and repaired it all that day. I got an educators discount and so far, so good....my car floats after the struts were replaced. I have found my forever mechanic.

It was terrible… they said there was a bunch of stuff wrong n told me to start looking for a new vehicle cuz the repairs were going to be around 5000 dollars!! They listed a whole bunch of things that indeed were not a bother.Jokes on them tho. I dropped off my vehicle n took a picture of the motor before leaving it. They insisted there was a severe power steering fluid problem… ummmm no they had splashed used oil on the belts n had it spray everywhere tho!I refused all the repairs they told me made my vehicle dangerous to drive on the road… n immediately took it to my normal shop 45 minutes away! They got me in n said yes I have slight play in the trirod… n a wheel bearing going out n told me it would be about 350 parts n labor to fix but it definitely doesn’t need to be fixed right this minute! It can wait a few months!Said they looked over the engine n there was absolutely no leaks n reminded me that it was just in the end of March for repair10/10 would never recommend

They were fast, professional, and thorough. Discovered a few minor issues with brakes and shocks which I appreciated.

Were new to the F-M area and have been looking for a reliable mechanic to fix an oil leak. We took our car to two other places before landing here at Fix It Forward. I learned that they use a UV light detection method for discovering exactly where the engine leak is coming from, instead of just guess work, like the other places. They will also walk you out to their shop and show you what exactly is wrong with your car so you dont have to take their word for it. Thanks to this, I can feel confident that the diagnosis is correct. Our Honda is older (2004, ~137k miles) and right at that age in which things are going out on it. Weve given them a lot of business because we trust them and they simply do a great job. I value their ministry and non-profit work that they do, and it really helps that they give a 3-year, 30k mile warranty on all the work. Plus, theyll loan you a car for free for as long as they are woking on your car. I wont ever take my vehicles anywhere else.

Fix it forward has been great. They picked up our car, services it, and then gave recommendations for other work that needed to get done. All told, it was a great experience and I really appreciated the Covid precautions that they took.

I had work done on a 20 year old car that my daughter drives. Fix It Forward went through all the recommended repairs and worked with us on what needed to be done right away and what could wait till another time. I had an 11 o’clock appointment and the tech already had the car in the shop at 11. The techs are very careful about inspections. They make sure the customer is aware of issues without unnecessary pressure. They even adjusted tire pressure to proper psi. We had tires installed at a different business and not two tires had the same pressure. They do now Thanks Fix-It-Forward!

I would not recommend this place to anyone to fix there car because I went there my first time to fix a tire and they told me I need to change brake caliper which was obviously falls. They also drained the brake fluid to low so that i fix it to make money out of me. After I added brake fluid. The fluid was not leaking and problem is gone.

The battery on our pickup would not hold a charge because of a short in one of the circuits. The tech at FixitForward found the circuit breaker that malfunctioned and took it out, because it was not one we used.

I have taken my vehicle to Fix It Forward Auto Care several times for both regular maintenance and repairs. I am always impressed with the level of service that I receive. They do not try to hassle or pressure me into taking on unnecessary maintenance, but they are always honest and up front about any issues that arise. They are timely and affordable, and I love that their proceeds go to benefit ministry that helps so many. Their waiting room is clean and comfortable, and the shop dog is very friendly :)

Asked if they would give me an estimate to repair part. Obviously if more needed to be replaced then that’s on me. They would not give an estimate, not even on the part I was asking about. All they would say is that labor is $108/hour and “I can’t help you”. I’m not gonna give them my vehicle, have them play Russian roulette on how much money they wanna make that day and then hold my car until payment...Professionalism and customer service is clearly not a standard at this place.EDIT: Owner called and apologized for his employees handling of the call. Apparently the employee was having an off day and didn’t provide the correct response he should have. I get it. They are working on a part quote as we speak. Manager said they do offer a free 15 minute diagnostic. So I’m probably going to take it in and get it checked out. Bumped from 1 star to 3. Thank you for the call.

I recently started going to Fix It Forward because I liked the ministry that was attached but I am now a loyal customer because of the personable staff who are so accomodating & helpful when I have an issue! Their pricing is fair and they are FAST!

On my most recent visit it took a little longer than estimated, but not the mechanics fault, my Chevrolet had all original parts and they didnt want to come apart easily. They worked hard to make sure my brakes and all the parts involved with the braking system worked properly and safely. They also fixed a noise my husband and I have been hearing for months, that was apparently caused by a plate rubbing against the tire. We are extremely pleased with the work of their mechanics and are constantly recommending Fix it Forward Auto care as they have friendly knowledgeable service and we will continue having our vehicle maintenance done by them.

I went in with my car they said there was ab oil it 20 things wrong and when I get my car back we find there is only 3 things that are actually wrong not 20 then i find out that they took my speaker from my car never again will j go back there

Fix it forward is awesome! They checked over and fixed major issues in my car for a very reasonable price and in a reasonable time limit. They took the time to explain exactly whats wrong with my vehicle, what needed to be fixed immediately and what was a minor issue that could be fixed later. They were very transparent about breaking a cover under the hood and not only did they fix their mistake quickly and for free, they also discounted my overall price for the inconvenience of being without my car for one extra day. Well Im from a small town outside of bustling Morris MN (pop. 5,000 I mean 2 stop lights really big town you know) I find it very fustrating the way most mechanics in this area do business. Ive been looking for a long time for a place that gives me a square deal and tells me upfront what is going on for free and does nothing without my approval. Very cool people pickup runs great now I will be back for all my oil changes great prices on that too by the way.
