Scott communicated with us the whole time, and had everything ready to go when we arrived. The staff was super helpful at getting everything lined up and taken care of. Fastest car buying experience we have ever had which was much appreciated with 2 toddlers in tow. Love our new Kia Carnival!
The Sale people were incredible. Very professional and not your typical car dealer where some dealerships keep you in the building for hours while they do nothing but try to wear you down. I purchased from out of town and my sales person kept me informed every step of the way, he knew the car and was able to show me everything on the interstate highway test drive. My experience with the service department has been great as well. Pablo is the best. I have a 2021 kia k5 GT Turbo. Love that car.
The service department could totally get better with customer service and appointments. I set an apt with them over a week ago for today at 11. We aren’t even from here and had to drive 1.5 hours for a warranty fix. I came back at 4 to see how my car was and they didn’t even start it yet. My car now has to stay here when he was supposed to have it done early. Lots of excuses as to why they waited last minute. Extremely unprofessional when someone is driving from 2 hours and had an apt set!

The service department has went downhill in a big way!! In 2013 we bought a Kia Soul and had the best experience. The sales team was amazing to deal with, and the service department was second to none. Fast forward to 2020. We bought a Sportage, which I love. We had a great experience with the salesman as well as the general manager at the time. They found the exact car I wanted and had it trucked in from SD. A few months later we bought a 2020 Soul and thats where it all started to go south. We have had nothing but trouble with it. The fuel pump has had to be replaced twice, a sensor has had to be replaced twice, and now its down again. The car has 680 miles on it and they cant seem to fix it. They say its fixed, its driven maybe 15-20 miles and it starts having trouble again. And forget about getting a return phone call or any communication from their service department....that sure as heck isnt going to happen!!! It takes calling the front desk over and over and finally asking them to please walk back and make sure they answer the phone to get a live person in service. Once they do decide to answer all you get is a bunch of excuses as to why they arent answering or bothering to communicate. If youre looking for a good service department Billion Kia of Missoula certainly isnt the place to go!!!
Unfortunately my experience has been similar to other posts. The buying experience was good but I have left several messages with the service department to schedule service and they wont call back. They send a mailing with a QR code to schedule service. I tried that also with no results. I wouldnt buy a vehicle here if you need to get it serviced at this location. Instead of sending me a were sorry response like other posts just return my messages so I can get my vehicle serviced.
I would give the service department 0 stars if I could. I had my car towed to Kia after it quit on the highway. I had seen a local mechanic in Superior who thought it might be my radiator but didn’t have parts so had it towed from Superior to Missoula Kia. Waited for 3 days before they even looked at my car, then was told a “pressure diagnostic test” was completed on my car and they found nothing wrong. I ask them multiple times how nothing could be wrong when my car stopped and there was no coolant left and it was steaming and they continued to tell me nothing was wrong. I asked them if it was fine to drive back to Helena and they told me again they found nothing wrong. Upon arrival at the dealership to pick up my car the coolant was not full (even though they said they filled it) so they filled it up again and still said nothing was wrong. We had to stop multiple times on the way home due to my car overheating and being out of coolant. Took it into a local mechanic in Helena and told him the situation and he agreed there could be multiple things wrong. Still waiting for him to complete a full assessmentI am highly disappointed in the Missoula Kia service dept. I was also not kept informed at all and had to keep calling and leaving messages for someone to contact me about where they were in the process of even LOOKING at my car.Will never take my car here again.
Fernando Garcia was absolutely Fantastic in helping me find and secure a new car I love. From the very start to the finish, he was there. Listening, understanding, and explaining everything. Everyone is so friendly, and comfortable. It was a lot less stressful experience than I was expecting. Definitely recommending this dealership, and Fernando!
I leased a Kia Sportage in 2019. Mice love the insulation on the wires in this car - its like candy to them. They totaled the wiring harness. Here is the sequence of contacts with Kia: I made an appointment on June 9. The service manager said I did not have an appointment. I left the car with them on June 9. We won;t know which parts you need until we take it apart. I mentioned to him that this would need an insurance process by the end of the next week. I did not get called back. Knowing that dealerships are male-oriented I passed the baton to my partner. He contacted them in the last weeks of June. I asked them directly to deal with the insurance in the third week of June, Oh sure, we can do that.... It is now June 19. They have not fixed the car. Todays comment from the service manager was We didnt know it was an insurance claim - I told them that before June 20, more than once. So they just got the parts and dont know when they can fix it because it isnt scheduled. The car has been sitting in their lot for about 6 weeks now. Communication has been me or my partner, calling them for the most part - They have not called us. This is a 35,000 car. I was planning on buying it until this happened, even with knowing that it is mice candy. But the service department has been the most disappointing experience Ive ever had with a vehicle, they have an excuse for everything even when weve documented the process. SO DISAPPOINTING. Efforts to talk to the other people in the dealership result in us being routed back to the service manager who is adept at avoiding responsibility. So disappointing. Dont get a Kia in Missoula if you have to work with their service department. Its a total nightmare.
This place is horrible! STAY AWAY. They make it easy to buy a car but it will be nothing but problems from there on out and they do not care. Just want you money and that’s it.

I just bought a new car at Kia Billion in Missoula. I had the best experience because they listened to me when I went in the first time. I went in the second time and it was even better because they are a team wanting to help the customer be happy with their choice. Knowledgeable, helpful and none of that pressure BS. Interesting that there are many poor reviews recently for this place. Like others, the buying (leasing, in my case) was the easy part and its been nothing but a pain ever since. I live in Washington state and was in a forced position to buy or lease a vehicle. It was an easy sale for the dealership. I left with my 2021 Kia Sportage on June 10. Gave them 2 Grand plus my first payment. On July 14 I filled out all paperwork AGAIN and they had to rerun my credit as they said there was a problem on the Kia Finance end. Oh, but good news -- my payment went down by $39. This after it went up over $40 after I said YES to the original deal when I was there.My temporary plate expired and they finally sent me a Demo plate after signing something saying I was driving a loaner. Isnt that interesting? This arrived 12 days after my temporary expired. Here we are on August 10 and my deal still hasnt been funded nor will anyone return my calls. I have called Cobi, the finance manager, several times. Ive left messages via email to my salesperson (who, honestly, has nothing to do with this). Ive called and tried to contact the GM -- but can only leave a message at their Sioux Falls location (which is where all phone calls go to unless you have a direct number). I have now left 2 messages.Im about to reach out to the Attorney General... take the vehicle back (a 3+ hour drive for me), and see what other route I can go. Theyre making me go sour on Kia and this is my 3rd one ... OR might NOT be. To top it all off, I was told that its Kias Financing was holding it up as theyre 60+ days behind. Called 2 other Kia dealerships (OR and WA) and theres no such thing happening. I feel Ive been lied to, kept in the dark, not given any kind of answer nor compensation for THEIR error AND Im leasing a car that now has 2 months worth of mileage and my lease hasnt even started yet?!? Never will I go through any Billion Auto business nor will I recommend them. So very disappointed, disillusioned, and downright angry.

Missoula Kia is the best! As a first time car buyer at such a young age Cobi and Greg were amazing! They explained every possible detail about the car and financing it to a T. They both were super easy going! When I showed up Greg had many options for me to pick from that ranged in mileage and style! He encouraged me to pick whichever one felt best for me! Last year I purchased a one owner 2014 Kia Sportage in Kalispell roughly a year ago and last week my car went into Limp Mode and had to be trailered to this dealership as it was the closest Kia to me. So I did and we got a quote of a couple weeks until it could be fixed, no biggie, 4 days later I get the call that it is finished, YAY! Wrong! After I have someone bring me here from kalispell to get my car, I go to leave with the keys- Battery is dead. Anyways get it jumped, and spend my afternoon in Missoula and as I head for home, I get as far as the Grey Wolf Casino and the Check Engine light is back on. I drive back to have them fix the issue. The “guy I needed” wasn’t here and it would take another day or two, again not a biggie except I’m 3 hours away from home and do not have a ride back so I needed a loaner, but the answer was “we don’t have any” “they are all out” “you’ll have to call you’re own rental company”. I purchased the extra insurance on my car so this wouldn’t happen, and we’ll now I’m here. Don’t deal with the Kia service Department.
They were very friendly! And were able to help me find a perfect car! Fernando was amazing! And super helpful was able to answer all of the questions and asked and was able to help me find a great car within my budget range ! I would highly recommend going here if you’re looking for a new car!

After taking possession of the vehicle I bought, well assumed I bought. They state all is good, when in fact its not. I recieved a letter stating the finance company needed more info from me which was not a problem IF I could get someone from the dealership to call me back to explain what information they needed. After calling endless amounts of times and texting the sales person I have yet to hear from anyone. Definitely leaves a bad taste in my opinion.

This was the best & fastest car purchase I have ever had. Cobi is very personable & straightforward & made sure he had the car I wanted prior to me arriving (I was traveling home from OR in a rental car, due to my car being totaled a week before & had called from Spokane). We took a test drive, then did the paperwork to get me on the road to Billings. His co-worker Greg, met me at Enterprise, so I could drop the rental & give me a ride back to the dealership, while they washed the car. I would definitely buy another car from Billion - Missoula!! Limited experience with this establishment, once to put air into low tires and once to purchase some touch-up paint. I was impressed with the courtesy and helpful staff, from the sales person who guided me to the service area, to the man running the service counter, to the fella behind the parts desk. Nothing at all to dissuade me from going there in the future.

Bought a 2017 Kia from this place. Salesman assured me there was a spare tire. When I checked a month later no spare tire. They want 350 dollars for a donut. Terrible service. Hard to get anyone on the phone. Go somewhere else.

I made an appointment with them and from the start they were great. I love their texting capabilites as it makes it easy to schedule and ask questions. Everytime I ask a question or needed anything Cobi is quick to follow through and help. Walking in everyone is super nice, courteous, and willing to help with smiles or I smizes due to masks. 😷😂

I tried to contact this dealer when I first moved to Missoula and, after trying to call several times, no one would answer the phone. I called again this afternoon and had the same problem, no one will answer the phone. I can only assume that their business is doing so well that they dont want or need any new customers.
I bought a Kia Sorento a little over a year and a half ago. Great experience, absolutely love the car. The service department however, is awful. In May I started having some troubles and called to ask if I could bring it in, it’s under warranty. It took them 3 weeks just to be able to get my car in to look at it. Finally was able to bring it in, they had it for 3-4 days and said the problem was fixed. I picked it up and the check engine light was still on and it was still doing the exact thing it was prior to dropping it off. So I took it back on a Monday. They said it would be done by Wednesday. Friday comes around and still no call, so I called them. They hadn’t even looked at it yet. Finally get a call the following Tuesday and they tell me they have to order a part and it will take 4-5 days to receive. So the following Thursday (9 days later) I had to call and ask if the part had come in because they still had not called, they say yes but they weren’t able to get it in for almost 3 weeks to fix it. At this point it has been TWO months since I first brought my car in. It probably wouldn’t be as bad if they had a loner car for me to drive, but they didn’t even have that. I’m so frustrated with the service. I won’t be back.

NEVER WORK WITH THEM!!! Ive been a loyal customer for over 3 years but never again. Their customer service has been garbage over the past few months even before this happened. They have done almost all of my work on my car and have now done damage to my engine and are refusing to fix it. I got a routine oil change and they forgot to tighten the oil cap which fell out on the highway. I was working and had to stop bc I road my engine dry, my car made horrible noises and died/ stalled out. None of my lights turned on. Nothing. I had it towed and thats when we noticed I was missing my oil cap. I had it towed to them where they only hooked it up to their computer to run diagnostics. When returned to me my car started smoking again and I felt like it wasnt driving right and I took it back again. They said it was fine and gave it back. I took it to another mechanic for a second opinion. They found that there was more than normal wear on my engine that shouldnt be there for the age of my engine. Ive shared this information with them and are still refusing to do any work. My car is my life, I drive it for a living and they have devalued my car. Id feel horrible selling it to someone with out letting them know that this has happened. Ive been a loyal patient costumer but never again. I urge everyone to not buy from them.

I bought my 2020 Soul there, they gave me a fair deal and the folks in all departments were friendly. My sales person Carman was particularly approachable, quick to respond to correspondence and willing to negotiate. I live almost two hours away so we did the whole deal by e-mail. When I arrived it was better than I had expected.

Purchased a Brand New Liftgate for a Kia we repaired and it was damaged. I called And let messages 4 seperate times to see about a discount or pay us to repair the dent in the liftgate.............Nothing not one return phone call. Very poor cutomer service. Our shop likes to purchase parts locally. In this case if we ever need Kia parts we will be using another vendor out of town.
Thank you so much to Carman and Sheridan for helping my wife and I. We bought a Kia Optima from them in September and my wife loved it especially for the low price we got it for. Unfortunately a truck driver totaled it in December, but our experience with the first optima made it an easy decision to go back and get our next one from Billion Missoula as well. Even driving 18 hours home it was still a better deal than buying here in Omaha, NE. If you want to be treated like family and drive a great car that’s affordable, definitely give these guys a call before you look elsewhere. Trust me, it’s worth it!

I was originally in the market for a used car that was not a Kia, but had informed the dealership that I was going to stop by because my bank had recommended them.Im glad I did! Not only did I walk(drive) away in a brand new car, but it was more than I was looking for in the used car. At no point did I feel as though I was being pressured to make a purchase from this dealership. I am super glad that I purchased my 2020 Soul there, and I look forward to the next time I purchase a vehicle, as this dealership will be first on my list of places to look.Carman was my salesperson, and he was awesome in showing me the features of the cars and was attentive to my wants and needs in a vehicle.
I have had the pleasure of working with this Billion twice in the past 7 months. I bought an optima from them last August that I loved- I had no complaints. Then, when I got sideswept by a semi I had to start car shopping again. I bought another optima from this Billion in December of 2019 and I could not be more happy. The sales staff were willing to help me find a car that I loved. In the midst of a frustrating situation I was glad to have people that cared more about what I wanted than getting a commission check. Definitely would refer all my friends and family to this dealership!

Me and my wife bought a used car here a year ago. As part of the deal the sales manager gave us three free oil changes. I went in today and got the oil changed for the second time. When it came time to settle up they told me they would not honor the free oil change. With a lot of arguing and the service manager going and calling someone else they finally honored it. Their excuse is that the sales manager that gave me the oil changes no longer works there. This is not my problem the same family still owns the dealership. I will never set foot in there again they can keep the third oil change not worth the hassle.
I have had my Kia serviced in Missoula since 2012. I was always happy with the service, folks are nice and easy to work with. The past few years I feel the service at Kia is subpar. I come in for a 2:00 oil change and at 2:30 it still hasn’t been looked at. I was told there was one tech on hand, maybe when the next one comes in they can get to my car. Why can’t you hire more help. Some of us don’t always have rides to come and get us, yes, they offered to take me home, but I shouldn’t have to do that. It’s an oil change, it shouldn’t take that long.
After the very long and challenging process of ordering/confirming/tracking a KIA Telluride through many dealerships in the region and with KIA itself, it was not until I worked with Billion KIA in Missoula that I finally felt questions were getting answered, and professionalism was a priority. Carman was quick to respond to our questions, and was down to earth, and honest in all our dealings. I strongly recommend working with this dealership for your KIA needs.

The staff was very kind and polite bunch!! The guys in the Service Dept too! (oil change)The sales experience, on the other hand, well, lets just say I went home feeling... not very good about any of it. Came in looking for a 2-3 yr old used car (they have little to no used car inventory that fit my needs), ended up with a car I really didnt want, as inventory in Apr/May 2020 was sold out! Then, find out I got a car with either factory damage or dealership damage. Salesman (Carman) said they would order part and replace it...of course. Well, that was 9 months go! When I asked about it on my first oil change, of course it was not on order, nor did anyone in the Service Dept know anything...no notes or anything. At least Carman testified to it, but now...Im still waiting!! Wonder where this is going to end up???So, as far as Kia overall, not good! Cannot recommend dealership nor the brand! ** 2 stars for the nice support personnel!
Ive been trying for close to a month to order a part for my kia. This kia isnt timely at all. I was told they would order the part and give me a call to work out shipping when it got in in about a week. 2 weeks went by and I ended up calling them. I find out the part wasnt ordered and that they would express ship it and call me when it got in. They stated it would take 2-3 days and they would give me a call back. Seeing how I havent heard a thing back, Im taking my business elsewhere and reccomending to my friends to go to spokane for kia business.
I bought a 2021 Kia Seltos and 25K miles in the transmission completely stops engaging. I had it towed to the shop and the service advisor could not provide a loner vehicle to me or arrange a rental car at Kias cost. Instead, he gave me a phone number to call and basically wished me luck. I called the number who said if the dealership can’t help I can pay OUT OF POCKET during a pandemic, submit the receipt to Kia, and HOPE it gets reimbursed. I have never regretted buying a vehicle more. It is completely appalling they have NO structure in place when they sell you an unreliable vehicle and EVERY SINGLE warranty they offer. It literally does no good. They are a terrible company who does not take care of their customers.

He listened to what kinds of cars I wanted to look at and he never pressured me to look at something I didnt want. Im not a picky person, so I knew the couple of cars I wanted to look at. I greatly appreciate that my time was not wasted looking at vehicles I would never consider buying, which happened when I looked at cars at other dealerships.As for the car itself, I love it. We were blown away by Logan and the finance team in the worst way. They never came out of their office to talk to us face-to-face, and they gave us very dirty looks when we came in to ask our salesman a question. After we decided on a plan, it took forever for Logan to call us in. When he did, he was in such a hurry to leave (it was the end of the day) that he didn’t bother to explain the lease contract to us even when we asked. Also because he was in such a hurry he messed up the paperwork and forgot to take my insurance so he kept calling me throughout the following week to get it from me, and I had to take time out of my week to help him correct his own mistakes. I absolutely do not recommend this dealership.
I scheduled a oil change and could not get off work to take the car in. Logan Russell personally came out and picked up my car and then delivered it back to me. While my car was in for the oil change, the service department found 3 recalls for my car. They fixed them as well and kept my husband informed all the way. It is refreshing to get such good customer service. Dont see that much these days. Kia Crew. Thank you for taking such good care of us. This is the only place to go to get a car.
This was my first new car purchase. I was worried about pushy salesman and that was not the case at all. Carman was great! I told him what I was interested in and was out on a test drive within 10 minutes. He answered all my questions and found me the right vehicle for my family. Worst. Experience. Ever. Lied to our faces, won’t admit it or fix the issue now. The issue THEY created!! The car I traded in has a delinquent notice... they haven’t paid. My advice if you buy a car here have extra money for an attorney.

Great sales dept. Worthless service dept. Im sure the mechanics are good but the guy I dealt with must be the manager or something. I bought a truck a mth and a half ago with an extended warranty. Check engine light came on. He didnt want to check it cause he was to busy then wanted to charge me money to check it then finally had a guy check it and yet I still have not heard back for over a week to see if my warranty would cover it. Its to bad I had a great experience buying but I will never be back due to that gentleman in mlthe service dept.
We made an appointment with Carman to test drive a new Sorento to replace our 16 year old Sorento. That did not workout so Carman asked what our wants and issues were for a new car. We test drove 4 various models and when we drove the Sportage our quest was over. When it came time to settle on a price Carman came back under what we expected. The experience was less dramatic than we expected. Carmanwas courteous and listened to our wants. We will shop with him and Billion for the next Kia. The folks were polite and easy to work with.
I only let Missoula KIA service my vehicles. Best value oil change around! And if you own a Kia they will wash your car after the oil change. I drive from Billings to visit and get my oil changed at least 3 times a year.
I have only had good experiences at this dealer. I love my 2017 Niro, it is a fantastic car and what little work I have needed has been done efficiently. If you are looking for a hybrid that gets about 43 mpg and has attitude, buy a Niro!
Service department is lame. We had an engine recall on our 2012 Sorento due to a manufacturing problem that causes premature bearing wear. We took the car in, they inspected the engine, serviced it, did an ECU upgrade, and sent us on our way with a clean bill of health. FFW to March, 2020, and we get a flashing check engine light and the car goes into limp mode rendering it useless. I did a little research and found that Kia has added a lifetime warranty to about 1.5 million of these engines because of this issue. I then called Kia Motors Customer Service, (calls to Billions service department went un-returned until the following day. They NEVER answer the phone, forcing you to leave a voicemail) !! CS set my mind at ease telling me that this problem was recognized by Kia, and was definitely covered under the extended LIFETIME warranty. For the record, I have a top of the line OBDII system and had already read the codes and knew that this was a knock sensor issue. The knock sensor tells you if you are experiencing premature bearing wear. The Kia mechanics I have been in touch with outside of Billion, claimed that engine replacement is the only real fix for this, that the rest are just band-aid repairs).We live 100 miles from Billion, so we had the car towed, expecting the engine to be replaced per Kias extended warranty..Wrong.They said we need to replace the knock sensor harness which was unavailable, so they did yet ANOTHER ecu upgrade, a bearing clearance measurement test, cleared the code (p1326. Look it up) then called my girlfriend and told her all of the fluids, including engine oil, needed replacement, trans needed flushing, cooling system was dirty, etc. We had over 2000 miles to go before our next scheduled oil change. (The sticker is still on the windshield, yet the tech that called said the oil was dirty and needed changing!!) Also said the car needed spark plugs, etc.. $600 in extra work. I called B.S. and she told them to bring the car back. I have since talked to another Kia dealer in another state, and they confirmed that it sounded like we were being scammed. That gentleman then proceeded to give me the service intervals for spark plugs, (our car has approx. 87k miles, they typically do plugs at 105k), fluid changes (NOT flushes..According to him Kia recommends that you dont flush their transmissions and cooling systems) .. The representative that she spoke with also claimed he did not know anything about previous service items that they had done to this vehicle, because he didnt work there then. Um... Look it up in the computer dude.. Ridiculous experience. He did however, confirm on the phone, along with the mechanic that actually worked on the car, that they thought this was a waste of time and Kia Motors should just replace the engine. Props to him for his candor. If this fails again, I WILL be in touch and it wont be pleasant.
Gave me practically nothing for my trade in, totally ripped off there. Sold me a 2013 as my goal was to get something newer with less issues. I’ve had nothing but issues with this car. Injector went out, it’s a hybrid that averages 34 mpg....., anytime the ac is on it makes a weird squealing noise. Also as the undercarriage is falling apart it appears it’s been in a wreck before I owned it. Once the car is off the lot they don’t care. No apology no offer to fix or even look at it, very rude. So if you’re going used here get the car fax and have a mechanic check it out. I was assured it was a very reliable vehicle, they knew the previous owners, and on and on. My bad for believing a car salesman. Lesson learned.***Called number requested. They said they do offer free car fax but only if you ask. My bad for not asking however makes you wonder why it’s not offered up front. Maybe because they like to hide things and wouldn’t sell so many used cars if they were honest. They did offer to call the local manager and see if we can work something out. Will follow up.****Went into dealership as requested. They couldn’t/wouldn’t do anything. Car keeps getting worse. Ac unit freezes up when used. Makes a horrible noise when started, gas mileage keeps dropping, and my favorite...the brakes now slip randomly. Don’t buy a used car here. Even with a vehicle history report. Will end up returning the car and filing bankruptcy. Thanks a Billion, Kia......went to Deals on Wheels and yes had to pay way more than the book value but the vehicle has had absolutely no issues and has been checked by two different mechanics to avoid the same mistake I made with Billion. The price you pay for mediocre credit made much worse by a bad dealership unwilling to stand behind their product when things go wrong. I understand buying a used car is a gamble but when that vehicle turns out to be an unsafe lemon and they won’t even bother to take a look then that falls on them.

Ive worked in sales for years, and this is by far the worst attempted buying experience Ive ever had. No callback for hours on a reasonable pricing discussion for a used jeep they have listed for the same price that you can find new ones for. The salespeople there need serious training. No rapport, no underlying product knowledge, and clearly zero value viewed in having customers. The sales manager was the one I asked for a call back from but evidently thats not in the list of job responsibilities when youre in charge of making a dealership sales. I had my doubts before about shopping at a KIA dealership of all places, but now Im certain it was a mistake for making the consideration in the first place.
The Billion Kia Website will lead a consumer astray. What you see, you think is at that dealer. But that is wrong. The website shows all the cars for all of their 10 dealerships, not just your local one. But you do not know that when looking, only when you get to the dealership and those cars are not there. It almost feels like a Bait and Switch. We did have a great salesman. Kudos to him for being straight with us. They just did not have the auto we wanted.
I leased a car in October of 2018 from this dealership. I came in wanting to trade in my used vehicle and finance another, slightly newer car. I was of course conned into leasing a brand new vehicle thinking it was a great deal (spoiler alert, I can’t afford it). I won’t mention the dealers name because he was very friendly, so really not the problem here. During the transaction, we asked several times if we would have any problems registering our vehicle in Denver, because we were planning to move back there in a week or so after purchasing the vehicle. We were assured there would be no problem so we went ahead and finalized the lease.When we tried to register our vehicle in Denver, it was a nightmare. Our motor vehicle office required that they see the title of the vehicle with the leasing company’s name. No problem, I thought! Wrong. This dealership and the titling department refused to send them any copies of the title, even with “do not copy” watermarks or anything. They literally just needed to see it so I could register, not like it was a crazy request. All they would send me was a Limited Power of Attorney. When I came back to my DMV (for the THIRD time, mind you) I unfortunately got paired with a newer employee who took the Power of Attorney and finalized my registration/gave me plates. Well, come to find out a year later while trying to renew my tags, I have been driving ILLEGALLY for a year because the Power Of Attorney wasn’t enough, and now I’m having to deal with this nonsense all over again. Sure, the DMV shouldn’t have given me plates without what they needed, but maybe if this dealership was more accommodating the first time this could have been avoided. I have called several times and left voicemails asking for callbacks and for them to help me obtain the title, and haven’t even received a call back. I know somebody who works in a local motor vehicle office who got ahold of the dealership (since they won’t bother talking to me) and apparently, the Montana motor vehicle office sent the title work BACK to Hyundai Leasing because this dealership never got back to them with the rest of the information THEY needed. So, now I have to attempt to contact Hyundai and pay for the title work to be replaced, on top of paying for the renewal. I won’t be able to renew until I get this paperwork back, and will be driving on illegal plates with expired tags. I’m probably just gonna take a hit on my credit and turn in this stupid car early so I can wipe my hands of this BS. Thank god I was never pulled over or in an accident, ya know, with illegal plates and all. This vehicle has caused me so much anxiety and stress, cost me an ungodly amount of money, and destroyed my credit, all for a car I didn’t want in the first place. Thanks a lot, Billion Kia!!!!
