The Missoula YMCA is a place that I always feel welcome and included. The facility is well-maintained and clean. I am always greeted by a friendly face, their staff is high quality and the variety of classes and activities allow me to be flexible with my schedule. I also love that the Y is a great resource for the Missoula community!
The Missoula Y is such a great place! The staff is always super helpful and friendly. The instructors bring their all to the classes and offer the proper tips and modifications for participants if needed. And the Missoula Y always seems to buzz with activity of happy clients. Wouldnt have it any other way!
We love our local YMCA. The staff is always so friendly and welcoming. They do a great job of maintaining the facility and keeping it clean. Not only is it a great place to workout, but it is a place that your whole family can feel like they belong!
I work at the Y but not for the Y! I am everywhere and everyday see so many things that make me happy! I see Rebecca, a Y Member, helping a young woman from another country understand which classes she might want to take! I hear Bill giving words of encouragement to anyone and everyone who comes in, sometimes in song! I see groups of ladies walking with each other leaving swim class, and checking on one another outside of the Y! Dennis is everywhere giving pep talks! Maintenance is amazing hard working guys! I feel that even though I dont work for the Y, the staff is willing to listen to my opinions and suggestions to make things better! I have met so many wonderful clients and staff there! the Y makes me feel I matter, is my second family! Best job I have ever had, my only complaint is sometimes my work cuts into my social time at the Y!!!
This YMCA does AMAZING things for our community! Grateful for all the programs they offer that benefit so many of our friends and neighbors. Our family has been greatly blessed through the YMCA.
The Missoula Y is awesome! I miss going their everyday, and all of the wonderful staff! Working at the Y is an amazing experience, so I hope others get the chance to experience all the Y has to offer too!
Super gym, great knowledgeable staff, staff keeps clients safe with all the sanitation! From the front door greeting by the staff and departing we feel special and the trainers are are excellent 👍 Chuck, Pat and Dennis upstairs always there to help. Thanks Y 👍 Bob and JoAnne Church
The Missoula YMCA is a wonderful place with a great staff that does so much for so many in our community! Missoula is lucky to our local YMCA!
Love the Missoula Y! Best spinning and yoga rooms in town!
I needed to access some of their services though I am visiting from out of state and it was easy to do so and they went out of their way to help me.
Friendly, competent, and caring staff. Everyone is helpful. I enjoy the people I have met while taking classes and working out.
Always helpful staff whenever I call about with questions with all their programs!
The Missoula YMCA is a great place with an important place in the community. They support youth sports and folks like myself with disabilities. I am grateful for the people and equipment. Thanks!
Love the staff and facility!
This place is poorly managed. The staff is rude and completely clueless. The management refuses to help members find the information they need. The facilities are disgusting and the safety is a joke. I encourage anyone who is looking for a membership to go the Source instead. They are much cheaper, better staffed and much nicer. The Missoula Family YMCA is the worst YMCA I have ever seen. That is saying something as I have been to a lot.
The frontdesk team is great now
Very friendly staff. Facility is clean and well maintained. I live this experience. I started water aerobics and am absolutely loving it. I would highly recommend.
Been a member of the ymca for 6 years. I’m revoking my membership and finally moving on from this disgusting place.
It was ok feelt like there was tons of stuff going on i just wanted to work on me basketball but there was something going on in the gym i think
Ive been a member for over 10 years and the Y is amazing. Great staff, great facilities, and great classes. Never had a bad experience!
I hit the gym almost every day. I go to classes and I work out - a requirement for an aging vet, who needs it. Theres a pool, a good sauna, and a hot tub for those times when I need a little extra TLC. I enjoy the blend of all ages and types. The YMCA makes an improvement in so many lives: children, athletes, working families, and seniors. So many great programs are operating all day, every day - I always get a lift from being there.
The Missoula YMCA is a second home to my family for 30 years now!! With every change it just keeps getting better! 3 of us have worked there! Love the YMCA! Hollinger Family
The YMCA soccer program is the biggest joke . You pay $56 for four or five games and play the same teams over and over again and the best part about it is the coaches who don’t even bother to show up to practice. That may be more specific to my sons team this season.
I have not seen such a community place. Feels used, much like a municipal park or pool. I was concerned watching a group of children swim, without what looked like enough supervision. The young lifeguards were doing their other duties for the most part.
Way too many KKK members that work there. Dont go if youre African American, Mexican, Italian, Cuban, Russian, Chinese, Japanese, homeless, smart, not lazy, or wish to do anything productive with your life. As far as the KKK members that work out there, theres not a lot of KKK members that are willing to get off the couch. A lot of them are fat diabetics, so dont worry too much about them working out there, though some of them do go there to spy on the women and sometimes the little boys in the locker room. They have a family friendly locker room, where anybody can just walk in there, so that attracts them even more
Went in to take a shower. The staff at the front desk was helpful and full of smiles. She helped switch my membership to nationwide, then pointed me to the locker rooms. Water was warm, facilities were clean. Only spent about a half hour there total, but it was decent.
The best. The administrative staff is always polite and courteous. The personal trainers aided me in losing 100 pounds. Always a friendly atmosphere. The other members are always willing to give a spot.Update 07/09/2020, refused to give a refund but a credit for my kids camp. We cited potential medical reasons and concerns and still refused to issue a refund. Even in the midst of a pandemic refused to give a refund on membership for 30 days. Definitely makes you wonder about their financial status, seems to be going under or just greedy.
We take our daughter to camp at the Y and the camps are amazing. The facilities are always clean and the staff and very attentive and kind. They also put on alot of community events, love the YMCA!
Neat Y. No real complaints, except that the clientele was surly and indifferent. I have no idea why. It just felt very.... un-Y-like.. however.....The front desk guys were outstanding. Super helpful and supportive. Friendly and conversational. The polar opposite, in fact, of the members! Go figure! The facility was in reasonably good repair, although under some construction. The mens locker room, unfortunately, was abysmal. With towels on the floor and various pieces of workout garb and sneaker accoutrements scattered everywhere. Also, no paper towels. The wellness center seemed well put together, the equipment in good condition and modern as well. Everything seemed clean, bright, and inviting. Although I never did see any staff there. Not that I needed any, its just reassuring to see.All in all, a slightly above-average YMCA experience. I just wish their members would cheer up a little bit. Seize the day!
Good place but would not recommend. They charge up the ass when the source gym is non contract and cheaper. The e cash flow they run payments through charges 63 dollars if you are unable to pay the monthly fee directly at the beggining of the month. The staff are nice but have no idea whats going on.
This is a great place. The staff is very friendly and always make me feel welcome. The facilities are remarkable.
The that i now that work at the YMCA are very nice people
Great for adults. Nothing for kids unless you want to spend big bucks.
Stop charging me membership fees, you arent even open!!!
Home of my Missoula YMCA swim team, I have spent many a morning at this place. Good remodel a few years ago.
Have the rudest people and the absolutly rudest employees. They are all terrible drivers who will cut you off from their parking lot and then go 15 the rest of the way in the 35 mile-per-hour Zone I would never go here I do not suggest anybody to go here incredibly rude and people drive illegally because its the YMCA.
Not good equipment for what you have to spend. If theres more than 10 people lifting there is no room in the gym.
The head person of the daycare in the Palmer building area really needs to fix her attitude. Instead of doing nothing, she needs to actually do her job.
The pool is nice but the showers are badly in need of a renovation.
Family friendly, cozy and cost effective!
The staff does not sure times for open gym and we need more open gym.
Not a Christian based company laid off our whole household to hire an outside company . Thanks to them we wont be having holidays this year.
The WORST PEOPLE EVER!!!!
Awesomeness
