These reviews don’t do this place justice. They are the first and only shop I’ve ever been confident to recommend friends or family to go to. I even gave them a task that would have been easy for them to milk for extra labor. I was nervous and expecting to possibly argue about the value even though I felt I could trust them. They UNDERCHARGED me in my honest opinion. I was stunningly impressed.Mechanic job is tough when it comes to trying to be fair, not screw yourself or the customer, but also to give honest opinions on what can be done or what can maybe safely go without doing without putting the customers safety at risk. 90% of people will never understand this.Brady’s is the most HONEST dealings I’ve EVER HAD with a shop and I will send any work their way I don’t have time to do for friends and family.
I needed a hub replaced. Its hard as a single woman to find a good, knowledgeable mechanic with integrity. They were fast and efficient. They also did a great check on the rest of my vehicle which I wasnt expecting! Awesome job guys! Special thanks to Nick! You rock!
After reading some negative reviews, I thought this would be helpful to new customers. I am writing this review before my car is completed at Bradys Service Center. First off, I asked for for an estimate on the services that needs to be done. They came back higher than what I thought. I politely told them this. Nick was trying to find parts for this older 1986 Pontiac Fiero. He came back with a closer estimate what I was thinking it should be around. During this whole process, both Nick and Brady have communicated with us. Giving advice and even helping to find the best solutions for us. He suggested using another body shop in Moorhead that he felt was better to take my car to. They have had our car for over a week. (A summer collector car). They both told us that the car will be done after they test drive it. Two times now there was issues that they felt wasnt safe for my wife to drive it. They kept it and still working on solving the issue. They easily could of said it was completed and had me pick up the car. They DID NOT do this. They want to finish it right the first time. During this process the communication has been excellent and even at times funny exchanges were made. When it came to the car, Brady would say, In all seriousness now. He was able to separate the two conversation aspects of the situation. I will do an honest Follow Up Review, Feed back once my car is totally completed. At this time. I would not hesitate in using Bradys Service Center. I believe this is our third time working with them. I give them a A+ of excellent service. Thank you, Mark

Brady’s is a wonderful place to shop and or have service done to your vehicle. I personally didn’t have the greatest experience however the work that was performed was excellent. Brady tried and tried but to no avail could he fix the main problem (he doesn’t work on diesels and he agreed to work on mine which he didn’t have to)which is not a big deal the vehicle got scrapped because the cost to fix was greater than it was worth so I didn’t want to continue to have service done to it. This place is awesome so are all of the employees always nice, friendly, professional and I recommend you giving them your business! My experience I had was one of those special instances where I’m not going to leave a bad review because of my bad experience (which wasn’t really that bad); I am not going to go into details about the situation as it is complicated to view and understand from a outside perspective. No matter the instance Brady is always willing to help even if it means giving you a tow at 10pm: you really should consider giving them your business as it’s worth every penny, just because of what the 1 star reviews say don’t listen it’s not true, they are upset and trying to take them down because they aren’t happy with the truth
Overcharge and price gouge. I was charged 76 dollars for 7.5 quarts of oil! Not to mention 4 dollars for a half gallon of washer fluid. In total my bill was 114 dollars for an oil change. I mean REALLY!

Always have a good experience when I bring my cars to them. :) They dont talk down to me since Im a women, Ive had that issue with other mechanics at different places.

I am out over $3000 at this shop and still have the same issues. I actually met with the person I was going to buy the car from and pay them to inspect the car before purchasing it. Over $1700 for a timing belt, over $600 to replace my spark plugs and, not to mention they tried to charge me for the freight for a catalytic converter they said I needed. when I found out from another mechanic due to an accident and codes being ran that I did not need it and told them to send it back and they still told me to pay it or not bring my car back. Im sure this will be followed up, like the other complaints, with a detailed response from Brady with all of his excuses and cover-up. I thought I could trust the shop without doing much research. Believe me stay away and dont become a victim like I did. You will regret it.

They told my Aunt that she needed expensive repairs. When I showed up the short guy who is the owner tried to fast talk and make it seem like a suggestion. Over priced and scammers! If you are not educated in auto repair do not go alone. My aunt is elderly and on a fixed income. I would give 0 or - negative stars if possible.

Able to quickly diagnose and service your vehicle for rapid turnaround regardless of vehicle make. I have brought cars ranging from Pontiac to Volkswagen in for repair here and they are able to correctly service the vehicle as well as use quality OEM or better spec parts.

Was having a pretty rough time waiting for a tow until Brady arrived to save the day. Brady was so kind and helpful in getting my vehicle to the shop. I’m so thankful for him. He took great care of us. He even went out of his way to get us to our other vehicle.
BEWARE: Incredibly expensive and they are price gougers. I took my car there to get a service engine light read and asked for an estimate on the replacement. They gave me an estimate of over $500 for repairs. A separate mechanic in Moorhead said they would do the same repair for only $200. So I picked up my car and decided not to do work with them. But they still stuck me with a $115 bill just for running the computer test codes, which OReillys and most other mechanics do for free. Then an additional $60 for simply checking my spark plugs and coils. Ridiculous! I am a college student who trusted them for work in the past since they advertised being trustworthy mechanics. I will never do business with Bradys service center again and I suggest that no else does either. Very dissapointed!P.S. I wouldve given them zero stars if I couldve.

This is the only place we will take our 66 Chevelle for service of any kind. We have always been treated with respect and fairness. The store is clean and employees are kind.
I visit Brady’s a few times a week and have been doing so for years. Every time I go there I am greeted by a friendly face. The store is always clean, and the service is great. I have never had any problems with a repair or the service department at all. Brady and his staff have been nothing but fair and have helped me with all my needs.One person claimed they support small business and then turned around and complained about the price of water/milk. Do you know how big businesses like Walmart can sell stuff cheaper than its competitors? They get better deals. Why? Because they do a ton of business with its suppliers and buy large quantities, therefore, they get discounts. Apply this to a gas station like Holiday, which has like 600 stations, and it’s easier to see why they can sell their milk cheaper. So if you as a small business buy each gallon of milk at say $2.79 a gallon and mark it up 50% while holiday pays $2.00 a gallon and marks it up the same 50%, it’s easy to see why there’s a big difference in price. Small businesses still have to profit and still have bills to pay. If you think it’s as simple as just paying rent and utilities you’re dead wrong. Try running a small business before you spout off about prices.It’s so easy to tarnish businesses today and anyone can do it with a click of the mouse, and it’s sad. Read other reviews submitted by the people who gave one star and most of them have posted nothing but negative remarks on every review. To me that just says they like to complain.Like I said, I have always been greeted by a friendly face and have been treated right. I haven’t had a bad experience yet and that’s why I continue to support them.

Several years ago, our motorhome broke down. While Bradys Service Center doesnt typically work on RVs, he was more than happy to send a tow truck and then work to fix the problem and get us back on the road. I wouldnt hesitate to call him again!

I enjoyed the variety of items I could select from.
My husband brought a tire in that he could feel the air leaking out of. Told the guy in the shop. Waited for him to repair it. The guy came back and said that he replaced a valve stem. My husband repeated himself saying no i am pretty sure it has a hole I could feel it and it was a fast leak i drove it earlier and now its flat. The mechanic told him he was wrong. My husband left and within the hour it was flat. He called and service was closed. Went back today with the tire and explained that the tire was not fixed it did have a hole in it and that it needed to be fixed. The guy fought with my husband and even answered a phone call while talking to my husband. He called my husband a liar and said he could of left and got a nail in it. My husband had to talk to Brady because this is not great customer service. These people will rip you off and care nothing about customer service or how their employees treat customers. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

I am the discourteous owner, Brady. Other than some employee issues everyone is having these days among other issues like taxation, rising costs, liability issues, Credit card fees, licensing fees, Workmans Comp, Unemployment ins, Business insurance, heats, lights, electricity. On top of that loan payments & Interest. I started in 1993, with a good partner who helped me get started when I was 28 years old, and have been working on making my business the best it can be for the last 25+ years. My Dad who became my partner when we bought this second location along with my family skipped many years of vacations. I built with a little help from a good friend, the inner structure of the store, and much of the outer concrete was done to save money so we could do some of the cutting edge materials and finishings. To the Gal that reviewed us, I am sorry that you are possibly not an owner of a small business, and may not have any understanding of what I just said, but there are 100s of us small business owners that know what it is like. We, I should say my Wife trys to hire the best employees possible for what we can afford to pay them. I have had new lights to put in place of the bad ones for 4 months but have been short on employees and time to get them installed. The last 5 years we have upgraded almost all of the high powered lights to LEDs with more to come as money allows. We are not Holiday(Supervalu)/Caseys with 1000s of stores so our buying power obviously pales by comparison, which is why we have to price some of our stuff high enough to cover the bills. The car wash from the day it was installed twice, cost about 160,000.00 + soap, electricity, water and people wanting their money back because it didnt clean their car as good as Dons or some other new wash. It has needed some maintinence and repairs so we shut it down for the last 3 months(because of my shortage of time). i also find it hard to believe that you were just there to get a wash, and maybe you were talking of another time before. Im also not sure how you can say we false advertise it, plain and simple its a touch free wash that uses soap to remove the dirt and grime and it can only do what throwing soap on it can do, and the price has never changed in 21 years. We provide a bucket of cleaner and a brush at the entrance when weather allows for prescrubing of any baked on dirt and bugs so you can have a really clean car for the price and a little diligence. What i have just described to you actually just scratches the surface of the trials and tribulations we have faced, of running a company in a ultra competitive market, look around there is almost none of us single owned c-stores left. My good customers come to us because we really do care about them and they actually know us. They tell us everyday how happy they are to see us still here fighting for survival. We take care of their vehicles, give them advice on how to keep them running right which, saves them money. We are also the only Moorhead business that follows Minnesotas minimum mark up law which states a minimum amount you can sell fuel at, all because the employees of the state wont prosecute the offenders. So if you see our price above the competition you will know when the rest are selling against the law. Its also funny that if we didnt follow the minimum mark up on cigarettes, or we went across state line and bought cigarettes to sell here to be competitive with North Dakota we probably would be prosecuted to the fullest extent. Again I can understand most people only know what they know, and now you should know more than you did when you reviewed us. I really did try to find you before I did this review and we used to be able to respond to reviews but the other side of the story seems to have been taken away, so hopefully you are not embarrassed by this review. I seriously could fill a book with the amount of stuff we have had to fight through to get to this point. Like everyone else you have a choice to do business with us or not. Very Sincerely Brady
I normally dont ever write reviews but after coming to this place on serveal occasion Iam astound to see this place is still running with such discourteous employees and owners. Iam all for supporting small bussiness but in order to keep a bussiness you expect certain things like having better lighgting, more attentive employees and general cleanliness etc. Let me not the forget the over priced merchandised and how i asked an employee why everything was so overpriced such as a galon of milk cost 6 bucks and a case of water 7-8 bucks and the employee stated i kid you not your paying for convience. The carwash is so outdated and disgusting and it is so shocking to see how they false advertise it, i paid for a platinum car wash thinking my car would be clean and shiny but my car would not go in, I had to call the store to get assisted and all they said was drive up front all we can do now is give you another code or come back in the morning to get your refund. I will never be coming back here not worth spending your money!!!!!
Bradys Service Center has always gotten my vehicle repairs done quickly. He is keen on preventative maintenance and forseeing potential issues that may need to be addressed.
It is true the car wash hair does not work. Oh and the car wash charge you a dollar more when you purchase with a fill. I thought you were supposed to get a dollar discount? Oh and the Platinum states its double wash thats a lie and it doesnt do the under body wash like it states. The bad thing is what I told the girl who work out the counter about this she didnt care and I told her I was going to write a review and she said fine go for it. I think its a shame that theyre ripping people off
Dissatisfied took my vehicle in for service they misdiagnosed my vehicle they wont honor there work was very unhappy had to take my car to a smaller shop for proper work thanks for nothing.
Horrible pulled in and put gas in mymotorcycle and ended up having to pay for somebody elses gas cuz the machine didnt reset. Talked to the owner and he was nothing but rude . Crooked
DONT get your Car Washed here. Paid for the Platinum Wash. Car wash is old and outdated and you dont know that till you get inside. didnt even come close to washing my car clean. went back to get my money back and they said NO. the Clerk points to the no refund policy on car wash but didnt bother to point it out at the time of purchase. Customer is RIGHT and money should be returned, if you dont do the job for a service like this.

WARNING WARNING HORRIBLE SHOP I went In to put 3 tires on and they didnt put them on the bald tires they just put 2 on the vehicle and charged me for 3 when i asked about it the mechanic tried to get physical and Brady the owner didnt bat an eyelash and still charged me full price for work that wasnt done total rip off
