I don’t normally make a review and I usually just deal with it. I left the salon at 4:48pm it’s now 6:07pm and I am already missing a huge chunk of nail polish. I really hate to leave bad reviews. This is ridiculous tho. Only plus side was they were both hilarious. I only paid 35 so I mean get what you pay for I guess, use your own judgment on the reviews.

I didn’t realize we paid you to get our feelings hurt? What is up with you guys? Seriously you guys had the sweetest girl come in for a set and treated her terribly. It’s 2021. Get your act together and treat your customers better or you’re not going to last. Do better. Be better.

I have always had great experiences here and love the owners. Its always inviting and they go out of their way to do what is asked.

So, i really wanted a pedicure today and my usual places were super busy so I decided to try out this place, the people are nice but I think a 5 year could have done a better job. I got a gel pedicure and there is polish all over my skin, it’s lumpy and uneven, guarantee it will lift in the next day or so. Besides that the pedicure isn’t anything special very basic. I appreciate them squeezing me in but they weren’t as busy as everyone else for a reason. Bc they suck. I was reading reviews as I was soaking and the bad ones are definitely true. I hate leaving bad reviews, if you don’t have anything nice to say then don’t say anything is my general rule of thumb BUT it’s that bad guys. Don’t do it, just wait

Luv, Luv their work! Dan and Meme are professional and enjoy what they do. Ive never had a bad Pedi or manicure. Highly recommend

I personally have not been to this place but I am writing a review on behalf of my beloved girlfriend. First off, whatever business decides that bullying their anxiety ridden customers constantly over their nails then forcing them to a certain style of nail/color, in my eyes, is beyond poor business practice. On top of that, they made her pay the full price after forcing her into a design and color she did not like. Also, the prices they advertise are not the prices they charge, nor do they warn you of a price increase based off the nail type or design you receive. If I could, I would give negative star, these guys are the worst nail place in Missoula, Montana. I would much rather go to a back alley drug addict to get my nails done than this place.TL;DR These guys blow, and they blow hard. Too hard, to where it hurts a little and you wish you could get back the last 15 minutes of your life.

When I left they were still wet. He wouldnt stop talking. There was still nail polish on my nails when I left. It took forever! And the owner had his mask below his nose most of the time. They forced a design on me that j didnt want.

I am visiting from Florida and searched over and over for a new salon to do a fill in, and be my new salon when Im moved here in a few months. I LOVED my nail professionals, they were AMAZING! One picture is what I wanted ( flat hand) the other is what I got( hand curled). Terrible experience, it took forever. The OWNER did it and he refused to wear a mask. Had gel all over my hands. Was rude. Acted like I was crazy when they were chipping and falling off the next day and I came back and asked for a refund. He also put acetone repeatedly on my skin even after I told him it was burning. Go else where and spend the money to have it done correctly.... my nails are so ruined from this experience I can’t even have them re-done. To make things worse he also had me wait for over an hour in the middle of doing mine to fix his friend who came in for free while I was stuck there waiting with my young children. When my daughter was crying he told me she must be hungry.... and to feed her some candy from his candy bowl... she was crying cuz she was stuck there for more then two hour and was scared of the owner and the way he was treating me.

I absolutely love this place. I am new to Missoula and tried this place for the first time a couple months ago. Since then I’ve had 3 different nail techs doing my nails here and every single one of them has done an outstanding job. They do exactly what you ask for and very friendly and professional. If you aren’t satisfied when you leave I think it’s all on the customer because if you tell them exactly what you want done they will do it perfectly the way you ask. Be specific and if it’s not the way you want then they will change it to the way you want, all the negative reviews on here I personally think are either because the customer didn’t specify or speak up if something was done incorrectly or because they’re just negative people in general. This is the best nail place I have been to in Missoula and I will always choose this place before any other nail salon!! They’re amazing. 5 stars for sure! Plus great prices :)

What a super salon! It looked so beautiful and inviting when I walked by that I had to walk in. And Im glad I did. Beautiful music and the smell of hot tea made the place feel like an oasis from the noisy street. The staff was SO friendly and accommodating! I ended up getting a foot massage, which was really awesome.While getting the foot massage, I heard several ladies saying the manicures they had just gotten were the best they had ever had. One lady said she had followed the owner from her previous salon and was now driving all the way across town for her manicures. In fact, she said she would never let anyone else do her nails; they were that good!I recommended this place to the ladies in my family, and they went. And they confirmed how good Montana Nails really is; they said this was the best manicure they had ever had! Wow! Pretty impressive.Its wonderful to have such a classy and talented manicure team in the neighborhood.

My nails were uneven and they did one coat of paint so they were also see-through and thin. They charged me an arm and a leg for it too. Literally the worst nail salon I have ever been to. Not to mention they are rude and made my hands bleed with how rough they were being. Do not go here. Would give 0 stars if I could

Oh my god this place is terrible!! I went spontaneously and theres acrylic all over my fingers and my nails look absolutely horrible. Theyre all different directions, lumpy, uneven and different shapes lol this place is an actual joke. I tried being nice and giving him the benefit of the doubt but i will never be returning to this salon. Whoever got those purple nails in the reviews, i wish i got who you did because im so upset that im actually giving my money to these people.

Perhaps the best nail experience I have ever had. Top notch and classy! The environment is welcoming, clean, neat and amazing. The staff is friendly. They have the cleanest set up I have ever seen. I normally am uncomfortable at nail salons. They seem rushed and chaotic. This is the best service I have ever had from the minute I walk in to when I left. The technician I had - Mimi - was amazing! I highly recommend this place.

Absolutely worst nails I’ve ever had done. Super messy, polish was all over my fingers, glue was everywhere. A complete disappointment and waste of money.

Easily one of the absolute worse nail fills I’ve had in over 20 years of having my nails done. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!

Staff was friendly. I did not feel like they were rushing me through. I was visiting from out of town and had one of my nails fall off, so I stopped in for a repair and quick fill. Because my nails were in such poor shape and very thick, they went ahead and removed my old ones and started over. Did a good job with the pink and white I prefer, and instructed me on how to ask for a pink and white fill in the future. Very reasonably priced. I will definitely go back next time I am in the area.

My first time here today and I love what did. She took her time and made sure it was done how I wanted. Shes VERY good at doing designs even if shes never done it before, shell take it on and do a great job. Love it, thank you again ! See you in a few weeks

We Love Montana Nail Salon! Its clean, unpretentious, affordable and relaxing. My family has been coming here for years. We love the husband and wife duo from Vietnam and they feel like family at this point. If you dont want to pay the $60 that some other bougie nail salons in town charge, skip it and come here!

Mimi did an amazing job with my pedicure and polish update to my previous manicure. Excellent service plus she gave awesome recommendations for local things to do while I was visiting the area. I had a wonderful experience.

The people were nice but the lady I had seemed inexperienced and the man there swapped her out after she poked my toe. Very worried about getting an infection. Will add to this post in the future if any problems arise. It was great getting in without a wait, but will not be returning in the future.

The costumer service was good but I didn’t even have My Acrylic on for two days and the top coats started to crack, along with on of the nails is already starting to come off. Not thrilled

I have been coming here for 13 years. I think Dan and Meme are wonderful people. They do a great job for me. I get a pedicure once a month as I get ingrown toenails. They are always accommodating, friendly, and their prices are very reasonable. And i have the prettiest toes in town!

They do an amazing job and I am never dissatisfied with my nails. The staff is very friendly and it is very clean. Highly recommended. Ive already recommended them to some of my friends!

First and LAST time I will go there. Just AWFUL. I went in there knowing just what I wanted. I wanted short nails and my nails was not even the same lengths! The whole time the guy wanted to argue with me how I should have my nails, spacing off and he just made up his own design how he thinks it should look.. I was in the salon for a total of 2 hours! for a single set of acrylics! long story short, I went right to a different salon and had them take it off and redo all of it for me. It was so bad the other place asked me where I got them done with a sour look on their faces. I expressed to everyone NOT to go to Montana nail salon. BAD. BAD. BAD!

Montana Nail Salon is fabulous, very clean, and professional. Its an actual place where you can go and relax, unlike all the overly crowded, noisy nail spots in Missoula. The prices are decent, there is a large array of polishes in every shade, and my regular manicures usually last over a week. Ask for Mimi, shes the best at everything.

This place does not observe distancing or masks. Avoid.

My friend and I hade a TERRIBLE experience at this establishment. Extremely rude service that made fun of our suggestions of what we wanted. I couldn’t believe these people’s attitudes and the way they treat their customers. I couldn’t believe I wasted that much money on that kind of service. Not to mention the shop is absolutely filthy and smells like cigarette smoke. I will never go here again, and I will never recommend this place to ANYONE. Save your money, and save yourselves. Good god this place should be condemned.

Dan and Mimi are an awesome couple and team. I dont ever have to go in with an idea for nail design I just tell Dan to have fun and he always comes up with fansatic ideas and I always get complaints on how great my nails look. Mimi helps him decided on design sometimes if she is there. But highly recommend going here.

If I could rate ZERO stars, I would. The most unprofessional and horrible experience I have ever had. I came in for an acrylic fill for my friends wedding. I was the only client there and the owner was the only employee working. As if that wasn’t uncomfortable enough, he had the audacity to have the tv show “Naked and Afraid” playing on the Discovery Channel. Great. I tried to tell him that I wanted square nails and he proceeded to tell me, “I make them natural and nice looking honey, I do this for 20 years.” They turned out anything but square at all. In the meantime he start taking personal calls and checking his laptop. Attempted to tell me allllll the reasons why I am not married yet and my friend is getting married. As he finished one nail, he asked if that was square enough and I said “no it’s slanted please make it square and even.” He then said “no honey your fingers are slanted and uneven.” He did the worst nails I have ever had, even after I told him two hundred and fourty nine times exactly how I wanted them. He cut them way too short, left acrylic pieces under my nails, the tips were completely uneven, my thumbs look like I have Chiclets on them, he flooded my cuticles with polish, and never evened the nails out. Long story short, a woodchipper could have done a better job.

Very Poor Customer service. Not only did my manicure take forever but it is by far the worst manicure I have ever had. I will not be coming back nor will I recommend to any of my friends.

This place is horrible and i will never ever suggest this place. They seem all nice but the do not know how to do nails. My daughter and her friend went in to get their nails done and my daughter showed me she had acrylic on her actual fingers and then one of yhe nails was cracked. The nail polish looked like it was olf and needed to be thrown away. The guy refused to giver her a refund buy once I said I will report their company yhen he agreed to take the nails off and giver my daughter her money back. Terrible place, bad customer services and they should not be able to continue to do nails.

This is my new go-to nail salon! The decor is very pleasant, smells nice inside (some salons have a really bad chemical odor), staff is extremely friendly and has real talent! The price of the shellac is slightly higher than I would like to pay but the service is outstanding and my manicure lasted more than three weeks. Worth it!

I just love this place they do a great job on pedicures and your nails my daughter goes to it my granddaughter in law goes to it its just a nice place and the people are wonderful

What a nightmare !! Went in for a manicure and left with throbbing, painful fingers. In my 60 years I have never had such a horrible horrible nail experience. When somebody gives you a manicure or pedicure and it hurts, it’s a total nightmare and it adds to your stress level and high blood pressure, and all you want to do is leave and never look back. Among other things, I will report this little salon to the BBB and the Commerce dept., they should definitely not be in business. They need to be checked out and see if they are certified and comply with all the rules of such a business. Do not, repeat NOT go there unless you want to end up in the doctors office.

This is my first time at a day spa and I am very comfortable when this service stands out, I feel like a princess

I love Montana Nails! I live in the area and am so happy I found them. The girls are so nice and welcoming, and are really good at getting you in for a walk-in or call ahead. The prices are SO reasonable for the amazing quality. I get gel manis and pedis and they havent chipped yet. I have never left a google review before but feel as though I need to so no one ever wastes their money here!! Do not go here!! Ever. I just paid 35 dollars and left with a bleeding nail and my cuticles are so dry and chipping off! The guy was nodding off while cleaning my cuticles and painting. They didnt even put lotion on my hands! I have had a million manicures in my life and this is by far the worst one Ive ever had.

Dan and Mimi do a great job, and have a nice little salon. They accept walk-ins or you can make an appointment (either way they will squeeze you in).

Worst experience I have ever had! Never been so unhappy about my nails! As soon as I left I went somewhere else to have them fixed. It took over an hour and a half for a ful set of pink and whites the shape was horrible, not smooth and he complained about how it was my fault that the acrylic was so think!

Worst nail salon Ive ever been to. My fingers are infected. Sat for 3 hours and I still had to go elsewhere to get them fixed and taken off. I expressed my dissatisfaction halfway through and asked to leave and Dan (the owner) made excuses and blamed my nails for growing crookedly and being flat, insisted on fixing them, and wouldnt let me go. You should go to any other nail salon.

They r fast but great and always friendly I love going to them. When I come back here to see friends n family n I want my nails done this is where I go

Stop in today to get my daughters nails done! Never again the guy wanted to tell her she didnt know what she wanted and they were awful when done. Polish was bumpy and nails were not even. Had to go to the mall and have them fixed and repainted! Go where you know!

Went here knowing exactly what I wanted. I get there he got me in I explained what I wanted he said oh yeah dont worry I can do that even showed him a picture. For some reason he did not agree on the sport length that I wanted and continued to make rude comments about how short nails dont look good and basically if I was smart I wouldve gotten long nails through my whole time there. I work with children and thats not an option for me. Ive gotten the sport length since I was in high school and have never had someone who I was paying make me feel so disrespected. The shape was just terrible. I sat under lights waiting for my nails the dry for over 30 minutes and they still smeared anyways I was really confused because it was good nail polish I just think too much was applied, at one point while I was in there he even told another paying customer her nail look so bad when I wasnt looking and so when he wasnt looking they let me know because they were disappointed and his customer service. I almost feel embarrassed for him because he knew how bad his work was and was trying to play it off. Two of my nails broke by the time I got home. I recommend taking your money elsewhere.

I didnt notice at the time but corners of my toes where the nail should be are sore in spots, bleeding from being cut, and my gel polish is a disaster, not painted in spots and processed and attached to my skin in most spots, had to pick it off and now parys of toe nail paint are missing. Also missing paint on some edges and have some nail marks where she tried to clean it up. Wont be coming back because of this but everyone was extremely nice. Only reason im giving 3 stars instead of one. For 45 dollars I expect exceptional service for a basic gel pedicure.Thanks

The product they used for my acrylic nails was very cheap, they broke off within a week and they were uneven also. Very nice people but poor quality

Bad experience. Gel polish had chunKS in it and it was the gel you buy at walmart. Was there for 2.5 hour and only my mom got her toes done.
