Ive used Keith and the guys at Taylors several times now on multiple cars with great success. I am a BMW enthusiast and heavy DIY guy with a well outfitted shop at home, but Taylors has really helped when I dont have the time or expertise on particular jobs. Keith is a straight shooter and very upfront. I have never experienced anything but full transparency and honesty from him. A+

This shop does well diagnosing and fixing our Land Rovers. Weve had 2 different models in and everything comes back in working order. Its a much better experience than going to the dealership and costs much less as well. Im not saying its cheap, but nothing is with LRs. Thanks Taylor!

I had went to other local places who could not assist in resolving my issue. I took it to the dealership without any success in finding a resolution in which the cost was not over severely overinflated. I was provide with great advice and cost effective options to taking care of my faulty camera even if it meant not having work performed there. It is a nice change to see a down to earth service center provide honest feedback and not try and up sell you on everything. My Audi is due for regular service maintenance soon with a reasonable estimate and I will be utilizing this team going forward for my any of my Audi needs. Thanks again for assisting me!

When the shop I usually go to informed me that they couldnt do the diagnostics on the check engine light for my 08 Saab convertible anymore I thought I was going to be stuck going to Charlotte. They referred me to Keith and i am SO glad they did! I dropped the car off on Saturday using the easy drop box, he checked it out on Monday and explained in simple terms and in detail what the problem was and gave me an estimate. I hadnt had the car serviced in a while, so I asked him to give it a quick once over for any issues and he sent me an email with a complete report and summary of recommendations. The list was reasonable so I told him to go ahead and take core of it. By Wednesday I had my car back running perfectly at exactly what he quoted. Id recommend Taylors to anyone looking for an honest, straightforward mechanic!

Keith was very helpful and kind. We had a 2020 Mercedes Maybach that went into theft mode and would not start. Mercedes Roadside assistances said they would have to tow the car. Keith came to us, got it out of theft mode and the car started right away. It’s hard to find service like that these days—just neighbors helping neighbors. Definitely will call him again.

I highly recommend Taylors Sports N Imports. I had my car towed there after hours due to a coolant system failure. They promptly diagnosed the problem, explained the repairs and got the parts ordered. A week after getting my car back the new water pump failed on a Friday afternoon they rushed an upgraded water pump in and had my car good to go by early Monday. I appreciate a honest shop that is willing to do the right thing.

I recently called Taylors and asked them to compare service/repair prices vs. a dealership and Taylors prices were tremendously lower than the dealer. Taylors has been great at communications, service status updates, and has delivered on their estimated completion times.

When I spoke to the lady on the phone, she was as nice as she could be and very understanding when I had to reschedule the appt. However, it was explained to her that my wife got a speeding ticket and we needed the odometer calibrated. When we showed up to have the work done, she was not there and a grumpy old guy came to the counter. At first he was messing in his cell phone for a couple minutes as I stood there and watched, which I dont mind and wouldnt normally say anything about that. As he was pulling up the information, he started cussing up a storm when he saw that the request was placed in my name and not my wifes name as she was the one with the ticket. It was F this and F that and he continued to explain several times that the request would have to be changed to her name as she got the ticket. I continued standing there while he finished his temper tantrum ready to give him the correct information. I then explained to him that I simply provided the information the lady asked for on the phone. Once he was done with his tantrum, I provided him with my wifes information twice and when he printed out the service ticket, it still had the wrong information, and a few more cuss words were tossed around. So again, I provided him with the information while watching him chicken peck the keyboard in hopes the information was saved properly this time. Thankfully 3rd time worked. He then continued to ask for the keys, which I had sitting on the counter. He snatched up the keys and stayed walking away, as he got to the door, I could barely hear him say that its going to be a while before they could get to it. He acted as tho we were more of a bother and he didnt want the business. Based on the interactions that happened in the first ten minutes, I had decided that after an hour passed, I was going to go elsewhere if they werent done. While we were in the waiting room waiting, the nice lady on the phone appeared and she was extremely nice. Thankfully, as we approached the one hour mark, she called out asking if we were ready. I walked up to the counter and there was a sheet of paper laying on the counter, which was the results from the test. Nothing was explained as to what the results were, just a comment about taking that paper to our lawyer. So I paid the $138 and we left. This is not a complaint about workmanship or amount of time to complete the service as all that seems to be fine. This complaint is for the grumpy old guy that I dont know and it is not professional at all to continue to cuss as much as he did and act as tho I typed the information into the computer. In a nutshell, if you are considering going here, I believe they do good work but you better hope the grumpy old guy stays locked up in the basement.

I had recently moved to Mooresville and needed work on my power steering... Taylors made time for me and reminded me of my familys old business that was pretty comforting. 2 years ago the Hendrick Mini dealer in Charlotte replaced my power steering pump due to a recall and I thought that it was fixed since it was straight from the source... and to my surprise upon picking my car up and driving away from Taylors... my car drove the smoothest and most quiet I have ever experienced. I am sure that it was never right until now... Christina was very timely calling me with an estimate to the time it was repaired.... She even followed up after that day to ensure I was still satisfied with my service. I will trust Taylors before I would another dealer from here on out...Besides the great customer service ~ the repair costs are much more reasonable...

Id taken my BMW to a couple of shops, neither of which impressed me. The third time was the charm. Taylors was recommended to me, and after a good first impression, the impressions remained good. They listened to my information and discussed the next steps with me, and made sure I understood everything being done. The work has been high quality and they have had many good suggestions regarding good practices that will keep the car running well.

Taylors ran a diagnostic check on a steering problem on my 2013 accord and determined that the steering column needed to be replaced. The replacement cost was $800. Keith then said he would happy to fix it but advised me to call Honda and nicely ask if they could help, even though it was past the warranty mileage. I called Honda and said they would replace it for $200. I really appreciated him saving me $600.

I Take my VW here, I have had nothing but a positive experience. It’s hard to find a trustworthy mechanic. I had a part replaced by them, but the code came up just a couple weeks later for the same part that was replaced. They not only replaced the faulty part but fixed my terminal as well at no charge. I honestly won’t take my car anywhere else. When you find an honest mechanic, you keep them. Thank You Taylor Sport-N-Imports!

If you need answers to problems no one else can fix, then go to Taylors! For great customer service and the quality of work, this shops price cannot be beat. For years I have struggled with Dealerships and mechanics who did not understand my very finicky 2006 VW Beetle. I have paid the same amount for other places to do nothing about the issues Ive requested help with (sometimes making the issues worse), as well as received little to no safety inspections from other shops when I suggested something felt off. Taylors went out of their way to make sure every part of the car was safe and found things that other places had clearly just ignored, leading me to believe other places Ive taken my car have lacked the caliber of mechanical knowledge needed to work on my vehicle.When I called to set up the appointment I talked with Keith, who got me an appointment on exactly the day I requested; very convenient! When I got to the shop I told them that my check engine light had been on and that I had reset it to see if the issue had been fixed, but I knew without it turning back on that the issue had returned. The shop was a little annoyed because reading the original code is the best and fastest way to find out what is wrong. Instead of charging me more to find the problem, they charged me the same amount to diagnose even though they had to do some extra investigating. They also took me into the shop and showed me exactly what was wrong.They want you to confirm for yourself that something isnt right; they arent pulling any fast ones on you. Make sure to talk to Frank!

Went there for a E55 transmission fluid flush quoted 300. Came back 3 days later and It wasnt done first of all. then he said it cost 600 dollars! Not honest about his pricing if you quote it live by it!

Frank has been nothing more than help. I owned a 2003 BMW 325Ci convertible and have taken it to a good amount of other mechanics - each telling me there was something wrong with the car when it was not, or the problem was something different. They were right on track and knew exactly what the problems were and nailed it. I live about an hour away from the shop and they would be the ONLY shop I would want to work on a European vehicle. Thanks to them I have become wiser and more knowledgeable in the car repairing world. Other mechanics have taken advantage of me because I am only 18 years old. Frank has not..he has treated me like I was his own son throughout the entire experience. I believe that is how a relationship should be ESPECIALLY when it comes to fixing a car. It should not be something such as going into a shop paying to fix your car and walk out. I recommend everyone and everyone i know that has a european vehicle to use them. They are the BEST!

Rolled into Taylors this morning with major problems! Idler pulley incinerated and shredded the serpentine belt to absolute pieces. Keith took a look at it, Knew exactly what I needed! Got me in and out & I was still in time to make it to school at NASCAR Technical Institute! Coming from NY, I was weary about finding a mechanic in the area, I think I have found the best one for import cars in the area! Be careful leaving your car here for it to be test driven after any repairs, was following behind an employee driving a customers car texting and driving and going in an out of the lane. As a father with kids I would hate to see these careless actions affect another family with a head on collision.

We had an issue with our X5 returning home from a holiday visit. The vehicle started to misfire and not idle. We had to have it towed and found Taylors on the internet. Taylors was able to determine the problem was a high amount of water in the fuel. They provided a quote to correct the issue and were able to get it corrected in a short period of time. It was also correct the first time.

I took my vehicle to Keith at Taylors. I let him know that my intention was to sell the car, and I wanted to fix a few things prior to selling the car. We reviewed the things that I wanted to do. He said that he would do a free 29-point inspection on the vehicle to find any mechanical issues. We also discussed clipping in a few trim pieces and replacing weatherstripping and trim around a window. He wasnt sure what the price would be on the the window trim, so the last thing I told him before I left was that if it was over $150.00 to call me, if it is less to go ahead and replace it. I received a call two days later that my car was ready, and the total was $328.00. I went to the shop to pay for the repairs and pick up the car. After paying, I went to inspect the car, and the window trim was not replaced as we discussed. Basically, Keith said that he forgot. Then I looked at the bill. He charged me $88.00 for a oil change (reasonable for a BMW), about $96 for a diagnostic (which he said would be free), and $126, to replace plastic clips on three trim pieces (seemed ridiculous). I asked him about the window trim, and he said that he could not take care of that for me. I would have to buy the part for around $150, and he would do the labor for free for the confusion. In short, the repairs I thought cost $328, would now cost almost $500. I thought the whole experience was unethical, and that he should have done the repairs he agreed to. I will never do business with this shop again. I have never worked with a shop that didnt write down what needed to be done, and communicate the repair costs accordingly, so you can make an educated decision. They took no responsibility for not keeping their commitment even though he admitted that our discussion on the repair expectations took place just as I described.

Taylors Sport-N-Import has worked on my 2000 Lexus ES300 several times, and I am always pleased with the service, the quality, and the efficiency of the work. Everyone is friendly and knowledgable, and I trust that when my car is in the shop, I will NOT have to come back to fix the same repair. Recently, I had the headlight resurfacing service and my car looks so much better, and I can see better at night. Thanks to the crew at Taylors, my car will last another 100,000 miles!

It was my first time at Taylors. I felt the service was great and the staff was very friendly. Most importantly, unlike many other places I have been, there was absolutely no effort to upsell me. I came in for an oil change on my 2007 SL550 they checked out 30 other things on the car and didnt try to sell me anything. Said car was in great shape. I plan to take my car back to Taylors for all my future service needs.

I have taken my Range Rover to Taylors for the past 7 years. I have spent a lot of money here but it wouldve been a lot more going to the RR dealership in Charlotte. Christina on reception and Jesse the main mechanic are excellent and cannot be more helpful. My sons now have European cars and are now also customers of Taylors.

Terrible phone conversation with an employee here. Answered the phone, did not give his name. I explained I was interested in having custom work done to my Audi (removing cats). Gentlemen sounded extremely offended told me he would not do illegal work I am asking and hung up the phone before I could attempt to explain my unique situation.I was extremely insulted, and think it is laughable someone would hang up on a potential customer without even inquiring as to if the car was a registered vehicle, or offer me any option to continue the conversation. WOW. This attitude is childish and I did not expect that from anyone owning a shop wanting new customers period.Best of luck to anyone going here, and I hope you manage to not offend the staff because they will treat you like trash if you do. God forbid this happens during a repair job and this attitude comes out.

The worst repair shop in the Lake Norman area. Untimely repairs and extremely rude and dishonest staff. My vehicle was sent in to have gaskets repaired and now I need a new engine. It’s now 3 months and I still don’t have my vehicle or a resolution in site. The case is now in the hands of the DOJ. Will keep you all updated, until then if at all possible avoid them. Keith, if you prefer to have a trial by media we can. My objective is really quite simple. Pay for the damage you caused to my vehicle. Dont call me and complain that your work patron made concessions to repairs that you cant afford. Dont send me a estimate dated 2 months after I took my vehicle to you with erroneous repair costs. your $7k bill is different from the $3,340 Christina Told me, which is different that what you told the sheriff which was $3,000 +/- . Keith you lied to the Sheriff on the balance of a Bill. What kind of business do you run? Wait...I believe you have numerous complaints about inflated billing dating back years just check your own reviews. I know you understand that NC has very strict consumer protection laws that you have clearly violated.I have all the text messages to prove it, I asked you for your business liability insurance you refused to provide it. ( hopefully you have a valid insurance policy)... In regards to your nonsensical comment on the maintenance, the last company to touch my vehicle was Taylors, a few months back, if you check your records you will see that I was once a loyal customer you replaced the rear main seal in my 2012 X6. this year alone maybe 7k paid in repairs worked on my 2011 ML350 Bluetec. Nonetheless the lack of business ethic you and your establishment showed is evident. My oil is changed regularly, I top it off as needed and required by BMW. Its rather hilarious that you will and want to try to make it a maintenance issue or pass the blame on BMW and not your technician. Fact of the matter is my Vehicle was dropped off with no mechanical issues, no knocking, rattling, no performance issues whatsoever. You were supposed to replace, the upper oil pan Gasket, valve cover gaskets ( is that not maintenance...) 2 months later your patron avoids my phone calls, emails as is rude because I will not sympathize with the outlandish treatment and service you provided?lets be honest, its quite possible that your technician when putting the vehicle back together made a mistake, maybe he ran it dry, dropped a tool, something happened to cause knocking and rattling that wasnt there on the onset. Once again repair what you broke it that simple. On 08/17/18 I asked Christina to tow it to be BMW get a repair diagnostic analysis and if your technician felt competent and confident enough to repair the damage he caused then by all means do what needs to be done absorb the costs. parts, labor etc. and do whats right. Dont forget that she already agreed to absorb the costs of the repair. let me know if I should post the text messages on this forum. What you wanted to do was charge me for towing the vehicle to BMW and up charge me on the repair bill. like I said to you on the phone DO NOT INSULT my intelligence. As I told you on Monday 08/20/18 if you get something addressed to me in writing from BMW stating that its a mechanical defect and not your wrong doing, get something from BMW stating that they will replace my engine + give me a rental car until the repairs have been completed then we can talk. If and when you decide to do the right thing you have my number. Please use if should you chose to reach out and settle this matter. If not we will eventually have this discussion with the DOJ, SOS and your insurance carrier. I pray you have business and personal liability insurance. either way we will soon find out. Readers, my vehicle went in for gasket replacement the week of 06/12/18, no check engine light, no misfires, no issues unfortunately now from what TAYLOR SPORT n AUTO say has a knocking engine and is UN-drivable

I had heard good things about this shop but my phone conversation will guarantee I will never take a vehicle to them for repair. I called to be greeted by a mumble of Taylors, no name, hello, or anything. I explained what I wanted to have done and he said he would call me right back to give me a quote. 30 minutes go by so I think he might have written my number down incorrectly so I call them back to see what the deal was. I was spoken to very rudely and then they hung up. They called back again to quote me a ridiculously high price and then told me they would not install the OEM parts I had already purchased for the car claiming them were a liability. How still in the box OEM parts directly from the manufacturer are a liability is beyond me and I have never heard of a repair shop with this policy. Never again will I bother with calling this place.

Very disappointed in Taylor’s. They charged a diagnostic fee along with a mark-up on the parts. Most shops do lot charge the diagnostic fee if you go ahead and have your vehicle repaired at their shop!
