Quick and super friendly. Very happy to take lots of your money. Extra fees for going after normal business hours and for using a credit card instead of cash. The owner responded below that there are no extra fees for after business hours which is false. I have it written down for when I called the lady on the phone said it would be $50 extra for a gate/lock fee if I come after 5pm. If this is not the case, then please speak to your shady employee!

Dispatcher was awesome. Wrecker was fast with the work, but failed to let the shop know that my keys were in the gas cap. I get that the place was closed, but thats why they have a drop box for keys.

We had a broken ball joint and when Johnathan put it on the trailer it didnt scrub or drag and when we got to the destination he noticed the tire was going to rip off the front bumber and then took the tire off and SAFELY brung the car down from the trailer to the asphalt without any damage and was extremely nice and a very professional driver and his wife was also nice strongly recommend

We had a break down in a truck and and a goose neck trailer and we couldnt have asked for a better company to help us. They went above and beyond to accommodate us. If there were 10 stars we would give them that. Awesome people....

Horrible do not use. They told my daughters truck to the wrong location. The driver did not use the address that I gave them.when I called the dispatcher was very rude not empathetic, she talked over me, and she wastwas to blame thedthe address saying itait pinged to the incorrect location which was a lie! He did not use the address at all and he even forgot to ask for payment from me and had to call me later on that night. HeHHe smelled like alcohol when hethe arrived. HecHe lockedalocked thedthe truck and lost the key. There was damage to my truck so lets see how honest they will be to resolve that.oh yeah the key was found hours later on the GROUND somewhere. The truck was finally taken to the correct location at 530 pm the next day! Kudos to the clean up driver Jessie, he was nice. Worst and most ridiculous experience ever! Do not use them

Im really confused as to all of the negative reviews Ive read online.My husband and I had a Honda Civic that was in the middle of an engine swap that required a tow to the shop to have the work completed.I spoke with Mandy (super friendly!) and explained the situation. She got me set up for a tow with a steel bedded truck, with no money up front, and Cody was at my driveway within an hour. He expertly maneuvered the tow truck up a hill, through the fence and into my backyard and loaded the vehicle (which had no front wheels due to engine and transmission being removed). Payment wasnt requested until he was ready to leave (since I wasnt accompanying him to the shop where the car would be dropped off), and he allowed the office to handle the payment details while we chatted about his dog.Cody went above and beyond and really helped our family out of a bind and I appreciate him and the company so much for coming to our rescue.When he left, I found he was so careful, he didnt even damage the sod (to my surprise!)Next time I need a tow, Jacobs Towing will be my first call. Thank you all for making this a pleasant experience.

Great service!!! My BMW went down on me and I was stuck on the side of the road. I had no money on me! I called around and every tow truck company pretty much told me oh well. A cop call Jacobs and told them the situation and they came right away! Fair towing and storage price. The lady at the window was EXTREMELY helpful. I was selling the car, they allowed the buyer to look at the car and even towed the car to his location for him. She was super polite to every customer that came through the gates. No they arent racist!!!! People go down there with bad attitudes because their car got towed and expect people to kiss their butts. You get what you put out! So if they were rude to you I can honestly say you probably were rude first and deserved it!

I have had lots of wrecker setvices in the past but never had a service that Jacobs provided.They were nice enough to offer me a lift to the motel and made sure I was safe for the night.They let me drop my trailer and towed my truck to the dealer.They went over and beyond the call of duty.

The customer service in this companies office, along with the level of professionalism is rated minus 10 stars as far as I am concerned. As if the sign that reads NEW GUY PAYS FOR LUNCH posted for the public to clearly see in their office, is not literally a sign of what level of professionalism and respect they have for others/ their own employees. I can assume that they treat people according to the situation at hand after reading these reviews. If you call them for their service, obviously they are a three to five star rating, however, not in other such situations where another agency calls them to tow your vehicle. I do not think they realize that either way, their business is built by paying customers and the contracts they hold, are influenced by such as well. You can make a complaint to the agency that calls on their services, and furthermore, you can as well, email the owner a complaint, and/or file a complaint online with the better business bureau. The woman working in that office was rude to a family member of mine, and directed them to handle their documentation in an unnecessary fashion that caused them to have to return to the office three different times. Apparently she enjoys feeling that she has authority over someones property. There were two babies under 2 years old who had to be in a car over two hours due to her ridiculousness when this could have been as simple as her getting property out of the held vehicle to begin with ! She as well, gave incorrect information to another customer, that my family member had to correct for her. She was not organized with documentation and she clearly does not need to be working with the public. She clearly does not realize that her attitude and horrible customer service can ruin a business a lot faster than 5 star reviews can help it. Contracts can be terminated. The owner of this company may want to consider hiring better office help, more professional and courteous office help with organization skills. She is not judge nor jury and she is in no position to treat CUSTOMERS as such ! Furthermore, my family member asked to have the vehicle locked once they were done, and the vehicle was returned unlocked. Unless they replace the office help with good customer relation skills, I will never call this company for their services, and I will further let my friends, associates, and family know as well.

This place is not user friendly! The site is located in a weird area, no attendant is on duty! You have to call the Montgomery office! When the insurance adjuster arrived they couldnt find the keys! When I rode my bike to site with an police escort! We waited fifteen minutes in the heat! We both were upset! I would of prefer to use Jones towing! They are onsite and helpful!

I call this place several of times asking them did they have my boyfriend vechile i gave them the make and model and i gave them the description of the vechile and they told me they didnt have it.All they kept asking me did i have the vin number i told them no well they stated they didnt have it.after talking to the law and looking at the paper work it showed they have it .so i called them back and girl thats answer the phone said that they cant tell me if tgey dont have it or not if i dont have the vin number .I ask her could she have somebody look out on the yard and see and that lazy girl said no.But i promise if i dont his his stuff atleast out that truck ima sue them.

This company is absolutely horrible! If you want speed,customer service and great prices, save your money and call someone else. Had a veichle delivery scheduled for 10am, told me they couldnt make it and they had to reschedule for the following morning. Well next morning comes around9am 10am 11am, never received a phone call. I called them and they said they would be there in a few hours, a few hours go by and no call. I call them and they tell me they are loading it on the truck and will be there in about 2 hours. Finally received my veichle that i paid 400$ for them to deliver nearly 2 days before. Atleast they couldve given me a call and said they have to reschedule. Wont ever call these people again!

If I could rate them a zero.....believe me I would. The office staff is horrible to deal with. That lady that calls herself a manager, Tracy, she is unbelievable. Rude rude and some more rude. After she doesn’t resolve the problem I ask to speak to the owner then this person that was calling herself the owner, Judy, comes out of this office and she was worse than the original lady. Was told “no charge for the first 24 hours” but I was charged $25. The list of problems just keeps going on and on. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!! THEY ARE LIARS AND CHEATERS!!!

These guys are awesome!!! Got my car stolen and police had to impound it to get prints off car. The thief kept the master key do I was needing to get it towed to the local dealership. My AT&T roadside service said it would be 2 hours until I talked to their manger which called Billy at B&R wrecker to work out a deal for AT&T to pay via credit card over phone. Keeping in mind my wife and 7 month old son are with me. So Billy takes payment from AT&T and gets my car to dealership in less than an hour! Billy was doing all this while eating his lunch and taking multiple phone calls by the way! HANDS DOWN ONE OF THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCED I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED!!! Great service! Showed up quicker than time quoted and towed my semi truck back to their secured yard for the night and finished towing the unit to local Freightliner dealer the next morning. One of their other wrecker drivers gave me a ride to a local hotel. Greatly appreciated that extra step in service!

Tyler was amazing! We were stranded in Montgomery headed to Biloxi. My insurance company had a hard time finding someone who would take us and our two dogs. Tyler rose to the task. He picked us up and was very nice and concerned. Hooked up my car, dropped it at the dealership then when he realized we were from out of state he parked and helped make phone calls to local hotels to find someone that would take our dogs. He found us a great hotel that accepted our dogs and dropped us off. I cant say enough nice things about this man! He restored my faith in humanity today!

Expensive, cant get writing off door window. Female answering phone didnt put u on hold, instead just yelled info, questions, etc from her desk without even covering mic of phone. Unprofessional, didnt seem to know how to locate vehicle, figure cost for holding vehicle, where or even if they had picked up vehicle even with detailed information off wrecker sheet, vehicle correct description & wrecker form ID number.Upon arrival, unprofessional again. Only one there to pick up vehicle a little after 5pm. Had to stand outside in Julys hot heat without even being acknowledged, spoken to or told it would be a while before she could help us. Later another younger female walked up & instantly before she walked in the trailer we were told to come to her window & she would help us. Apologized for any wait we had, knew her stuff & quickly had lot/area vehicle was parked in, figured up cost & we paid. She came right back out & walked us to vehicle. Was friendly, showed empathy, listened to event & socialized making us feel comfortable & decreased our stress.

I cant imagine anyone looking forward to visiting one or any of your local tow yards, but despite the dismal circumstances delivering me to Jacobs Towing Yard, I always felt better after speaking with the staff answering. I wouldnt believe it if not for experiencing myself, truly. They are open 24/7 so you can call or go there anytime you have available; and each & every staff member I encountered personally as well as over the phone...(i.e. note my calls occured multiple times, even multiple times in one day - and always lasting at-length due entirely to my laundry list of questions, concerns and tumultuous, tummy-turning anxiety) every member of this staff has made the difference in me feeling like a nervous wreck, no pun intended, but sharing in the unexpected participation of kindness towards me & my feelings, and they even share the role of responsibility for transitioning my nerves 180 degrees to actually easing my anxiety by patiently listening to me rattle off my what ifs and addressing or answering as best they could, but even offered encouragement & Ill admit it, I cried a couple times from sheer frustration and exhaustion yet they offered the words of support & sympathy I realized I desperately needed but never suspected Id receive, I dont know how to say thank you enough for such kindness but it says so much to me in regard for the employees, their work ethic & their humanity in general. Its totally free to practice personally and/or professionally however its almost impossible to find it offered anywhere by anyone these days...AND THATS DEFINITELY WORTH CRYING ABOUT!!!So here is my weirdly wacky way of saying my rave review...in summation: THANK YOU TO THE EMPLOYEES OF JACOBS TOWING! I was having the worst possible night of my life. My truck got stuck in the mud and I was exhausted and running late to my appointment. It’s my first year as a truck driver so I was definitely freaking out because my trailer could’ve rolled over from the position I was stuck in. First of all the dispatcher Dakota was beyond kind to me and helped me calm down. She treated me like a person and her kindness won’t be forgotten. They tow came much faster than expected and I was safely pulled out. Icing on the cake was I arrived early to drop my load. Thank you guys so much. You saved my job and my future.

I was rear-ended on I-85 and Todd from Jacobs Towing showed up quickly, was very professional, and the staff I spoke to that night were also great. You never want to be in need of a tow service, but I was very impressed with their performance.

Be sure you take everything out of your vehicle or it will not be there. Also get your paperwork with dates etc... When moved, where, authorized person. Promised paperwork in mail and never got it.

My motorcycle broke down at a gas station in Montgomery. It was after the dealer had closed for the day. My road service company was slow getting organized, but once they contacted B&R, it was only 20 minutes, or less before they showed up! The driver (Dalton), came prepared, with a flat bed wrecker & motorcycle specific straps, and tie downs. Loaded my bike carefully, and tied it down securely. With his recommendation, we went to a nicer area of town motel, that was only a mile or so from the dealer, and unloaded my bike safely, right in front of the motel door. Great job! Thanks B&R Towing!

The first tow place I called was unable to help but as soon as I called Jacobs from the lady you took my call to the tow truck driver who came toOur rescue the service was excellent! We were taken car of in less than 30 minutes the tow truck driver was incredibly nice helping us try to diagnose our problem ( which was our gas gauge quit working and welll... we ran out of gas lol) he even pulled us up to a gas station so we could check! Had to wait a little longer than expected

This is the most unprofessional place of business I have ever experienced. Im very disappointed in the City of Montgomery for allowing these rude, cold, and all around mean people to be their towing service. Between speaking in a disrespectful manner to women, being cold towards people who have loved ones in the hospital after an accident, and making it difficult for the insurance companies to get claims processed, I am very surprised that these people are actually in business. Not a single person there has proper phone etiquette or manners. Im feel sorry for anyone who has to deal with this sorry excuse for an establishment.

This placed tried to take the title to my vehicle. They picked it up from an accident and claimed the title from the Alabama Dept of Revenue the same day. My vehicle was not even stored at their facility. My insurance company picked it up a few days after the accident. It took over 2 months to get my car title from them.

If you have an option on other tow companies please consider anyone but these people. After my wreck this is just who the cops called and its been horrible dealing with them. Very rude and unprofessional.

We were told that there was no charge for the first 24 hours of storage but was charged $25.00 for storage the first day plus towing after an accidentAlso would not take a check or credit or debit cardFemale employee was very rude. All she was concerned about was eating her lunch.

The people at the window are rude and racist! I guess that’s what makes their day better. I am from out of state and had my registration emailed to them and they are still trying to give me a had time getting my car out of their lot. It’s even says on my registration that it doesn’t expire til this year on my birthday and being a disabled veteran in the state of Michigan we are not required to have our car registrated but every five years which I explained to them yesterday! I own my car I paid cash for a 2015 in 2014 and I don’t feel as a Black Veteran I should be taking through all this mess. Just so they can continue to have my car sit on their lot collecting fees. I actually had to make a three way call with the Secretary of State to them in order for them to final release my vehicle. If you ever get into a car accident in Montgomery al and you’re black please have your car towed somewhere elseAlso I would advise everyone to make a complaint to the better business bureau on this company because they should not and I repeat should not be in business.

They are as nice and patient as you are and they bleed you out of every penny they .ca get from you and charge $45 for a battery boost to start ur car unless you let them tow it if it wont start but the tow truck driver Bo is a good person if you have to have a tow he went above and beyond to take care of you and the ladies at the window treat you ok but the chubby guy at the window is hard to deal with kind of a jerk.

After 3 days and multiple calls to get my vehicle released to a repair center for an estimate, I call again and find out they took it to the wrong place. Maybe theyre ok at towing but not much else.

We are in Montgomery visiting and were driving around town when one of the drivers decided we were not going fast enough so he ran up behind us honking his horn. As soon as we got to a place where he could, he flew around us and honked the horn again. My 10 year old son (with sensory processing disorder) had his window down and now we are both having trouble hearing. When I called to complain, I was met with attitude and no apology by the woman who answered the phone. I was simply told she would tell the owner and was asked (rudely) for my name and number. I will be calling every day until someone tells me a satisfactory way this will be handled. Shame on the city of Montgomery if they contract with this company as I am reading.

DO NOT BRING YOUR BUSINESS HERE.TLDR: THEY STOLE OUR STARTER IN ORDER FOR US TO HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO PAY $1200 FOR THEM TO TOW BACK TO ATLANTA.I would put 0 starts if I could. Really dirty and grimy people. After my tow truck was stolen last year, we received a phone call that Montgomery Police Department found the vehicle and it would be at this pound. After a 3 hour drive from Atlanta and $450 (excluding a $50 tip to Dakota who was handling oumr parking work in the office) impound fees later, we were walked to the vehicle. Our detective told us that the vehicle runs and drive so were expecting to just start it up and drive it home. The truck wouldn’t start and after some troubleshooting (We are an independent mechanic shop located in South Atlanta), we found that they had removed the starter. They claimed that the vehicle was towed in and they had no idea if it would start or not but GUESS WHAT? We found the starter bolts right beneath the vehicle below where the starter is located, and after showing them, they claimed that they were the wrong bolts. We aisked Dakota for camera footage to see who stole it and she claimed that they don’t have permission to view it. Frustrated already, we luckily found a local Autozone nearby that had another starter (another $200) in stock and a managed to get there right before they closed. We rushed to grab the starter and as a mechanic (We always carry a set of handy tools just Incase), we got back to their lot and installed our starter with the bolts that apparently were wrong. The vehicle crunk right up and we shook their hands and “thanked” them and started our trek to Atlanta.I spoke to Joe (one of their tow truck operators) briefly and he was starstrucked as I’m sure he wanted to tow our vehicle all the way back to Atlanta for the $1200( tow fees) + $450 (impound fees.) Also their tow truck operators are paid off of commission after learning from the quick conversation I had with him.Moral of the story is try to prevent your vehicle from being stolen and do not support this business even for a simple tow. Dirty and crooked people trying to make a living off of commission from people that don’t know any better (luckily in our case, we are mechanics and spent an extra hour or so there rather than just paying them $1200 for the tow.) Additionally, this company has no respect for your vehicle. They will vandalize and do whatever they can to make their job easier as they cut through our tow cable in order to unload another vehicle that was siezed on it. Also don’t give them a tip until after you have seen your vehicle if you still choose to support this business.
