Recently was encouraged (By California High Reach Office Manager -Kristy) to apply for Regional Sales position. My background as a Sales Engineer in metal fabrication of 15 years was a easy qualifier for the position. Interviewed with owner (Randy) along with Kristy. After the 2nd interview (Basically i was given a tour of the plant) I was then asked could i start immediately? I advised Kristy that i would rather start on the first of the month. At the beginning of the month -Kristy explains to me -Theres drug screening required,,, I welcomed any drug screen and offered the results of a private test done independently -As i have to get DOT medical examinations every two years (along with drug screening) and i had just cleared my 2 year medical along with drug screening. Kristy then advised me a longtime office clerk who handles the drug screening recently resigned -I would have to wait another week and that she would call me,,, I requested (via email ) for an offer letter (a simple task -any hiring manager could provide) I made a second request both request were basically ignored. My start date was set - when i went to California High Reach Head Quarters -Kristy was unavailable,,,,via phone,,, email and staff seemed to be embarrassed that they had to answer for her where a bouts.....Please consider the following,,,, Im a high school drop out,,,I received my G.E.D two months before all my friends were going to graduate. I turned down the Navy.... I graduated from a Jr college in Electro- Mechanical Design,, i also have 18 units in Behavior science. Two weeks after i turned down the Navy -i accepted a position at a publicly traded company - My career there lasted nine years,,,stock options 401K,,,, quarterly bonus.... The next 15 years Ive held positions in some of the COOLEST places - My sales pipeline averages 1.2M to 1.6M (usd) annually. I have a professional network that i can call on any day of the week. I semi retired at the age of 48. Life has treated me well !!! When i think of how California High Reach treated me as a candidate to build the companies bottom line though sales. I think of Krisy the office manager. Her background is in Bee Keeping for nine years. Shes known the owner since she was 8 years old....Those are the qualifications to manage California High Reach. I think it was for the best i not report to Kristy or California High Reach.

If you have to get parts here do not speak to Donald.. hes a complete freaking spaz! Better off with counterpart than having to hear his babble.

California High Reach has been so helpful. They have exactly what I need every time. I have rented various kinds of lifts from them and have always arrived on time. I lost keys to lift on an occasion and were able to help me out with a sense of urgency. Thank you

The service department is the best in the business.

They ran our credit card without our permission. There were charges we were told would be fixed, and yet nothing. They send out broken down equipment, and then promise to fix them or reduce the price and dont. We are done after using them for the past 4 years, we are moving on to someone who cares.

I’ve been dealing with California High Reach for a few years now I am done! They are stealing money left and right with their bogus fuel charges. Quote one price and charge another. I have a dispute going with my bank as well to get back funds that were illegally taken from my account. The owner will not discuss any matters with me everyone else said it was out of their hands and there’s nothing they can do as far as supervisors. I don’t think there are none. There equipment is old and dangerous and I highly recommend you stay away from this company. Unless you like chasing your money. Zero stars hopefully this company goes out of business soon.
