I was beyond impressed with this place. I came in scared of going to a new place after the last one I went to was so bad. They were SO kind and so helpful. I wasnt 100% sure what I wanted and they helped guide me to get exactly what I wanted. I already cant wait to come back and get my nails done again and will definitely be reccomending them to all of my friends. If you are thinking of going here just DO IT. By far the best nails Ive ever had and the most comfortable Ive ever felt getting my nails done.

Went there for the first time with my daughter a week ago to get our nails done loved the experience. Johnny & Ann are amazing, the place is very neat, clean, & profesional. Wait time wasnt bad at all and the part that made me the happiest is that they take their time and dont Rush, they listen to what you would like and create a beautiful end result......will definitely continue to go here with my daughter Olivia. This is a great find in downtown Middletown.Ive been stuck his by same style for quite a while and I got such a nice upgrade. The most beautiful nails Ive ever had. Nice friendly atmosphere. I got a lot of tips of non nail things that Im going to follow up on. I also got a hookup for a person who does eyelash my daughter had gotten a full set and it was spectacular and what shes been wanting for quitemy daughter had got a full set and it was spectacular and what shes been wanting for quite a while but couldnt find anyone that the skills to do it. This is the place to go in this area.

This place was recommended by 2 of my friends and I was worried I wasn’t going to like their work but to my surprise they are by far the best nail location in Middletown. Not only is Mrs. Ann and Johnny both great people they both make you feel welcomed from the minute you step into their place to the minute your walking out. Its a busy place, so yes, you may have to wait. You get all the time you need when its your turn, and Im a very happy lady every time!

I came here for a gel full set. I had a 5:30 appointment and didn’t get in a chair until almost 7. 3/5 designs i showed them they said they couldn’t do. When i was finished i inspected my nails and showed Ann that she missed a significant amount on the side of my nail. The shape came out thick and sloppy and nothing like how i asked her to do them. She tried to play it off by saying she purposely did that to all of them. When i showed her the other hand didn’t look the same she didn’t know what to say. The gel was chipping by the second day. Fast forward a week and I’m on vacation and noticed the gel over top of all the nails with a foil design look burned and discolored. I texted them and sent a picture, i was told to come in whenever to get them fixed and that if my nails start hurting to take them off...when i went in they didn’t want to help. She insisted that i had my hands in dirt and tried to scrub it off with acetone...i had just been on vacation for a month and was no where near dirt. She didn’t want to fix them until i showed her the two holes in the gel. It was 5:30 and she told me come back at 8:30. I told her i was told to come in at anytime to get them fixed. They were extremely u helpful and rude. My nails were a waist of money and i would never recommend them!

I heard so many wonderful things about this place, so I decided to book an appointment. I specifically asked for one person to do my nails Which was Johnny and ended up with a lady for the design. If you look on his Instagram, johnnynailsdesign, his work is really good. However, I knew what I wanted and I showed him. It was a simple pink color and on my ring finger I wanted to cooperate butterflies. He said no, so I showed him other photos that were similar and still was told he couldnt do because they dont do that kind of work here. My baby shower was a garden theme with butterflies. So I told him, okay do your magic .So, he passed me over to the lady next to him, and I repeated myself once again. So,she ended up Drawing a simple flower with a Rhinestone. And I paid $65 . It Was upsetting because if I knew I was Going to end up with a basic design I would of went somewhere else. The idea why I choose him only because his work Is fun, colorful, and creative. Time went on, until one day, I saw a post by Johnny with the art work I wanted . Hmmm, I was told no, no, and no again with several pictures of nail work i wanted. Sorry but that was upsetting and I do not plan on going there again.... Im always willing to spend money for good art work but this wasnt it. But basic design for almost 70 not worth it.

The place is small and when its busy you will be waiting at least a hour. Just too get your eyebrows done they just ignore you and make you wait. Ive been going to nails salon since I was young, the proper way to take care of customers is make them feel wanted. One of the girls had time to do my eyebrows and she went to fix the nail polishs and then went on her phone. Never again....

I had an appointment and they took atleast 2 people over me. Two of them were walk ins. It was not fair at all. Theres no reason why they both should be multitasking while working on people. You should work with one person so you’re not having people waiting around. Seems like they care more about long time customers rather than new people who can become potential long time customers. I expected more from Johnny and his wife.

On Thursday August 2nd 2018 at 11:45 a.m., I went to Fancy Nails to get my nails done and they were closed but the neon sign that says open was flashing no lights were on and nobody was there. Online said they open at 10 thats not a way to run a business that crazy.

I love this place, they are the only ones who will do the crazy designs I like, they are really nice people and have great prices !

I drive up from Rockland County when I get the chance. Theyre the only salon to do all of the crazy designs I ask for. My favorite place!

I went to a drive thru window, a lovely young lady had gorgeous nails; since I desired a new, more skilled, highly passionate nail tech-in short she told me go to Johnny.One day later, I have the best coffin shaped nails, I truly wished for. I am so happy.For years, I would have to go home, and redo them myself.( which I actually can, but Im a libra lol..we love treat ourselves, and go get pampered!)I took my picky teenager, who got a stunning slender, blinged out, almond shaped nail.Their work is incredible.For years, I lamented over, the shabby quality, lackluster attitude of techs nowadays, they offer no art, ingenuity etc...but will charge double if you even try to get a design..Anyway, Im glad we found Johnny, his work is on instagram johnnysnaildesign.Check him out.Oh, and their prices are reasonable too.* I forgot to mention the other half of Johnnys team, who is BOSS on designs, his charming and super friendly wife :-) Cant give him all of the credit now lolThe diversity of clients in his shop, speaks volumes of their level of skill.I find Johnny to be friendly, personable and most importantly knowledgeable of his trade.I am a state licensed instructor, holding 2 cosmetology licenses also, so trust me! Hes good!!
