I had a concern from several months back and reached out to the new manager, Kim. She came to our home right away to discuss ours concerns and corrected them immediately. She was quick to send the maintenance team over and have the carpets recleaned and now out place looks amazing.I appreciate how timely these items were addressed and feel confident that any other concerns will also be handled promptly we are happy to have Kim as the new property manager.
I love the professional but very friendly office staff. The grounds are kept very nice and maintenance is very efficient. I hope to be able to continue our relationship. Its a great place to call home!!!
Hands down the BEST experience I have ever had with an apartment complex. Beautiful area well kept and I loved the open layout. Huge closets and washer and dryer in unit. Lindsey was so helpful and honest about all the fees upfront and did everything she could to help us out as quickly as possible. You are getting what you pay for with pinehurst.
We love living here - great staff, great location, great facilities (gym/pool/hot tub)
Every time we have had a problem, the maintenance people are right there to help us. The office ladies are so helpful too!
My experience so far has been excellent
We have loved our time here at Pinehurst and plan to renew our lease. I would have given 5 stars, but there is definitely room for improvement in snow removal and overflowing garbages. Every winter our biggest frustration is lack of snow removal on sidewalks. It makes it difficult to walk the dog and creates ice and dangerous walks after a couple days of not being properly taken care of from the beginning.
Nice apartments with pretty good rates. The community was pretty quiet. It was great having a garage attached to our apartment too. And the location is hard to beat. The office and maintenance staff were really friendly and always helpful. Whenever we needed something fixed, they were on it within hours of of putting in a request, regardless of how small or large a task it was.
We lived in Pinehurst for 3 years! We absolutely loved it. Its a nice, clean, spacious apartment. We had a 2 bed, 2 bath. The layout was perfect if you had a guest staying with you, they had their own side of the place. The grounds were always up-kept and clean! The staff is amazing and such good people. They always were quick in response (even after we moved out), friendly and always impressively remembered who everyone was!Multiple times they went out of their way for us. We were out of the country a couple times when pavement or repair work was being done. They were so nice to keep track of our cars or keep us in the loop with what they were doing. They towed our truck to a different spot one time (to pave where we had parked) and Jaren went out and checked to make sure nothing had happened to the truck in the meantime- keeping us feeling safe and good about not even being in the country at the time.Any repair work that ever needed to be done in the apartment was done quickly and usually within the day, if not hours. Amazing staff and very nice and friendly. Wed still be living there if we hadnt bought a house. We enjoyed our stay and it was a nice apartment that didnt have the apartment living feel to it. We loved it! Thank you!!
My smoke alarm went off around 10:00 p.m. I was scared out of my wits because I didnt know if there really was a fireor if needed to change the battery,, (which I couldnt reach).Doug very nicely came by in the spot and replaced the defective smoke alarm. Mgt here always is responsive quickly. I appreciate that
My husband and I lived at Pinehurst for about 2 years and absolutely loved it. The grounds were dog friendly, and they always had the hot tub open year round. Anytime we needed something fixed, maintenance was there the same day. So I really loved it.The reason Im giving it 3 stars instead of 5, was I was disappointed with Pinehurst once we had to move out. My husband and I had to move out 2 months early due to finding a home, so we understood we still had to cover rent until they found someone. However, once they sent the final bill I noticed some of the rent was not added, so I double checked with Pinehurst and they said everything was accurate so we paid our final bill... Only to hear from them a week later that they actually messed up and we still owed $400 - which is annoying. They were also very adamant that we do NOT shut off our utilities until the new tenant moves in, and they would let us know when. Two months go by, and the thought of turning off our utilities for the old apartment had skipped my mind (which is my fault), but on the other hand they never gave us the go ahead to turn the utilities off. They didnt even mention anything about it when I called and paid the final bill twice! SO now were paying for the new tenants utilities for the 3 weeks of April.I was disappointed in how Pinehurst handled the move out process, and felt like they tried to charge us for every thing and then some (during such a great time as well.)
Like usual Jeran, Lindsey and the maintenance guys are on point and get things fixed quickly
I have found the Pinehurst Apartments to be quiet, tucked away in a busy area. I leased the upgraded apartment. Just about everything was new with granite in the bathrooms and kitchen. I consider it a luxury apartment. All of the furnishing are beautiful. The apartments are only 5 miles from the mountains! Both Jaren and Lindsey with management are always helpful and great to deal with.
Keep being awesome! Also shout out to the maintenance staff for regularly going above and beyond.
The updated apartments have good furnishing. I rented a 1 bed/ bath which had extra store room and 2 walk-in wardrobes and big size bathroom. The view is breathtaking with east side mountain facing bedroom. Huge windows in living and bed room. Plenty of natural light. Good ventilation. A good size balcony.
Refrigerator was out of powerFixed immediately

It was the first Apartment Complex I toured almost 3 years ago and I signed on with them without looking elsewhere as I was so impressed with the property layout, look, large, shade trees, pool and jacuzzi area and large club house setting. But, the reason that I am posting this is that Jarin, the property Manager and his staff who have all been here since I first arrived have been nothing but spot on professionals who run this place so well. Very nice and accommodating and get things taken care of quickly and efficiently. I have had several minor repairs to be taken care of and they are here within 2 hours or less to get it done. Also, Ive left my garage door open (yes, secure garage doors) and Ive received a phone call each time within a few hours checking to see if I knew it was open. I cant say enough for how impressed I am with Pinehurst, its staff and the overall company that owns this complex that has the foresight to hire such competent and wonderful people. Thank you to all of you for truly making this my HOME!
I lived in the Pinehurst Apartments for a year, before buying a home. I will truly miss my apartment. I felt very safe there. My teen son loved the pool and hot tub.Jaren and Lindsay were very helpful and the maintenance people were very professional. The grounds are well maintained. If you are looking for a place, I highly recommend Pinehurst Apartments!
With every apartment complex in which I have lived, I have feared communication with the staff. Whether it be about rent, or maintenance, etc. I have one to send in soon, and recognize that there may be a small charge for the fix, but I am glad the complex staff are so good about fixing things and with great attitude (in timely manner). Thank you.
We have lived in Pinehurst Apartments for the last two years. It has been a great experience. The staff are some of the most attentive and helpful at any complex we have ever lived at. The maintenance team is always prompt and easy to work with. Any issues that have come up the past two years have been dealt with efficiently. The community is friendly and welcoming. It is in a convenient location with plenty of stores nearby. We would recommend this apartment to anyone interested in living in the Midvale area.
Im very happy here
While this review can be subject to change for the long term, so far with getting everything set up living here for a couple of weeks, management has been absolutely phenomenal. Jaren has been a huge help to us in the process, and always has an answer to the many many questions we asked. We had all of our problems resolved immediately, and if they couldnt be fixed immediately it was clearly communicated when the soonest it could be done (which was no less than a week). Maintenence is swift, most of the time we never even know theyre here because they get what they need done asap. Pool and hotub is great and well taken care of, and if you ever pass management out in the lot youre always greeted with a warm smile and a hello. Would give 10 stars if I could.
My move was rushed and Jaren and Lindsay were a great help... part of the reason I chose this complex is because they were so attentive to needs seeing that I needed a place ASAP and so helpful. They are always so friendly and helpful! It’s a great place to be! The apartment is light and bright and very nice!
Love this place! The staff are incredible. The maintenance team is awesome and very helpful. Anytime weve gone into the office they are always so happy and get us laughing and make sure were taken care of right away. It has truly been a wonderful experience here.
It is a very quiet apartment complex, the facilities are always well maintained. The office leasing and maintenance staff are always willing to address the concerns. Besides that the location is excellent because you have all the services very close.
This is the only apartment complex Ive ever dealt with as a prospective tenant that refused to reply. Over a two week period I asked the same two questions 5 times and never got an answer. On 5/26/20 I emailed asking 1-if all units in two story buildings have a private garage, and 2-if they had a waiting list for apartments. On 5/28/20 I got an email that saidI see that you are looking for a two bedroom apartment, and looking to move around 05/30/20, is this correct? It was simply signed Leasing Team. No, not correct. I had never specified those dates. So I tried calling them and there was no answer. Instead they have an answering service un-associated with the complex. I left my two questions with the answering service. I also emailed to notify them their mail made no sense; I was interested in an apt anytime from July thru early September. And I again asked the 2 question. On 5/30/20 I got a second email that saidI see that you are looking for a two bedroom apartment, and looking to move around 06/01/20, is this correct? From the Leasing Team.Again not correct. And it was now obvious that the emails were nonsensical spam. So I emailed back with the same corrections and questions. And I called and yet again got their answering service and again left a message. Eventually I got an email from the Leasing Team telling me to watch their website to learn about vacancies, and failing to answer my question about garages. Super frustrated I responded in email that I will ask this question for the 5th time and never heard back with the answer.Obviously Im no longer interested in Pinehurst. Beyond being stunned at their incompetence and rudeness I have to wonder if its possible for residents to communicate with the management office.
These apartments are incredible. Especially the updated ones. The location is so central and convenient. The staff and maintenance crew are unbeatable. Seriously, if you want to be taken care of, this is the place.
Love living here!
We moved in about a month ago and absolutely love it! The apartments feel like a home, not a complex. They are spacious and have lots of storage. Plus, it is wonderful to have a garage! The staff is amazing! They know us by name and greet us daily when we use the pool or gym. They even call and check in on us periodically to make sure we are satisfied. They have been very timely on maintenance requests, and the maintenance crew is so kind and helpful. We highly recommend living here. The great location is amazing too.
You guys have been awesome to work with. The only issue I have is that the renovation wasnt totally complete upon move in. The light fixture was not totally put on in the guest bathroom and there was a lot of things that were incomplete. There is the other half of the mirror that is still sitting on our patio as well. I do wish that instead of phone lines in all the rooms we have internet ports as it makes it difficult to get Ethernet cables all coming from the living room so we just have everything on Wi-Fi for the most part. But the people in maintenance and the leasing office are AMAZING and have been been very helpful and quick in resolving all concerns and questions if and when they come up. One thing that I think would be awesome would be if we could get an Amazon drop point here so that we can get packages delivered? I think that would definitely improve the overall experience your tenants have here!
I moved to Utah from Virginia late last year and did not do well with moving in the past. However, I had a wonderful experience with the move in process at Pinehurst Apartments. The staff are more than helpful, and make everything easier - an experience that is rare to come by these days in my opinion. I truly feel at home here, and feel very well taken of - when there is ever an issue with my apartment, the maintenance crew is there shortly and has the problem resolved quickly. The community and neighborhood fantastic and quiet, as well as close to a plethora of shopping and food. All in all, this has been the best experience I have ever had with an apartment complex and I would highly recommend this community to anyone.
I really liked these apartments, they give you more like a country home feel. When i walked in, i was immediately greeted by Jaren. He was very nice and friendly and really asked me what i wanted in my home. He showed me the model 2 bedroom. I would definitely recommend this place, be sure to ask for Jaren he was fantastic!!
Over all good community. I would give the community 5 stars but management is very, very slow to respond to complaints such as dealing with extremely loud, drug abusing neighbors even after multiple complaints from their good tenants. Why would you want those types of people in your community and around your other tenants children???The maintenance staff is amazing though and the community is well maintained. Just the current apartment management is not on the ball.
Loved the apartments and the staff was great.Great location. But only wanted to update and let everyone aware on the lease break penalty. So, had to break the lease after 4 months (signed up for 9 months lease). Had to pay a one time fee of $1600 lease break charges + 2 months rent ($2400) for which i could stay for a month. Hence the total loss of 1600+1200=$2800. Usually with previous experiences, had to just pay the 2 months fine.In this case, it was 2 months + 1615. But otherwise the experience was great. great staff and maintenance. Memorable place for our family but just wanted to update on reading the fine print before signing lease. i would have avoided the place if i read the actually lease statement as this lease break cost a lot. But great apartments to live anyways.
Very friendly maintenance guys! They are always around when Im out walking my dog, so its nice that they take the time to say hi. Theyre also very prompt and friendly if you have any issues.Parking is great here. By far the best of any place Ive lived. It also feels like a very safe area -- I havent seen/had any problems. location is also a plus. Easy walk to the stores & about a mile away from a great park.My only complaint is that they dont have the option to compost. Salt Lake City has a curbside compost bin that I believe is free to home owners -- but as a renter Id have to pay to take it somewhere. All in all a great place to live.
The cutest apartments and management is awesome to work with. Spacious inside and totally feels like a home not a apartment. So much parking for guests!
I am a vendor for Pinehurst. They are easy to work with and have a great team of employees. The property is beautiful and very well cared for.
I have lived her for nine months and love all the amenities as well as the staff and other residents. It is very quiet and well maintained. Any time I have had any issues the have been very responsive and have fixed the problem. I have decided to sign another years lease, it by far is the nicest community of the 30 I looked at. Come check it out, youll love it!
Best apartment Ive ever lived in. Great value, great management, great maintenance. Fair on move out, honest, upfront and polite in every situation. The absolute best of the best.
I moved in 4 months ago and am very happy with my apartment. It fells more like a home than previous apartments I have lived in. Its also really quiet. I can leave windows open all night and never hear a thing.
Place is beautiful, but too expensive to live in when you have an apartment infested with bugs and management cannot take care of them, appliances are not the best even though they are new... too bad I am tied up with a contract...
We have loved living here for 3 plus years. The staff is very responsive to issues that arise. Very pet friendly. Maintenance handles issues promptly.
Thank you after hours staff!!I’ve lived here going on two years. Management team is great, after hours team is fantastic.Highly recommend.
We recently moved into Pinehurst after living in a house for the past 20 years and were a bit worried about going back to apartment living. My fears have been unfounded here. The inside of our unit was immaculate and apparently very well built as so far have not heard a single neighbor. The few Ive met so far have all been super friendly. The grounds are very well kept and maintenance staff prompt to address even a minor issue. Trevor and staff have been a pleasure to work with and made our move into Pinehurst a great experience!
Such a cool community. I love all the trees, and the peaceful feeling of the property.
Since our first visit Lindsey and Jaren made that we want to live here, very helpful in all our questions and now we have couple weeks living here and we are very happy to chose Pinehurst
We love it here. Started in a 2 bedroom and moved into a 3 bedroom when we had another child. The guys who fix everything around here are amazing.
The location is ideal however the rent prices have gone out of control. The pool is well kept and great in the summer but the hot tub seems to never be regulated very well. The is often way to strong and will burn your skin, took me almost 2 weeks for the smell of it to get out of my skin. water and sweat seemed to make the smell come out. The sprinklers seem to use so much water all the time on the west and south sides of the property. These issues have been addressed but the management over the last year has not seemed to change things. However they have been good about replacing appliances when they have gone bad.
Handle on the door to the garage wasnt working
Have lived here many years. The staff is great. Apartments are maintained very well close to everything. Shopping, freeway access, canyons for hiking, biking, skiing, etc. Great community.
I love it here! I work at another property so I kind of look at things in a different way. The people who work here go above and beyond! They make us all feel so welcomed making sure to always say hi and whenever we have a maintenance request they are right on it! And their office staff after every thing is done and taken care of they will make it a point to ask you if its up to your standards and just make sure you have an amazing apartments experience here. Also they are pet friendly! Which is awesome, but most places that are, there is usually dog droppings every where which I would say is the residents faults if they dont pick up after them, but I feel since the office makes it so nice to live here the Tenants make it stay that way I love it here! Thanks PineHurst!!
Recently moved into Pinehurst in March and I have to be honest my family and I are beyond happy living here very quiet, peaceful and clean.Everyone who works here is nothing but pleasant and professional.Work orders are always taken care of in a timely manner and very easy to input on the resident portal. We are looking forward to our living stay here.
This is the best apartment I’ve ever lived in. I lived here for two years and never had any complaints. All the staff are nothing but friendly and helpful and this is a great location to everything you need.
Ive been at Pinehurst for a year now. The place is great. It is well maintained and the staff are very attentive. Nate, Bri and Felix take great care of us.
Great office staff, great location, great people who live here, Ill recommend this place to anyone, love it here .
I have enjoyed living at Pinehurst! The customer service I received when leasing my apartment to now living here has been A+. The location is perfect and i am very happy with my decision to make Pinehurst my new home :)
Love my apartment and the management here! We renewed our lease in February because we have absolutely no complaints. We have a 2-bedroom apartment on the ground floor and its beautiful. Everyone who walks in comments on how bright and sunny it is because of the oversized windows. It also has an open concept floor plan, unlike many of the other apartments we checked out in the valley, so its perfect for entertaining guests. We shopped around for many apartments before moving here from NY, and Pinehurst was by far the best. The management and maintenance team are efficient, understanding, and awesome as well. We called once because something was wrong with our sink disposal, and someone came over within minutes to fix it (turns out we dropped a measuring spoon down there). Another time we called because one of our electrical outlet plate covers fell off and the bathroom door was out of alignment and wasnt closing properly. Again, someone came within minutes to fix both issues. Theyre wonderful! One other time, we had an issue with the neighbors upstairs for being unbelievably noisy all day long. Not just once in awhile, but every minute of the day there was stomping and screaming and balls bouncing. It sounded like they were jumping off the couches and having a parkour/wrestling match/football game up there. I spoke to the neighbors upstairs twice about it, asking them to tone it down, especially if after 11pm. They denied that they were doing anything that would be causing such noise. Since talking didnt seem to be working, and I was at the end of my nerves, I resorted to banging on the ceiling to hint that they were too loud--but they would just stomp back even louder! After a month of earsplitting noise, I finally called the office to see if there was anything that we could do about it--I was even ready to move to another unit as a last resort. Surprisingly, the office said that theyd give a notice to the tenants asking them to keep it down. They said that these walls and floors are pretty thick, so to be able to hear such loud noise means that the tenants must be super loud. Coincidentally, the neighbors upstairs moved out that same weekend, so we didnt have to pursue the issue further. But I was surprised and relieved to hear the management has a strict noise policy.Since then, weve had countless neighbors move in upstairs (seems to be every few weeks to a month), and none have been a problem. Weve had families with young kids upstairs too, and the noise has been just fine--so rest assured that the walls and floors are indeed thick enough (it was just the first neighbors that were the exception).Another awesome thing about the apartment--they have an office center where I can print things once in awhile. If I need to print tickets to a show or something, I can just pop in there really quick. The gym is also great and rarely used. Came in handy when I was rehabbing a broken ankle! In short, I love this place and am happy to call it home!
My family (me, wife, 1 year old, dog, cat) have lived here for over a year and we LOVE it! There are so many things that we like: Washer/Dryer in apartment, Dog cleanup stations, attached garage (this is the best part), walking distance to stores & restaurants (Smiths, Harmons, etc, & the all the shops at Ft. Union, which is a lot), proximity to freeway (belt route/215), landscaping (lots of trees and flowers), proximity to parks, and I could list more... We often take daily walks around the complex because the neighbors are nice and the scenery is beautiful with all the trees and flowers. The pool, spa, and exercise room are nice too. Another great feature is the 3 hour maintenance policy. If something is broken or needs repairs, someone will arrive within 3 hours to fix it... Highly recommend to anyone wanting to live in the Midvale/Sandy area.
Have lived here a few months. They are always on top of everything, great customer service. Everything is always super clean.
By far the best apartments Ive ever lived in! Management is excellent, maintenance is super quick, and the ammenties are co Stanton maintained!!
Starting my life over again.this is the best place ever! this is my home, great in every way...thank you!
Nice, very friendly too.
I love these apartments. Very clean and very spacious.
Why does the website say Pinehurst Apartments are near Hogle Zoo and Lagoon? Um Hogle Zoo is 65 blocks away and Lagoon is 40 min drive.
Smoke alarm continously beeping.
Worst apartment to rent. I m a resident of this apartment. These apartment guys are so worst that they first promise false till you get your renewal done then starts charging you later. No amenities.. bad pool.. worst customer service.. arrogant managers..Lies.. please dont trust..
We requested that our A/C be fixed for the 2nd time in a week.
Viv and I have been at Pinhurst about thrre months and are very comfortable. We looked here three years ago but chose a townhouse instead. When it was time,we knew we wanted to live at PineHurst. The developement is big enough to be well kept, but not so big you get lost. The Team has been immediately responsive to any concerns which adds an important level of comfort. We look forward to being herefor awhile and reccommend Pinehurst to anyone.
By the time I move out in June, I will have lived here at Pinehurst for three years, eight months. During that time, I have lived in four different apartments, having moved as my needs changed. I stayed in a 1bdr (2nd Floor), 2bdr (3rd Floor), and 2 3bdr (1st & 2nd Floor) apartments.Pinehurst is a beautiful apartment complex; easily one of the nicest-looking anywhere in the entire valley. You will pay for that, which should be expected. My 3-BDR costs about $1400/mo, including a garage and washer/dryer.Administratively, they seem to change their managers out relatively often. In the time that Ive been here, they have gone through three of them. Not complaining; they seem to promote and move them around quite a lot, and I like any company that promotes from within. So, with that, here are some Pros & Cons:PROS- Very pretty, nice design, great floor plans. During Spring/Summer/Fall, they keep the grounds up very nicely, and its a joy to walk around the area.- Nice pool, hot tub, and BBQ area. Theyre very accommodating with the BBQ, always have nice seating and tables, and keep it all very clean and pretty. Love the pool area!- Theyre extremely responsive to any issues that you might have! Ive even been locked out a couple of times, and their staff is quick to respond to get me back in my house. They fix issues very quickly; often times, the day of.- Theyre incredibly pet-friendly! They even have doggie stations around the premises, and keep them full of baggies to pick up after your pets. I find that to be awesome, and Im very appreciative of this. Most places never keep that up.- The people working here are extremely nice. They always wave, or say hi, and are very helpful for whatever you need. Makes it feel like a nice neighborhood.- Im not going to lie; the higher prices mean less crime and other unwantedness. In the entire time I have lived here, Ive seen the police maybe just a couple of times, experienced no break-ins, no issues with my cars, nor anything remotely approaching an uncomfortable living environment. Im very appreciative of this.- Theyre located right next to EVERYTHING. I mean it. Think of a restaurant, store, or type of food you want, and its within walking distance. Its awesome.- Theyre right next to the I-215 on/off ramps. Again, incredibly convenient.- They recently instituted a recycling program, at no cost to us. They come by three times per week to pick it up. For those of you appreciative of this sort of thing, its very nice to see a complex do something like that.CONS- Theyve managed to come off pretty heavy-handed a couple of times, with regard to resident complaints - and without getting both sides of a story. It seems like theyre improving here, however.- Need to use Bcc: when sending emails to all residents. Thats been a problem a couple of times. Again, they seem to be improving on this.- When it snows, they are generally very slow at getting the roads and walkways shoveled. Id expect more when paying a premium to live somewhere.OTHER DETAILS:- Regarding Internet: You only have the choice of Comcast or Qwest here. UTOPIA is not available, and wireless options like Clear or others will not work well, due to line of sight issues (lots of trees, etc). With Comcast, you can get up to 105Mbps. With Qwest DSL, these apartments qualify for a maximum (as of 03/28/2014) of 7Mbps. So if you stream anything or have a family, Comcast is your only real option.- Regarding Cable/Satellite: Again, Comcast is always an option. You may only use DirecTV or DISH if you have a patio which has a clear view of the southern skies. This is because you are not allowed to mount a satellite dish anywhere other than your patio. All in all, this is a great place to live, and Id strongly recommend it to anyone!
Worst experience!! They keep jerking us around. Theyre worse than car salesman. It seems to be one thing after the next. Dont let their great deals lure you in.
Lived here for two years and had nothing but great experiences. Had no move across country for work.
Great place to live
Fun times
Great community
The area is very quiet, the pool and common areas are very clean and very organized. The settlers are very friendly. It has a commercial area a few steps away that is spectacular.😊
