From the free quote, honest pricing and friendly, professional staff, everything was taken care of perfectly from start to finish. We had a big, beautiful, very dead ash tree - with branches over our yard and house. The tree made us nervous with how the branches were positioned. Bugg Tree Care is an insured company, and the guys were knowledgeable and incredibly skilled. We felt so well taken care of and everything went smoothly. 12/10 recommend if you’re looking for talented, personable, efficient care.

I had a full healthy dogwood tree in the front of my house in July 2020. I needed some tree work to be done including a tree removal. At the same time, I asked that some bushes be pruned. I was leery of asking to have the dogwood pruned because I had been warned about 10 years ago that pruning could be very harmful to the tree. I asked Bugg about that and they were not concerned. I agreed to have the dogwood pruned but very lightly. Since Bugg did the work, the tree has failed and has evidently died, falling down from the base which has rotted. I asked Bugg to come out to look at it, see if it could be saved, with only a single limb still standing, and to discuss why this healthy tree failed so catastrophically over one year and after the company did the limited pruning. I have called several times. The owner stopped by but didnt get out of his car and sent me an invoice saying it was storm damage and asking for $400. I called again to say this was not storm damage it was damage done by their work of a year ago. I have been assured twice more that the owner would come by again and call me. He has not. If the tree had shown signs of disease or otherwise, Bugg should have noted that and alerted me to that fact before it was pruned. There were no obvious signs of any problem with the tree. I dont know what happened but I do not think Bugg knows either. I will not trust their judgment again. Their failure to even acknowledge the possibility they did something wrong is also troubling.

They dont just do trimming and removal! I got my camera drone stuck in a tree and decided to give them a call on a whim since theyve done cat rescues in the past. Colin was nice enough to take time out of his day to help me out! Hes a super nice guy and obviously very passionate about what he does. Ill absolutely be recommending him and his teams services to anybody interested.

Removed two very large trees from between two homes. The work was tricky and could have been dangerous. The crew was on time, incredibly careful to protect the homes and the people involved. Also managed to remove everything with no damage to the yards even though the ground was wet. Friendly, on-time, safe, professional, efficient. Will absolutely use them next time we need work on our trees!

I am really impressed with the skill of this team. They know how to really take care of trees right, and they do it the way that is best. Instead of using big machinery (which can tear up your yard) and cutting arbitrary branches off, they use ropes to climb the trees and they carefully choose which branches are the right ones to cut. Theyre clearly passionate about the work they do. Its also amazing to watch!

From the initial site assessment, through estimate prep and scheduling, and final removal and clean-up, the work performed by Bugg Tree Care was simply exceptional. Our project involved a very large tree in a very tight spot next to and overhanging our home and that of our neighbors. We used Bugg Tree Care to remove a dead ash tree from our back yard. The two men who showed up were very prompt and very efficient. They were able to do the entire job with out heavy machinery which was great. We were really impressed with the entire process and the fact that they were able to do the work with hand saws, chain saws and just by climbing the tree. The price to remove the tree was super reasonable and we would not hesitate to recommend Bugg Tree Care to our friends and neighbors.

Bugg Tree Care took down a huge old tree that was leaning into our house and making it creak when the wind came up. Scary! They were fantastic: careful, quick, professional. And their rates were really fair for such a big job. The tree was in a tight space -- they managed to get it down without damage to the house, the yard, or the other nearby trees and plantings. Amazing, really.Unexpected bonus? Getting to watch Colin and his team work up in the canopy, carefully engineer the angles of cuts, the tension ropes and traction needed to make pieces fall just right. Very very cool. I am writing from the perspective of an observer... I watched the Bugg Crew take down a neighbors 10,000 pound very tall Cottonwood tree. They had to work dangerously close to a live electric service line and navigate through a wooded backyard to remove huge pieces of trunk plus all the branches from the crown. The crew were kind and polite to talk with us, next door, before they began the work, which put us at ease and gave us confidence in their skill and ability. Clean up was very thorough. Bugg Tree Care recently pruned my oak trees. Coordinating the appointment was a breeze, and the two guys who did the job were friendly, efficient, and very knowledgeable about each type of tree on my property. I was really impressed with their pruning methods, utilizing ropes and climbing the trees without major equipment. In my opinion this limited the damage to my trees during this trimming process. The owner also pointed out dying branches that needed to go, which I was really happy with because it saved me from having make another appointment later this year.
