Worst place Ive ever lived. My Tahoe got broke into, window was smashed, and the owners would not turn over camera footage. At the time it was supposed to be a secure gated community. That is farthest from the truth. The roof leaked when I was there, and the elevators always went out. Do not let them sway you and get your money. This place needs a class action lawsuit right away. I am sad I could not organize one when I stayed here. The Apple woman who owns it is a slumlord.

My apartment has been leaking with water for 4 months and the apartment complex does not care. It has gotten to the point that there is mold growing in my apartment. The manager laughs when I tell her what is going on in my apartment. Every week the manager tells me they will fix the problem but nothing ever happens. I found out the apartment has had this problem for years and they have always been aware but they do not want to spend the money to fix the apartment. This has been the worst experience and I wish I had never moved here. They have a ceiling problem that consistently leaks and the elevators consistently never work...I live on the 10th floor...it is ridiculous. Absolutely not worth the money and the new company says they will fix it but they never seem to get around to it...hmm...I am just saying haha.

Just moved here on 08/19/2021. Where do I start? Management is TERRIBLE. Never can get a hold of them. Very disorganized. I’ve been fighting a roach problem since the day I got here. Nothing is being done about it. Management does not care. DO NOT MOVE HERE! It’s so GHETTO! I wish ZERO was an option.

I stayed at an AirBnB in The Michael Apartments and it was so filthy. The air conditioner was broken, the ceiling was leaking, and the hallways looked like a prison. There was tons of trash at the end of the hallways, cracks covering the walls, and the walls are paper-thin. The elevators were covered in dirt and had tons of holes in the ceiling. I have pretty low standards for apartments (Ive lived in pretty sketchy areas) but this was horrifying.

I love living here! The place really packs a lot of bang for your buck. The location is the best part. I love being able to walk to work and for almost anything I need. The building is dog friendly and pet rent is not very expensive. The management had my lease and apartment ready fast and it was very easy moving in. I highly recommend this place if your in the market for loft style apartment living downtown. This is definitely a place for dog lovers. The manager here is the best I’ve had yet.

Stayed here with a VRBO. Building is masked with cheap repairs. Always smelled like pot throughout the building. Parking lot in back felt safe but absolutely no gates or security. Great location to downtown and restaurants in the area. Assuming all the units look the same, could always here the washer dryer combos going and lots of partying. Nothing but yelling laughing sassy rude drunk girls from 6pm-9pm then 3am-4am.

Perpetual construction and debris in the parking lot and stairwells. Little attention to cleanliness or aesthetics. Unsecured in an area of high transient/ loitering activity. Small efficiency apartments touted and priced as luxury. All the renovations have been counter-productive to improvement, most notably the uninsulated walls and metal ceilings that not only conduct sounds but amplify them. Smells like marijuana, sounds like a squeaky elevator and your neighbors most passionate moments. The light fixture in the lobby and the mosaics are nice. Dont expect to establish a relationship with office staff because it changes about once a month.

Because zero stars isnt an option. This is one of the worst apartment building I have ever lived, its worse than the dorms I stayed in at college. If you like privacy and a quiet place to live DO NOT STAY HERE!! You can literally hear everything from the conversations your neighbors have to the commotion going on in the hallways. Not to mention how the management changes monthly. During my entire 1 year lease here, there has been at least 12 different leasing managers who never know what they are talking about or anything about the building for that matter. I almost forgot...THE ELEVATORS. From the minute I moved in, they have been trying to fix the elevators and a year later they still arent fixed. What a shame. Save your coins and stay somewhere thats actually a luxury apartment because I have been counting down the days until I can finally move out!

If it looks perfect for you it probably is. The only problem I have is with other tenants. They have pretty relaxed requirements for moving in. That’s why I was initially drawn to move in because I have a dog that surpasses weight requirements at other apartments. Unfortunately, that makes it easier for people who like to leave their beer cans in the parking lot and smoke cigarettes in the lobby to get it. Also, it would be great if we could get a working gate around the parking lot before Mardi Gras because it’s going to be hell to park here during that time. There’s a lot of homeless people that hang out in the park out front but that’s down town for you. I love living here. There’s ups and down to living anywhere.

Looking forward to leaving. They’ve been promising to fix the elevator for a year now and the only working one goes down frequently.I can hear my upstairs neighbors conversationsEmails to management often go unanswered and I end up having to walk downstairs to speak to someone in person.Management cares more about money than people.I’ll give credit where it’s due: the workout room is nice to have, the upstairs patio is good for socializing. The bugs are under better control now that we have regular pest service.

I am so happy with my choice to move here! I moved in about 2 months ago and could not be HAPPIER! They have/are renovating everything but dont let that deter you from here. This place has definitely progressed from where it was even 1 year ago when I had originally visited. Amazing apartment with high ceilings, awesome views from any apartment AND. A. WASHER. AND. DRYER. IN. THE. APARTMENT. I dont care what you say... finding that downtown is HARD! Oh... and management is the sweetest youll find?? I mean, come on. Call them!!

The building from the outside is kind of sketchy but once you go in it’s really nice. The leasing manager kaelyn was really nice. But when I came back with concerns for the property management she was very rude and basically told me to pull my application because I was concerned about the homeless people living in the front. Also while viewing I could hear the conversation of someone living next door the walls are thin. Overall nice building bad money hungry management and I’ve just been updated the lady that was handling my application was dealing in fraudulent activity

The property manager is by far the nicest woman I’ve met throughout all the times I’ve leased. The newly renovated apartments are beautiful, so many cool things happening here. I’m extremely excited to be signing my lease with The Tower on Ryan Park. It’s unfortunate these apartments have a 3.3 stars currently, but I can attest that any previous negative reviews are not a direct reflection of what Laura and her new staff are implementing at this property.

I moved into Tower June of 2015 and signed up for another year lease back in July. I love the location of the Tower and the studio is a good fit for just myself. I would not recommend moving into a studio if you are going to be sharing the space with someone else. Ive had some maintenance issues that look a little while to repair but there is two new guys working that seem to be doing things in a more timely manner. Other than maintenance everything else has been wonderful. Hope this helps!

The apartment itself is very nice. However, The construction crew is obnoxious and loud. No need to set an alarm clock, the sound of hammers, saws and drills will wake you up in the morning and greet you when you get back from work. I would hesitate to rent until after the construction is completely finished.

Spoke with a tenant outside who spoke of major renovation underway. ...more like a construction zone. Tenant was frustrated, met w/some initial reluctance when reported issues, but received more helpfulness later on. Theyve removed the awning from the front and hopefully one goes back up. The little spaces off the sidewalk in front should be returned to shops or offices. A small diner, salon and bodega would be ideal! Surely the gates will be restored. Mobiles first highrise apartment building. A self-contained dwelling w/apt., garbage chute, mail, laundry, theater room & community room all under one roof + two terraces. A real gem.

We rented an apartment in The Tower while our home is under major renovations. The one bedroom apartment we have is EXACTLY what we needed for our purposes. The staff is quick to address any issues. On site laundry facilities, secure entry for residents, many units undergoing complete renovations. The location is perfect and the views from the two rooftop terraces is great. You will be a short walk from the many restaurants and attractions avaliable in downtown Mobile. If there is an apartment avaliable I would recommend The Tower on Ryan Park.

I called and received the worst customer service! The girl who answered was extremely rude and acting like a smart butt for absolutely no reason. I was as polite as could be. This staff needs to realize that a prospects first impression is how they represent their property, and this representation leads me to believe that they do not care about their tenants at all.

The truth is, the only reason why you would want to live here is because its cheap for its location, the rooftop terraces are nice, and you cant beat the location. Besides that the cons out way the pros. Just to list the problems: roaches are everywhere but mangement will claim they spray every other week, they paint over rust and mold, its very loud because your walls are so thin, managment doesnt answer phones, management will enter your room without notice, hallways on floors are never cleaned, parking gate didnt work for weeks at one point, toilet backs up with sewage at times Im not in the apartment, sink and bathroom drains sometimes. This is not to bash tower on Ryan park but to point out the problems.Update July 19,It took over 2 1/2 months to get my security deposit back. Apparently the home leasing office decided it was a good idea to send the security deposit check to my apt that I had already moved out and returned both mail and room key. And yes, I did give them a typed letter signed and dated by both me and the leasing manager. The letter also included the forwarding address and instructions pertain to the move. Because of this I had to change my rating to a 1 star. If there was a zero I would go for it. FIND ANOTHER PLACE TO LIVE!

Well let’s see, If you are young or like to live downtown. This is probably the place for you. However, you will have to put up with some of the bad reviews. I personally think that this place is OVER priced for what you get. The higher up you are in the Towers the less likely you will see the roaches and pest (its just the truth). Also, the elevator are just as old as the building 1950s. Sometimes you will have to wait for just one working. So, to cut it short...Great place to live if you like the downtown atmosphere and dont mind putting up with some minor issues.

Ryan Towers looks like a really nice place online and in the apartment brochures, but its only a deception. If I could give this place NO stars, I would. The office people are rude and lazy and the apartment as a whole is very dirty.

Location is the only positive for torp. Studios are overpriced for what you get,the only reason i settled on them is because i relocated to mobile on short notice and couldnt find anything else available in my price range. The building is infested with german cockroaches, this has been an ongoing problem they cant seem to solve. The smell of rotting garbage emanating from the trash chutes is overpowering at times, especially during summer months.(Thus the roach problem) The hallway carpets are rarely vacuumed, much less cleaned. The elevators and parking lot gate break down on a regular basis. Hedges growing along the parking lot fence are overgrown and drooping into the lot, making parking in the spots along it unusable. The place is a revolving door of management and maintenance people. If issues are addressed at all it usually takes multiple complaints. I could go on and on. That they charge $626 a month for dated, crackerbox studios with no ammenities beyond a crappy gym with busted equipment and a couple rooftop terraces is a joke. Needs a complete overhaul and lower rent. Stay away unless youre desperate and have no other option like me.

When I moved in, the apartment had new carpeting. The AC is ice cold and I have never ran out of hot water. The people that work there have always been friendly and helpful. Some of the perks of downtown living are Mardi Gras, Bayfest, and the New Years Moonpie Drop. Love the Terrace and library (you can walk to the library). I have had no problems/issues with my apartment.
