**Long review-not sorry** Why do I even have to give it a star? This place is terrible. We just left a month ago. It was fine before they switched owners in like August of last year. After that I started getting calls twice a month about late rent. I was never late. One time they put my rent on the wrong apartment, so I would have paid someone elses rent. Another time I couldnt get the woman from the office to understand that I (a 26yo female) was not the man she was trying to call. Another time she called because we gave the manager our check and she didnt see it on her desk, instead of asking the manager about it, she wouldnt listen to us. She is honestly the most incompetent person I have ever dealt with. Once my lease ended in Jan they kept telling me that I would have to move into a renovated unit, and that my rent would go up around $60/month. I found out from a few new renters that they were paying less than me when they moved into the renovated units, because they had recently signed, but mine had to go up apparently. THEY WERE GOING TO CHARGE ME MORE FOR RE-SIGNING A LEASE. Also, they did not inform me that they did not provide renters insurance like the previous owners, they just kept cashing a separate check each month, with a service listed on it that they werent providing. I confronted them to hear that it was now for building fees whatever that may mean. I heard that even in their new lower pricing for new signers, they include water in rent for like $50 more per month or something(?) dont pay that much. Do your water separate. It will only be around max $40/month. Lastly (I cant even include everything), the maintenance is awful. When we could FINALLY get them to come fix something, they would ruin something else. They tried to fix our dishwasher (after 3 months of calling), said it wasnt fixable, broke the upstairs light messing with the fuse box, never came to fix the light or replace the dishwasher. Seriously, believe all of the reviews, this place is a dumpster fire.

If I could leave zero stars, I would. Do not waste a penny on this place, they won’t answer your phone calls or emails or maintenance requests. The amenities advertised are not available, ever.

These apartments are managed by people who dont communicate nor keep their word to people. If youre looking for an apartment where youre told that youll receive a call and are constantly left waiting, or have your files lost then sign up! Theyre really good at not being very good.

We have lived here for about a month. Our microwave didn’t work from the start, one of the cabinets in the kitchen was broke off the hinges, 2 days into being here our washer went out and now our dishwasher won’t work. We pay almost $1000 a month and all of these things still have not been fixed after us complaining to the office multiple times. They told us our things would be put on a high priority list and that they would give us a call no later than a week. We still haven’t gotten that call. When we asked them when we could get our mailbox key so we can get our bills and our mail they said we should have gotten it the week we moved in when i went to ask a few days ago she was so rude about it and said I shouldn’t have come asked until they called and said it was ready to get. Some of the staff is kind and helpful but most are just plain rude.

The rent is okay, but thats about the only real upside here. The apartments are poorly maintained and the fixtures/appliances are old and malfunction often. The AC units can barely keep your apartment below 80 on a hot summer day, and if you complain theyll usually just tell you to change your filter. It took nearly a month to get a working refrigerator after mine died. Management has changed approximately 3 times in two and a half years, although some of the office staff was retained and they are very nice and helpful people. If you have limited options it might work, but do yourself a favor and look elsewhere if you want to live comfortably.

Honestly, dealing with this apartment complex has been a horrible experience. The staff is unprofessional, lack communication skills, and unknowledgeable. The complex doesn’t deserve a 1 star. Beware

Run, Run, Run for your life!! It’s been raining in my apartment since I have moved here!! It’s not right!! They keep giving me the RUN AROUND! I don’t recommend this place to anyone, not even a homeless person!

These apartments are not worth the money that they are asking for. I stayed at park west for a year. Too many maintenance issues, and walls are paper thin. These apartments are old, however they do have newer modeling in some, but building 1 is a no. Save yourself from the trouble. Also if you have allergies, this is definitely not the place for you to many problems pertaining to mold and dust.

Maintenance is HORRIBLE & UNGODLY SLOW!!! Takes forever and a day to resolve a problem you have acquired in your apartment. I guarantee if you did this with your rent they would feel the same way and remove you from your residence ASAP.

I dont know where to begin. My ceiling in the bathroom is falling and was reported over a year ago not 1or 2 times but 3. I have tile that is coming off the shower wall and was reported over a year and a half ago at least 3 times. My ceiling fan in the living room doesnt work and has also been reported already 2 times. The toilet kinda flushes meaning number 2s can take 3 flushes and has been reported. My stoves large burners wont work on low. The cabinets are falling apart and the paint is plastic paint/Vanier or whatever it is that covers the doors came off and I ended up painting it myself because they wouldnt fix it. The few times in 4 years maintenance has been in they do some shady work. Thankfully its finally almost over. My lease ends in February and I already turned my notice in. Cant wait to get out of this place. From what Im told they are forcing everyone to move to new apartments when their lease is up because they are remodeling as they go. So I assume they are refusing to do anything to the units not remodeled (lol they put up back splash and are wanting 120 more a month) just horrible.

The 2 bedrooms are spacious but the management sucks. Nothing is ever really fixed just placed with a bandaid until it breaks again. Unprofessionalism at its finest. Definitely deserves 0 stars

My 11yr old daughter and I are packing our apartment in 85 degree temp. It’s currently 92 degrees outside. I’ve called emergency maintenance 5 times. Received 1 response and was told he was on the way almost 2 hours ago.

Dont live here, they ruined my credit score.My husband and I got a short term lease here while we were waiting to purchase a house. Our apartment was cute, and simple. However, if you are sensitive to smoke, do not live here. I have asthma and can not be around smoke. After two months of living here we were forced to move out. They would not drop our contracted time even though the maintenance department said that a smokers vent system was leaking into our vent system. When I tried to explain that this is what I was told, I was called a lier by the manager of the property and completely disregarded. Legally, they did not uphold their end of the agreement by providing a healthy living environment and for health issues I could not live there.Long story short, I should not have to pay a couple thousand for an unlivable apartment. Especially when it forced us to move out and pay for another apartment. Horrible experience and I wont even into how uncomfortable I felt walking to and from my car at night, as well as the noise level.

Their office staff is some of the most hateful people I have ever heard of! The Maintenance Crew is slower than any I have ever seen. 3 different problems including no air when the thermostat said 86 IN THE HOUSE. They got aggravated that my daughter complained about it. DO NOT MOVE HERE. They are HORRIBLE!!!

If I could give zero stars, I would. This complex has been sold at least 5 times since we moved here 7 years ago. They go up on rent every year. They never improve anything. The maintenance can not do their job correctly, the office people so not answer your calls. They lie to you on a regular basis. They never have enough help and they hide behind their phones and screen your calls. They will shut your water off without notice.

Very clean, friendly staff. Maintenance comes when u call and are very quick and efficient. U can pay your rent on line and they REALLY work to get u in as a tenant. I’ve been here 3 months and i love it 😍

I lived at Park West for a little over a year and enjoyed it. My townhouse was nicely renovated with new carpet, crown molding, and black appliances. The property was always quiet, and Michelle was amazing. She knew me by name, face, and career, which made me feel more than just a tenant. The only reason I gave four stars instead of five is because of their washer/dryer setup. The apartments either come with an extremely small stackable washer/dryer, or nothing at all, meaning no connections either. Having such a small washer/dryer was an inconvenience because I had to pretty much wash everyday. If that’s something that won’t bother you, and you’re okay with the on-site laundry facility or any other laundromat, it’s a great place to live!

I am currently a resident here. I am having mixed feelings on signing another years lease. Since I have moved in Michelle, in the front office has been absolutely wonderful. She has gone over and beyond to assist me in every way she could. Every time I go into to office she is always so friendly. She has always tried to help me with problems I have had. She has sent maintenance to fix several things in my apartment. The problem is they dont come or when they do they have never completed or fixed not one thing. They say they will return and never do. The maintenance and other staff members need to be as helpful, kind and dedicated to making residents make this a good place to call home as Michelle is. I have spoke with the other ladies in the office and they are so unfriendly and just rude. They just blow off your concerns. On several occasions they have told me they would get back to me and they never do. . These apartments could be so much better if all the staff would pay closer attention to details. This could be a really nice place to live if they would address even the smallest things. I was assured months ago that with the new management it would get better.. but it hasnt.

Michelle deserves a some appreciation for the hard work, she give, for the people she moves 100 miles per hour working for you, if want move into a nice place come park west owners, shes really putting in work, and Im thankful for her being help with my transitions.. call ask for Michelle I promise you will be treated fairly,.

What can i say they do keep up the lawn. The inside of the apartments are not up to date mosquitoes everywhere mainly because they use the pine tree leaves as decorations. You can not take a nice walk without getting bit .. Dont come home with your a.c. less than 72 degrees you will have visitors big flying cockroaches.. All and all nice outside but pools are not good at all.

Park West is a nice place. Friendly leasing staff, maintenance is fast and efficient, and my neighbors are pleasant enough. Park trail access, washer/dryer units, two pools. I feel safe outside at night. My only complaints would be the lack of storage space in certain units, and the high rent.. But in the end, its worth the peace of mind.

The staff there are quite friendly! They extended there hand in my time of need! Without a second thought. Especially Michelle. She’s super . Very patient. Very understanding. Helped me change locations of my unit do to my health. From up stairs to downstairs. The units I visited were clean and neat! So thanks to the staff . Also melissa. Good job guys . Keep up the good work

Very quiet and friendly neighbors, pool area and courtyard is always clean and well maintained . The leasing staff is pleasant and very accommodating, and the maintenance guys are very efficient. This is a nice place to call home.

Where do I start with these people. The office workers are rude and misleading. I have a family of 4 that includes a 3 month old and the upstairs neighbor run and bang all thru the night and they have yet to address them about it. Maintenance doesnt show up to fix things, not even things from the list u give them back when I first move in. They include fees to your rent and wont take rent without the fees as if your not paying rent. Also remember these fees werent explained when asked about them before signing the lease. Michelle and Melissa in the front office should be fired simply from the way they conduct business. Putting innocent families through financial issues and they could care less. Were turning our keys in. PERIOD!!

I love it here so quiet and everyone is very friendly and I absolutely love Ms Michelle in the front office any issue I have had she has went above and beyond to fix absolutely recommend when you come ask for Michelle

Stuck in a lease right now. Sad to say I wish I could give 0 stars. Rip off residents with extremely high power bills and hidden fees. Then maintenance comes to ‘fix’ the issues only to have the next month’s bill come back even higher. 0/10, wouldn’t recommend

BAIT AND SWITCH. Do NOT apply for an apartment here. I met with Michelle Kircharr, paid seventy-five dollars for an application fee and put a hundred dollar hold on an apartment. I was immediately called back and told someone just walked in and put a hold on that apartment, but we have another one just like it for thirty dollars more. Riiiiiiight. So after finding another apartment for an agreed upon price, I was told it didnt have a washer and dryer like the one I had a hold on... Then they said they had one with a washer and dryer but it was yet again more money than the agreed upon price. I HAVE A LEGAL HOLD ON THE APARTMENT IN FRONT OF ME. They refuse to refund me my application fees and were very rude.

Please do not move here they mouth is smart in the office and they want fix nothing all they want is your money I wish I never moved here 😫..what’s the purpose of getting an apartment with a washer and dryer in they want fix it when it’s broken.i can’t wait til my leasee is up.these people in the office crockets I’m warning y’all stay away because they will mess u up 😫.please do not stay in apartment 340 is a leak thru the pipes and our water bill been high since we move there we just got our water bill for last month in it’s 206 just for water and sewage.

Would love to get this place 0 stars. Ive lived here for 3 years, and the only reason is because when I moved in they had free pet rent, and they let me keep it every time I renewed my lease. The management here sucks, if you do not have your rent paid on the 3rd of every month they charge you $50. They never fix anything in your apartment, they just rig it so it will work. They changed their name thinking it would make them look better, but it doesnt. During the summer, the pool is constantly dirty. They have people repainting the outside of the apartments, but what about the inside?? The window in my master bedroom has leaked when it rains for about a year now, but no one has fixed it.

Great place. Clean grounds. Quite minus when people are just coming home from school/work. Only part I dont like is how our upstair neighbor constantly stomping around up there but I guess thats apartment living. Would recommend to friends or family. Price is good and worth it. Just wish the second pool was useable like the main one by the leasing office. Matience is always prompt and fast to fix whatever problems we have in out apartment

Overpriced ! I pay $879 for a 2br apartment that is INFESTED with roaches ! I have complained over and over again. No one has been to spray on the inside even though “pest” is included in the rest ! Wouldn’t recommend.

That one star goes to JB who works in the front office. Otherwise, Im dissappointed in the fact that my rent has gone up by $50 a year over the past two years ($100 a month more) when things kept breaking in my unit. I checked three sites including the Parkwest site. My 1B,1B is priced higher than the 2B2B on all three sites. It doesnt add up to me. Maintenance is quick to give surface repairs. I suffered in the heat last summer and winter until a few months ago, one guy gave me a new thermostat. In two years I had a water heater catch fire, a bad AC setup, a door randomly fall off the hinges, cabinets falling off the hinges, a main breaker that was so worn my power kept cutting off at random hours (cold showers and no heat in the middle of the night because the outside breaker would trip at 2am), a chain smoking neighbor whose fumes leaked into my unit and made my apartment reek. My showerhead...I didnt even bother calling for that I got bought a new one and changed it myself.

This place is T.E.R.R.I.B.L.E! The management team is ridiculous and things seem to never get fixed. It took 5 days just for them to come and fix my water heater. It is well overpriced and not worth wasting your time or money! STAY AWAY!
