Wow. Im completely all around satisfied with my entire experience- from calling to check availability, all the way to walking out the door feeling like i just left a family bbq. Im never-not-once completely satisfied leaving a chair, theres always something... he took so much Ttiimmmeeee, he made sure i didnt leave unless i was satisfied which is an option Ive never been offered really, as its usually turn and burn service elsewhere. Ive been to quite a few barbers in mpls, but NONE made me feel like i was completely certain my money was well spent towards a worthy business. The conversation, the people that came and went, the other barber that was working, the cleanliness and state of the shop, it was all around the best experience Ive had getting a proper fade on my fauxhawk-pixie. He knew exactly what i wanted, he gave my hair shape based on my features. He executed with the expertise i expect from a barbershop owner and then some, while keeping conversation going and telling me his steps along the way so that i was aware of the direction he was going with it. I felt so welcome in his space.I have super fine and pin straight brown hair so my hair shows every flaw and he was able to make it look so smooth and with a seriously impressive gradient. Billy did it, he really made me feel more sexy leaving that chair than any salon just by listening to my wants and most of all, being damn good at cutting hair. Im a client for good, i highly suggest for everyone to come sit in his chair because A) hes excellent and B) youre supporting the home team here in mpls.Thanks, guys.Ally

I appreciate how clean and how wonderful were treated as customers / clients. After one client gets up out of the chair at the barber shop. You guys sanitize not only the chair but the throw covers that you put on around each persons necks. And the Combs are sanitized, and the clippers are sanitized. And everyone is spread out so were not condensed, in a tiny room with a strong chance of getting covid-19. Youre very sanitary and youre very professional period and I had a professional cut today thank you five stars *****

Mack cut my sons hair and he loved it. It was affordable, professional and Mack is a really fun guy. They made sure to wear masks and gloves and clean as well and made sure customers wore masks too. After 3 months of pandemic, it was great to find a safe, friendly place!

This was my first time getting a haircut in Minnesota. I am currently a student in Mankato and decided to come get my first haircut at Urban Touch. I chose this place because after the reviews and pictures Ive seen online I had to give it a shot and I could sense a community and welcoming vibe even from the pictures and videos. They definitely did not disappoint! I got my haircut and beard trim from Bill, the owner at Urban Touch and I told him what I wanted and he executed. He makes sure that youre satisfied before leaving the chair, & he takes his time and makes you feel welcomed. All barbers are clean and masked up so you dont have to worry about any safety concerns. I have found my go to spot for haircuts and if I have to make the drive from Mankato to Minneapolis for a haircut I will cuz these guys are legit!

My husband and I drove 3 hours from Staples Minnesota just to get my youngest sons hair cut at Urban Touch Salon. I was so impressed by the work that was done on my middle sons hair. Bill was our master barber. A courteous man that runs a very respectable business. I found Bill to be hard working man with a dedication to his work and his faith. The shops atmosphere was most enjoyable with good and wholesome conversations. What especially caught my eye and I dearly loved, was the small reading area of books that Bill has in the shop. Reading is a level of education that I hold dear and to see that promoted in his shop tells me a lot about the heart of this business man. He speaks highly of and is confident about his team. Ive tried numerous barbershops out in the twin cities metro and had good experiences at some. I never thought I would be able to definitely say one in particular was king of them all. Urban Touch is more than just a great place with professional barbers, its also a place where young men can get indirect therapy from role models, and learn the importance of community and men being in their children lives all while getting hair cut. I been living here in Minnesota for 22 years and this is the first shop were the clientele is from people of all ethnicity and nationalities. I had to comment and I been told I am a pick person. We have had wonderful experiences at Urban Touch Barbers. My 14 year old son gets his hair cut by Mack, who does an awesome job. All of the barbers are friendly, enjoy talking and bantering with each other and their clients, they are a profanity free zone, and all give amazing cuts! Sometimes you have to wait awhile but the atmosphere is so fun waiting is part of the enjoyment. You cannot get a better cut for a better price. I HIGHLY recommend Urban Touch barbers.

Over the past ~6 months Mack has consistently given me the best undercut with a perfect fade (usually a little chin trim too), and now that my son and wife have started getting their cuts here too everyone in our house looks great. For two white parents with a Black son, we couldnt have found a more talented team to take care of us all and we love keeping our money in our community.

I wear my hair natural and just went for the first time. Im happy to say that Bill (the owner) treated me like a queen and gave me a fabulous cut, saying his customers should feel like theyre celebrated, not tolerated. Perfect!

Urban Touch Barbers were professional and provided that old school vibe that you come to expect from a Black Barbershop. I found my shop!!! I just moved to Minnesota from Wisconsin 2 months ago, and Ive been skeptical of going to any barber but mine. All those fears went out the window as soon as I stepped in. I got in the chair right away without having to wait, and a short time later, I had the perfect haircut like I never left my barber. I will be going back and I fully recommend this place.

Cant use a scissors, just shave your head. Worst haircut Ive ever had in my life. Not only did he shave me bald when I said leave it long on top he missed a huge spot. Idk if he was drunk or what.
