This was my best dentist visit ever. I use to hate going to the dentist 100 percent. I was so nervous to go in the office and get my tooth that was bugging me so bad looked at but after I walked in it started with the front desk women. She was very kind explained everything and made me feel comfortable. Next came the women that did my ex rays she was awesome also explained what was going on and all. The dentist came in and looked at my tooth explained everything so clearly I could tell he knew what he was doing. It was the first time I had ever got options about my teeth and the price of everything up front before work was done. While the dentist was pulling the teeth I felt no pain and very comfortable with what he was doing . This office will have my business with me and my family for as long as the ones work there n do such a super job like they did. I will tell everyone about this place EVERYONE

Went in for an emergency appointment with having major pain in my wisdom tooth. The doctor and his staff were very pleasant and caring and I was able to have my tooth pulled and relived of the excruciating pain I was in with no hassles at all. Definitely will be returning here for all my future dental needs.

Im a new patient to Summit Dental, and I cant recommend them enough. This past March, I had to find a dentist immediately, but so many other offices were booked until the summer or not taking on new patients. The receptionist, Joann, was able to get me in that same month, then called me back a few hours later to tell me she was actually able to get me in the very next day. Since then, I have had a cleaning and a filling done, and both were a breeze! The hygienists, Tracie and Lizzie, are thorough, and Dr. Peter understanding and calming. He talked through everything that would happen during my filling before it started, and it was over before I knew it. When you go to Summit Dental, you will have quality care from a caring, knowledgeable team. I will continue to go back.

I called Summit Dental with a terrible tooth ache, I currently have no family dentist and was hopeful that a google search would land me in the right arms. I spoke with Liz who was sweet and patient as we had no service while we were coming through the mountains as we returned from vacation. I then spoke with Joann who got me an appointment immediately. Liz took me back, made me feel comfortable even with knowing that I was scared of the visit and in a great deal of pain. All and all, I give Liz, Joann and the Doctor an a+, and we are happy that we now have a dental provider that I/we would feel comfortable to go to.

Staff was all so amazing, caring, and helpful! I called and they got my daughter in that same day, as a new patient for a possible issue. Her exact words when I called, “we don’t leave kids in pain, when can you get here?” They ended up being able to do her X-rays and cleaning while we were there! My daughter has always had extreme anxiety regarding the dentist, she was hysterical when I made the appointment. But they would of NEVER known that, she was so comfortable with everyone there and she is finally over her fear! Can’t recommend them or thank them enough!

This was my first visit with Dr. Peter Karian. I moved here in 2015 and was an established patient at another dental practice in Middletown, De. I was suffering from excruciating tooth pain over the weekend and called my dental office on Monday and was told that I would have to have a complete evaluation which would involve x-rays of all my teeth. I only had 1 tooth that was involved. This is not how my previous dentist did. I have no dental insurance so I knew what the cost of the visit would have been. I was so lucky to find Summit Dental. Dr. Peter Karian is so caring & compassionate, answers all your questions and explains all the abnormalities. that he sees. I was impressed with not only the Dental Assistants care but she actually had a personality which is something rare in doctors offices today. Thank you Joanne who worked me in to be seen the same day. You all are awesome and you now have a new patient. I hate the pain but it made me find the best dentist and staff.

I was more than happy when I went to the office to have a tooth, which was extremely painful, removed. The staff was very kind and helpful and Dr. Karien, who performed the extraction, was very kind and sympathetic to my worries. He explained first about how he could possibly save the tooth, but I was just ready to take it out. He took great care in making sure I was comfortable during the entire process and I never felt a thing. Still dont have pain 4 hours after the procedure and I would recommend summit dental to anyone I know.

I had a dental emergency and they got me in the following day, even though I wasnt a current patient. Dr. Karian and his staff were very welcoming and professional. My situation has presented as an issue beyond his attempts, and referred me to an oral surgeon. But none the less, he was very patient, understanding, and knowledgeable!

Dr. Karian and his team went above and beyond when my son had a sudden infection that made him look like Rocky Balboa over the course of a couple of hours and his regular dentist could not get him in for 6 weeks! A special shout out to JoAnn who really helped connect us to the doctor and get this infection resolved quickly! Our whole family has changed practices to see Dr. Karian.

I recently visited his office after breaking a molar, and after assessing the tooth during the visit, he recommended that the tooth be repaired with a crown. Dr. Pete is a terrific communicator who took the time necessary to provide me with a detailed explanation of the process for repairing this tooth with a crown. This process consisted of three separate dental visits, and during these visits, Dr. Pete went to great lengths to ensure that I was comfortable and without pain. He is a talented Dentist who applied his sound technical skills and artistry throughout this process and I am completely satisfied with the results. I also believe he sets a good environment for his practice, and his lead dental hygienist, Shelly, along with his office manager, Joanne, and his dental technicians, are all very personable, friendly, and go out of their way to make every patient feel special. My whole family has been going to Summit Dental for 18 years since we moved to Middletown. We loved and were happy with Dr. Foster but when Dr. Karian took over he really took the practice next level. He remodeled the office space and put large monitors in each exam room so that he could show you in pictures what he is actually looking at instead of just trying to briefly explain it to you. It’s really the best of both worlds. A smaller individualized practice but with all the latest technology and an expert level practitioner. You will not be disappointed. Highly recommended!

This is my new happy place. Normally dentist visits are not something I would look forward too but this is the most friendly, uplifting place I have been in a while. The ladies in this office are super friendly....and great sense of humor too. Peter listened to my concerns and gave me great options to getting my teeth on track. I called Summit this morning after many attempts to find a dentist in my area. Spoke with Joann and she spoke with Dr.Karian and he told her to have me come in right away. I took the 30 minute ride and glad i did. I have a nasty infection in a broken tooth. Also got me all set with antibiotics and pain meds so i can sleep.I also dont have to wait months to get it pulled. April 7th is my appt.Also was surprised at the overall cost. Was fairly cheaper than i expectedLiz was my nurse and she was GREAT AND PLEASANT.Joann was FANTASTIC explained to me how to document my medication taking to keep track after i told her i dont like pills and scared of depency issues.Dr. Karian was SUPERB.THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH

Wonderful doctor, wonderful staff!! They gave me advice that saved me bundles of money with great results. My whole family has transferred to Dr Karian now. Went to see Dr K earlier this month for the first time after moving on from my previous dentist of roughly 30 years. I found him and the technicians to be very professional and pleasant. Going to the dentist is probably one of my greatest fears as I have very sensitive teeth and often feel pain during routine procedures. The staff listened to my concerns and offered many options to insure I would have the best experience possible. I was back in today for a significant procedure on a back tooth. Dr K took the extra time to make sure the area in question had been properly treated to insure my comfort during the procedure. It went off without a hitch and I was very happy with the results and the detailed explanation he provides to inform me of what was happening at the moment. My entire family has been going there for years and I was the last one to join and I couldnt be happier with my decision. I would recommend this staff and practice to anyone looking for high quality family dental care.

Summit Dental went above and beyond for me. I thought I knocked out a part of a filling. I called and because I was driving by them in about 2-3 hours they told me to stop. I am so glad I did. I chipped a corner out of one of my back molars. Dr Kirian was able to fix it right then and there. Amazing service and caring!!!!

He Can Take A Tooth That Had A 50 Year Old Filling That Had Decayed Around It In The Far Back Of Your Mouth At Top, Replace & Repair With New Area Decay And In Less Than 1 Day Have No Trouble Since & That Was 8 Months Ago.
