I have a 2013 Corvette LS3 that is a Heads, Cam, and Intake car. I had it originally tuned by Carolina Performance And Dyno out of wilkesboro. Let me tell you it was the absolute worst tune and horrid driving vehicle.. Not only did it drive and perform terribly, it thew a check engine light driving home. Absolutely pitiful. I called PCM since they have done some of my previous vehicles before. PCM absolutely KILLED it, the absolute hands down best tune I’ve ever ran on a big cam car!! The cars drivability is dang near stock, and has fantastic manners for massive cam. Not only did they fix the drivability, they ALSO GAINED 14whp and 23ftlb of torque! They will forever do the rest of my cars as they have proved to me once again they really know how to tune. They do usually have long wait times, BUT it’s for a reason. It’s WELL worth the wait I assure you, don’t make the mistake I did and try someone else. My car no longer hunts AFR’s, no longer surges, no longer misfires, no longer bucks, no longer idle surges, it simply runs FANTASTIC now. The whole crew here is super polite, helpful, and willing to answer questions to the best of their ability. 10/10 recommend PCM to anyone!

I was referred to PCM by a friend who stated that they were the best in town and after doing business with them, I certainly agree. Kelly and her crew are extremely knowledgeable in every aspect of cars and was extremely helpful in guiding me in the right direction for my goals. These are great people to do business with I had a email tune done on my 2011 camaro. After having two other people and myself try to get this car driving right these guys nailed it down it just two tune files. Car has a decent sized cam for a street car and it drives so close to stock if not for the idel you wouldnt even know it was camed. If your on the fence about working with these guys just do it you will not regret it.

WOW! Just got my PCM Tune back from PCM of NC. All I can say is what a difference. More Pickup, more power, and better driving. I literally had a great experience with them. Answered all of my questions that I needed to have answered. And their mail PCM option helped save me a bundle and time. Easily removed my PCM and sent it to them without putting it on the Dyno. Calibrated my Hummer to what I needed. Not the option I exactly wanted, but it was a whole lot better than waiting over a month just to get an appointment much less driving the 3 hours to get there. AMAZING companyI just had my PCM returned for my 2006 Hummer H3.She like a newborn foal. She takes off like a rabbit now where as before she dragged uphills. The idle is now much lower purrs like a kitten.Definitely worth the only $200 + to get done. Check this place out😁😁😁

PCM of NC performed a tune for my PCM after doing a few engine mods on my 2000 z28. I mailed it out and had it back just ask quick as the mail moved. The car ran fantastic! Of course I wanted to make more power so I had PCM of NC install a new cam and had the engine dyno’d. In the end I went from the stock 305 HP to about 450 HP. Now the car runs REALLY GOOD! No other shop will be doing any work on my z28. I found exactly what I was looking for here. Mark and Kelly provide excellent service and really cared about achieving the results I was looking for. This is the best place to take a GM car for performance upgrades. I’ll rave about this place to everyone :)

Ordered an Email tune from PCM on a Sunday night and had it by Monday morning first thing! Great turn around time and the car ran great almost emediatly. Please note PCM of NCs reply and added images to show their dishonesty and deception. You know its not good, when they cant stop lying.PCM of NC treats customer vehicles like garbage. After dropping off a 2013 Corvette 427, it was there for 5 days. After picking vehicle up, it was found to have deep scratches in the hood, an oily substance smeared on the hood, fender, and windshield. The car was wiped off making scratches, and hand prints scratching vehicle. PCM of NC claimed to have reviewed 5 days of video in 1 1/2 hours and that nothing happened there, and they are not responsible. Since posting on Facebook many others have posted that theyve had bad experiences with them as well. I would no longer recommend them for anything. Not trustworthy at all in my opinion.As you can see by PCM of NCs reply, they are dishonest. They lie constantly.They replied that the car was picked up on a bright and sunny day. It was rainy and dreary. The car wasnt test driven when picked up, because of this FACT. It was only backed into an enclosed trailer, and winched in backwards, IMMEDIATELY. See the Moorseville newspaper image for Dec. 4th, the Friday afternoon that the car was picked up.They say that they werent contacted for three days after the vehicle was picked up. Thats true, but they are misrepresenting why. The car was picked up Friday. I didnt arrive home until the evening, and didnt unload the car until the next day. PCM of NC is closed on Saturday and Sunday. I had to wait until Monday to call them BECAUSE THEY WERE NOT OPEN TO CONTACT THEM FOR THREE DAYS.PCM of NC told me that the catch can puked oil while the car was on the dyno. The car does not have a catch can, and there isnt even a trace of oil in the engine bay, anywhere, from any componant.

Two weeks ago. 2015 Camaro ss 1le. Had cradle bushing and upper control arm bushings done also one piece driveshaft (dss). Whole new car hard launch goes straight very little wheel spin in 1st or 2nd, have 600 +hp at rear wheels. Kelly and her staff are very professional. This was the third project they did for me wouldnt have any one but PCM work on car.

After engine failure in my 07 Trailblazer SS, I went with PCM of NC, who did a fantastic job of replacing my motor with a max effort 403 ci stroker build. Also added suspension, front drivetrain parts, along with tuning. Truck runs awesome. Completely exceeded my expectations!

I’ve tried for almost a week to get ahold of ANYONE at pcm of NC. I called ( 3 ) days in a row with NO answer, was prompted to message them via their website messenger and have yet to receive a response, have left voice messages and had no return call to date! They claim to strive for great customer service, quality, and honesty. The customer service is non existent if I can’t reach anyone so I can do better than assume the quality and honesty are far from sub-par!!!! Skip this place and take your business elsewhere like I’m going to . Hypertech do plenty of chip tuning that have much better heritage and provenance, and dyno/ speed shops are literally a dime a dozen in Charlotte and any deserve your business over these people!

Have had 3 separate issues from poor mechanic work. After having a new ls2 built and installed, oil and transmission fuild leaks after getting home, harmonic balancer not torqued properly, and now resulting in a broken crankshaft. In tearing everything back down I have found multiple parts in very poor condition that should have been replaced or at minimum brought to my attention at the time of the build. I would not recommend them to work on a bicycle, let alone a expensive LS build.

Brought my 2012 cts v wagon in for a 93 tune and e85 tune after having some parts installed. I was treated fairly and Alvin recommended the right fuel system upgrade to protect my motor from running too lean. She makes 571 on 93 and 605 on an e85 blend. Super happy with the added power.

I have always been able to reach these guys promptly and theyre very knowledgeable and friendly. They earned a customer for life!

Mark is great to work with, USPS shipped and damaged my chip, Mark was quick to respond and get it taken care of! Great service and product.

Pretty long process to get my harness, but they were there giving updates along the way. Had to have a 2nd fan sent because UPS likes to break things. Again, PCMofNC took care of things - Kelly was great to work with.All said & done their electric fan conversion is legit. Get the manual switch option for sure; never know when you might need it or want it. The programming they did on the PCM to run the fans works great so far. Simply sent it, got it back and plugged it in and it worked. If youre doing other engine mods just go ahead and get the GT fans and upgrade to a 34 core if you dont have it already - itll be worth it. The GT fans install like OE because they are.Great product, good folks. Just be advised that if youre doing the electric fan conversion its not the fastest process so do it while you dont need the truck or while youve got it torn apart anyway.

If you have a vehicle and feel that it should drive better you definitely need to consider letting PCM of NC put an existing tune or custom tune on your vehicle. I have a 2008 Escalade with the 6.2 that was very disappointing to drive. I claimed that it had marshmallows for pistons or the tune had been developed by GMs legal team. In short, it sucked! PCMofNC had dyno tuned one of my other vehicles so my first thought was to ask them to tune the Escalade. The goal was drivability not to make it a hot rod. PCMofNC delivered big time, the Escalade is a completely different vehicle in terms of drivability. The shifting and acceleration are now completely within the realm of how a car should behave. What a difference!!!! Best ROI youll ever get!!!

My car spent several weeks with them getting a twin turbo kit, fuel system, clutch and PCM custom cam. I cant say enough about the tune, the drivability is absolutely incredible. I am very dissatisfied with the professionalism that this company has. I ordered a chip and when it arrived they did not use my provided information to set it up to my vehicle preference. I followed up to have a fix to this issue, but they are saying they need to follow up with the tuner assigned to my chip. The tuner should give me a call by the end of the day or the following day. It has been over 1 month without a resolution. When i call no one answers, when i call using a family number or work number someone answers in seconds. Going back to my cell phone they dont answer seconds after the other call. Leading me to believe that they are not answering that number on propose. I had paid them to do a service, they are failing to deliver. I am deeply sadden and disappointed that a company would go this low on their customer service.

You did a very good job excellent price on mail order tune PCM for a C5 Corvette. They are very responsive. They answer the phone when you call them they are helpful.the turnaround time from the point of when I shipped my PCM to the point when I got it back was about a week the turnaround time is excellent.

Instructions are very clear and make install easy. The customer service I have received has been absolute top notch! PCM of NC made the entire process so easy. The process was new to me and they explained everything is easy to understand terms. Shipping and turn around time was super fast. I would them again in a heartbeat.

I purchased a stock replacement PCM for my 2006 Envoy, L6 engine. I drove three hours to pick it up to get the vehicle back on the road. Vehicle would not start after relearning the security. I contacted them back and they told me to bring it back (three hour drive) and they would disable the security but it appeared to me to be working correctly. Unable to get the vehicle started I took to a dealership and paid mega bucks and found that the PCM was programed for the wrong year vehicle with a V8 engine.I had to pay the dealership to reprogram the PCM and it runs great now. They refused my refund and said If we had been able to double-check the PCM, we could have determined that the programming didnt take and re-do it or replace the PCM. And why would that process have not been done before I picked it up????? Be aware of their business practices.Reference your response: I did not say the dealer put a fuel pump on the vehicle, I said that I put a fuel pump on the vehicle which did not fix the problem. The vehicle did not run until the PCM was reprogramed by the dealer which you admitted was the problem.The bottom line is the PCM was programed for the wrong year vehicle and a v8 engine instead of the L6 engine that I had.

This company is amazing! I needed a 6l80e to 4l80e wire harness asap and these guys made it, and had it to me in just a few days! Absolutely one of the best companies Ive ever had the pleasure of doing business with! I will definitely be a repeat customer of theirs!

Awesome experience with educational staff! Brought them my 2017 Chevy Silverado that I lifted 15” and installed a set of 40 inch tires on. Corrected my shift points as well as the speedometer and it’s back to functioning the way it should with this new setup. Very please with the results and they were VERY fair on the price. This team is fantastic! There is a reason they have a waitlist. Truly great service and excellent craftsmanship. I came in with my own headers and cats to be installed and then tuned after waiting for a few months for my turn to arrive. There was extra work that needed to be done to get the headers to fit and their team took the time to do it and do it right. My 12 Camaro SS sounds amazing, the added hp can be felt in every pull and Im beyond happy with the work they did.

I just installed my new tuned PCM for my 2004 Trailblazer LS 4.2L after waiting for the new brain to arrive feeling like a kid on Christmas anxiously waiting for his much anticipated gift. My TB now has the low end torque, acceleration and guts I always wished it had when I bought it! The performance has been everything advertised and more. Mark was great to work with, especially getting my part shipped out, especially dealing with hurricanes Harvey and Irma. I will be back for more parts for sure. I have had my Corvette tuned twice by PCM of NC. Both times I have brought them the car in a non-running condition. They got the car up and running with no big issue. I have been impressed with both there shop work - and there tune. If I have had any questions - they have been quick to respond with answers.

Live 2hrs out of town and had a Sunday open to head down and pick up my buddies car. They didnt have to but opened the shop on a Sunday long enough for us to pick up the car and take a quick tour. Being from the Raleigh area I have a few other shops that are closer to have work done at but will carry my business to PCM. Their customer service shined through that day and it doesnt take much looking around on the internet to find out how competent their work is...top notch!

Theyve done great work on my 2015 Camaro.

My sons 07 trailblazer randomly cut off a couple times and had a pcm failure code that would come on and then clear itself. I took it to the Chevy dealership and asked to have it re flashed they tried it two times unsuccessfully and put the vehicle in safety mode. I was told I needed a new pcm at the cost of 800.00 plus 180.00 labor? I found pcm of N.C. online and had the trailblazer towed home I removed the pcm in under two minutes shipped it of to be tuned and it was back in a matter of days. Installed the pcm in under two minutes and started the vehicle on the first time! It runs great! I would highly recommend doing business with this company!

Excellent service was provided by Mark when he recalibrated my speedometer on my S-10 pickup truck after I changed the differential over to a different rear end ratio.
