The staff at Ricks Auto Body are incredibly professional and friendly. They got me scheduled in quicker than any of the other shops in town that I contacted. They also finished the work sooner than estimated, and did a fantastic job getting my car looking good as new! As an added bonus, theyre Subaru certified and use only legitimate Subaru parts! This is the second time we’ve been back to Rick’s with deer damage, and they’ve been amazing both times. Quality work, excellent customer service, and they took care of everything with our insurance, all while keeping us in the loop. We will always come back here for repairs.

Amazing job. We got in an accident while on vacation and Rick’s made a seemingly stressful situation so easy. We had to return to pick up the vehicle several weeks later and they were more than accommodating. They were done weeks before we were even able to come back, so they held on to the vehicle for us and didn’t even have a storage fee. We picked up after hours with no issues and our van was completely detailed. We have 3 kids so it was no easy task. They went above and beyond.Can’t thank them enough and would recommend 100x!

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!!! My vehicle had over $14,000 worth of damage after a very large truck rearended it. My car is only a year old and I just couldnt image what it was going to look like after the repairs. There were so many small things damaged as well as the big ones and I feared Id be fighting about that with Ricks and the insurance company for a very long time. Wow, was I wrong! Not only have I not been able to see any difference in my car - and I mean ANY - but no one would ever know my car had been damaged just to look at her. She looks fantastic! Everyone I met at Ricks were super nice. They called with updates on a weekly basis - sometimes twice a week - so I never felt like the days were slipping away and they were just taking their time. I am so greatful to everyone who helped me out with my car - EVERYONE!!! I hit a deer and front end and radiator need fixed. I could still drive it and did so for about about a week until they called me and told me to bring it in and it would take about 3 or 4 days to fix. Well it took about 3 WEEKS BECAUSE they did not have a radiator in. This is BS they could have waited until all parts were in before they called me. I had no car for 3 weeks INEXCUSABLE. I was also told the boss would call me about this and NEVER did. They also lied to me 2 or 3 times. I will never take my car back to them.

Repairs were done in less than a week. Car was in better shape inside and out than when I dropped it off at Rick’s. They partnered with progressive insurance to handle the claim and estimating. Excellent experience - Rick’s is now my go-to shop for body work.

The assessment of the wind noise problem I was experiencing was very thorough and the estimate was reasonable. My vehicle was ready on time and came in at the estimated cost. The vehicle was cleaner than when I dropped it off, and the wind noise is gone (which was due to quality control at the factory). I am very happy with Ricks Auto Body and would definitely use them again.

Did fantastic job with some rusting on my truck roof and a small impact that caused some loss of paint. They detailed interior and exterior of truck and a week later with some rain and snow.flurried the truck is still shining from whatever magic they used to make it shine like that.

I had a rare truck that was in an accident in a more remote area with really poor cell service. I was barely able to get hold of Ricks Auto Body. They were incredibly helpful from that first call to the very end when my insurance Co and I agreed on a settlement releasing the Truck. Everyone was very helpful and thoughtful. When the individual (Mattie) was gone a few days, my info was handled by another person and they were informed, not missing a beat. My experience here was A+. Thank you to all of you at Ricks auto Body. Losing my rare truck was difficult...you all made it a little easier. Appreciate it.

I had never been in an accident or anything ressembling an accident before, so when I came to Ricks after being rear ended I really had no idea what I was doing. Their customer service reps were absolutely fantastic with helping me understand the process of getting insurance claims/estimates. They really work on your side to make sure you get the best repairs for the best cost. Usually I get nervous when repairs need to be made on my car because Im really out of my element in those situations, but everybody I talked to was so nice and helpful. They had my car done in the amount of time they said it would take to finish, and they kept me updated on how repairs were going throughout the week. I almost didnt recognize my car when I picked it up, it looks better than when I purchased it!

After an unfortunate accident, Ricks literally brought my nearly totaled Jeep back to life. To top it off, the customer service here is by far the best service Ive had anywhere. Maybe the best auto body repair shop in Missoula. During the quoting process, instead of calling it good with aftermarket parts, Reuben took time to search the web for less expensive options. Ended up saving me about $1000. Great communication on the staffs part as well. If my car happens to meet up with another unlucky deer, Im definitely coming back to Ricks.

DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU LIKE TO BE TREATED WITH RESPECT. If I could give zero stars, I would. I own a 2017 Ford Fiesta and was in a minor accident on the 23rd of November. After getting my car to ricks, as my insurance recommended, they had my car for 2 weeks and 2 days. Time goes on and I finally get my car back. I paid in full when I picked up the car and was charged $770. I took my car onto the highway and it was CLEARLY not fixed. The car was loud and it was very scary to drive, thank the lord I only drove from Orange Street to the Van Buren exit. I immediately called Rick’s and they said to bring it in right way. Well, I’m on my way to Rick’s and the call back and say to bring it to a different shop...come to find out they sublet ALL the repairs to a different shop. After getting my car the the shop that actually did attempt to fix my vehicle they took it on a test drive and said they could here problems in the car at 35 mph. I called Ricks again. I was upset that my car wasn’t fully repaired upon picking it up and that they did not check to be sure the car was good before giving it back to me. They said “there is no way for us to know it wasn’t fixed, it’s a moving part” and then claimed to have taken the car on a test drive and “found no problems.” There is no way they drove my car after getting it back. They did not show me any type of receipt from the business that actually did work on my car. They had absolutely no respect for me when speaking to me on the phone. Because I paid in full when picked up they were not interested in getting my car fixed completely. Keep in mind my car had 14,008 miles when it hit the curd. I’ve called my insurance and strongly advised them to stop recommending Ricks, they charged me $770 for two tie rods and labor for a car that wasn’t even fully repaired.

Had my car body work fixed here, it was all a smooth process, everything under one roof was cool too. When I got the car back it was like I never wrecked it, except for a headlight blemish. I pointed it out and they fixed it right then. Very pleased with the work. Their work and service is top notch.

Awesome group of people. Rick and his team all worked together to rebuild my 2003 Blazer after an idiot backed into me last summer. Courteous, helpful. When I found a small problem with a missing bolt 11 months later they fixed it, no problems, no charge! All around excellent experience on a repair shop. Cant go wrong with Ricks. They make it right!

Had a rear bumper replaced by Ricks Auto Body after and accident. They got me in quickly, were friendly and professional. I was very happy with their service, would use them again without hesitation, and recommend them completely!

No communication. Had a car dropped off for an estimate only and for the insurance to look at. They had the driver sign a form that they did not explain. Called to follow up to see if the estimate was done and insurance inspected found out the car had been taken apart and ready to put replacements on. We indicated from the get go to both them and insurance we did not want the car repaired. When trying to fix the issue they threw their word against ours. They took the word of who dropped it off and did not even check who owned the car or verify anything with the owner. For all they knew someone stole my car, wrecked and took it to get fixed. When I told them I wanted the money owed to me they tried to slam me with the cost of shipping new parts and dis assembly of the car I didnt want disassembled or fixed. So between their lack of communication and due diligence I got screwed out of money I was relying on. I will never take any business to them again nor recommend anyone.

Ricks Auto Body told me it was going to be done on Friday but they were done with my car a day early! Somebody had hit my car so I needed to fix it. At Ricks Auto Body, they fixed my dent and I also had them fix a few extra things such as the tire wells and back panel. Ricks Auto Body is also extremely accommodating: they called the rental car company, and set a date by which to do the job. Their price was reasonable. They called me back on time. I dont have anything negative to say about my experience with Ricks Auto Body. Theyre great and very reasonable!

The work is flawless. They really take pride in what they do. It doesnt seem like its just a job for the people who work there. They even called me even before my insurance company did. Kept me posted throughout the week, they are just excellent at what they do!

Theft. Dishonesty. Awful customer service. Over Priced. Unnecessary charges. I took my car here after hitting a deer. Multiple things were stolen out of my vehicle and I was given a quote which included items that had absolutely nothing to do with the damages. After the terrible customer service tipped me over the edge I got a quote for half the price just down the street. Dont waist your time and money here.

Unfortunately I was bumped into from behind.Ricks did an awesome job getting me in, supplying a rental car and best of all did an awesome job fixing my car in a timely manner as well. A couple months after I picked up my car I noticed my license plate only had one screw in it. I called Ricks, they told me to come right down. They Drilled out my broken screws and replaced them within 15 minutes!!!!No questions no charge:)I would highly recommend Ricks Autobody.They truly go above and beyond the call of duty.

Getting into an accident is never fun or convenient. Between the rental car, body shop and injuries it can be a hassle. I was most nervous about the repairs to my vehicle because it just seems that I tend to have bad luck in this area. I have to tell you it was a very hassle free situation at Ricks. Jenni gave me a daily update on the repairs to my vehicle. I greatly appreciated that!! The repairs were performed to my high standards. I had an issue with the drivers side lock on my 98 Ford explorer. So after deciding I didnt want to mess with the issue I took the car to Ricks Auto body. They had me in for an estimate that day and the estimator was very nice, they told me they had to order a new part so i waited a two days for the part to come in. When I went back they worked on the car again but told me that there was a new issue with the car and a new part would need to be ordered and painted, but I wasnt interested in spending any more then $100 to have the door fixed and waiting another couple days to have the issue solved. So I had them put the door back together and picked up the car. When I picked it up the estimator told me the exterior door handle had broke and needed to be replaced, and that the only way to get in the car was to go through the passenger side. But I tried the handle and it worked just fine, so that was odd. I ordered my own parts and upon opening the door saw that there was scratches on the pain around the door panel (I suspect they were caused at the shop) and the shop had damaged the insulation between the door and the handle as well as the water cover that separates the door from the interior panel, several rivets fell out of the door panel when I opened it, and there are no bolts holding the pieces that the rivets were previously. I know this was caused at the shop because the car has never had door work done on it before. So overall I was incredibly disappointed with my service at Ricks Auto body, from the reviews I expected great service. The estimator and the office was very nice but mechanically the service was very poor and I ended up wasting around $70, so Thanks for Nothing Ricks Auto Body

Horrible!! I dropped my car off, called one week later and Don told me that the bumper showed up damaged, I asked when it would be possibly be done, he told me it would be into paint on Monday, and be done on Thursday. I get a call from my insurance agent on Thursday saying my car was totaled. ummm I am pretty sure I was lied to!!!! To top that off they tore our car apart, I bought the car back from the insurance company, I called to see if I could come get it. They told me I had to pay to put it back together, Thank goodness for my awesome insurance agent they paid to put it back together. I picked it up and found that they had no respect for my stuff. It was thrown in the back seat and strewn ALL OVER. the antenna and some body pieces were missing also. DO NOT GO TO RICKS!

My loyalty will be with Ricks from now on. After insurance company had given me the wrong information, setting me up for a tough situation, Jaci jumped in and had it handled in 5 minutes. She took a stressful situation and made it easy!! Thanks Jaci!!

My daughter backed my car into a dumpster after pulling out of a driveway at a home she was babysitting. Although she claimed to have been going only “5 miles per hour, tops” it left a huge dent in my trunk and chipped the plastic off the light cover in the back. Also, my poor Civic emblem was only a Civ now. I guess the “ic” fell off the ground but my daughter picked it up. I took it to Rick’s Auto Body to see what they could do. I dropped off my car on a Tuesday, and by that Thursday afternoon they said it was ready. I couldn’t believe it. There was absolutely nothing wrong with my car, it was like new. The paint was flawless, and they even replaced the Civic emblem. Great job, and will come back for any other needs, but hopefully not.

I hate having to come here, but if I need repairs, I like Ricks. They are great at communicating every step of the process.

I have used Ricks as my repair shop for over 20 yrs. They did an excellent job until the last time. I just discovered that they wired my tail-lights and back up lights together, so now my backup lights are on all the time, and I will have to return the truck to Ricks for 4th time due to the shoddy work on this repair.Time one was to put on after market bumper which should have been ordered in plenty of time as I took the truck in for an estimate the beginning of January telling them I would leave it with them 21/2 months later for a week. I checked back in a month before the repair date...no bumper was ordered, and it didnt arrive in time. Time 3 the side panels werent properly screwed in, the sidepanels were damaged when they installed the bumper and the License plate mount was thrown in the back of the pickup and the plate was screw mounted.And now is time 4. I can get a ticket for the back up lights being on all the time and I have to spend yet more time and money taking the truck back in to get it fixed correctly.They originally wanted to charge me the $90 difference in price between bumpers. When I complained amount of inconvience time and money their mistakes cost me, they did write that off, I am deeply disappointed as I I had liked their work. I wont go back and cant recommend them. This is amateur hour and failure of quality control.

MY husband Ron and I took our buick lacrosse in after hitting a deer, Ruben did the estimate and afterwards he explained everything in detail to us. We had driven in from out of town and because we had to drive our car back home till following week when they could work on it my husband did not want them to open hood in fear it wouldnt close. Ruben informed us there could be more damage under the hood and he also informed our insurance co of this. Taylor kept us to date on the repair job and as we thought there was some minor damage under the hood and all good for our insurance had also been told. Taylor was a pleasure to deal with, very friendly and most helpful and the car was ready on the pick-up date as promised by Ruben. We have already taken the car on a road trip over four different mountain passes and all is well. If the need should ever arise again we wont hesitate to bring our vehicles here for the repair job. Ricks Auto Body has been the worse car experience I have ever had and its not even done yet. Long story short DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE.My car has been in for 3 full weeks. They ordered the wrong hood 3 different times then when the right one came in they let it sit there the whole day and didnt do anything with it; their excuse was we had other cars to get out the door today. When I asked how many had been in for 3 weeks they didnt give me an answer. Once they finally had the right hood, got it painted and on the car they said I needed a new airbag system and that it was going to take another 4-7 days. When I asked why they just now found out they said the car had to be put together for them to know. At this point this has been more then a significant road bump in my car world and I am now considering taking legal action as I am now likely to miss work and school because of their laziness. After reading this I hope that you do not take your car here as I would not want anyone to go through the situation I have been in for the past 3 weeks.

They are dishonest and will charge you more in the end. They gave me a quote in the beginning and once they found out what my insurance company was giving me they changed their quote. I am also an out of towner and a disabled vet so they took advantage of that. I wish I had went with Blue Ribbon as my insurance company recommended but I had already committed to Ricks. USAA told me that they plan on not using this body shop in the future and since they didnt have a contract with them that they were unable to help me. Dewey is not to be trusted. I always loved the town of Missoula, MT and had a incident with a vehicle while driving to my next duty station back in 2002 and the Ford dealership warrantied some work for me even tho they didnt need to. They support the military. I will not let this bad company cast a shadow on this great town. Please feel free to message me with any questions about how they took advantage of me and my family. I tried to work it out with them and am consulting a lawyer but I dont wanna continue dealing with the stress they have caused me. I just dont want others to find themselves in the same situation. Only way to try to prevent such behavior in the future is to get the word out about unfair business practices. WARNING Stay away from this company. Will take advantage of anything they can.
