Let me first start by saying that the customer service is amazing! Marcos got back to me in lightning speed of me emailing him. He communicated throughout the week to make sure we were still on for our session, was extremely knowledgeable about his boat / boards / etc. He made the experience well worth it! The boat itself was beautiful and clean as well as the equipment. We will definitely back and had the best time! Thank you so much!

This was SO SO fun, and Marcos is such a professional and patient teacher. I went with my middle-aged plus dad-bod self, a teenage son and two of his friends. Two were beginners and the two of us experienced. We were all able to do it and have a great successful time, and Marcos took us to parts of the bay that were not choppy despite it being kind of windy. I heard about it from a friend whose daughter went for a birthday party and they also had a total blast. I was a little worried because I mostly waterski and this was wakeboarding, but really had such a great time. It was very clear that Marcos really knows what he is doing. We live nearby so will absolutely be back often.

Marco is the best. We did a wakeboard and wake surf lesson with myself and my 8 year son. Marco gave me a ton of instruction and improved my wake surfing a ton. Most importantly, he was amazing with my kid. I will be 100% be doing another lesson soon.

My girlfriend and I booked the 90 minute wake surfing session and loved it! What a great way to spend time on the water in Miami. Marco and Joey were so professional, friendly, and fun. Great coaching and advice to get us both wake surfing with no rope after just a few attempts. New wake boat and boards as well. This was the second time I booked with Gator bait. I came back because they are such good instructors, the boats are clean and nice, the pricing is reasonable and they are patient to help all of the customers try to get up on the board. I feel like they really went out of their way to take good care of us and I will be back.

Had a great time with these guys. Communication was easy getting things set up. They showed up on time. Grew up wake boarding, these guys have an amazing boat (fits 10 people, throws a nice wake, easy to play your own music, and a smooth ride in choppy water), and if youre an experienced boarder, this guy is a great driver as well. Finally, they did a fantastic job teaching my friends how to wake surf and wake board.

I had a great experience on the water. Marcos is a real good instructor and communicated in an easy to understand way. The boat and equipment were top notch as stated. I was worried about the conditions since winds were 25-30 mph in Miami Beach, but Marcos had me out to a pretty calm spot within 5 minutes of leaving the dock. The best wakeboarding school and instructors!

Very knowledgeable and professional. I brought my wife to Miami to celebrate our anniversary and I forgot to do the only thing she asked me to do which was make reservations for wakeboarding. Sunday morning she asks when we are wakeboarding. I try to make reservations but there is zero availability anywhere in the area. Marco is the only person out of 7 or 8 places I called that tells me “It’s early if anyone cancels he’ll let me know”. Two hours later as I’m shopping with my wife trying to buy my way out of the dog house Marco calls and lets me know there was a cancellation at 6:00 pm. His last available spot on Sunday. His unselfish professionalism and customer service bailed me out of a hole and made my wife’s trip. Add that to his knowledge and teaching skills and you can’t go wrong.

Regardless of whether you’ve been boarding your entire life or it is your first time, you can’t go wrong with Gator Bait Wake!!! You receive top instruction behind an absolutely beautiful boat that runs like a dream. I highly recommend anyone to hire them. You will never be disappointed!

I came with a group of 3 to try wakesurfing for the first time. Nick was our first instructor and he was chill, patient and helpful. Our experience was so fun that we came back 2 days later for another session 😆Our second instructor Marcos, just like Nick, was super chill and pro. We were able to KIND OF wakesurf after 2 sessions. Biscayne Bay is a calm place to learn and you have the beautiful city of Miami as a backdrop. Marcos is a true professional in every sense of the word - my daughters have surfed before but he was able to get them to the next level. We cant wait until our next trip.

I visited Miami in January and with a small wetsuit i felt fine. Gator Bait was very patient with my friend and I learning for our first times. Both snowboarded before but never wake board. We spent two hours for two people which was just enough. Next time i go ill spend less time falling and more time above the water lol

I took my boyfriend wakeboarding for his birthday. We did an hour on the boat which was enough time for two people. Marcos was a great instructor and gave us many tips to help us improve our skills. Well I’ve been wakesurfing for a few years, so I can totally say that our captain and coach was amazing! Very knowledgeable and just super nice. Boats and boards are great, water warm:) my bf made a great progress trying wakesurfing for the second time in his life!

Joey and Marcos were great instructors. My boys (20 and 17) were able to get to another level of skill. It was cold (58 degrees) but no worries as the boat had two wetsuits. Great day with the boys and they said it was their favorite part of the Christmas vacation.

Plenty of space, incredible speakers, unmatched coaching. My squad of 9 and myself had a radical time in and out of the water. Definitely a must go!
