My sister and I have been living here for a year and just recently renewed our lease. We enjoy living here and like what they offer. Maintenance is always quick on the site if there are any problems and management has always been easy to contact and have been friendly, especially Cassandra. The pool and gym are always kept clean which is always plus! The only reason i gave 4/5 stars is due to how expensive the rent can be. You are paying for some great features, but it can be a wee bit ridiculous sometimes. Overall, I still love living here.

In addition to that, he is knowledgeable about what he is doing and explained it to me as he was working. Making me feel confident in his abilities as well.

Management is rude and totally uncooperative. We are paying $80 per month for a poor internet connection. While moving in, Cassandra committed to allow lease transfer for our apartment but now when we actually needed it, they totally denied it.I moved here last May, but the gym and pool is closed since then due to pandemic while public gyms are open. But we are still paying for these amenities. You pay for carports and still your car isnt safe here. On top of it, sprinklers are so poorly placed that my car got thick water spots everywhere when I was out of town. I paid $200 bucks to get it cleaned.Apartments arent that bad but its management that makes your experience totally worst here. We are stuck here until April and I dont recommend this place to anyone.I have been living in apartments since 2012 and I have changed 4 different apartments in 4 different cities but never had such a bad experience with management before

Left the place immaculate on move out with only one nail hole to touch up. The two guys doing the walk through said it was one of the cleanest theyve seen and yet we just got a $150 bill for carpet repairs and $25 for paint touch ups????The location is great but youll be dealing with a very shady management company I half expected this as weve had issues throughout the lease, not just during our move out.On several occasions we found extra charges in the monthly rent which they couldnt explain and had to credit us when we questioned it. If you move here watch your bills careful and expect a repair bill even if you leave the place in perfect condition.

The location of this apartment complex is great and management and maintenance has been good to deal with. The biggest issue living here is noise. Not just the noisy neighbors above us but living in such close proximity to the train tracks. The night trains are so loud they wake us from our sleep. Plus the construction thats been going on across the river (on new apartments and South Valley Water) starts early, around 5:30 - 6:00 a.m. and doesnt end for about 12 hours. Thats been going on for over a year and contributes to noise pollution as well. Because of these things I would caution people to move here.

Shady management, is all I have to say. It was superb at first and loved the area, but as time went on; I started noticing management would do nothing about the complaints I was presenting. Then was getting hit with all these hidden fees, bad neighbors who couldn’t mind their business.Great area, would not recommend in the slightest.

Overall, the Lofts is a good community and location. Maintenance staff is probably the best I’ve ever dealt with Compared to anywhere I’ve lived before.Internet problems are consistent and interfere daily if you work from home. Being that it’s mandatory that I pay $90 a month for Internet as part of my agreement, I would have hoped I’d have better Internet service, faster, and with fewer outages.Issue with flooring “buckling” and i was promised new floors over a year ago but still have not received. Management has been aware of this for over a year and still never resolved.

The Lofts are great apartments, with wonderful amenities and friendly and helpful maintenance staff. However, I feel obligated to warn potential renters that I do not recommend living at The Lofts if you are not a dog owner, or if youre a responsible dog owner who follows the rules of keeping your pet on a leash. The unleashed dogs have gotten out of control in recent months, with animals running wild outside and poop in the grass so at times it feels like living in a giant dog park rather than an apartment complex - which is odd because The Lofts HAS a spacious fenced-in dog park for that very purpose.A major perk of living at The Lofts is the location and the gorgeous walking areas (like the Jordan River Trail just outside), but its not even pleasant to enjoy the property because of the unleashed dogs. Im not sure if somethings changed and its no longer required to keep dogs on leashes, but just keep that in mind if youre not a dog owner because its really the only negative side of living here.

Very disappointed with this apartment community. Despite paying $90 for internet, we get low speeds with frequent interruptions and unplanned outages.Gym and pool are only opened from 9.30 to 5.30pm. Not sure why they cannot change it to appointment based system while keeping it open all day. Apartments has carpets of poor quality. Trash valet comes thrice a week and only picks the recyclable trash.Higher Management doesnt seem to be interested in solving any of the above simple problems.

I have lived at the Lofts since Feb and I am really pleased! Management is extremely friendly, they love dogs and even offer treats for them in the lobby. Our whole complex is always clean with blooming flowers and maintenance working on stuff every day. The pool is well kept & is big enough to accommodate lots of people through the summer. I feel as though the communication is always really clear between management and tenants. I also have to rave about the fact I haven’t seen any hidden charges or random expenses with my bills here. I was skeptical to rent here but this is by far the best renting experience I have had.I would also like to add that my A/C went out last week for a couple days, I put in a maintenance request and they responded to my door within in an hour and 24 hours the problem was fixed. Management even called to apologize. Definitely recommend it here!!

I have lived at the Lofts@7800 for about 6 months so far and I can honestly say its my favorite placed Ive ever rented. The Management here is truly excellent and quite responsive to any of our needs. The units are quiet and the landscaping is beautiful. Unlike other places Ive rented there is actually an abundance of parking stalls and I never have to drive around to find one. The proximity to the Jordan River Trail and Trax is also quite appreciated. Overall just an excellent place to live, would highly recommend.

The management works with their renters with extreme unprofessionalism. Management is rude with crazy attitudes and with actions that equate to fraud. They tried to get a huge early move-out fee illegally, which they then justified with a miscommunication after a lawyer got involved. Renters talk and we protest their low-life behavior. I am a professional, renting until my home is built. Good people unite against the bad!!!

The apartment itself is very nice. Its a contemporary style with all the amenities youd need. However this is where things end when it comes to positives. After 9 months of living here, words cant describe how terrible management at this location is. These individuals truly think they are better then you. First they scam you by taking a refundable deposit which they know youll never get back even if you leased the apartment and didnt live in it. This is their actual expectations of cleanliness they expect. Second, they constantly send out messages for useless purposes which serve no purpose other then to annoy the hell out of you and ultimately lead you to the conclusion that this is as close to a concentration camp as someone can get to. Roxanne the manager who took over Emery(who was a great manager) walks around with her chin up as if she is running a Beverly Hills Golf Club house. They treat their tenants like sheep, this is what one truly feels like living here. Its actually amazing how theyve managed to gather so many special individuals under one roof. The only person aside from Emery who is not in that category is Jessica who had been very helpful and great to work with all along.Dont let the looks of these apartments fool you however if you do, youll be hitting yourself in the head when it comes time to move out when you realize what elitists run this place.

I just signed my 3rd lease and have had nothing but positive experiences. I see a lot of comments about an “unexpected” media package (cable) charge. This is VERY clearly explained when signing the lease agreement. I’m also pretty sure I had to sign off on it as part of said agreement. No place is going to have 100% positive reviews but as someone who doesn’t want to be tied down by owning a house and has lived in multiple complexes in the valley, this is a great alternative. I do wish they didn’t require the media package because I disagree with the ethics of the cable provider but it WAS NOT something that went unexplained when I chose to live here.Pros:* Clean and often empty hot tub during winter months.* Clean and we’ll maintained outdoor pool all summer long.* Recycling that is picked up at your door (yes, even the 3rd floor) multiple times a week with bin provided* Maintenance that responds timely and fixes what’s necessary (things can’t always be perfect)* The office folks are very nice and easy to work with* Text service to notify of the apartment complex events and happenings* Third of the month and haven’t paid rent because life happens and sometimes we forget? They will call and politely remind you (I’ve been saved by this a few times!)* Dog friendly with an on-site dog park (love my neighbors dogs!)* Enforced non smoking policy.* Amazon packages are nearly always delivered perfect. I’ve had one package out of MANY (75+) delivered to the wrong place and let’s admit, The Lofts can’t control what’s delivered where. (It was returned by a kind neighbor across the street who received it)Cons:*The required media package does suck but don’t be fooled that it is some hidden undisclosed charge.*Traffic on Euro Dr. can drive quite fast. While it’s not The Lofts fault, petitioning Midvale City to put (much needed) speed bumps on the road will fix this up very quick.Take the other reviews with a grain of salt. All that being said, I enjoy living here and it’s a great place.

*Not a smoke-free environment* Honestly, Ive loved living at The Lofts because of the location, modern units, pet friendly aspect and the amenities. The office managers are very nice and I appreciate what they do. However, I recently moved units and for the last 6 weeks the men in the unit below me have been smoking 3-4 times per day (that I know of) on their balcony, in broad daylight. No smoking on the property *whatsoever* is one of the strictest rules there, yet these residents have been able to continue living there and continue to smoke every single day and I cannot use my balcony or have my windows open. Multiple times Ive been told the regional office has been contacted and it would be addressed, but in the last 6 weeks there has been *no* resolution. These men were told to comply or vacate roughly 5 weeks ago, yet theyve openly smoked daily since then with plenty of residents seeing, with no end in sight. Two weeks ago I was told it would be resolved soon. I have an auto-immune disease and pay more for rent than my home mortgage, only to have cigarette smoke smell non-stop. I even added an extra seal to my patio door, and its coming into my unit and in the vents. They are smoking inside their apartment as well as outside. For a luxury complex they should take things like this more seriously. Children and babies should not have to breathe second-hand smoke every day in a complex like this. Its unacceptable.

I liked living at The Lofts, however, I feel it is VERY over priced. I paid $1350 a month for a ONE bedroom. I lost my job in July and was able to make things work until October. My lease was up in November. I paid a deposit over $2k. They evicted me, charged me 2k for breaking the lease and then sued me for over 3k. Now I cant find anywhere to live because no one will approve someone with a prior eviction unless its paid in full. They are garnishing my wages so its getting paid, but I need a place to live now. A ton of money for a very small space and having it ruin my life in the long run.

About a year and a half living here though is when we started having problems and decided to move. There is a no smoking on property policy but it seems like it’s just a guideline, because there were countless times people would be out on their balconies smoking and nothing would be done about it.My wife’s car was broken into twice, in the last six months of us living there. So that was the final reason for us leaving. Some advice, when you’re moving out take pictures of everything, and do the final walk through with the inspector. Be very careful about this apartment complex. I left on the exact date my contract ended, but they suddenly sent me a $3,059.87 ‘early leave’ charge. I’ve been working back and forth with attorneys on this and they said “This is mind blowing and we see a lot of cases. Unethical. They deliberately added this charge because they know bleeding their tenants with attorney fees causes most people to just settle.”Keep in mind, I went exactly by the book. They still decided to find every possible reason and justification to charge this fee. Knowing it would cost me more in attorney fees than settling. These people are crooked and should not be trusted. They will put on a ‘happy, soft, gentle face’ just to gaslight others into believing this type of stuff doesn’t happen. Just a word of warning, be careful with this company. And like others said, they force an additional monthly charge of $140 to use their internet — and cable that no one would ever use — because it’s 2019 and no one gives a **** about cable anymore. (Also, when — not If — your internet goes down, they are only open while you’re at work from 9-5pm to help you. And not on the weekends.)They’ll tell you the rent is $X amount cheaper, then silently add this forced ‘media package’. Thusly, you become stuck paying for something you can reach use for 1 1/2 yrs. I would’ve happily paid double the amount to another apt complex not to deal with these people ever again. Again, crooked, unethical, and blatantly desperate for money. They don’t care about their tenants — it’s just a dirty business.Lastly, there will be a social media person managing PR on this post and replying with “thank you for your feedback.” It’s social media 101 that’s meant to paint this as a purely emotional reaction. Don’t be fooled.

Overall I have really enjoyed living here for the year I have. The pool area is great, with both a large pool and hot tub and two large grills to compensate for the county policy that residents cannot have an open flamed grill on their patio. The pool is closed often due to other residents staying after curfew and glass bottles in the pool area and even broken glass in the hot tub and pool(such problems were solved quickly and reopened). The gym and video training room are great for a small community and saved me from paying for a gym membership. The grounds are well taken care and include a kids playground, designated animal area as well as an open area to relax and kick or throw a ball around. As a runner/cyclist, having access to the Jordan Parkway system was great! Close to Trax and several major roads at a central location in the valley is probably my favorite part! The apartment itself is great. A few draw backs; having a water heater outside during extremely cold months really drives up the gas bill and the hot water never gets as hot as I would like! My apartment did not use the A/C or heater for about 4-5 months as it maintained comfortable temps. Parking is rough and expensive at $20 per month for a single spot(no spots included in lease agreement). The parking is not enforced. Nearly two dozen times my spot was taken and after several complaints, nothing was ever done. Others continue to park in covered parking that is not yet reserved, and management does not seem to bother to enforce it as it has gone on for the entire time that I have been here.Overall, if I was not moving out of the valley, I would continue to stay here, but the price is on the steep side.

We wanted so badly to be able to give the Lofts on 7800 a 5 star review, however our experience here deserves nothing more that 1 star raring. My wife and I had signed a 15 months lease, during which we experienced a new level of micro-management that we almost felt like we where in the penitentiary system. The management was not customer service oriented and frankly rude. We paid about 1350.00(utilities and rent) a month for the top floor 1 bedroom apartment; with that price point you would expect a certain experience. Not only was the customer service incredibly laking, the maintenance was a joke. We went with out power for nearly 24 hours. I made several request to fix the issue and was finally was contacted nearly 48 hours later. This is just one of many negative issues that we experienced. Our sincere recommendation would be to NOT lease from the Lofts and find a different location, or better yet purchase a home like we did.We find it almost comical that they have an auto response to every review, but the negative reviews continue to occur, and in our experience nothing is being done to address the negative issues.

Theres the canal trail right behind the complex, a free bike garage, a fenced dog park, open grass spaces, dog mess pickup stations, the units are modern and feel high-end, lots of natural light, the ceilings are high. The demographic of folks living here seems to be a lot of young, active, friendly people. Close proximity to the freeway, tax, Gardner Village, restaurants, Top Golf, Winco, Southtowne Mall and other places. Its been surprisingly quiet as well, but at the pool everyone is nice and social. The only small complaint I have is that some of my electrical outlets dont work. I moved from a house to an apartment and was afraid it wouldnt feel as nice. I live on the top 3rd floor so I do not know if this plays a big factor or not. The doors slam/close very loudly/heavily. The appliances and maintenance is next day great and this entire place is very new and has that feel of new and modern. This place has a great atmosphere in the summer with pool and all year hot tub and outdoor grills and gym. Has one of the best/only dog parts within a 10 minute drive I am told so that is awesome. This place is very pet friendly with easy access disposal/bag units around the outside areas. One bad thing is they make you go through Direct TV which is horrible the worse tv/internet service I have ever had in my life, this is in no relation to the speed of the internet which is great. The views are great and public transportation walkable access to the Tram is good. Right by this river with long pathway for biking and walking. Plenty of free parking . Very safe and quiet area. Rent is high is the only thing so they should come down in that compared to all the next door same quality maybe just a little less for a substantial price reduction. We had been told by her and others that when your year lease comes up, they jack up the prices. Additionally, we were sad to see Roxanne go as we were told they cycle through managers each year in order for managers to not get close to the residents. As time went on, especially after the first year, things got worse. I was bitten by a dog on property and was told by management that there was nothing I could do. I was assaulted in the parking lot and was told that because it was on a roadway, that is public property, and isnt their problem (note: they were eventually evicted due to having drugs.... could have solved that problem earlier).Smoking policy? Yeah right. We had multiple times where we would call about an issue right now, and they would come to have the resident say that they werent smoking. And I suppose that solved the problem for them, because they would just leave, and the resident would start smoking again. We took photos and videos of the problem, were told it would be handled, and then nothing did. Our neighbors across from us smoked marijuana daily, and nothing happened with our complaints.Want to live around college students who party all day and night? Live here! Drinking was so out of control that cops were called about once every two weeks. Everyone who lives here are college aged students, mostly frat boys it seems. On the last week of us living there, a drunken man threw his beer can on top of the car port during a community party. I told him to put it back, and he became controversial to where I was about to call the cops. The manager of the complex came over, and he proceeded to call me incredibly sexist and inappropriate names. The manager walked away and said she was sure it was only because he was drunk and he wouldnt do that normally. The dog park is a mess after dark, especially in the summer. Normally there are 20 or so college students smoking and drinking in the dog park. Also, the dog park is a mess in the summer. There has been a spot that water build up in. Dogs have gotten sick from drinking it multiple times. We have complained.... I think one time they tried to fix it, then I guess they gave up.TIP: When you leave, take lots of pictures. We were told our dog chewed up our blinds, which was impossible. The day we moved out, my husband took off work so he could do the walk with the inspector. He was told the inspector wouldnt come for a week, and that we werent allowed to be there. So I guess they dont want proof. We were also told they replace carpet every two years. We were there two years, and got charged for the carpet. Why would you charge us for items you were already going to replace?Homeless people roam the apartment complex. They dig through the dumpsters and break into cars (first time there were 5 other cars hit). The only nice thing left is the maintenance men. Thats it. All you have left are residents who are party animals, drugs, smoking, and a management that doesnt care.

Their management is beyond unprofessional. They will constantly harass you with rude warning messages until you cant wait to move out of that prison camp. Then they will make sure that you wont miss that place by sending you the biggest bill of your life. Moving out of that place was the best decision weve made in a long time.

Me and my wife moved in the beginning of this year and so far are loving it here. We dont really have many negatives about the place except maybe the fridge is super loud. Have to turn the tv up pretty loud in the living room. That might be a side effect of the open space and hard floors, it amplifies it a bit. Another negative is paid parking. You dont get one free spot like most spaces. $20 per spot. Its super clean, fast fiber internet, modern looks, very nice gym and pool. Parking lot actually gets cleaned, havent seen that at other apartments. Being very close to the freeway is also a huge bonus. I would recommend this to anybody, if you can afford it you will definitely enjoy it.

Weve lived here since January and so far I have yet to have a negative experience. Anytime weve needed maintenance the guys are there ASAP, and Roxanne even sends a follow up email to make sure everything was fixed and is now in working order. Anytime Ive had questions she has been a pleasure to work with. I fail to see what the negative reviews about her are as she has been nothing but respectful and accommodating. She has to deal with a large community and Im sure we can all be a pain in the ass at times so I think shes doing great for the circumstances she is at times given.

If you enjoy being harassed and every penalty has a large fine tied to it, then this is the place for you.Staff are kind and friendly and will be quick to leave a note on your door.Text messages reminders to all tenants to pay their rent or they will be fined before holidays is also a nice treat. Overall, I liked the consistency, I left some patio pillows out on my balcony and like clock work a note showed up on my door saying to remove them within 48 hours or Id receive a trash fee. Also when I moved in, they hadnt charged me the first night utilities - 2 months later and after I had been paying my utilities they sent me a late fine of $50. They said that a 3$ charge had been charged to be for that first night and that it wasnt part of my regular utilities account so I never saw the balance. Real stand up of them! Overall this place is a dump, with a view of powerlines, a sewer plant and right into all your neighbors properties, which is why everybody has all their blinds shut. There is nothing walkable. Spend your money elsewhere, imo.

I have lived at the Lofts for 3 months. Everyone is very friendly and loves dogs! I also love the maintenance staff, they are always there in a timely manner and will go the extra mile to help you out! They jumped my car even! Highly recomend it. Just make sure to pay your own water bill, thats the only thing we had an issue with. Roxanne is very nice and helpful I dont understand the negative comments in previous reviews.

Pros:1. nice apartment2. quiet neighborhood3. good location, easy access to trax, freeway and grocery4. maintenance/repair is fast and good.Cons:1. staffs in the leasing office are rude and not very helpful, always left rude messages, accusing you for the staffs that you never done or have in your apartment with no evidence. They are not trying to solve the problems unless you have to go to the office and talk to them face to face.2. $99 media package is a joke, the internet is even slower than the $30 century link i had before, but they made this media package mandatory. Internet becomes super slow when we are trying to stream more than two videos on your different devices, facetime/video call is even worse.3. Water bill is even higher than the power and gas. Dont understand why they charge that much with a lot of apartments are even provide free water!

Please listen to all the reviews and do not move here. Everything is perfect and beautiful when you move in, then they start being completely rude and they would even hang up the phone on me when i needed something done. They should have these people take a customer service training, because they definitely have no idea. Oh and wait until you moved out, so they can charge you all of crazy fees, that you should not even be responsible for, like leaving the balcony extremely clean, why pay so much in such a small apartment with horrible management when you can live somewhere else way happier? ... Im beyong glad i moved out.Ps:you will be hearing about them very soon in the news.. Stayed tune!
