The Elysian is a wonderful place to live. Its incredibly quiet for what is mostly Student housing and they do an excellent job of roommate pairing if you go the room for rent route. The place is very well kept and Im never embarrassed to show people where I live. Maintenance requests are answered promptly and there is always something going on. The area is also nice and pretty safe for Minneapolis as well. I would recommend getting a parking spot if you are going to be returning home late in the evening or frequently walking by yourself to your vehicle in the early morning hours or around bar close. Overall Id say this is definitely one of the nicer places to stay in Minneapolis and easily worth the rent.
Elysian is a great place to stay, especially if you want to stay close enough to downtown and the U of M. And the staff ACTUALLY listens, understands and helps. Rent is cheaper than most places (even cheaper if youre willing to share your room), plus there are a couple of food joints right next door. Metro Bus stop is also right outside. They have a 24*7 helpline, which I have had to use a couple of times, and it works (they helped me out even at 2 am). Having an indoor gym is cool, especially in the Minnesota winters (though not as big, but the machines work). And they also have a Club room, where you can find a quiet place to study, or hang with your friends. All in all, a great place to stay at.
The Elysian Apartments is the most excellent place to live. The management here is so helpful when it comes to questions or concerns. They make sure to help you with your concerns and make things right. The location is perfect with a great view of the skyline. Living here gives you the opportunity to meet so many new people.
An amazing place to live, amazing views and in a great area! Management is super nice and works hard to help out in anyway they can. All neighbors are super respectful and quiet, never had an issue with noise. Not to mention theres Ice Cream Friday every week and coffee in the lobby everyday! Id recommend to all U of M students!
The Elysian has been my favorite place to live! It is inexpensive compared to other apartments near the U of M but you get so much more with your money! The units are spacious and have very nice furniture included. Our unit also had an unbeatable view of the skyline and US Bank Stadium! The staff also occasionally gives free food and gifts to residents which is nice. We love ice cream friday!
The Elysian is a great place to live if you are a student at the U! It is a little further than other apartments, but still within walking distance. Any maintenance issues are fixed very quickly. Also, heated parking garage and free ice cream on Fridays are just some of the great amenities!
The Elysian is a fantastic place to stay if you are a student. Overall, it has great amenities, friendly staff, and a great location within walking distance of both the east and west bank campuses. For such a great price, I am very pleased with the upgraded appliances and spacious floor plans.
The Elysian apartments have been my home now for about three months. I have enjoyed my experience living there so far as my 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment has a very spacious living room area and a beautiful kitchen. The view of the city is second to none and for the price you truly cant beat it. I recommend this apartment to college students on a budget as it is a short 15 minute walk from campus and helps save money as tuition can be quite pricey.
I have never been so frustrated and upset with an apartment until I became a resident here. I haven’t officially moved in yet and the moving process fells like hell.I have lived here before back in 2015 with a completely different and positive experience.Since I officially signed the lease the treatment has been less than satisfactory. For two whole weeks (and counting) I could not get ahold of the property manager and the leasing office. However, she was available and returned my calls(and texts) prior to me signing.Yesterday, as I picked up my keys (I didn’t receive the keys to my room nor my mailbox). I went upstairs to check on my room and meet my new roommates. The entire 3rd floor SMELLS. It has a strong odor that’s unbearable! I try to get to my room and it’s locked and haven’t been cleaned. I am supposed to move in tomorrow, but can’t move in and when I do it will still be uncleaned.Per usual, no one is available. I am stuck trying to move. I called maintenance twice. Put in two urgent tickets. Still, no progress! This is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. I am disappointed with this property. Already, I am looking to move ... yet again.
Great service, maintenance fixed in a relatively swift manner. New appliances, clean spaces and good amenities, all with a great view of the downtown skyline! Management is super nice and helpful.
The Elysian is a great place to live! Great staff and attentive maintenance staff. Short walk to campus and affordable rent for working college students! couldn’t ask for a better place to live!
The Elysian is actually the best apartment I’ve lived in near campus by far! Rent is very reasonable and everyone thinks it’s such a far walk to class because it’s across 35W, but really it only takes my 15 minutes to get to the mall area! Plus we have one of the penthouse apartments with an amazing view of the city! Would strongly recommend living here!
Ellie and the rest of the management is so helpful and the building is always very clean and quiet! Wonderful place to live for college students and young adults. Plus, the street parking in the neighborhood is extremely reliable!
This is my favorite apartment that Ive lived in as a college student. The staff, residents, and community are all very kind and welcoming. The amenities and location are great too!
The management at the Elysian is great! Ellie is so helpful and friendly, and always puts on different events for the tenants. The location is the perfect distance from campus, and there is tons of parking space around the building.
A great place to live if you are looking for easy access to downtown. Bus stop right across the block has made my commute a breeze. I’ve also had a great experience with getting maintenance requests completed right away.Overall, a great location and more affordable than many other apartments in Dinkytown.
Living at the Elysian has been nothing but a positive experience. The building is always clean, management is friendly, and maintenance requests are completed quickly. I would highly recommend living here
The Elysian has been a great place to live. The units are quite large and well furnished for this area of Minnepolis, and we get lots of compliments on our apartment! The building is not super large which means it is almost always very quiet and clean. Its not too far from Dinkytown but rent is so much cheaper than just across the bridge. Ellie and the staff are very helpful and do lots of giveaways/events for the residents. Overall Id recommend the Elysian if youre looking for a high quality apartment with great prices.
I have lived in three different places throughout my time as a student at the U and The Elysian is by far my favorite! From room sizes, to amenities, to the price, The Elysian is very student-friendly! (Management also has a ton of fun events and giveaways which makes living here even more fun!)
The staff is very helpful and responds quickly to questions and maintenance requests. There are fun events and giveaways happening in the clubroom and lobby often that make living here fun!
Management is very nice, and maintenance responded same day on a plumbing issue we had. If you are a student at the U looking for a place, it is slightly farther away than other options, BUT it is fully furnished and for 5 roommates rent is lower than most other competitors. I found it to be the best choice for me, and I lived here for 2 years.
The staff is always so friendly and kind, also love all of the community involvement options like ice cream Sundaes on Fridays!!
This place has a great maintenance staff that is easy to reach and always good with communicating when they will have your issue solved.
The Elysian is a great place to live! Extremely nice and affordable and the Management and Maintenance are very helpful!
The staff that work in the office are incredibly nice and so good at their job. They reply to any complain nearly instantly and do their best to fix it. They are also just good people that know how to do their job well. The apartment is in an incredible location with pretty okay parking nearby! (Just remember to to not park out front on sundays like me or you’ll get towed( I guess that’s karma though)) All in all this apartment is great for college kids looking to be near dinky and the U campus
Close walk to campus, and in a great location! Offers great amenities, and ice cream Fridays which everyone enjoys!
Its really a nice place to live in. The management are very polite and helpful. The building is small, so youll make some friends. The apartments are big and furnished. Plus, there are a lot of available facilities. The building is near from a bus stop and some restaurants. It is also near from the Stone Arch Bridge which is really a nice place. It is 15 minutes walk from Campus. Also, they provide ice cream every Friday😂👍.
The Elysian is a nice and convenient place to live. I love the location between Dinkytown and Downtown.
I have lived here for a year and have zero complaints! The staff are always willing to help with any issues that come up. Plus, there is always free coffee, free ice cream on Fridays, and tons of other random days with other free things to give away -- whats better than that! Highly recommend!
I live near this building, the tenants are consistently having large parties and throwing food, glass and garbage out of their windows and balconies on to the parking lots, side walks and roadway. There is more than one unit contributing to this issue and Police have had to be notified as it is an ongoing occurnace and a danger to the public as there are many cars, small children, pedestrians and pets that walk or drive by daily. Management has been notified of the issue at least twice so hopefully the issue will be seriously addressed in the near future as several of the tenants here seem to be disruptive and disregard public safety.
Overall nice building but management is terrible and half of the “amenities” mentioned are not available. Really disappointing
Love ice cream fridays!
This is a beautiful building with spacious rooms! Very convenient to campus, downtown, and elsewhere being right off 35!
I have lost multiple Package deliveries from this apartment. The guy in the front desk is not even willing to check security camera for me. This happened 3 times in the last 2 weeks. and the front desk guy answer was there is nothing I can do for you
I dont live here, but we have been trying to contact management about leasing for about a month now. Weve called multiple numbers a dozen times, and no word. They responded once, said they were going to call us back to set up a tour and never did. We left our contact information on their website and nothing. We went to the building when the leasing office is supposed to be open, and it was empty.
