You clearly from MULTIPLE situations, one in which you had to delete your social media, need to learn to seperate your personal and political opinions from your business. My son, husband, and father in law were there for haircuts not even from you. Its extremely unfortunate that your employees can be negatively impacted by your behaviors. Our definition of Good American is clearly different.Ive been taking my son here for years. Since before he was two. It has always been an amazing place and my son loves going there. Today my son went to get a haircut, and the owner Brian, not the ladies that usually cut his hair, would not allow him to get a haircut with a mask on. He is 4, and unable to get a COVID vaccine because of his age, we are also as a family being more cautious because of the current surge of cases in Missoula. He has been getting haircuts with a mask on throughout the pandemic with no issue. The owner (not the lady who was going to cut his hair) literally refused service to my 4 year old son, for wearing a mask, leaving my son in tears. We love the haircuts, love the people that work there. The owner unfortunately is just something else.

I take my 3 boys here ages 16, 6 and 4. They are always very patient with the smaller boys and I have loved every hair cut they have had there. I would definitely recommend.

Saying 1 star reviews are fake, isnt going to make them less real. Your trying to say your customer database has nobody with the initial A? Get real. Bullying former customers online wont bring us back.I stopped getting my haircut from Brian when I was overcharged. I didnt bother posting the 1 star rating until I saw Brians disturbing behavior on here and on Facebook.

I dont understand why you feel the need to try to fight bad reviews with misinformation. How about, instead, you focus your time and effort on bettering your business and customers experiences. Not everyone who disagrees with you is fake news.

The worst hair cut of my life. She followed 0 instructions. I said a trim off the top and she cut it way short. I said a two blended with a 3 on the sides and she did a #2 all the way up. Basically, I look like a 40 year old with a weird bowl cut. Worst thing was she did the whole thing with me facing away from the mirror so I couldn’t stop her!!!! I still tipped her due to covid, but she should be ashamed of this. My mom could do better.

As a former Marine, Brian exemplifies all of the best characteristics of our fine military men and women. He works hard, does the job right, and is extraordinaily clean. He goes above and beyond for his customers! Also, master barber is the ONLY place in Missoula that you can get a good professional fade! Highly recommend!

Haircut was ok. But at a cost 56 bucks without tip for beard trim and a buzz fade, it was way overpriced. Hair cut a 5 star. For sure, the hair cuts are great and fades are perfectly fine.Price is to high, 35 bucks for a fade. No, never again. Ones again, thanks for the nice fade but wayyyyy over priced.

My husband has been a faithful customer of Brian, owner of Master Barber of Missoula, for several years. When I started losing my hair due to chemotherapy, I knew I could trust Brian to shave it for me, instead of trying to do it at home. Brian treated me with kindness and compassion. What could have been a traumatic experience (going in with shoulder length hair, leaving completely bald), actually felt more like a spa treatment for my head! I will forever be grateful to Brian for making this such a great experience.

There are much better barbershop options in Missoula for myriad reasons.

After seeing the highly insensitive and ignorant posts made by Master Barber of Missoula on Facebook in regards to current social issues, Ill never return as a customer and Ill do what I can to make sure friends and family stay away. You can delete your Facebook account but its too late. Im sure most of the employees are respectful but whomever created the posts should be ashamed. Bad move in a liberal town.

Service is great. Explaining the haircut I wanted with pictures and directions, along with the challenges, I got exactly what I wanted. Something that is hard to find. The only issue is price, but I’m willing to pay a little more for quality. Ask for Kylee (Hopefully that’s how her name is spelt).

Honestly I was completely disappointed about the entirety of the experience. It felt rushed and was pretty expensive for having to wait for what like 15 minutes of barber time🙄, it cost like 50 bucks and his hair is butchered and beard still scraggly, we will never go back

Was a new customer today. Very impressed with the service, cut, and my barbers dog Jax - a gentle giant Russian black terrier. They really pamper you here. Hot towels, lotions, precise shaving and cuts. And my wifes fiest words were Oh, really nice cut and style, honey! I will definitely be back considering its just $6-8 difference than Cost Cutters and other discount cattle calls, before tip. People com0laining about cost...super lame! A cut was less than $30 incl tip. You spend that out on an off night drinking. Take pride, men!

Great haircut & great guys!!! I heard a lot of good things about this place & decided to give it a try. I went in close to quitting time, expecting to have to come back the next day, but the owner of the shop wasnt about to let me leave without getting what I came for! My barber, Mervyn, was more than happy to do it, even after closing time. Great barber! Very nice guy, had a good conversation & cut my hair exactly how I wanted it! This is a nice, clean shop, created for men, offering genuine barber shop services performed by very talented guys who can give you any cut youre looking for. Finally, a place where a real man can go get a quality cut in a mens atmosphere! I wont be going anywhere else from now on.

Took my 6-year-old in for his first fade. I HIGHLY recommend Mel. He was great with my son, and made him completely comfortable. He left there asking when his next haircut was going to be. Not to mention he looked like a stud with his precision lines. 100% RECOMMENDED!!

The people here take pride in their haircut services. They are experts in current and classic styles and recommend things which will make you look and feel better. They try to keep the wait time down but they are very popular and you may have to be patient. When your in the chair youll appreciate the extra time they take to make sure youre happy. They have free coffee while you wait, so they are doing all they can to make your small wait pleasant. Ive never had to wait longer than 25 min, of which they apologized and cared that it happened. Well worth the money.

Simply put, the best haircut Ive ever had, and Im picky. Not only the best haircut, but also the best service. This guy guarantees his cuts. That means if you dont like it, he fixes it for free. If he cant fix it, your next cut is free. But you dont have to worry about that, it will be perfect the first time.

This is by FAR the best haircut Ive ever had! I have very tricky hair, with lots of cowlicks. Brian does a great job of management habit for me. As a retired Marine, he has a soft spot for vets which makes for interesting conversations.He is a true Master Barber and, the only one in town (that I know of). I hesitate to write this review, only because I dont want more peoples me to show up and make my wait longer!

I have had a flat top haircut for over 20 years. I know that it is a difficult haircut for many barbers as I have had mixed results over the years. I recently relocated to Missoula and was not looking forward to locating a new barber. Fortunately, I was lucky to find Brian @ Master Barber of Missoula. I was so well taken care of; I called my wife immediately after to brag about the great treatment I received and how happy I was with my hair cut. What a reversal of roles, Ha! This is my first bad experience here i asked for a zero fade up to an inch on top and the barber took my hair down to less than a quarter inch. I PAID FOR A HAIRCUR I DIDNT ASK FOR

We have been here twice for my 4yo son and really liked the cut and experience. When I came on Friday evening at 5:05, well before their 6:00 closing, the two girls working informed me that they were closing early because they were so busy all day and they were tired. This is not an acceptable excuse to close early. I drove down reserve street in rush hour traffic. Barring an emergency, businesses need to be open for their advertised hours. Wont be back.

Over the years Ive learned my hair generally does better with a barber than salon. Ive gone to some good salons and Ive gone to some great barbers. I recently moved to Missoula and got lucky when I walked into Brians shop. At Brians Master Barber my hair has received some of the best haircuts Ive ever had the pleasure of experiencing. I would *highly* recommend taking a visit to his shop if youre needing a haircut.

Finally a real Barber Shop in Missoula! Only been in twice and had the pleasure of Mels service both times. He is extremely skilled and dedicated to his craft. I have no doubt every Barber on staff provides the same high level of service and skill. If you cannot tolerate a few instances of growing pains in a local business, there is always a Cost Cutters around. They do not make appointments, you will have to wait and it is worth it. I had to leave and come back the next day, beacause I didnt have the time. No big deal, its a haircut, a damn good one but be real here. Theres obviously a reason for the wait.

Not kid friendly. The guy was rude when my toddler got close to his dog he had in there. No signs posted about do not touch dog ect. Haircut was ok, won’t return or recommend.

Great cut and shave from friendly barber. I didnt go with a tight fade, so I cant comment on that. But, the 1.5 - 3 fade that I got looked great initially and is growing out nicely.

Bad haircut, poor location, inadequate service, horrendous parking situation, inconvenient hours (not even open on Wednesday), and a long wait. Overall, just a bad experience at this business and do not recommend it whatsoever. If you want a quick, ten-minute clipper “buzz cut” as a military man, this is your place, otherwise, save your money and find another barber or salon in town. I will not be going back to this place – definitely not worth the $20 I dropped at this business. Absolutely horrible haircut.

I called around 1 when I was 2 minutes away and asked if they were busy. They said it wasnt busy and they were open till 4, I get there and he says there is no room for me and kicks me out and locks the door behind me.. when I call a babershop I expect the truth. Very disappointed and I wont ever try and go there again
