The staff was Super friendly, knowledgeable and Fast. As a woman Im Not sure if I was overcharged for my service though. Need a second opinion. Overall the work I did get them to do was legit and professional. Warranty on parts as well.

I called before taking my car in and the person answering the phone looked up my name and that I had been there before. I drove over an hour to get there and once I was there I was informed that there was a 4-5 hour wait and I needed to drop my car off and leave it. It would have been very helpful had I been told when I call that morning about the long wait and dropping the car off but no information at all was shared about the long wait. I will stay closer to home for my repair work even if it cost more money time is valuable. Communication can avoid many problems.

I had an urgent need for brake work. These gentlemen got me in immediately and got the job done. The entire process was explained to me and I was shown where the problems were. All the prices were itemized and explained. Very happy with the work.

On of the biggest rip off places in Mobile. Well never use them again nor recommend them. They give false advertising. Rip off.

Came in with complaints of my front left side brakes. The technician replaced rear brakes and resurface rotors. Return 5 minutes later because it was front brakes and rotors needed to be replaced. Spent over $700 and 7 hours of my time due to wrong brakes replaced.

I had a alignment done here as far as that goes its fine they told me I needed a tie rod and lower ball joints and upper control arms and I took it somewhere else and my lower ball joints were fine and I had other issues that was missed that were serious and I will not use them again.

At budget Brakes i had a great day with the employees they was very friendly.

I am so grateful for Budget Brakes. I had previously taken my SUV to Mavis Tires in Theodore and they apparently installed a part so incorrectly that it screwed everything up over time. I was driving 22 miles to work, 22 miles home (44 mile round trip) DAILY back then, so I was always worried about my squealing breaks but was too busy to ever get anything done about it because work was so hectic. My breaks have not squealed or made those super alarming noises any more. I dont understand much about cars but the guy who worked the counter/who called me explained EVERY detail that was wrong (im sure this is protocol) before continuing with making the changes. They had to fix everything that was done wrong by Mavis. THANK YOU so much!!! This eased my mind and I didnt feel like I was going to die driving to work haha. Will definitely return in the future for any service you guys offer that may be needed.

Customers service was trash!! I didnt waste another minute there.Brung my jag in to get breaks and two new rotors put on. With only two cars in the stalls, he insisted I leave my car there and come back in 3 or 4hrs. After telling him i couldnt, my kids are in the car,he jumps rude! Like i had no other option. So i left and took my business else where. I will never recommend this place to anyone.

This place was by far the worst customer service I’ve ever had in any business I’ve ever been to. I asked them to inspect the brakes on my truck, and when I told him there was a part I had already purchased for one issue that needed repair, the sales clerk told me that I was wasting their time bringing my truck in. He said if they’re not going to repair the truck, I didn’t need to bring it to them. I replied to him that their website says they did inspections, not just repairs. I told him if that wasn’t the case, they needed to take that off of their website. He was very rude. Needless to say, I left without an inspection on my brakes and a waste of a good portion of my day. Very displeased!

I can say they have great customer service. The manager was great by offering me options for the type of package deals for my breaks and not just sell me what was more expensive, that went a long way for me. However, they dont have good parking. Its confusing because usually auto shops have a worker outside to greet you and ask how they can help, you have to get out your vehicle and come in, THEIR PARKING LOTT IS ALREADY SMALL AS CAN BE!!! But great service.

I came in near closingv time. But my brakes were not working while driving home. I stopped by budget brakes and had my vehicle inspected. Pay day was a week away and I had little money. The manager found ways to get my vehicle safely running. They finished all the work in less then an hour. They even repaired other problems for free that would have been $200. I would recommend these folks.

Straight up with me about what I needed, of course I wanted to skate w/ only paying 89 bucks but i knew better ...very fair pricing...I would recommend. All 3 techs were cool and real about my vehicles need.

Very rude. Give you the runaround, and had me drive up there for no reason just to tell me if have to leave my car overnight just for an inspection, when I called when I was on my way. The manager at the front was extremely snide. He visibly smirked and honestly didnt care, very quick to just dismiss you.

Did not communicate well

These people are crooks. do not let them work on your brakes. all they do is replace everything and charge way too much but cant even replace it right. they did not honor their lifetime warrenty. let some else that knows what they are doing replace your brakes. it will save you time and money.

I do not recommend this place at all. I went in for wheel barrings and shocks. They ended up stripping the nut to my axiel and made a temporary fix so I could drive my vehicle until the part came in. I went in Thursday and the wrong part was given so I had to come back Friday. I came in Friday and while they were putting the part in they broke my spindel so now I am out of a vehicle. Its Monday now and they are telling me the part will not be in until tomorrow. They have by now payed more in parts and labor for everything then what was paid to fix my vehicle. I do not recommend this place at all. The only good thing I have to say is the fact the manager was extremely professional about the whole matter.

Scam Artist. Told me I needed 6 month old rotors changed when all I went in for was to get brake pads changed. Guy didnt know I had rotors changed at another shop 6 months ago and when I told him he stated they must have put bad rotors on. I left getting nothing done and took car back to where I got rotors done and told them what they said. They said those guys are scammed and put on new brake pads free of charge in good faith. I took car to a 3rd shop to get a tie breaker. Paid $ 10 for a tire rotation and asked to check the brakes because I thought they where bad. They check brakes and rotors and tell me both where in great condition and neither needed changing. Just as I expected.

Trust these people, they do a great job at reasonable prices.

I would always get a second opinion, this place is gaining a reputation...Your rotors need to be replaced (beyond specs) and a caliper is seized. I have heard that twice now, and so have other people I know. I got a second opinion (twice) and another brake place just turned my rotors and installed pads. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice shame on me!There are a lot of businesses that do brakes, get a second opinion!

Friendly staff but their name is a misnomer. You can get the same service from the dealership with factory trained mechanics using OEM parts for the same price or less.
