I had a very bad experience with this agency, I rent a car for Mexico with Dollar agency through them, Renting Carz confirmed and charge the total on my credit card, making me think this was warranted and confirmed. When I arrived the agency didnt have the car I rent and offered me a more expensive one, I also had to deal with RentingCarz for the refund, so very disappointing.When I can RentingCarz they apologize and explain that now they needed to do an investigation to reimburse me my money, which took them around a week. One of their agents asked me to send the contract I had to take from another renting car agency, to see if they could pay the difference, but I never hear back from them, even after I send reminders about this, it did sound fair that they took certain responsibility, since at the end they confirmed and charged, even when they have had this experience before with this company. So, dont trust on what they say, at least if you travel to Mexico.

Worst experience ever. Rented a car, never received confirmation email. The charge was made on the account. Never even picked up the car but received a satisfactiin survey. IMPOSSIBLE to get through to them through phone or chat. DONT EVER RENT CARS WITH THIS COMPANY

Its a scam. Payment was taken from the card. Reservation was there but couldnt pick up the car because the payment was not done to Hertz.Cant get ahold of no one over the phone. Dont use this service.

I made an online car reservation and need to cancel. The phone number in Brazil does not work and on the website says it only cancels through contact by phone. TERRIBLE

The worst experience I have ever had with a rental car agency.. Please never rent from them. I was told that I would be charged a no show fee from the rental agency which I was supposed to pick up the car named Thrifty. When I spoke to Thrifty they stated in actuality it is RentingCarz that charged me. When I called to dispute this claimwith RentingCarz, they gave me the run around and would not even let me speak to a manager. It has been almost over a week and this issue has still not been resolved and RentingCarz has not been responsive or helpful. They still have not provided me a response and on top of that Thrifty has stated to me that RentingCarz has overcharged me. This is such a scam, please never use them!I showed up at the thrifty counter and the manager spoke to RentingCarz and said that thrifty was not charging me on their side as I indeed had shown up! RentingCarz provides a lot of inconsistencies on their side and are not quick to respond or resolve. The worst customer service experience I have ever had renting a car! I will never use themagain.

Scam! they make you think you pay less than you actually do

Best price, but doenst work very well, we input our credit card info and they say that theres a problem, you go to the chat and they say to talk to the bank or credit card people, they never know how to fix the issue, but if you try to use the credic card elsewhere, it works fine.What matters if you have good discount if you cant use?! Try other places, its safer and it works.

The best experience renting a car online. I spent a long time looking at Hertz, Avis, Alamo and other sites, and found out that this site has the best prices anywhere and so very easy to use. Highly recommend it and will continue using it going forward.

We made the reservation 2 months ago, when we went to pick the car up they said that they dont have the car that we reserved instead it they have a small car available, we already paid for SUV. Also the people is so rude. Avoid this place

Horrible. accepted a reservation for a rental company that would be closed at pick-up time. Its been 30 days since it happened and they dont want to return the amount paid to me. I do not recommend this company.

Verdaderamente una estafa, te venden el seguro a prueba de todo. Cuando llegas a la agencia para recoger el carro te vuelven a cobrar el seguro porque los de RentingCarz no las reconoce la agencia de alquiler. A mi me robaron 250 dólares y hasta ahora Renting Carz no responde para nada, llevo 9 meces tratando de que me devuelvan el dinero, pero no responden para nada. Uno de los Empleados de Renting Carz me dijo cuando estaba en la agencia de alquiler que pagara el seguro y que ellos me lo iban a devolver, pero hasta ahora no he tenido respuesta.No los recomiendo para nada.

I am in Miami, we rent a car through rentingcars with Hertz, they tell us that there are no cars, and although we selected the international airport, they sent us to an office that is an hour from the airport where we asked for it, in Hertz they tell us that this is the problem of using third parties. Shameful. we rented the car in Rentingcarz, when we arrived at Enterprise La Paz, BCS (where the service was disastrous by the way) they tell us that there are no cars available and RentingCarz did not give us a solution after hours of calls (there is no way they will answer the phone). in the end we had to rent through another agency on our own (we had to pay double). Rentingcarz told us that they would return the money and a month later RentingCarz still has not refunded the money. never more. moral: cheap is paid.

They are pessimistic, a scam, they charge you for a service that does not exist, they refer you to a car rental company, they tell you that they do not have available and they want to rent you another with an extra charge that is like starting the process again. But to inform about the service, pity.They never answer the phone, or the mails, or the web chat.The service is outsourced, and they are not able to pass the information correctly.I arrived at the airport, and nobody knew the rental house. No one passed the information correctly.I had to go pick up the vehicle to a rental house called Thrifty, and nobody informed me. After calling an hour on the phone, sending emails, chatting on the web, I have no choice but to take an Uber to my hotel.Their response was the following day: thank you for contacting us while we were out of service. We apologize for the inconvenience, at an airport information point they could inform you where the Thrifty office was located.And even then, three days after what happened, nobody was able to contact me, or apologize for the problem.I do not recommend it at all.

I rented a car 2 times with this company using the PROMO rate. Prices including full insurance are much more convenient than doing it directly with the rental company.Once the online purchase is made, with the printed voucher the car can be withdrawn at the Alamo counter (in my case) and it was not necessary to pay a penny more.Super recommended.
