All the staff that I had contact with were respectful, courteous, and professional. They listened to my concerns, and answered all my questions in detail. A great group of people.
False advertising, unprofessional. We scheduled an appointment on their website a few weeks in advance for a routine cleaning. The day before our 9:00am appt, they call to cancel saying they don’t have a hygienist. She didn’t offer to help us get in to another location, no apologies, nothing. I also found out during this call that appointments scheduled for new clients are only a consultation, they weren’t even going to do the cleaning. We were going to have to schedule yet another appointment and come back…again, for a routine cleaning. Their website says nothing in reference to this. Again I didn’t get an apology, when I expressed my frustration at how misleading and inconvenient this is, I got the placating “I’m sorry you feel that way”. Don’t waste your time, literally!
I would avoid aspen dental like the plague! They are only out to make as much money out of you as they can. They ruin your healthy teeth in the hopes you will have to come back to spend even more money. They sell you on lies and false promises that will end up costing you more in the end! Save your teeth and money, go to a dentist with ethics!
STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!!made an appointment a week ago.got email from them and spoke with someone confirming appointment.the lady behind desk telling me.they show no appt for me. I even showed them the email I received from them... then tells me they dont send out emails. But a miracle happens and I get one...said .......no call, nothing...took off work early in order to make it appt.Simply for wanting a cost of getting dentures relined... said had to do X-rays and everything... I simply wanted a quote on relining.. come at your own risk..Better off going back to adorable dentures. Definitely a lot cheaper and more organized then this place.
Employees are very friendly. They make you feel at ease. No problem at all with the visit.
This is a great place to go too and the staff is amazingly friendly. From the front desk ladies to the staff working in the back. Everyone is exceptionally professional and do everything they can to make you feel at ease. If you have a fear of the dentist, then you should consider coming here. Dr. Yu was amazing and I will come back here again for all my cleanings because of her and the team working here.
I was taken back by the professional and personal service I received. In other dental offices it’s obvious to who the dentist was as they were not personable with the patients. Here the dentist spoke to me with concern and caring as an equal. She had my 2 teeth out so quickly I questioned if she was actually done. Great place and will be returning for any dental needs
I have NEVER had a worse experience. Just stay away. Unprofessional, rude, no compassion whatsoever.
Charlie did a great job making me feel comfortable and at ease! I was not looking forward to the visit but she and her crew were great. I am anticipating me next visit without any anxiety. That’s a good think. Thank you all!!
Let me start by saying Aspen Dental as a whole, pure robbery and price gauging at its finest. My daughter was told to be there at 2pm to fill out paperwork for a 230 appointment, which took all of less than 10 minutes. About 240 rolled around and I asked how soon it would be before she went back etc. Lady at the front desk, very nice lady said she would go check. Came back and said they informed her it would just be a few more minutes. About 30 min goes by so I ask again, at this point Im irritated, we were on time, and if you all are running behind a good heads up would have been excellent! I had to go sit in my car for a few minutes and my daughter calls me and tells me they said it would be about around 330 then he would be ready. How do you go from a few minutes to over an hour I have no idea. Time is money and you all cut way into my time, we should have been out of that office by 4 at the latest and here I am just getting home at 6pm!!! On top of that there is a snowstorm so why in the world would u not ask what pharmacy we use vs printing out 800 different papers of prescriptions and advising because it is bad weather it is easier for the patient to have it filled where there choose vs you all ASKING and calling it in so we can avoid being out longer than necessary. The things would have been ready by the time I left the office and went to the pharmacy! Makes zero sense. I still didnt get the itemized bill they spoke of either. This office is horrible, the communication is horrible and the oral surgeon was far from personable. Nothing at all against the lady working the desk, she was passing info that she was told. Overall, do better and people save your MONEY and your TIME!
Was very impressed with the staff. They were friendly and professional. They took care of my issue and the cost was was very fair. Will recommend to my friends.
My husband just got some teeth extracted in January. Was going to be a pricy bill so we financed it. They put us through a bank called “Comenity Bank” and specifically called “Dental First Finance”. Aspen didn’t send my husband home with any account information whatsoever so we had to rely on the company to send us statements. Well February comes and we haven’t received a statement. March also rolled around and still no statement. My husband tried to register to get into his account but it said they couldn’t find his account. He had called and they told him over the phone they couldn’t find his account and that their servers were down and that they would call him back. They never called him back. But instead they hit his credit with a 30 day late fee! His credit went down 120 points! Best part. We were TWO WEEKS AWAY from closing on our dream home and that disqualified us for our mortgage we were originally approved for. DO NOT GO HERE AND DO NOT FINANCE WITH THEM. They will RUIN YOU! Now this company won’t give him any information so he can fix this issue that wasn’t his fault. Unbelievable! Should be sued.
Completely unprofessional. If you try to call them, they dont have a hold system and the phones just take you to voice-mail. If you leave messages, they never return your calls. The few times I was able to get a hold of someone, they asked me to please wait and put me on hold, which promptly sent me to the voice-mail again. Once I was finally able to talk to someone, I was already frustrated with the company and told her I just wanted to cancel my appointment and find another office to go to. She said Fine! And slammed down the phone, disconnecting the call. Ive never seen such poor customer service.
I called Wednesday morning to make an appointment after being up all the night before in excruciating pain. They got me in for a 10am appointment. About noon I was finally prepped to get two of my teeth pulled. Everything went fine, and the dentist made sure I was numb and comfortable. My first problem with my experience here, was no pain medicine only antibiotics. Im not talking about anything serious, maybe some strong ibuprofen for the first two days? My second problem, was that they forgot to call in my prescriptions. 4 hours after I got home, my temperature was 103 from the infection. I had to call 3 times to finally get them to call my prescription in! I had hoped to have more work done here, but if I cant even get a ibuprofen prescription, no thanks! Its Saturday night now and its my first night not in pain. Not everyone is an addict.
Every single person there was very professional but very nice at the same time. I felt compassion, which seems to be something of the past. Highly recommend!!
I have recently had a tooth extracted from this location that was three weeks ago today it has finally quit throbbing. I was surprised to get a bill for 140.00. Now i need a cavity filled it is now painful but since they didnt guess ight about how much my insurance would pay and i cant pay the bill in full i cant get them to fill the cavity. They tell you that on the day of the visit you owe $24 ( i also called today to see how much it csot to get a filling, she said $24, no surprise). Well dont believe that is all youll owe, i even asked them if that was all i owe for the work done she said yes. Well surprise, surprise, surprise. My advice, have their billing department in new York call your insurance to get the real price before letting them do anything. The staff is very nice and they are gentle but now because of a wrong GUESS i cant get pain relief for the tooth that is hurting. Looks like i will have to look somewhere else.
These were the friendliest people we have ever worked with. They didnt try to up charge ua for work we didnt need and they were kind and patient with my ill wife
Still havent gotten the tooth pulled that I need pulled yet but Im sure it will go fine at the appointment. All staff were knowledgeable and informative. I have had no dental insurance and impacted wisdom teeth that bother me for years. I was happy with my exam. I have found dentists offices to be cold and rude normally, but I didnt feel that way here. They informed me about my other wisdom teeth and cavities but didnt pressure me to do anything I couldnt afford, nor did they make me feel inadequate for not being able to afford to get all of them pulled at the same time. Cant stress that enough, they are understanding that dental work is expensive and not everyone can afford that luxury. Because of the good customer service and friendliness, I will definitely get my remaining teeth pulled here when I have saved up the money and will schedule a cleaning after I get this tooth pulled!
After being in excruciating pain for days, I called Aspen Dental hoping to be seen for an emergency appointment. They had me in and out in less than an hour and I could not have been more pleased with the care!!!!!!!!!! I’d highly recommend.
I went because part of my filling had come out due to be eating a lollipop. I made this clear when I called (as a new patient) and was never informed that I had to have my teeth professionally cleaned before they could fix the filling. I wait an hour and a half just to be told this. The dentist put in a temporary filler, which I said never works and can’t I just have my teeth cleaned that day and they can do the filling. In which I was told I would have to set up another appointment. I was then given a treatment plan that was $2,584. They said I had all these diseases in 8 of my teeth that needed to be taken care of first. On the treatment plan that was printed for me, it showed me actually getting a filling in the 7th visit. The 7th!!! I have TONS of fillings in my teeth. I have never been told I needed to have my teeth cleaned or anything before a filling could be done. None of my teeth, gums or anything is bothering me. Only the one where the filling came out and only when I eat something. I was so upset. This was an emergency visit as even described by the lady that made my appointment and my issue would not have been taken care of until the 7th visit. Oh, and that temporary filling they put in came out in my car as I was leaving the dental office. I will Never go back to this place!! Talk about price gouging and taking advantage of people during a pandemic!!!
The staff was wonderful, they were all very nice made the dentist appointment a wonderful experience
When processing my insurance they said I was eligible for services and my insurance was valid at the time of the appointment. I stressed to double check to make sure it was accurate before services were rendered and they validated this information. Months later I find out I have a bill for the full charge amount because insurance was not covering the services for a basic cleaning.
Bad service waiting for so long and no one paying any attention to you this place terrible
Amazing staff! Very flexible with scheduling. I would recommend them to anyone.
Great service - the people at Aspen Dental were just as friendly as one would hope. And the repair to my tooth came out beautiful...Highly recommend...
Amazing! I have never had a better experience at a dentist ever!! Dr. Yu and the tech with her were both more than you could ask for.
The staff was friendly and the office was very clean. I had a good experience until the dentist came in and told me that they couldnt help me that day because she didnt have time, even though I scheduled that appointment and sat there for an hour and a half. So I had to scheduled yet another appointment and take more time off of work and be in pain for 4 more days until they had time to help me.
I am a new patient at Aspen Dental and my experience was a good one. I went in yesterday and they evaluated my situation with my teeth and even though its been 10+ years, they were amazing and cared about the pain I was in.I had to go back today and have a tooth removed and the technician and the Doctor was very caring and explained everything to me step by step. Even though its only been a few hours since the procedure, I feel so much better. I would definitely recommend them and I will be going back for future work on my teeth.Thank you all so much for making me feel comfortable in a situation I was so nervous about.
Dentist and the rest of the staff was very nice. It took longer for the numbing medicine to kick in than it did for her to pull my tooth.
This office is absolutely top notch all the way! They are truly in the business to help everyone & they do it with kindness & professionalism. Thank you to ALL that assisted me from Arizona & treated me like family!
Wonderful experience. Everyone was very friendly.
The dental assistant was so funny and nice. They did a great job on my teeth and explained things clearly. She did tell me I should have a tooth corrected but it was filled in by one of their dentists who didn’t do a great job the 1st time.
These guys are the real deal. I definitely got a new smile and loving it.
I go here for anything I need, and my husband who is a veteran who doesnt have dental insurance just started going here to and he loves it. He said they were so nice, and really attentive, only thing I could maybe say was a negative was when we came the receptionist seemed very frustrated we werent even late for the appointment, and turned around and asked the dentist if it was ok for her to sign us in, and I said we have an appointment and asked when the time was to double check we werent late, and we were 5 minutes early, so she made us feel like we could have been turned away even with an appointment, so despite that I was happy to hear my husband say they were friendly, polite, and perfectly normal exam, and x-rays were just fine as well, so I was happy to hear that.
This place is amazing! They worked with me with no Insurance and found low monthly payment that worked for me without breaking my bank! Everyone was very friendly and it was a pleasant and clean environment. I definitely recommend this place ♥️
Wish I would have gone through more of the reviews first... This is the Walmart of Dentistry. While the staff is nice, their bottom line is money and their goal is to put you on their monthly payment plan. My husband went for an emergency and was quoted a total of approx 2,500. I went for discomfort and was told my total (after insurance) was approx $2,500. Thats a bit too much of a coincidence for me. During my consultation, I asked if they could do anything for the problem I came in (Tartar build up cleaning) and the hygienist told me no (It was against what she went to school, my case required a more in-depth procedure, for etc. etc). Alright. I couldnt afford it, so I went home. Received a call that they could help my issue same-day only for out of pocket cash about thirty minutes after leaving (Basically, what I had asked for while I was there). While I appreciate them giving me a call, I dont feel comfortable going back to have something done that the hygienist literally refused to do merely thirty minutes earlier... Guess its home remedies for me.
The entire staff was informative and compassionate. They listened to my needs and addressed them in a very professional manner. I would highly recommend this facility.
Everyone was so friendly. They really made my husband feel comfortable and at ease. Means a lot with how scared he was! Thank You guys Again!!
They were so kind and in my time of need made sure I was seen before the mandatory shut down. Thank you so much.Melinda Jurmu
Everyone was very friendly, but someone on the staff told my mom and dad one thing about the financials of his procedure, then we get there and its a completely different story. They told my dad he needed about $500 more to have his procedure. Although someone had told them on the phone almost a week before, when he came for the procedure, he wouldnt need anymore money. He had been up all night at work and we sat there for over two hours just for him to not be able to have his procedure. Staff definitely needs to work on communication and what they tell their patients.
My husband had 3 teeth removed by a lady dentist, we gave them fmla paperwork needing to be filled out and he got another appt to get the rest of his wisdom teeth out. They call my husband day of his 2nd appt and say the dentist wont fill out the fmla paperwork for fillings? And his appt is for cleaning? Hold up. He was scheduled for his wisdom teeth to be removed and he has NEVER HAD A FILLING. the lady dentist ended up quitting after my husbands first procedure. my husband tells them no that is wrong...and the receptionist had nothing to say and said we will have to call u back very rudely.? Moral of the story, THEY ARE A VERY UNORGANIZED DENTIST OFFICE. NO COMMUNICATION AND CLEARLY GETS THINGS MIXED UP VERY EASILY. do yourself a favor do not go to them. You will regret it.
Place should be shut down...the worst experience of my life...questionable practices...mafia style practices...even the credit they offer us questionable...have been 3 or so years trying to clear up paid in full account...commodity bank...dont do it...they say one thing..do another...the whole outfit is criminal
Had a very painful tooth and Dr yu took care of it quickly!
The hygienist and office staff were awesome!!! If it were just their rating - 5 stars easily! The dentist acted like he didn’t want to be bothered.
This place should get no stars !! They don’t do what their website claims ! They claim to be an emergency dentist but they can’t even do root canals! Don’t waste your time !
Went to this place after getting insurance for the first time. Appointment was at 3:30 arrived around 3:15 didnt get taken back until 4:30 where I sat for another 15 mins. Then doctor spent 5 mins looking at my teeth to pretty much tell me what I already knew needed a few fillings, a cap, and a new partial plate which with my insurance covering over half would be somewhere around 2,000 dollars. Do yourself a favor and go to a family dentist. This place is just out for your money
Nice staff answered all questions I had made for a less anxious visit
Started out at Center Point Health. Worst experience in my life. Found Aspen Dental. I was in desperate need of a tooth extraction. They did great. No pain what so ever, unlike Center Point. Staff super friendly. Defiantly got over my fear of the dentist.
Great facility with an even better staff. Dr, Deshmukh did a wonderful job and was kind and courteous the entire time. Robin was also very accommodating and did everything she could to make me feel more comfortable. Shawn also worked very diligently to squeeze me in on the same day. Cant say enough good things.
Very nice and courteous. Dr Sharma explained things to me so that I could understand what needed to be done. Everyone was friendly and knowledgeable. I will return.
The girls were super nice and the doctor was great! They helped me decide what the best plan of action was and there was no pressure to make a decision that day. If I would of had the money I would of let them treat me that day.
Everyone was so kind. They knew this was a new dentist for me & that I was apprehensive. Everyone from receptionist to Dentist was patient, professional, extremely informative. The hygienist explained everything she was doing & why. The same with the dental assistant, making sure I was totally as comfortable as I could be under the circumstances. I will never look forward to going to the dentist, but I am so grateful this is the team that will be there with me. Thank you.
I made an appt for a Friday. When I called I explained that I have no dental insurance, asked them a price, they gave me a quote and explained that I would have free xray, exam and then told me what the cleaning would cost. I made the appointment. When I showed up for the appt., I was told that they tried to call me (which I had no missed call from them) and that their office manager had a meeting and was not there to go over pricing with me so I could not have the cleaning. I explained that I had been quoted a price and didnt understand why I could not have the cleaning. I was told that they dont have a hygienst on Fridays. ?? I asked then why was I scheduled. Their answer was that their scheduling line does not have their hygienst schedule. This was such a scam! I wasted my day planning for this appt - only so apparently they could get me in there and play games. The girl at the front desk seemed unconcerned how inconvenient this was to a customer. They didnt even offer any compensation whatsoever as In a reduced appointment for the inconvenience of this. She asked me to reschedule, but since this was my first experience with Aspen, I dont think I want to deal with them a second time and told her that I would find another place. After reading other posts, Im feeling lucky that I didnt get in that day...as I suspectby the manager not being there to discuss costs with me I would have been given a totally different price quote/story. I am very disappointed, I was hoping this Company would be a good source for dental.
I went there couple of times. They did great work. Dr. whealton was really sweet and nice. She did great work. The dental hygienist was awesome had a great time very talkative and very careful with everything
This is a new location and need to work out a few minor kinks. I had a realignment on my lower plate and was disappointed there was very little change however the dentist made some adjustments and is now perfect. She did an excellent job and was very caring. Would definitely recommend.
I had a piece of dental work fall out during the work day. In a panic I called, they didnt accept my insurance but agreed to see me for an exam and used a coupon making the visit free. I was seen within the hour, the dentist was very kind and explained that it could be repaired by my regular dentist. They made me comfortable and were very professional. They gave me all my xrays as I was leaving so I could take them to my dentist. If my insurance changes, or they start accepting mine, Ill be a patient!
Absolutely not recommended. Don’t waist your time. I called the location for pricing and was told an extraction costs $248. I came 15 minutes prior to my appointment at 3, paid the price right away, and wasn’t seen till 4:40. I’m sitting at the chair waiting for the doctor, and the girl shows up telling me I have to pay another $50 because they girl in the front doesn’t know their pricing. Bs service.
Very nice staff !!! The denist was concerned about my teeth. She was a true professional.
Hygienist is great! Dentist acted like I was an inconvenience and didnt have time for me. Literally speed talking to me and was in and out of my room in less than 60 seconds. Wait times at the Middletown Ohio location are atrocious. I waited almost 40 minutes to be called back this time, the last appointment I had I waited an hour. Its not difficult to schedule or staff appropriately so your patients dont deal with this. Probably why the dentist was in such a hurry to check me and move on.
Absolutely not recommended. I was told by customer service the price is $140 for extraction. Came to the location, they told me it’s $248, I paid it anyways because i was in pain. Waited for 2 hours after my appointment time, and right before the extraction, a girl shows up and tells me I have to pay another $50 because that’s what they normally charge. Don’t waist your time and money. Bs service
Everyone at Aspen Dental has been helpful in my process to a healthy smile. Dr. L. Whealton has been awesome, shes considerate in my concerns and is very patient with me through my process. Thank you to everyone there.
Everyone seemed nice but I didnt get what I needed there. If they cannot do what you have called them about then they need to tell you that on the phone and save you time and trouble.
Moderately dissatisfied, better job they could do, I think, very much.
Waited over 2 hours past my appt time to see the dentist, he finally saw me and made his recommendations, he was polite, all the staff were... but I was there for over 3 hours in total...The part that really got me was the pricetag....They told me $10,000 for a set a dentures with the extractions.... she then told me if i didnt mind to not be sedated I could save about $1,000.... then I told here I was only expecting a MAX of $5,000...This is were i felt scammed...she then took the sedation off as well as a $400 gum cleaning... and it was magically $5,000.....My brother just got dentures for under $3,000 and got the same comfylite brand... I think they are scamming people...
Very friendly staff. Didn’t have to waitI would definitely recommend to a friend
One must always remember the old saying if it sounds too good. Do an about face and go the other way. This was the worst experience I have had in my life. It reminded me of being pressured into buying Flood insurance in the Sahara Desert. I went to Aspen Dental in Middletown, Ohio for a basic cleaning which was covered by my insurance. I was told that I must agree to a mandatory x-ray which would be covered by my insurance. At this point the Red flags were glaring. I knew I was wasting my time, but I wanted to give them a chance. Before I attended my scheduled appointment, I contacted some resources in the community and was advised to research the ASPEN DENTAL brand in Indiana. I discovered that they were fined a substantial amount of money for basically upselling and other fraudulent activities. I spoke with Shawn (Office Manager) and he did not deny the Indiana allegations or penalty, but said that the Dr. has the right to make recommendations and no one has the right to question those recommendations. I asked him is it similar to going into an automobile dealership for an oil change and being told that the engine will blow up if the tires are not replaced. He avoided the issue and said that they could not clean my teeth under the coverages provided by my insurance, but they would be happy to do so if I agreed to the $1,300.00 cleaning recommended by the Dr. I declined and contacted another Dental service provider and was informed that they would be more than happy to fulfill my request as a patient. Hopefully people will learn to do their research before they fall prey to blood sucking, bone crushing predators in the community.
Very friendly staff. Very informative and educated professionals. Extremely clean and updated office.
Went in with an infected wisdom tooth, in such pain and agony. The staff here treated me with such kindness, understanding and urgency. However, upon having the Dentist attempt to remove this tooth, they were unsuccessful, leaving a curved root in place. My only complaint is;If youve taken an xray, seeing the curved root of this tooth, knowing it would potentially require an oral surgeon, why waste my time?I now have to take more time off of work, and spend about $100 dollars more to see this surgeon. You know what they say, time is money!
Made me feel comfortable even though I dont like dentists. They explained everything they were going to do and did what they said .took a lot of fear out of me.very professional and friendly from the time I walked in the door until I left!
First impressions last. Today would have been my first appt, made just yesterday. I drive almost 20 mins to get there just to be told I dont have an appt because I didnt confirm it. I am a new patient and spent a good while on the phone yesterday. The lady was put off that I was still there after telling me I didnt have an appt. Then finally offered to let me wait if I wanted. Nope this place wouldnt be even good enough for my dog with people like that. I have options.
Everyone dislikes going to the dentist, but I especially get nervous about it. I havent had great experiences with it to begin with, dealt with a lot of uncompassinate dentists and dental assistants that are just trying to get through the day and to the next patient that you are left feeling like your nerves and your heart is gonna fall out of your chest. So I was particularly happy and pleased to see never visiting that location, how friendly and clean the building was in general. My anxiety was getting the better of me when I needed to get 2 of my wisdom teeth pulled that kept me from literally eating anything at all, even soup. And both dental associates and the dentist was very supportive and sweet and saying I could do it but it is up to me and how beneficial it would be as far as pain would go and future problems it would cause but not pressuring at all.So I give them 5-stars and theyre now my new dentist place! Im very pleased, it was the worst pain I have ever been in my entire life but the compassion made me feel like I could toughin it out, I would definitely recommend this location specifically!!
Had teeth cleaned plus x-rays. Great job and very professional.
They treated me very well
Great staff. Willing to work with you financially .
I came here out of convenience, as my normal Aspen location was busy. It is a new location, so I understood that there were a few kinks to work out. The hygienist was incredibly kind and helpful. However, I had just gotten my wisdom teeth taken out and was hoping the doctor could help with a few tooth fragments that had worked their way to the surface of my gums. She, however, took only a rudimentary glance and just said they would take care of themselves. Later that day I was in so much pain from the shards jutting into my gums and cheeks, I spent 10 minutes with a pair of tweezers and took care of them myself.Tldr: staff is incredibly helpful; doctor couldnt be bothered.
The staff was friendly and helpful.
I am one of those people who dreads going to a dentist. I went to the Aspen Dental office Located in Middletown, OH only after my bridge fell out. The entire office staff was very professional and considerate. It was determined that I had to have one of the teeth previously holding my bridge, extracted due to severe decay. Doctor Arsanious performed this work. He was simply OUTSTANDING. He was extremely considerate and significantly lowered my apprehension. It was by far the best dental visit I ever experienced.
Went for a filling that fell out. When I called to make appt. because my dentist was 3 weeks out, i asked if the do that, they said yes. Then 4 days later at appt., they took 16 xrays. Sat in chair, then they looked and said nothing they can do on molars...really? Gave me antibiotic and said to call another dentist.Horrible place and useless!
It was really good experience ...top of the line equipment...nice people all around...the only thing it bothers me was the dentist was the only person in the place that didnt have the patience need it for his position...future i will go there...but with a dentist like that...i really dont know ...anyways overall 85 percent good ....th ks
Staff is so nice and so was Dr. Whealton. They did their best to make my experience as comfortable as possible.
Not real happy with aspen dental...will not go back
The people were friendly but my appointment was at 5:15. I was there 15 minutes early and i didnt even get seen until almost 6pm. From xray to talking to the dentist took only like 30 minutes and the dentist was in and out like he was in a hurry and then I sat in the back after the dentist saw me for over 30 minutes waiting for the finance lady to come talk to me overall i was not happy with them and i probably wont go back
Everyone was very friendly, knowledgeable, and explained all details of treatment. Anyone that cannot open their mouth very wide, please be advised that the new imaging equipment barely fit in my mouth. It was extremely painful. I was in a lot of pain after my appt. Dr didnt prescribe any pain medication to help me through to my next week appt, when three teeth will be extracted. I realize there is an opioid epidemic but come on. I may as well prepare for a painful procedure. But all in all they are very friendly and I will recommend them to those needing dental care.
Ive called twice for an appointment and gotten the run around both times because I dont have dental insurance. Fine, Ill take my cash elsewhere.
I have a particular hangup with going to the dentist, but everyone here was wonderful! Katrina is a wonderful hygienist.
For starters, Aspen Dental doesnt provide certain basic dental services. I needed a root canal and crown on an upper rear tooth, but was referred to a specialist to have the root canal done. After I did that, I went back to Aspen to have the crown put on. I was in the chair and their dentist began drilling to prepare the tooth when he suddenly gave up, complaining of lack of proper light. He had a blinding spotlight on me too! I subsequently made several appointments with Aspen to have another dentist put the crown on, but their staff kept canceling them. I finally gave up, abandoned the crown, and received a refund. Save yourself some trouble and grief and avoid Aspen Dental. Theyre worthless.
Let me share my experience,Made the appointment because I have a badly infected root canal, upon arrival the staff was friendly, however they wanted to do a full set of X-rays, I informed them that my insurance may not covered a full set, so the tech checked with the Dentist and he said just to X-ray the tooth. I spoke with a office lady and we were having my X-rays emailed from my prior dentist, problem solved... I thought. So 3 X-rays of the tooth. Then a hygentist did a exam. Then the Dentist comes in and says he can take the tooth out for me today, Yay! But not so fast he asks me about a full set of X-rays I explained that my prior Dentist was sending them and I dont believe Insurance will cover another set so soon, he says OK and he will be back. Then the X-ray tech takes me back to the X-ray room and says OK we are going to do 10 more X-rays. . What? I question the need for this and she says she will be back. Mind you I am in a immense amount of pain my blood pressure was 169/118 which is way high compared to my normal which is low. At this point I am confused on why all of this could not have been on a follow up appointment. The Dentist had the X-ray of my tooth, its infected and he said he could remove it, and I feel like this is so ridiculous. I politely inform them that at this point 1 hour and 15 min later that I just want to leave. Needless to say I have a abscess and still have this dang tooth in my mouth. The only positive thing was the staff was friendly. I thought I had found a new place for myself and my families Dental needs. I am extremely dissapointed and hope I can find someone else to see before I end up really ill from this ToothThe communication was awful
My appointment was scheduled for 9:15 . I got back at 9:45 .I finally got to see the dentist at 10:30 and I left shortly after .The wait in the lobby was about 45 minutes which i didnt mind. I had went in with an excruciating tooth pain . I had xrays done and pictures of my teeth. The hygentist came in and she was great as was my x-ray tech . The dentist came in to the wrong room first and finally found my room . He seemed rushed and like he couldnt be bothered ..he said he couldnt find any reason for the pain and basically summed it up as if I had a sinus headache and misplaced the pain .I felt terrible leaving like I was listened to or believed ..i will not be back and I do not recommend that dentist I saw to anyone ..everyone else was great .
Very nice and professional! My experience was great!
Want to give a shout out to Shawn! Hes the best office manager! 👏🏽

Great service . Prices are on the high side.
Went and had 2 cavities filled. I have had 4 impacted wisdom teeth removed by military doctors and they had a gentler hand than my nurse here, and in half the time.Starting right off the bat, I show up and they hand me a bill. I then notice my Doctors name is no longer on the wall after I had paid Dr. Whealton, at which point they told me my dentist had changed and no longer worked at aspen dental. I was given no notice and I again iterate this occurred AFTER I had paid. During the procedure the doctor did not introduce herself, and her and the dental assistant took over 3 and a half hours to complete 2 fillings that were not very extensive. They also both left the room for approx. 20 minutes without saying a word at several instances.I would recommend you find another clinic if you want your teeth cleaned.
Everyone extremely nice, professional. very patient with me, calmed my nerves. so far both visits have gone very well. This post was a year ago, since that time everything has changed. my $7000.00 dentures have never fit correctly. i was told by the dentist at the time that lots of people just have to make them work, that not all dentures fit correctly. i owed a bill (which was an honest mistake on my part) for $78, made a $20 pymt on it and they still sent me to a collection agency, but make an appt for me today for a second opinion regarding these dentures that have never fit & I have to use LOTS of adhesive on them, so I went in for second opinion & ive had the appt for a week now but they decided to wait until I came into the office with patients in the waiting room to say out loud that unless I paid the $58 dollars I owe them today they cant see me. I guess TO HELL with the fact they cost me $2000.00 of my own savings!! Guess they dont believe in HIPPA there!! I left in tears. Very unprofessional, rude, but most of all NON-CARING..............................
The staff did a great job and they are very professional!
Wonderful team of professionals! I wont go anywhere else.
Transferred from Aspen Dental in Miamisburg to the one in Middletown and was told that I was considered a new patient at that office and would need to see the dentist there for an exam; even though Aspen in Middletown easily pulled my dental records up online from Miamisburg. Aspen advertises; if folks have no insurance then no problem but can still receive FREE x-rays and exam. I was charged out of pocket even though I had insurance and who knows what Aspen submitted to my insurance carrier.Prior; I had my teeth cleaned there and informed the hygienist that a tooth which the Miamisburg office had filled twice was still problematic. The hygienist in Middletown scheduled me for a free repair (filling) @ the Middletown office. When I was called back one of the techs informed me that I may now need a root canal but my thoughts were Aspen should incur the costs since they were the ones to mess the tooth up to begin with. The tech said that I might need to go back to Miamisburg for the repair. When the dentist arrived to see me her thoughts were it was a completely different filling on the same tooth and since this filling wasnt performed by Aspen then I would be charged. The dentist also portrayed that she was in a bit of a hurry and would try to fit me in-very rude ! Mind you that I was previously scheduled for a repair on that tooth and secondly I informed Aspen that the tooth NEVER bothered me until they originally attempted to fill it twice in Miamisburg. I gave up and left and asked for my $45 back since Aspen in Middletown considered me a new patient the office manager said no that the dentist had performed a limited exam.Believe me folks the $45 is certainly not a life or death situation but most importantly is the credibility of Aspen dental in Middletown, Ohio which to me is NONE. Of all the dentists Ive been to over time I have never received this kind of treatment and one thing for certain is that the Aspen dental in Middletown will NEVER see me again
My intial visit was great, but my actual day of and since, literally nonsense. I have two wisdoms pulled and get no help for pain, none. In agony over ten days after, did all i was told to the max.. Have left numerous messages about helping me with pain, not a single call back, not one!!Now ive left a message,(y do u never answer phone in first place)time for my gum treatment NOTHING im going somewheres else that treats me like im not a $ sign
Very rude and curt office staff. The Dentist couldnt have possibly cared any less what the patient had to say. The receptionist at the front desk had a belligerent and overbearing demenaor. Moreover, the office is NOT equipped to do root canal work on molars!!! I do not recommend this organization.
