I have a 2016 Ford 150. Had and engine light on and took in to get diagnosed. Diagnostic codes were many, and unusual. With prior approval they set about isolating the problem. They were able to determine a short in the system. They eventually found a problem with the cables harness where it had rubbed through. Not an easy fix. With approval they had to replace the whole cable harness. It was expensive repair and took time, but it was still much better than having to buy a new truck. Since the repair has been done, so far I have been trouble free.

Finding a reliable body shop that won’t add on other repairs is hard. Spartins is awesome! I grew up around body shops and cars because of my dad, and felt safe bringing my car here. They changed my starter in my Honda pretty quickly and efficiently! Pricy but worth it!

They got me in quickly and the mechanic Gary did a great job of getting my truck fixed up for huntin season!

I was referred to Spartan by a friend last year and have taken 4 vehicles there for various repairs such as headlight refresh, headlight replacement, electrical diagnostic and repair in a 20 year old SUV, key fob reprogramming, and replacement of a lock on a Volkswagen. They will go out of their way to find needed parts and have always kept me updated on the status of an order and the progress on any vehicles I have dropped off. I highly recommend Spartan! I called in the morning to see about getting my truck in and thankfully they were able to get it in the same day, diagnose, repair and back to me. I was on a trip from Georgia to Idaho and my truck had battery trouble in Missoula MT - AAA recommended Spartan and I called and Milt got me right in without an appointment. We were in need of replacement vehicle key fobs and programming. Milt and his team were able to produce the keys faster and for less cost than the dealership. It was a relief to find a high tech shop in Missoula that could take on this complex project and complete it in a couple of days instead of a week.

I was on a college visit and my alternator and starter blew on my way home, 9 1/2 hours from my house. Spartans somehow managed to fit me into their schedule and got it done in time for me to make it back for work the next day. I do my own mechanical work and this was top quality stuff. 15/10 for everything!

I have an older motor home. The starting battery would continually discharge in a couple of days. I took it to the RV dealer twice and another shop. None could figure out the problem. Spartan tuning was diligent and found several shorts in the wiring. Thanks to Milt and the guys

I dropped my car, a BMW, off at Spartans in January for a warranty transmission replacement. That proved to be the easy part of this story. Through dealing with the incredibly slow and lack of communication from the warranty company to searching the entire country over for a transmission, Spartans went above and beyond what I expected from a repair shop. They kept me updated along every step of the way and worked tirelessly to help me resolve the issue. I recently got the car back, in May, and even with a 5 month mess of paperwork and searching for the right part I was always kept informed and treated with the upmost respect. The car was given back to me in perfect condition and with a smile. Came here to get my battery replaced and oil changed. They didn’t have the battery my car needed so they reached out to another vendor to get it and it was there within 10 minutes. I only waited around 45 minutes for them to do everything. There was a really nice waiting area with coffee, water, and snacks. Nice, helpful, and timely. Also have a 5-year warranty on their batteries. Definitely recommend!

Wanted 1200$ for a part that I’m able to find for 200-350$, labor was reasonable, but outrageous for parts, sadly wanted them to do a lot of work on my car, but going to have to get somewhere else to do it. And charged 107$ for putting my car on a lift and saying they looked at it. Very sad.

The staff was conscientious and courteous. They took the time to check all the problems that was causing the issue with my car. Now my car is running beautifully without any problems. I highly recommend going here for repairs.

Great Service and they do what they promise and more, the truck runs like brand new!I have a 2001 Toyota Tacoma PU, they replaced the clutch pressure plate and flywheel, they tuned it up, replaced an O2 sensor that had been out since I bought the truck and it has been serviced many times by V-Tech and they never bothered to fix it or ask me about fixing it, and I have had the axle bearings and rear axle repaired and replaced on the passenger side several times again by V-Tech and it kept blowing out, Josh suggested that even though it would be more expensive just put in a factory new one, and when they got done they took the time to align and tweak it so that it was correctly replaced.The truck runs like brand new! And the cost was very reasonable for all they did.I will be using them for all my work on the Tacoma and I would highly recommend them to work on any vehicle you have.Thank you for your time and effort on my vehicle!

Prompt service with a starter on my pickup. The previous owners replaced it 15 months earlier. Spartans put in the new one under warranty ( I didnt remember it was under warranty), handed me my keys and I drove off with no additional cost. Very satisfied.

I recently took my Ram 1500 to Spartan Tuning for a headlight upgrade. Aware of the unflattering notoriety of Chrysler products when changing to LED/HID headlights over stock headlights, I mustered up my shallow supply of patients recalling all the radio advertisements I have herd since moving to Missoula and I acted on impulse making the visit to Spartan Tuning. ( Now I should have prefaced this review with my unnatural expectation of professionalism, pursuit of excellence in ones work as well as a depth in knowledge when it comes to craftsmanship. Spartan Tuning nailed it on all bullet points. ) After waiting in shop while the service was performed, I was soon on my way to attend the days errands. A few hours later I notice the infamous LED flicker. Once finished at the gym I called the number from the service recite and headed back to the shop. After a short conversation concerning the symptoms work began at trouble shooting the issue.At the end of the day Spartan Tuning stood by their guarantee of work backed by excellent knowledge and professionalism with a service task that many shops won’t perform. Again, the infamous headache of Chrysler electrical systems and controls.I definitely plan on taking all my vehicles to Spartan Tuning for all services.

Unprofessional. Benjamin was almost always “out for an emergency” or “on lunch”. They never called us. We always had to do the calling to communicate with them at all. They had our car for over a month and a half. Not impressed with this business at all.

Very disappointed! I had my car towed here and just after over $500 in repair they then told me that the whole engine needed to be replaced and would cost me $3000, which my car wasnt worth fixing at that point. I really wish they could have figured out the problem first before just throwing parts at my car. They even said it was running so i went to go pick it up, however, it was barely running and died less then 5 minuets after i left. So i had to take it back and ask if they even test drove it before saying it was running. I wont ever take another car here again.

I am always confident in Milt and his employees work. It’s the only place I’ll take my Subaru!

Took 6 days to replace a fuse in my Honda. Called multiple times and I always felt like my car was their last priority. Was quoted 99$ over the phone after they had already ordered the part, next day the price jumped by 200$. Slow check out. If you want to overpay AND wait a week for simple repairs this is the shop for you.

Towed my car there 2 weeks ago. Trying to get that planned was like pulling teeth with Spartan Tuning. Ive had to make every call and all they do is say theyll call back (has never happened). This is going on the 5th or so time ive called and they say Oh yeah! Well give you a call in 20 minutes. Im going to be spending the $300 to tow it back and find somebody else. 2 weeks and $600 later and imma have to pay their fee of plugging in a code reader. Completely unprofessional.
