Love living here. Very friendly staff, maintenance always shows up promptly, its quiet, Id definitely recommend San Moritz. The only suggestions that Id make are that the landscaping could definitely use some sprucing up, and the breezeways ate in need of the cobwebs being blown clear. Otherwise, great facility.
Long Thread: Not removing this till the management handle our nightmare of a living situation. Shame on everyone *including* the management staff for not knowing or supporting their own lease agreement. They say they cant do anything about noisy neighbors driving unlawful vehicles (around 1 and 4 AM)? Apparently their own lease and a polite police officer says otherwise. The windows are so poorly insulated in the apartment so that I can hear most things happening outside my bedroom window. We have a neighbor whos taken it upon themselves to wreck the sleep of our entire building by modifying their vehicle/engine, starting it up loudly almost every morning around 1:15 AM or 4:40 AM (sometimes speeding). When we confronted the leasing office (on phone and in person) the response was distressing. The staff only cared about themselves, their problems, and their reputation, not the residents. They gave the generic customer service responses while doing NOTHING to really help the situation.1) We were told theyve heard complaints from several tenants about these SAME neighbor-yet to just keeping reporting as if thatll make things better.2)They said theyd issue a general noise complaint warning on the whole building, (since they dont want to single out people) nothing has ever been placed on our or anyone elses door3)They left it up to us to do something, as if we could, about the whole ordeal and they refuse to uphold their end of providing a quiet and safe environment.Lastly, were doing what we can to gather more evidence of wrongdoing, but trust me, its not as easy as it seems. I think the solution is obvious, start issuing warnings and even evicting the problem or our lease and everyone elses in this building is void.
It’s been amazing so far I love the space and the management team is quick on repairs and responses
Its a good place to live. It would be a great place if the management team would get out and walk the property each day.
Living at San Moritz is a dream. The manager, Emory, is so charming and understanding. Mike, the Maintenance Supervisor, keeps everything running perfectly so the grounds and community always look flawless. I have been living at San Moritz for three years come November, and I have no plans of leaving any time soon! Thank you all for everything!
My apartment at San Moritz was very nice and well-kept. The on-site amenities (pool, gym) were great to have and well maintained. If I hadn’t purchased a house, I would have happily renewed the lease.
We just renewed our lease here, our apartment is very spacious and cozy. This is our first apartment and we love it so far, the office staff is very friendly
Compared to what my family had lived in before, this place has adequate space for a 2 bed 2 bath. Also being able to choose, month by month, if we want to keep covered parking, garage, or neither when available.Payment set up in the portal was tricky. After it was completed in registering, payments are easy.Staff is pleasant in welcoming and maintenance is on their game when a problem is addressed.Parking is not convenient in front of our apartment though. It is day to day whether were in front of the office or not.Couldnt ask for better in a temporary place. Just hope for better parking arrangements if renovated later.
Always fast service. Thank you!
Very great place to live in. Two times had minor things to fix and they did the work faster than expected. Very quite, a lot of parking, and very beautiful apartment. I move from C.A a month ago and can’t complain. Walking distance to a metro station that goes to down town. Very close to the 15 and 215. Love it
I’ve lived in 3 different apartments all in Salt Lake City area and this one is by far the best one! The pricing is very fair and anytime I have a maintenance issues it’s always resolved super fast and the maintenance guys are always super friendly. Also all the staff in the office are super nice and easy to talk to. It is pretty quiet complex I never really hear my neighbors and the neighbors I have met have all been friendly!
We lived at San Moritz for 2 years and I can confidently say that it is the best Community I have ever lived in! The representatives at the office were always very accommodating, friendly and helpful. The apartment itself was everything we were looking for, very happy with the large kitchen space! The amenities were also fantastic, to say we are satisfied would but an understatement. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a new place to call home in the Midvale area!
They called and said they would come the next day to fix the ice machine. No one ever called or showed up.
It’s a beautiful area and place to stay!
Management and maintainance. Awesome. Quick, fast, super friendly. My only complaint is that I pay alot of money to live here but they cant do much about noisy neighbors. I feel its alot of money for loud neighbors (which isnt too often). Small price to pay for their quick service though!
Everyone was very helpful and kind. They did an excellent job at answering all of our questions and showing us what the property had to offer. Good pricing as well!
Best apartment I’ve lived in. I never hear any neighbors and every time I’ve called maintenance they show up the same day!
Honestly we moved in 2 months ago and everything has gone smoothly till this month, we have been charged for 2 things that were out of our control and now I’m out money that we couldn’t avoid due to tech issues, reason I gave them a 2 star and not a one is due to how much we like the apartment. It’s really nice but we are having current issues with the payment process and we were living at a different apartment with the same system with the same company and now it’s “not working” so they are charging us extra. I thought we had handled it yesterday but then got a call today that what the rep said was completely wrong and that we were being charged extra. Really confusing and upset. Update after being here 3 months, water outage 3 times and inter outage for a whole day. (Could get to work because of in home job)
Always very expedient on Requests!!
I am amazed by the amazing service I received!! I needed a hinge replaced, but the team went above and beyond. They noticed my faucet was leaking and replaced it and while doing that noticed my garbage disposal was leaking and repaired it. Above and beyond!! I am impressed at the fantastic customer care!!! Thank you
Its a very nice place to live
We looked at several apartments before moving in from another state. We decided this place looked and seemed great. Until we move in and find the apartment hadn’t been walked through. Our SERVICE ANIMALS found several nails on the ground in our apartment as I stepped on a few as well. I continue to find nails constantly on walking paths when we are walking our service animals. In the past 3 days I have found AT LEAST a dozen! I see a previous comment as well about the air filter when first moving in. Ours was never changed either. We are trying to get a few things resolved still as this is our 3rd month here. We can’t seem to get responses back from management after approx 2 weeks. There are defects in the apartment so bad that it is causing our furniture to slant forward! Causing a HUGE HAZARD FOR everyone involved. They don’t care as soon as they get you locked into the lease. If you like good customer service, honesty and communication, pick somewhere else to live!! :)
Amazing as always efficient and professional. Appreciated the quick response and helpfulness
Okay, after a year of living at San Moritz I feel I’m able to have a decent input. This place is seriously awesome. The staff and management are amazing! My husband and I were pretty nervous about apartment complex renting (we’ve previously lived with parents/roommates and could live in a single family home) but we were pleasantly surprised with our experience. We had only heard our neighbors once or twice, never had an issue with overbearing staff, extremely well kept area, kind staff/management. Honestly, we were sad to leave San Moritz but decided to upgrade to a townhouse. The only reason we did was because it was with the same Wasatch company, and we’ve had nothing but compliments for them.We are sad to go, but have head a wonderful year living here.Thank you all for everything you’ve done, you rock!
Very nice people, the service is great, taking care of problems immediately, there is answer at any time that I called, the stuff are very nice and helpful! Thank you
Ive been here since July and I have had no issues/concerns! Brad and Hailey (Manager/Assistant Manger) are amazing. Very friendly, they communicate efficiently if I have any types of questions, well organized & more! I am impressed with the lawn services this complex keeps up with. I promise its like every day I see them cleaning. Very affordable, nice, spacious units, quiet, friendly environment. They text you with updates via text if the pools are closed or office. Overall I am impressed and would highly recommend to live here to anyone!
The complex is always clean and taken care of when I come to visit my friend here. The staff is so nice and I love the pool and hot tub! One of them has a fire place next to it. Super nice!
Ive lived here for 4 years in the same apartment. Ive really enjoyed it until recently. About six months ago my building started getting notices on various topics for example, we have received complaints from your building about excessive dog feces surrounding your building. This violates the lease agreement and could lead to eviction. I dont even have a pet and Ive had this notice on my door four times in the past 6 months. The fact that its reoccurring is an indicator that you are not getting the message across to the person at fault but why must I continue to receive the notice. Other notices are about smoking, which Ive never noticed and noise disturbances, also something Ive never had an issue with in the four years living here, yet there is a new notice on my door every two weeks. I find this process to be very uninviting and unwelcoming which is never something I ever experienced here before. These notices have nothing to do with me personally, but its super uncomfortable to get a notice on your door even discussing eviction. Certainly there is a better way to communicate these issues with applicable/appropriate parties or can you simply send an email? Not to mention the waste of resources, how do you have a recycling program in place while distributing these paper notices consistently.
We’ve been living at this apartment complex for almost 4 years now and we decided to move to a two bedroom apartment before our lease ends. The staff are amazing and so easy to work with. They have been so wonderful with us all throughout the process. The management is amazing, they listen to your concerns and help in whatever way they can. Thank you so much. I highly recommend San Moritz Apartment.
I’ve lived here for over a year. For the most part I really like. But I expect for the price I pay to have the excessive cob webs and bugs that are all over the light fixtures outside every apartment door and the outside hallways cleaned. Also the stairs and hallways outside are very dirty. I wish it was cleaned on a routine schedule. I pay for “luxury “ so I don’t think it’s too much to expect a clean atmosphere.
Its lit.
We had an amazing stay at the San Moritz. Would rent here longer if we were not moving out of state. The apartments are nice and spacious. The staff are all extremely helpful. The new manager is a really nice guy and very understanding. The area is beautiful and right by the Trax station. We had one mix-up with being overcharged for rent one month, but the staff immediately fixed the problem. Overall, wonderful place to stay.
San Moritz is an outstanding property. Kind, helpful staff. Maintenance issues handled same day. Garbage pickup from your front door daily. Very pet friendly. Beautiful pool area with two hot tubs, barbecue grills, fireplace. Pool is clean and well maintained. Great residents who are friendly. I highly recommend living here.
Garage repairs needed including replacing a burned out garage door opener light, weather stripping on the entry/exit door and a door pull to be able to close and secure the entry/exit door from the inside. Also numerous exterior building lights burned out and needing replacement for safety reasons. Work was done completed perfectly and lightning fast within a few hours of the request. Exterior lighting throughout the complex is being checked over the next 2 weeks for any replacements needed.
I’ve been living at this property for about a year now, and absolutely love the staff and the community! I had an issue with my washer not working and maintenance replaced it with a brand new washer right away. Emory was so accommodating when I transferred to another unit, he really listened to my concerns and addressed all of them! Hope is so sweet, friendly, and bubbly, and Doug does such an amazing job! I consider all of the staff friends, they truly care! Love this place ❤️❤️❤️
Awesome location close to the freeway and trails. Landscaping is always looking really nice!
From the very first day I called the leasing office asking about apartments and rates from Oklahoma, before relocating to Utah and until the day of moving out, Brad and the team have been nothing short of extraordinary! I have lived in about 7 apartments in the last 8 years and the customer service here has been the best I have seen. They really take care of you! Brad made me feel comfortable and helped me book the apartment all the while living in another state. The apartment itself is very spacious (2 bedroom). Kitchen is huge. I was concerned about the Bigham road noise since the unit faced the road but Brad assured the apartment has good sound proofing - he was damn right. Fantastic location as well. While moving out, the team again was very accomodating to some requests I had.
Great apartment lay outs, relatively safe from petty crime still, responsive to service calls, and quietly insulated from other apartments.
I dont mind living here, it has all of the usual problems of an apartment complex, which is to be expected so what do you do. The staff is really helpful and friendly, parking isnt horrible, and the apartments are spacious and well kept so its not too bad. We have lived here for a year and a half though and its just not a good area. We walk our dog on the river walk behind the complex and always see drug deals and people living in the brush. Just recently someone sawed through my bike chain and stole my bike right off of my front porch. We live on the top floor so that says a lot about the kind of people that live here. Overall, not a bad place but also not amazing.
My family moved here recently and could not be happier!! Hope Rogers was an absolute joy to work with. She walked with us through every step ensuring that we understood everything from beginning to end. The Management and Staff at San Moritz are true professionals offering a living environment few can match! I look forward to a long relationship here at San Moritz and could not recommend it more!!
I am so impressed with the management at San Moritz! I am extremely allergic to cats and dogs. Before moving in, I was told that the previous resident did not own any pets. After moving in, I noticed a strong urine smell in my closet. I called and spoke with Lexi and within minutes, Ricki and Lexi were at my apartment pulling up the carpet. Although the smell was only powerful in my closet, they were concerned that I would still have a difficult time breathing in the apartment. Even though this was not their fault (the prior resident did not list an animal on the lease), they were open to any solution to make me comfortable. I asked if they could replace the entire carpet in the apartment and they agreed. I received a call back from Ricki and was told that I would be getting new carpet that same day! I was so impressed. Not only did I get new carpet, but Ricki insisted that they replace the mat and spray enzymes on the concrete to ensure I would not have any further symptoms. I have never had such a prompt and concerned landlord. I have finally found an apartment that feels like a home!
I just moved in here almost 2 months ago. I really like the apartment. I love the area, everything is so close. I just think that the stove and faucet in the kitchen could be better for being a luxury apartment. Everything else seems to be good quality but the faucet is just the cheapest. I love the high ceiling, being able to open the door and turn the light off with my phone, it’s a great apartment really. The kitchen cabinets are spacious. Also, the best person to tal to is definitely Emory. He is the best to reach out to with any questions, he tries to do his best with helping you. The others at the office are just not very welcoming nor helpful.
We have lived here for almost 2 years now and love this place. We have the attached garage and it is so nice to have that connect right to our apartment. The current staff is out of this world! We absolutely LOVE Hope.I only had one bad experience with the a member who is no longer on the team. I love the space that they give you but are always available when you need something. The maintenance team is awesome too. If we call on anything, they are there and fixing the issue. We had troubles with our drain and lock on the door and they were both fixed within 10 minutes of us calling. One of them was even fixed while we were still laying by the pool!If I am being completely honest, there are 2 minor negatives: though it says no smoking, there are MANY cigarette butts around and many tenants (or possibly visitors of tenants) that still smoke. It is pet friendly and owners are to pick up after their dogs and this does not happen as often as it should. There are certain grass areas where you definitely have to watch where you step. We also had a couple of instances where someone had parked in front of our garage but that was not the apartments fault, that was just human error.Even after mentioning those minor things, I have (and still will) highly recommend this apartment community. When our 2nd lease is up, we will most likely be renewing again. This place just feels like home.Keep up the GREAT work San Moritz!
Absolutely love living here. Weve been here for about 4 months and never had a problem. The staff are amazing and very friendly. The maintenance team is extremely fast and also friendly. The pool is nice and two hot tubs is pretty cool.
I was interested in getting an apartment there and I went to the desk to talk to them. I wait over 30min. No one helped me. The bunch of saw me there, no one did anything.
We love the apartment and the location. The staff in the office is very friendly and helpful, and the maintenance crew responds quickly and resolves the issue fast and professionally. However, many people do not pick up their dog poop, and big dogs leave big piles.
They are really nice apartments and big but WAY over priced! They dont take your situation into consideration and they will use things against you that shouldnt be able to. For a 2 bedroom your looking at 1600$ plus a month not including utilities. Only nice thing is location and how big the apartments are.
The apartments are very nice. They are luxury. I was the first one to move in to one of the units since they were built.THE CONS: I was never late, until one day I contacted the office to tell them I did not get my check until the next day and asked if they would give me a 1 day grace period. The rent was due by 5 pm, I said I would have it by next morning 7 am. no, if we do that for you then we have to do it for everyone. - I was then charged an enormous late fee. When I moved out, I had a cleaning crew come in and help me scrub the place down. The management then cleaned over everything again, and charged me a stupid amount, basically keeping all of my deposit. I had no pets, I was a clean person, and I left the place in good shape. They just wanted to keep the deposit, and there is nothing you are going to do about it.If you want a very nice place to live, that costs more than it should (just dont make yourself apartment broke) these arent bad as far as apartments go. A 2 bedroom costs as much as a rental house though.
I love living here! The management and office staff are very responsive to needs and concerns. I just renewed my lease for the third year. Yes you pay a little more, but the size and layout of my apartment is well worth it. I read reviews about it being the same as a mortgage payment. If you are ready to buy a home clearly thats the better choice. If you are like me and renting is the better option for your current needs then this is the place to be.
We dont live here (yet), but upon finding this complex online and calling their office to ask about prices, pets, and the like I spoke with Lexas (Lexus?) And I LOVE HER! She was so sweet to me even though I was just looking at the space and shopping around since my lease isnt up till June. She answered my questions the best she could, and followed up with me the next day. From what I seen during my visit the grounds are so clean and well kept, the office staff seemed great and I fell in love with the idea of living here. You guys set the bar so high and I felt welcome the minute I walked in. Thank you!
Nice apartments. Well-built. I rarely hear anything from my neighbors. I haven’t dealt with any parking issues. The property is well-maintained. Definitely the best complex I’ve ever lived in.
So I just moved in a few months ago. It’s a great place. The staff stays out of the way until you need them. Each time I have requested service they have come that day. The pool is nice, the tenants are great. The only reason I will never give the five is the media package that HAS to come with rent. Ugh. I just use internet sho cares about cable. But it’s not bad
I have just renewed my lease for another 13 months and could not be more happy about my decision. Management (Emory) is wonderful! The support staff are all very nice. The maintenance crew is on top of their game. In general, this property exceeds my expectation and they deliver is all areas! I am looking forward to my 2nd year in my lovely apartment! Thank you all for doing a great job!
Walked into my apartment to find an uninvited maintenance worker smoking in my apartmentYou can’t make this stuff up
Maintenance team are very professional and attention to details. Excellent team and very friendly.
I am still currently on a lease here and I cant wait for it to be over. I am not even half way through my lease and I am overall unsatisfied. The apartment itself I LOVE - area is also decent and fairly central. The staff....another story. SO unprofessional, and disorganized. They each promise you different things and then when you talk to someone else in the office they say something completely different. Weve actually had them leave us a voicemail and forget to hang up and continue to talk badly about myself and my roommate. Weve already been screwed out of money from them and they continue to just want more from us. The gym is terrible, the hot tub NEVER works, and they dont even acknowledge these complaints or concerns. They are actually very hard to contact and get a response from as well, and when you do go into the office you are ignored. We almost went with the Lofts for $100 more, and wish we did. The grounds dont seem to be cared for very well either, sidewalks always have dirt all over them and grass and rocks covered in dog poop. Appliances are cheap and fall apart easily or make a lot of noise...But if you are the person who keeps to them-self, I think you will enjoy the overall large space in the apartment.
Its decent living here. I had an issue with my water, but maintenance was able to get the issue resolved same day from placing my ticket. Management seems friendly and reasonable. My apartment is fairly nice, and very clean upon move in. I have only been here for 4 months, but dont really have too many complaints.
Living here is a great way to spend a ton of money. If you live here, be sure you can fork out a good chunk of cash monthly. I typically pay $80-$100 just on water trash & sewer. Absolutely ridiculous. My girlfriend and I ran into some financial issues, and hours/pay got cut drastically. The leasing office would not cut us any slack, after we offered to pay a month of rent after we give a 30 day notice. They wanted 2 months of rent plus $1500 for us to move out! THAT TOTALLED TO OVER $4000.00 FOR US TO MOVE OUT! You would think that if someone is struggling to pay rent, it would be best to find a more affordable place to live, right? Now were stuck, barely scraping by, just dying to get out of here.Hopefully a member of the leasing office can read this, put themselves in someone elses shoes, and understand our situation. Living here has been a long, drawn out, crippling hell.Aside from milking your bank account dry, the maintenance team is lacking. They simply poured bleach into my malfunctioning dishwasher, which did nothing. During the snowy months, dont expect to see the lot plowed and sidewalks salted when you leave for work in the mornings. Its understandable that the property is rather large, but a larger staff can easily accommodate it.At least the staff are accessible, grounds typically look clean, and the floor plans are great.
Very nice community. Spacious and well designed units. Helpful office and maintenance staff who are very efficient and prompt in their work. Great location close to all important amenities.Highly recommended to all.
Ive been living in this apartments for about a year and a half and it is a nice place. I love the style of the buildings, the stone finish and the lights at night just make it look really elegant. Ive noticed maintenance could improve more, the side walls by my apartment look like there has been something thats been splashed on and it looks horrible, I already told management so hopefully they take care of this. Overall, really peaceful, nice, elegant, little pricey, maintenance needs improvement.
Awesome stafff . Well maintain community. Love it.Every stafff in office is very curtious and professional.
Make sure you never go month to month because they charge over $500 extra a month and with a 60 day notice required to move out its hard avoiding at least one month getting charged the month to month rate
Nice apartment complex. I have always felt very safe while being outside. Friendly support staff at the office. Only issue I have is the appliances are cheap and it takes me at least two washes to get my dishes somewhat clean in the dish washer.
This is a really nice apartment complex. The staff is very friendly and responsive. The community environment here is really nice in the spring and summer. I truly love the pool and grill area. However, the amenities and parking are not in-line with the rate for rent. You can go across the street to the newer complexes and rent nicer apartments for 300-500 dollars less. And the amenities are better.I believe that they will have to drop the rental rate here to compete with the newer complexes that are being built for lower rent.
Horrific communication. Do not move here. I was moving here from another state. You know how stressful that is if you have done it before. I was doing all of the coordination from the state I previously lived. They were super responsive and I felt so excited about moving to San Moritz UNTIL I gave them my $250 fee to hold the apartment. Then there was complete silence on their behalf. I called and emailed and got no response for over a week. I didn’t know what to do! I called my credit card company and they agreed they just took my money and ran so they refunded it to me. At that point I was completely stuck and needed a complex to live so I found a place five minutes down the road that is way better. I get a call from San Moritz weeks later on the day I should have moved in asking where I was?! Are you kidding me?! I then received a notice saying that I owed them $250 and that it was going to collections. I emailed and called to try and sort out the issue but I heard NOTHING. All they want is your money and if they don’t get it well then straight to collections so they can dust their hands of it. DISGUSTING business practices! The irony is the complex I moved too has San Moritz employees living at it. What does that tell you?! Joke of a place. Do not move to SM!
Kai was awesome very knowledgeable always true to her word and polite.
I love the apartment! Its affordable, maintenance is quick, the office staff are beyond helpful, and its just a nice place to live. So glad I found San Moritz!
I have lived in a multitude of apartments and San Moritz is by far my favorite. Our floor plan for a two bedroom was very spacious, kitchen was beautiful, fireplace, washer and dryer and the amenities were fantastic (swimming pool, year round hot tubs, small gym). I have lived here with my roommate for two years and we have been treated really well. Their service department has a bunch of good guys working for them and they are quick to fix any problems and are very nice. In fact they greet me every morning before I leave to work. San Moritz also keep their buildings and site very clean by implementing rules for trash pickup and ensuring dog poop gets cleaned up too as that was a problem when I first moved in but has since been resolved. San Moritz is also very innovative. For instance they are always looking on how to improve and be better than other complexes. One innovation is the Dwelo app that you can download that enables you to control your apartments lighting, front door lock and heating/cooling. This was very useful for my roommate and I.Pros: Friendly landlords and service team, quick to respond to issues (within a day or hours!), beautiful and clean apartment complex, spacious luxury floor plans, and relatively one of the cheapest luxury apartments in the area. Parking is plentiful and is never an issue even when they repaved all of their lots.Cons: The Conservice you have to have that covers water and sewer and unfortunately trash. The trash is $15 a month for a valet service that comes 5 days a week to take your trash and recycle. This is great for people who are lazy, but although I live on the third floor the dumpster is very close to my building and I dont mind having to walk down to it. I wish this was an optional service. All in all I highly recommend San Moritz
I agree with a lot of people who have already left reviews, I do love the apartment unit itself. But dont hold your breath when it comes to the Amenities that come with your apartment. I had a ten month lease for this apartment. For the first three months, none of the treadmills in their very small gym. I asked on several occasions if they were going to be fixed. Each time, their response was the guy who handles the repairs was notified and would fix it soon.Their hot tubs are another story. I dont know who manages them, but their is always something wrong. Very few times have I gone to the hot tub and both were functioning properly. For the price we pay for these apartments, they really should at least have those working.
I moved into a 2 bedroom apt in 2013 (west side of the complex), I loved the building, the unit and the neighbors, they were quiet never had a problem and couldnt hear them at all. The 2 bedroom was clean with working appliances and what looked like new carpet. I was impressed so I decided to renew my lease and transfer to a 3 bedroom. In 2014 I transferred to a 3 bedroom (east side). The breeze ways are not as clean, I think they could use a good power wash. The carpet was cleaned however after it dried you can see the wear & tear and stains from the previous renters. the appliances are older and the dishwasher doesnt work properly, I have to run it twice. The parking around the building sucks so I choose to pay an additional $15.00 for 2 covered stalls however they are NOT monitored by management. People who are not paying for a stall are parking in them anyway, I know this because 1-2 times a week someone is parked in our stalls. The first time I called the office I was told to call a tow company and have it towed. That shouldnt be my responsibility. The neighbors across and next to me are quiet, have pets, don’t hear a thing. Now the neighbors BELOW me I can hear everything, I can’t figure out if it is a dog or if it is kids! They leave their garbage bag next to the dumpster because the kid that takes it out cannot get it into the dumpster, I have witnessed this! I haven’t said anything to management after the parking stall issue, I didnt think they would care. No need to waste my time. Not sure i will stay another year.
Such a great place to live, the prices its fear and the management super friendly. I definitely recommend this place.
DO NOT LIVE HERE! If I could leave negative stars I would. Nothing wrong with the apartments but the management company is the worst property management company I’ve ever experienced. I recommend staying as far away from Wasatch Property Management as possible.
Very overpriced be prepared to pay around 1,100 for a one bedroom. They literally have no parking available ever. Be prepared to walk 10 min after you park to get to your apartment. When we moved in no one told us we could use their big moving truck they have specifically for new renters so we paid for our own only to learn we could have used theirs a few months later. They contract with a towing company that prowls the area 24/7. We parked in a spot that ended up being handicapped although the logo on the road was completely faded and the sign they placed was covered by the tree branches. We parked to unload groceries then were leaving again and by that time a tow truck had pulled up and started the towing process. I had to pay $77 dollars to get him to undo it. He told me if they would have towed it then it would have been $208 that is the most expensive tow company Ive ever seen. All around crappy complex
I love living here. Absolutely the best place Ive rented anywhere in the state.Maintenance is unbelievably responsive.Management is very professional and helpful. The property is well taken care of and always clean.
Came in here to visit a family member. The grounds were well kept and landscaped. The buildings were nice. High ceilings added value. Im unsure of rent cost.
I only have fabulous words to say about all of the administrative staff at San Moritz! Every single one of them have been professional, have gone beyond and have been extremely pleasant with all of my questions and interactions.
Since the beginning we have had a bad experience with this apartment complex. First day- they had the wrong apartment available for us. Neighbors are big complainers. Staff contradict themselves all the time. Every time we call with questions they give us attitude. Not enough parking. Just not a good experience with the apartments overall. They need to be trained to be more knowledgeable, treat their tenants with respect because at the end of the day, part of our rent payments go to their salaries. And regardless of that, it’s just part of customer service. Be nice.Ps. Don’t move here.
I have enjoyed living at San Moritz apartments. They have great customer service, repairs are fixed in a timely manner, the grounds are kept nice and its surprisingly quite for apartment living. I would highly recommend San Moritz.
I love living at San Moritz its nice and peaceful and you really get allot more space and allot of storage for even a one bedroom apartment.
Upon moving in it was great. Services. Very friendly staff. Great maintenance services. But when it came time to leave they started adding extra charges. We did break our lease but we paid everything as we should and then things got difficult. They do not have a cleaning list of how to leave the apartment. Its like they say oh just basic clean and then they slap you with cleaning charges later. They charge you up to $40 to cover up picture hanging nail holes, which to me is ridiuclous. They do not notify you of these extra charges. Their employees are not on the same page. I called multiple times to make sure I didnt have anything else to pay before leaving and got multiple responses. It has been a nightmare trying to leave the apartments. They just want your money! Over priced for everything. I dont know if they lost my money or put it on a different apartment. I liked it their until the end. Some of the staff have not been kind to my husband on basic things. Just frustrating. Some staff come off as arrogant. Unless you have the high end money to live here. I wouldnt. I dont normally write reviews but this has been really bad for us.
We liked this place at first, we were just out of college and we were excited to be free and live a higher lifestyle, however, I discovered that you live in those types of places, youre gonna see a lot of spoiled snotty people. The first week in there, the parking was horrible so I had to park outside the lines. The next day I see a nasty note on my window with obscenities about my parking job (which wasnt my fault). Already we found out we were sharing the complex with immature people... The staff is helpful and Ive never had to wait very long to be seen for questions or mail, but the maintenance staff sometimes never came at ALL when I would call and request a service. Id have to call again and it was a coin toss to see if they would finally come. Also, be prepared to never see your deposit again. When we left, we left our apartment clean and move-in worthy, and yet, they took our entire deposit and made us pay $300 for cleaning, when it was normal wear and tear... there was nothing worth $300 of damage or cleaning to do. It was absolutely ridiculous... I almost dont want to pay it but I just wanted to be rid of them. The rent is really expensive, the only reason we moved in was because it was on a lease deal for $400 cheaper. It was worth it for the most part, but were so glad were done with apartments. Id go over to Florentine. They are a bit cheaper and their staff is much more friendly and serving I hear. Less luxury, but worth it.
I have been very pleased since I moved here! The staff has been fabulous from the beginning. The apartments are nice & spacious. The big open kitchen was the top seller to me. It doesnt have that small feeling that you get from most apartments. Whenever Ive had to have maintaince over, they have been very prompt & thorough. I also rarely hear any of the neighbors, so the thicker walls are definately a plus as well!
Hot tubs are always not working, and gym equipment are not working a lot of the time as well. I walk all the way to the hot tub in cold weather in my swimming suit to find out that both hot tubs are out of order. This has happened multiple times. If you want to use these amenities, dont live here!!! If you dont, its not a bad place.
I have some questions regarding your sober living facilities that you run with New Roads Behavioral Health on your property. How does that work? Do clients/ins pay for this? Does New Roads Behavioral Health profit from this?
I have become quite fond of living here at San Moritz and happy to call it home.I would recommend it to family and friends! The maintenance staff is hands down amazing!
Lived here for a year and over that time its been mostly pleasant. If you need something fixed, its usually done within the next day and its always done well. I wouldnt say the office staff is the most friendly but they werent particularly rude either, just apathetic. The worst part of living here are the pet owners who dont pick up after their dogs. There will always be poop around the premise. Lastly, rent is very unreasonable. We had a $1300/month contract for a 13 month contract and when we wanted to extend for 6 months, it would have been almost $1600/m or $1950 per month for month to month. Dont expect any discounts for completing contracts. Also, their moving truck is only for moving IN. You cant use it to move furniture while living there or if youre moving out.
A bit above average overall for an apartment complex, but thats not saying much. They have the usual hidden fees like other apartment places, but the quality of living is good.Tip: look out of their trash service called conservice which really is a con of a service. Cost a lot and will charge you late fees even tho youre on auto-pay, annoying.
Moving into these apartments was awesome! We moved in on a promotion they had to get a free month they made the process so easy to get in and then living there is a different story! You can NEVER get maintenance to come look at anything. The hot tubs are NEVER WORKING! They messed up more than once with their auto pay and charged me rent 2x in a month then took 3 weeks to refund me a check....like thats ok! The manager Ricky is the biggest crook I have ever met! She will say or do anything to youre face to get you out of her office. When we moved out after staying for 2 years signed off and said the apartment looked good and we would get a credit for the prorated rent (since we were leaving on the 20th of the month) so we moved out and got a bill for an ADDITIONAL $400!!!!! They should have credited us $360 for the prorated Rent, kept it and we still owed! The apartment was in perfect condition! We knew they would charge $100 or so for cleaning but what in the world was the rest for?!!! We didnt have a copy of our signed release. Didnt thinkWe needed it. And I just paid the balance today because they threatened to take us to collection over the balance! I wouldnt tell anyone to move here!
Was very satisfied in working with this community as potentially being a home. Customer service exceeded anything Ive experienced in working through an apartment leasing process. Could not believe how helpful the property manager, Rikki, was. Can not, and could not thank her enough for the effort she has shown me in my experience with her.Apartmetns are a littel pricey, but from what Ive seen, worth the money. Based on my experience alone, Id encourage friends to explore San Moritz for an apartment any day.
I love this place, the apartments are beautiful. The only down side is parking is kind of limited but other than that I love it here.
This has been by far the worst move-in I have experienced. This is my 2nd time moving into San Moritz and this move-in was far worse than my 1st stint here. The apartment was not cleaned AT ALL. Nails were left on the ground, my foot found a few of them, and my service dogs found others that I had to dig out of their mouths, the dishwasher is unusable, the kitchen faucet is installed backwards, and to top it off, our apartment is slanted! There is a longer list of issues that are not listed here but are listed on our move-in inspection sheet and we took pictures.Location is great and storage is pretty good but for what they charge, it is not worth it. Amenities do not exist here - Pool (closed by 6pm during summer time), gym is barely bigger than the living room floor plans with outdated gym equipment, on-site office has been removed and turned into offices for their corporate office team, and the clubhouse space has been turned into the corporate offices personal kitchen/lounge.Again, for what you are being charged here there are newer places with more to offer for the same price.
Dont live here. I would be happy to elaborate but all the other 1 star reviews of this place hits the nail on the head. Save yourself money and a headache, dont live here.
Slowly turned into a Dump.! It was just an o.k. place 2 years ago. :-) - Nothing to brag about. This place used to be top notch and desirable, but is old and used up now.Only the Show and Model Units still have good working Faucets and Appliances. Once you live here, you will slowly notice that the Water Pressure goes lower and lower, The Sinks and Faucets start leaking, and the whole place falls apart on you. Constantly have to have the poorly paid mechanics in your place patching up things. The ads and marketing materials, awards, etc... are 3-4 years old, and the place is run down from overuse. It is badly in need of refurbishing. (If the want to keep up the overpriced rents) They do paint the outside frequently and do external make-up maintenance, but the interiors are rotting away. The walls are paper thin, the paint flakes off, and the equipment is beyond repair, just there for show. The Lofts Apartments across the street are a better bargain for $100 more, but they are brand new ;-). (also Wasatch Management, the same company) The Units inside Moritz have aged Appliances, Horrible W/D and faucets leak and break too frequently. Everything leaks, is used up and needs repair, or an upgrade. This place is just too overpriced for the value you receive now. A few years ago, their lofty and high rental price would have been justified in that years market. But today, its just greedy and insane to be so complacent and under the illusion, that they still have a viable product to compete..... Management lost touch with reality there, at St. Moritz/ Wasatch Management. IF they would re-invest the cash they are making of a fully paid off infrastructure, (They are cranking green money, and cleared their ROI), - if they would re-invest some of that cash to upgrade the interiors, upgrade to some new Appliances, put in new Sinks, replace the Tubs, Install new Carpet and replace the floors, new Doors, they would be able to stay competitive and offer a high quality product. Right now, and without lifting a finger, they are going down the drain..... Soon they will have to convert these units to Low Income Units, which would also be fine if they really wanted to dump the place.... You are safer and better off elsewhere.! There are so many more choices available, where you will be happier than in this Dump, paying premium prices for 50% of what they are really worth.....
We have lived here for over 6 months now and for the most part we love it! The apartments are well priced for what you get. They advertise as luxury apartments, and they are that. With the furniture we have, our apartment looks AMAZING. We live on the 2nd floor and we do encounter a lot of noise with the people above us, it sounds like kids are always running around or they are always hammering something. The 3-hour maintenance is very helpful and they work with you to come at a decent time that works for you. We have only had one bad experience with this and it was pretty recent. Our fridge was making a really loud sound that was not normal and they offered to bring us a new one, well when they brought the new one, the door was all banged up and looked like they retrieved it from a yard sale. But, we quickly called them and told them we were unsatisfied and they fixed it. We shouldnt have received such a low quality fridge in the first place, but glad that they fixed it. The pool area is really nice and has two hot tubs. The gym is very low quality. They have machines that look like they are from the 80s. They have an aerobic ball that is hard as a rock and looks 10 years old. I have asked them to replace it (They are like $10 at Walmart) and it still has not been replaced. I would recommend anyone to move into these apartments if it was in your budget. They rock!
I do like these apartments, its in a nice area, the office people are very nice and helpful, maintenance is amazing and very quick to respond to any issues. A few things I dont like, they almost always have issues with the hot tubs being shut down, parking is bad especially with so much construction in the area, and they are expensive for what youre getting.
We moved in at the San Moritz back in September of 2013. This is hands down the nicest apartment I have ever seen! Yes, the rent is pricey but its worth it for what you get.For example, our living room fan went out this morning. We called maintenance and the gentleman came to fix it super fast. In fact, he is working on it as I type this! Not only are they fast and responsive, but their maintenance people are friendly, polite, and always 100% professional. I feel comfortable with them in my apartment and that means a lot.Management is always lovely to work with, too. I had a banking problem a few months back where the bank came back and told San Moritz that my account didnt exist, causing my rent to bounce. I panicked and got pretty snippy with Lexi about it. She put up with me being a total jerk and instead of getting upset, she just let me vent and then talked me through a solution. They didnt charge us the returned check fee, either. I apologized profusely for taking my frustration out on Lexi, and she was so gracious about the whole thing. I hope I am as nice as she is when I grow up.The only cons at the San Moritz is that the linoleum in our dining room is bubbling. Its not a big deal, but we kind of hoped for better flooring quality. But thats ok. Everything else is awesome so I cant complain!
Comfortable housing, pricey but more affordable than other places in the area. Management is attentive for the most part.
Ive lived here for a year and its hands down the best complex Ive even looked at. Management is awesome. The apartments are nice and affordable. The pool is clean, there are 2 hot tubs, and the area is huge. Ive never been charged weird fees. Rent has never been messed up. Dogs are cleaned up after. Sidewalks always shoveled in the winter. There IS parking... if you get home late at night you might have to park a building down but if taking a few extra steps is an issue for you, please go buy a house. The only issues Ive had were:-that one of the people who were supposed to move in with me had a few misdemeanors (literally for nothing bad at all. Small things) but they didnt explain in the applying process that they didnt even allow people with misdemeanors, as most complexes just exclude felonies. The application didnt even have the word misdemeanor on it if I remember correctly. This counts for anything, even something as small as a DUI you got 6 1/2 years ago. So that was a little frustrating.- matainence guys came, I am a 20 y/o girl with anxierty and was home alone, so I asked my boyfriend to come over just to put my mind at ease.... but after the guys left they went to the office and said we had somebody subletting and I ended up with a comply or vacate note on my door which was taken care of immediately so it wasnt even a big deal. More just annoying that they assumed and didnt ask.- I fell into my door and broke it and it took a little bit to actually get a new one, and when it did come, it wasnt cut correctly so instead of charging us for the door, they did it ll for free due to the inconvenience... it was awesome though bcecause the guys were to my apartment within 3 hours of me notifying them (which is AMAZING if youve ever lived in any other complex. Its actually what Ill miss the most) and had the order placed that day. I did have to go in and check on the status of the door a few times, but again, if a small issue like that is a big deal to you, buy a house and fix your own doors. All in all, I absolutely love this complex. They do an amazing job at keeping it clean and friendly for the residents and their guests. Im moving out next month and Im so sad to leave because I know I wont find a place as great as this.Ps: If you would like to see that my review is legitamite, please look up 47 settlers point apartments and scroll through until you find my name. That review isnt pretty.
Worst place to live. It used to be good before but not any more. Rude staff and no proper maintenance.
