Brought my truck in for some suspension work and ended up needing almost all of the front suspension replaced. Anthony, Randy and his staff did a stellar job of repairing my truck at a very reasonable cost.Got tires, brakes, struts, shocks, alignment and most of the front suspension replaced.My 2003 Chevy Trailblazer drives likes it’s a brand new SUV. So I grabbed my Jeep from them around noon on Saturday. Friday, I had an emergency light situation when I need the car for a big travel on Sunday. I immediately went to Spiffy. Jesse came up to me and told he had other customers but could make time to at least find out the root of the problem. WHEN I TELL YOU THIS MAN WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND TO SERVE ME, I AM NOT JOKING! Not only did he understand the urgency, he knows how big of an inconvenience cars can be, and Jesse, along with the other employee I have talked too several times, could not be more supportive, down to earth, all around good people about it. They understand people just as well as cars. I have taken my car to Spiffy 3 times now, and not once have I had a bad experience, or even relatively close to a bad one. If you have any car troubles this is the place to go! They saved our day (My sons 13th Birthday) as we were coming from Lexington, SC and I was taking 4 children to a swim hole. Some how on the 2.5 hour ride, my bottom cover of my engine started coming off and dragging the ground. I couldnt get under the car to fix it (I did try twice on the side of the rode). Then, I saw Spiffy Auto World while I was driving by. I was just going to ask them for duct tape (thinking that would hold it up for a day or 2). However, they informed me that it wouldnt hold and within 5-10 minutes they fixed my problem. Super nice and very trustworthy leadership and employees. My wife took our car here for a state inspection. The inspector Jonathon told her the rear brakes and rotor were seized and the brakes were metal on metal contact. They claimed $130 brake job and it would be just 30 minutes. As you can see in the picture the brakes were just fine, the lower pad is a brand new one. At first, when I asked the inspector about a manager or owner being around he said he was the only one. But when pressed all of a sudden the manager and owner appeared. The owner of the shop Anthony at first said there’s no way the inspector claimed metal on metal contact and started arguing with me about it. This kind of aggressive behavior was not cared for by me, and would have been intimidating by my wife if they claimed this same thing. I just wanted my money back and I would never be back to this kind of shoddy place. Anthony gave me my money back and gave his attitude as I walked away. I’LL NEVER BE BACK!

Spent one grand on a fuel pump only to get the car back with an AC problem and a first in my lifetime mouse in the car. While waiting for the fuel pump to arrive, I was told on the phone that parts of the car would be disassembled so that the part could get installed quickly when it arrived the next day. So the car was partly disassembled overnight in their shop. Seems a bit coincidental. I was convinced to bring the car back in to look at the AC problem. The refrigerant was apparently below adequate levels so they said they’d recharge it and vacuum out any moisture.The second we started the car after getting it back, the AC was blowing hot air. It’s as if they didn’t even test to make sure what they did worked to fix the AC. So needless to say, not coming back and I wouldn’t recommend going here.

Needed some help with new brake pads and rotors, was able to go in and out within 1 hour. Anthony was able to give me a great price as well as sit down and show me the damage to get a full understanding of the problem. Definitely will be going to him from here on out as I have had problems in the past with other mechanics.

We took our car in last week to get one of the fuel pumps replaced. The car sat on the lot for 4 days taken apart without any work done until the part came in. They took it to Nissan dealership to get the software updated. We get our car back 5 days later and over grand spend only to find their is a mouse living inside our car and the AC is not working properly. We had to get our car detailed and everything deeped clean. The mouse entered the car while in their possession and they didn’t admit it was their fault or help out in any way but told us to bring the car back in to see what’s going with the AC. We get the car back the same day and the AC still DOESN’T work and we just gave them another $89 for NOTHING. We absolutely don’t recommend this place at all and are telling everyone to avoid them. Such a waste of money. Go find a new place to take your car.

Me and my husband service our company truck there for over a year now. They understand that if the truck is down we are not making money. They always manage to fit us in for an emergency repair and even stay after hours to get us back on the road as fast as possible. Jesse always explains the repair and their prices are quite fair. **The only drawback I have about this place is that when I received my car back and got inside, it smelled very strong of smoke. To the point that Im certain the technician was smoking while resetting the oil change light. It was gone in a few minutes with the windows down thankfully, but if I had had my 2 children with me I would have waited for it to air out and said something to the guys. Thats the only reason I take a star from my rating, because otherwise Im really happy with the service. And I will still return for future work.**All of the employees were really nice, I had to drop in for a quick oil change and they were done in 20 minutes or so without an appointment. The guy behind the counter was nice to talk to, and was very knowledgeable. They all were totally fine with me bringing my German shepherd inside to wait with me too.

My wife bought a used Ford from Spiffy after I wrecked our other car. I was not with her when she made the purchase. We had a problem with the transmission but they stood behind everything they were supposed to. When I did have to do something extra they made it as pain free as possible. In short, I got a good car at a reasonable price and now even send my other car to them for repairs and maintenance. Very easy to deal with, low pressure, they dont try to stick you with anything you dont need. Very pleased to have found a reliable and honest place to take my cars and when my older car gets too old I will be going here for a replacement.

I was out in Mooresville and my car would not start. I had it towed to a nearby auto repair shop that told me the needed repairs would take 10 hours, cost $1,200 and they couldnt do it until next week! We know the owner of Spiffy Auto World, so called him for his opinion. He immediately said let me take a look and found that only an hour of work and a new part at 1/3 of the cost was all that was needed. I have to give my sincere thanks and gratitude to the fine staff here at Spiffy. I am from Pennsylvania and was driving south to get a dog with special needs I had adopted from a shelter and on my way home while in North Carolina, started to have engine trouble and after pulling off at an exit not far from their shop, my vehicle died on the ramp. Some kind gentlemen helped me out and recommended Spiffy and got them in touch with me straight away. They came very fast to transport me, my dog and the Jeep back to their shop to see what could be done. My Jeep was pretty much done but the staff went above and beyond to help secure a rental so I could still get home and helped in giving me options as well about my vehicle. Left my 2004 Lexus RX330 with them while I was on vacation, to find out why it had no power and shifting issues. Jesse was in constant contact with me, and the progress, with the results of test they performed, and the next steps. Got the car back running as good as new. It ended up being the Knock Sensors. Honest, friendly, trustworthy and very fair. all around good people. would definitely recommend.i rarely, if ever, leave reviews on google, but spiffy auto world are totally worth it. my left front wheel started making loud clanking noises while i was on the interstate and i couldnt figure out what it was, but something felt off. luckily, spiffy is on my way home. i pulled over nearby to see if i really needed to bring it in, worried about cost and when i finally decided to turn around and have it checked, JD came out to see me immediately, having noticed when i pulled over earlier, and identified the main problem in seconds (it was kind of obvious, two bolts were missing. any further and the whole wheel probably wouldve come right off). Jesse was awesome and kept me informed of all developments, as the problem turned out to be much worse than missing bolts, while i waited in the main office watching tv. they didnt have the part but had it sent right over so they could start work asap. really awesome customer service. they found out they had to do a tiny bit more work after the invoice had been printed and didnt add on any extra charges. they even gave me a sizeable discount (my bill was almost halved) and had me back on the road about two hours later. thank you so much, Jesse, JD and everyone at Spiffy. what could have been a horrible day turned out to be a pretty good one actually.

Went in for an inspection and they said they would not pass the inspection because of a small movement in a ball joint. Wanted to pressure me into passing inspection and pay $320 for 1 ball joint that was not in need of repair. I will not return.

This place is the ONLY place I will take my two vehicles to in Mooresville. I have lived in Mooresville for about 25 years and I found Spiffys about 3 years ago. I have two older model cars and EVERY time I have had to have anything done to them this place has always been super about explaining to me what needs to be done to the car. They dont make you feel girl stupid about cars like most places do. Jesse takes the extra time to really help me understand what is going on and also can translate to the mechanics what I report to him is going on. He is a trusted advisor that I hope they never lose. The entire shop treats me with such respect and has also navigated issues of the aging process of my older cars as skillful mechanics. I trust them totally and highly recommend this place to my family and friends.
