10/10 would come here again! Our nail consultant, Mary, was very sweet and friendly. She made us feel very welcomed and made sure we were having a fun time. The place was very clean and they had a variety of spa options that I am curious about trying next time. The pricing was very reasonable (there were some very rude customers after us that were loudly saying their distaste about the pricing. Again they were rude!) I think I got my money’s worth for what I asked for.

Mary was absolutely wonderful!! Did an awesome leg / foot message and great job on the polish. Was so nice and easy to chat with. Thank you for doing such a great job!!

Waste of money! Went there on Friday and my nails look like this on Monday. Got shellac mani and regular pedi. The person that did my nails was nice, but her skills sucked! Further examination of my pedicure once I got home noticed she painted my skin more than the nail on some of my toes. Will not be returning!!!

We love Mary! She is the best. My Mom has Dementia and she knows just what to do to kerp her calm, engaged and relaxed. So relaxed she falls asleep. The pedicure is perfect for 90 yr old nails and the wax wrap helps circulation.So glad we found her❤️

I went to Mary for the first time today for a full set and she’s amazing! Took her time and made sure I loved them. Very good priceUpdating my post, I go in all the time for full sets now! I love them, Mary does all my basic/short, long, fancy, designs, plain, fun nails, just depends what I want. She always listens to what I want and does it perfectly. I moved to Madison from Illinois and was looking for a new nail shop in the area. Not only are they open on Sundays which is Very convenient for me, they are amazing with my 6 year old daughter. The ladies were very personable and made us feel at home. Each time I’ve been here, I’ve been very happy with the work they have done. Good quality, good prices, good atmosphere. I recommend this nail shop to anyone interested in having any nail work done. 5 star nail salon is now my new nail shop and I plan on continuing to do business here as well as recommend to anyone looking for amazing nail techs❤️

The woman that did my mani and pedi was wonderful and did a great job. They are wholesome people and i will absolutely be back. The salon was very clean as well.

3.5 Its the attention to detail for me. Full disclosure, I went there on a Saturday as a walk-in. There was a wait (as I expected) but, in the end, I would have rather been told that they couldnt take me than for the guy to rush through.The nails looked fine, but less than a week later I do have a some chipping in my dip nails. Also, no cuticle work was done at all, which was probably a good thing as my nails were dipped directly into the original container. Not sure what the standard is for that. Finally, their poor plant is infested with mealybugs. Its the attention to detail for me.

We were visiting from out of town and happened upon this place. They were all very sweet and friendly!! Carried in a conversation with all of us to make us feel at home. Their services are exceptional as well! They took their time and cared about their work. 10/10 recommend and will come back when in the area.

These two women are fabulous women on time professionals with lots of pizazz they are perfect take their time with you not rushing you to get to the next person please go get your nails done here

So I went here a while ago and I will NEVER go here again. First of all, they dremeled my fingers and made me bleed multiple times and did not apologize or even acknowledge that I was bleeding even though it was obvious. Second of all, I tried taking them off after a while and it turns I out they use MMA Monomer which is not ok for nails and in fact is for dental use only. This stuff stuck to my nails, was a gooey texture, and I had to take my DOGS NAIL DREMEL to get it off of my hands since I couldnt afford to buy an acrylic removal. Not only was this bad enough but I thought this was normal because this happened multiple times before I read that this is actually not supposed to be normal. If you value your nails and want something good, this is NOT the place to go to.

I had the deluxe spa pedicure and it’s undoubtedly the best pedicure I had till date. The staff were professional and friendly. They take their time in doing their job throughly . The best part is the stone foot massage . Totally worth it !! Highly recommend this place

The salon was clean with a variety of polish colors. Mary was my technician. She is a sweet lady from Vietnam. I selected the basic pedicure which included a foot and leg message and hot towels. Mary did an excellent job! I will definitely be back and would recommend this salon and Mary. I didnt have a manicure so I cant comment on that but for a pedicure it was great!

I do appreciate the workers effort but, I would not recommend this shop. When I went, there were 2 other people with me and one worker decided to do all our nails at once. Had me and another, remove our own previous set as she jumped from person to person. None of our nails came out how we wanted them and just today one of mine has color coming off (just got them done yesterday) so Im not too happy.

Needed emergency pedi and mani. Perfect. Nails still look great a week later.

My boyfriend and I received the deluxe pedicure which included a lavender scented scrub, hot stone massage, paraffin wax, AND hot towel wrap...along with the usual callus removal and nail polish...all for only $50. It was very relaxing and my legs have never felt so smooth! Will definitely visit again.

I just love Mary, Lena and the other workers. They are so kind and take their time to make you very happy. If something happens and you arent satisfied they will fix it at no cost. I dont like that the owner takes 20% of their tip if it is by credit card. They work all day and most 7 days a week and only get paid commission. Tip them in cash so the greedy owner doesnt take their hard earned money.

Went here a few weeks ago- I wish I could give more stars. The service was AMAZING!! This is now my new favorite nail salon of all time. I went with my sisters and got the dipped powder nails, and I am very pleased with them. Friendly employees and beautiful end result. If you want to get your nails done, this is the only place to do so.

I went there and asked for the outside of my ring finger nail to have gems along the sides and to have 1 gem in the middle of the end of the rest of my nails and she did not do anything right on the ring fingers and the gems were no where near the outside and instead of them running along with the coffin shape the gems are in a rounded shape along my nail, the other single gems are no where near centered and I only got them done 2 days ago and have already lost 6 gems, she also painted all over my fingers and all my nails are diffrent lengths and crooked, they are very nice here but they do not know what they are doing what so ever, I payed 80$ for a set that looks like it should have been 20$

Absolutely terrible! When I got there for my appointment, no one was working and the salon was closed. When a staff member finally arrived, they were 15 minutes late to open. When I walked in, it looked like they didn’t clean up from the day before. There were dirty utensils all over and even dirty water in the pedicure stations. When the first staff member was working on my nails, the owner of the salon was hovering and being very rude to a point where my original nail artist quit her job right in front of me and in the middle of doing my nails! The owner tried to finish my nails but messed them up completely! I was sitting there for an hour and a half and my nails were unacceptable! I came back later that day and had my nails re-done by a different staff member, who told me she was also quitting at the end of that month, and my nails were almost fixed but they weren’t great. In the end, I sat there for three hours that day and I still had to pay full price! I will NEVER go here again!

The prices where so low considering the amazing work that went into my nails. After going here multiple times I have gotten both the acrylic and gel nails, both of which have turned out beautifully! Such intricate designs and they do exactly what you want, how you want. Five starts isnt nearly enough!!

I got may nails don e and they were amazing they offered me many amazing options for my nails and they gave me ideas. They also were very friendly, nice, and kind best nail saloon o have been to in a while.

I highly recommend 5 Star Nail Spa in Middleton, WI. When my manicurist/pedicurist, Mariy, relocated to working at this spa, I followed her. Mariy loves her work. She is excellent and personable. Mariy consistently goes beyond with her attention to details: cuticles, removal of dead skin, massages, application of polish/gel/powder. With the Covid-19 pandemic, I am very particular with regard to only going to shops, stores, or service places that were early adopters of insisting that employees and customers wear masks, distance socially, clean/sanitize, and follow other CDC and Dane County DHS protocols for health/safety. The owner of 5 Star Nail and Spa has maintained cleaning/sanitation protocols. Plexi-glass barriers/dividers were installed at each manicure station. While there are fewer patrons, stations and seating are appropriately spaced/distanced.While I have been in for fewer manicures and/or pedicures this year due to my demanding work schedule and the pandemic, the services I scheduled and received from Mariy and this spa have been consistently of high quality. This spa accommodates walk-in clients in addition to appointments. Consistent quality and value!

I was able to walk in at 5:30 during the week without an appt and get service immediately. They have a great color selection and even the new powder colors (though I havent tried them yet). I got a spa pedicure and gel manicure. The staff was very friendly and the salon was clean. It is very convenient to my daily routine, so I cant wait to go back.

Me and my 2 sister-in-laws went to get our nails and toes done. They were very accommodating as we were walk-ins. We got helped right away. We were all very satisfied with the way our nails came out considering we all got very different styles. Technician was nice and funny. He did my design really nice, it was very close to the design I showed him. I forgot to ask the lady who did my toes but she did a very good job and was very nice.

This place is great! Its my go-to place for pedicures and I recently tried a gel manicure which looks amazing. The shop has been recently renovated and it looks great. They always keep the place very clean and uncluttered. The staff is polite and they provide excellent service. I highly recommend this spot!

Technician was awesome!! She was very patient and creative with my nails. She informed me of everything she was doing with my nails and worked hard to fix the imperfections from the last nail technician I had went to before. My nails turned out beautiful and she didnt rush them. I appreciate the great service . I advice anyone who is going here to go.

This was one of the best manicures/pedicures I have ever had. The modern clean design of the salon was perfect and it was professional and tidy yet warm and inviting. The polish selection was huge and it was very easy to show them a picture of what I was looking for and the nail technician perfected it. I was pleasantly surprised with the time they took with me and I never felt rushed. The complimentary beverage was an added plus and Tara checked back with me along with other staff members several times to make sure I was enjoying my services. I am from the states but if I ever come back to Calgary this is the place I will revisit.🌾🌾🌾🌾🌾🌾🌾🌾

The deluxe pedicure is the best! Youll get a hot stone massage on too of the foot massage. Technician is very caring, always checks up on you if youre doing okay. Will have them as my go to for nails and waxing.

Beware of the quality of their dip nail products...or how its applied. I tried 5 Star for the first time last week because they had availability and reasonable prices. Their dip powder was a brand I wasnt familiar with (NuGenesis, I think was the brand?) but it certainly didnt sit right on my nails. The next day, the top coat started peeling off, revealing the dull dip layer underneath. I went back in after a couple of days whenmore of the top coat was peeling on more nails, to see if they could fix it. They happily redid the top coat again, but used a different clear product (and treated it with UV). However, the next day, the same thing happened again...peeling/chipping top coat! This is really bizarre because other places that Ive had dip powder on my nails, it has lasted for 3 weeks! I have to get it reapplied due to outgrowth...not a peeling top coat. In summary, Im heading back to the bigger nail salons that have the more standard dip powders (and top coats) like Chisel and SNS brands, that I know last on my nails. Id rather spend $55 on a dip treatment that will last 3 weeks vs a $45 treatment that only lasts a few days at best. :( 2 stars for the sweet people at the salon and their availability....minus 3 stars for the quality of the product, the application/durability, as well as overall value.

First time getting a pedicure, but thanks to them probably wont be the last. Not that bad honestly and theyre super nice here. I even had a cut on my toe and they treated and disinfected it.

First time here- Kim did gel (shellac) mani. One of the best manis I have had. Have found that gel lasts when they are careful about clean paint lines (aka not touching the cuticles). Happy :)

My gel polish started chipping off a couple days after getting them done. Took a really long time

Awesome place, glad I stumbled upon it when in desperate need of a manicure in Middleton a couple of weeks ago! Very friendly staff and technicians. My gel manicure has lasted more than 2 weeks -- the gentleman who did my nails did an AMAZING job -- perfect shape, perfect polish, very high quality work. And the environment is clean, comfortable and inviting.

I had a pedicure and shallec manicure done. The pedicure was okay, the polish applied wasnt the best. My shellac manicure was just horrible- the polish ran off the edges of my nail which resulted in the polish lasting about 3 days before it started to lift and peeled off. I was also over charged by 10 dollars. I wouldnt recommend.

Love this place, I go every two weeks. I make an appointment with the same two people for my Gel and Pedi, I will not disclose the names because I dont want them to get booked, lol.The place opens early and closes late, I suggest getting there first thing to get your things done.

The nail shape was not what I asked for and they did the dip nails wrong. My friend got gel and she had bumps in her polish. My fingers started bleeding from all the filing. I was also there for 2 hours with was ridiculous.

They did an awesome job on my fill and pedicure but when I dared to ask a question or was unclear about her direction given, she screamed at me. It was uncomfortable and embarrassing. I spend a lot of money on nails and toes, time to find another place.
