We traveled from Indiana to Miami to get married! We have nothing but amazing things to say. If we could get remarried over and over again here, we absolutely would. They were so efficient and made sure everything went smooth for our big day. It was literally a dream come true. Amazing venue. Amazing food. Amazing staff. Amazing drinks! Everything! Not to mention, beautiful views. We love love love vista Lago ballroom!!

I had only 3 weeks to plan and execute my engagement party and was very nervous about finding a venue and vendors. I was lucky enough to stumble upon Vista Lago and they took care of the rest. All I had to do was explain our cultural norms, my ideas, and they got it! From making sure our religious dietary needs were met to making sure our guests were comfortable and taken care of, they had it down packed. The customizable all inclusive package was a blessing, zero stress planning. All I had to worry about was showing up with hair and make up! Jose, Roly, Rachel, and Raquel were very responsive and attentive to detail. They even had space for the photobooth. Amazing service. My guests loved the food and the photo ops outside. Would recommend and have future events here!*** if you are looking for a venue that can cater halal food, they got you!

We had our daughter’s 15 Celebration at Vista Lago Ballroom last Friday and we loved it!!! The process went smooth from the time that we got there to the time we left. They went above and beyond our expectations. Very organized. The coordinator and the staff were very pleasing and made us feel at ease, specially at the time of the big entrance. The DJ was amazing, the food and the cake delicious, and what we loved the most the flowers were so beautiful!!! The florist really loves her work and it shows. I feel like we were in Wonderland. So special! Thank you for making our daughter’s night unforgettable! 💙

Environment was good for a small wedding. The food was average. We had chicken, rice and veggies. The bartenders staff was awesome.

We were married there on August 14, and it was perfect! My guests cannot stop talking about how beautiful the venue is, how great the food was, and the attentive service they received. Jose and Raquel are incredible to work with. Very professional, knowledgeable, and patient! We booked in 2019 and had to postpone in 2020 due to the pandemic, and they were flexible and accommodating every step of the way. RJ was our day of coordinator, and she was non-stop making sure we had everything we needed.The venue is a perfect space for any event, and the team makes sure your event comes out exactly as you planned it! They were very organized and kept things running smoothly. I did not have to worry about anything except enjoying my wedding. They were all professional and had great attitudes, which made me and my family feel at home.Roly, the DJ, is the best!! Outside view was amazingly beautiful! The ballroom was a perfect size for a small gathering. I highly recommend for weddings. It was a 45 minute drive so consider your guests, but the place is really nice.

Ive been to a few weddings here. The new construction behind the lake is not the ideal backdrop for a wedding, but it is well worth the price. The music, venue, and food was pretty good too.

From the moment we met Raquel and Jose we knew we were in the right place! They took the time to explain every detail of what Vista Lago would offer us if we chose them for our wedding. Having previously been guests there at one of our best friend’s wedding, we knew the quality was top notch. That helped us make the decision to book with them for our big day. Honestly, it’s the best all-inclusive event location in Miami. What you get for what you pay is beyond what you would expect.In the 6 months between our booking and the wedding day, Raquel was available to answer every single question I had (which, when planning a wedding mid-pandemic ends up being many more questions than normal). She was patient and helpful every step of the way, always cheerful and friendly. On the day, they took care of EVERYTHING. Every single piece of decor, every detail, was arranged exactly how we had asked for it to be.As soon as our ceremony ended, we were asked what we wanted to drink, they made sure to have a plate with the food our guests were enjoying during the cocktail hour to make sure we didn’t miss out, they bustled my dress, went over our music selections to make sure when we entered the reception the rest of the night would be just as perfect.The food is delicious! Several guests commented afterwards how much they loved it. The music was awesome...they listened to what we asked for and delivered 100% of it. We were so happy on our wedding day and love that we get to reminisce on how wonderful it was thanks to everyone at Vista Lago! Can’t recommend it enough!

My husband and I had our wedding reception at Vista Lago Ballroom last month and were very satisfied with how smoothly everything came out along with the customer service. The owners and coordinators really pour their heart and soul into their work, ensuring that youre taken care of. I think this is one of the best bang for your back venues in Miami -- we did a lot of research and no other place beat the price for the value that youre receiving (beautiful space, good food, etc). We loved the inclusive packages they offered (huge time/stress saver from a planning standpoint!) and how they were flexible when it came to accommodating our specific needs and requests. We received great feedback from our guests as well -- it was truly a party! Just like we wanted it to be.I did wish their staff was more response to my email correspondence leading up to the big day, but I understand they are running a large operation with only a few people. I learned phone was the best way to reach them if you had any questions. The parking lot isnt the largest, so we had guests that had to park out on the street. And we also heard that the food took a little long to come out. But those minor issues aside, we would definitely recommend Vista Lago Ballroom to any couple looking for an affordable, yet beautiful place to celebrate your wedding day!

Amazing venue and location. The staff is extremely attentive and makes sure every detail of the wedding is accomplished. Even small details are not overlooked. I can not stress enough how much they go beyond what is expected. For good reason they are booked year round. Not one of my guest had a bad thing to say and that is not an easy achievement!

Would highly recommend! We had our wedding October 4, and it was perfect. The staff made sure my event day went smoothly. They were helpful, attentive, and well priced. The food was delicious! Our experience with Vista Lago was great!! We had an awesome wedding and enjoyed our special day very much. We received plenty of compliments on all the decorations and the way the hall looked that day. Leydis was very sweet and made me feel ensured that everything would go smoothly the day of the wedding, as well as provided great suggestions. The day of the wedding Cecilia took care of everything in a phenomenal way and made sure I didnt have to raise a finger for anything (Thank you so much Cecilia!!). The reason that I am giving them four stars instead of five is because the day of the wedding I had multiple guests tell me the serving staff was rude to them and one of them even dropped a cup of the soda on the table and just left it there, did not clean it up right away. Obviously the day of the wedding that was very awkward and embarrassing to hear such complaints. I let Cecilia know and like a true professional she addressed it immediately. Also the whole time leading up to the wedding I was dealing with and communicating with Leydis, which made me feel at ease because I had met with her personally several times and she knew exactly every little detail for the day of the wedding. On the actual day I was kind of blindsided to see Cecilia there, whom I had not built rapport with at all and had not discussed everything with in detail. I feel that being informed prior that Cecilia was going to be my coordinator the day of the wedding and having a chance to build rapport with her would have been better and made me feel better. The reason this was an issue for me was because the day of the wedding although the centerpieces were beautiful they were not the way I have discussed and chosen with Leydis the day of my tasting so I was a little bummed about that. Overall my experience was great and I would recommend them to my friends, there are just little things that should be addressed. Thank you to everyone at Vista Lago for an amazing wedding!!

Went to a friends wedding here. Beautiful location with a nice backdrop by the lake. Balllroom was very spacious and had a great sound system. The lighting set the mood well. Would recommend for any parties under 200 people. Any more than that, and it may get crowded. Food was ok but wasnt expecting a five star dish.

Went to a dear friend’s wedding here a couple of weeks ago. Beautiful place!The food was very good and the staff very courteous. This is a great venue for small weddings, quinces and other events.

Jose and his team are a 10/10 all around. They helped us through every part of the wedding planning process and helped make our day absolutely amazing in some of the worse kinds of conditions. They allowed us to lean on them and they pulled through 100%! Couldn’t be more happy with them and I would highly recommend to anyone looking!

Jose and Raquel at Vista Lago were so accommodating and helped us through the transition of moving our wedding to a later date, 11.14.2020. I cant stress enough how Covid has impacted all of our lives. However, having Jose, Raquel, and their staff on our team made things that much easier. We mustve asked 50+ questions to both owners Raquel and Jose and every time they answered each question with such patience and kindness. By the time our day finally arrived, I was at ease knowing that we were in good hands. They truly do everything for you (set up, decorate, food, drinks, etc.), and guide you throughout the whole process. Even when one or two things dont go as planned, not the venues mishap, Raquel still troubleshoot it right then and there. Everyone is still talking about how gorgeous everything came out and how much care went to everything. The venue is taking Covid precautions and that was such a concern for our friends and family. Truly my familys Covid concerns were put at ease when they experienced the professionalism themselves. I truly recommend this place if you want a beautiful, affordable, and effortless wedding! Had my wedding here it was absolutely excellent. I shopped around to all the venues and let me say this is the best place for a wedding or any special event in Miami. The owners are wonderful people Jose and Raquel. Their food is absolutely delicious and All decorations are beautiful and all included. The place is completely remodeled inside and out and you get a beautiful lake view in the back. Best part of all the price is extremely affordable and reasonable.

Jose and the team been awesome front day one, I called multiple times being a out of state bride and they always answer all my questions and took all my worries away. I had to reschedule my wedding due to the CVIOD19 and it the process was seamless. The venue is clean and beautiful, even the vendors that was recommended are professional and assist me with issues I have. Vista Largo proved all the qualities I was looking for due to the feedback from wedding wire. I recommend this venue for any special occasion, you will be expressed!!!

This place is so unprofessional I put in and inquiry to host and event and whoever emailed me made me feel like my money is not good enough to host my event they could possible had one of the best client they ever work with and for the person to suggest I take my business else where that was rude and unprofessional you should be treating potential new client as you would treat your other clients I will never recommend this place to anyone and if you do go there I would think before you contact these people my money is just as green I hope you treat your next potential client better then you treated me.

The food is good and the staff was very accommodating. One down side was that they are located near an airport and there is currently construction still happening across the lake.

The staff was very helpful. I was panicking because of an expected hurricane so the owners reached out to me to calm me down and reassure me they will work with me as much as they could. We held our daughter Chelsea’s wedding and reception at Vista Lago Ballroom on April 19. I can only compliment the management and staff of the Ballroom for the wonderful, professionally and smoothly run affair they created for Chelsea and our family. Everything ran right on schedule, but the staff have a way of making everyone feel comfortable, relaxed and at home without any of the rush and hassle we’ve experienced at other facilities. You can attribute that to their level of preparedness. They arranged everything - the food, music and party games, and happily accommodated a few surprises we arranged for the bride, groom and guests. We didn’t really have to lift a finger or put out any fires. The food was very, very good and I think it’s more than fair to say our guests had a great time. I should also add the pricing here was excellent, easily to the low side of the quotes we received. This proved especially impressive in lieu of the quality of the reception they provided for us. We’re completely out of daughters but if we had any more of them to marry off, we’d gladly recommend they check this wonderful place out first.

My husband and I wanted to have our wedding in a space that we could make our vision come to life. Vista Lago was the place to do it. My wedding ran as smooth as silk with no errors. I have received so many compliments from my family saying how great the food and staff was. You have to be on top of the staff with emails and phone calls, but all in all my wedding turned out great!

The owners are the most amazing people you would ever meet . My wedding date was originally on May, and since everything was closed they work with us to reschedule our day . They are always available with any question . Super nice people and amazing place

Just had our wedding here. It was more than we could ever imagine for our wedding. Vista Lago went above and beyond expectation. The venue is beautiful. An unbeatable view of the lake with a fountain. Plus all of the palm trees make it a perfect place for photo ops. The inside was gorgeous. The high ceilings and wood floors make the place look so classy. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone who wants to have a perfect wedding. Thank you Vista Lago for making our wedding day our best day yet!

I had my wedding at Vista Lago last week and it was mind-blowing! We were planning the wedding from a 1,000 mile away (literally), and there is no way things wouldve worked out so perfectly without the planners at Vista Largo. The decor was breathtaking, exactly the way we wanted it. One of the planners helped the photograph find spots and time to capture the best pictures. The DJ made sure that the programming went smoothly and intercepted for us with one of the outside vendors who were not doing what they promised. Overall, these people went above and beyond to make my husband and I feel like king and queen on our big day. Thank you!

Joss and the whole team been awesome when it came to my daughter wedding during the CVIOD19. Always professional and understanding, The team answered all questions without any hesitation and was always there for us.

Do not give these people your business! First off they do not allow you to bring in your own decorator or designer. Although they lie and say they do. When my decorator spoke with Jose(the owner), he told her she could only use things that was sourced through their company and if he did allow her to use outside decorations, he would take the credit for it. Next, they take forever to respond to your emails, calls or texts. Days! I would make a payment and they would take days to send a receipt or invoice. There is no designated place for the bridal party to get ready here. They tell you, you can use their office to get ready, if needed. And most importantly, there are no refunds no matter how early in advance you cancel! I did not find this out until I canceled. All of these things plus some personal reasons, I needed to cancel. I was 8 months out from wedding date and had already paid 5k. There was no work done for my wedding, gave 8 months notice and they still refused to give me even a partial refund. Funny, how it was always difficult for me to get in contact with the venue when I needed to (I would have to contact the owner), but when they wanted me to sign their cancellation contract and agree to their no refund policy they contacted me almost daily! Now that I have rescheduled my wedding date, there is no way in hell I would give the corrupt people another dime. They are a business with no morals and no values. If you do your research you will find much better venues, with much better packages, that are honest and allow you to decorate to your liking, at an affordable price. BEWARE.

Beautiful venue, wonderful and attentive day-of coordinator (Cecy), very passionate and fun DJ/MC (Rolly). Vista Lago has it all! From the first day meeting with them to the day of the wedding, everyone we encountered was very attentive and helpful from start to finish. Even one week later our guests are still raving about how fun and beautiful our wedding was and it is all thanks to the amazing staff at Vista Lago! We would definitely recommend this venue to any couple who is looking for a beautiful venue that takes half of the stress of wedding planning away for you and replaces it with good times and lasting memories!

They were AMAZING! The entire staff is very friendly and very attentive. They think of everything for the special day to make sure you dont forget a thing. No need to worry about anything. They are the total package, DJ Rolly was perfect music was on point the entire night. The food was delicious from the hours de ors to the main dish to the cuting of the cake. My decorations was setup just to my expectations. We had the best time. The comments from everyone was overwhelming about everything. Thank you for all the love and attention it was INCREDIBLE!!!!

Mid-sized ball room with high ceilings. Nice concrete lake front patio in the back for pre-event functions, or as additional outdoor space. We were there for a wedding reception. Everything looked very nice. Food was good. Drinks from the bar were adequate.

Vista Lago Ballroom was EXCELLENT in hosting my Wedding Reception on August 14, 2016. I must admit, I am a VERY meticulous bride and Jose and Raquel tailored to my every need and desire. I wanted my day to be SPECTACULAR and they delivered with even MORE than I could imagine. Not only what they offer is impressive, but their management during the event is PRICELESS. Their employees are on top of everything and everyone, making sure all is in place and according to the schedule. If you want a perfect wedding, book your venue at Vista Lago Ballroom. You wont regret it!

We had our wedding catered by Vista Lago on 2/17/18 and I have to say that they did an absolutely wonderful job!! The food was great, the flowers were beautiful and the table settings looked amazing. Cecilia was the absolute best all night. She set up candles that my mom bought and even decorated our cake with flowers from my bouquet!! Jose, Raquel and their entire team were just great to work with. When the chair covers didnt fit the chairs at my venue they added these gorgeous silver chairs at no additional cost. Anything that they could do to make my wedding run smoothly, they did. All of our guests were just so impressed by the whole wedding and that is thanks to the amazing job that Vista Lago did. You just cant go wrong with choosing them!!! Thanks so much!!

Where do I even begin? From the very beginning Vista Lago was always assisting me in making sure this wedding came out perfectly! My mother (the bride) didnt know exactly what she wanted, but with the help and guidance of Vista Lago we were able to create her dream wedding! They were very good at keeping my flash mob a secret from the bride and groom. As well as accommodating all special requests made by the bride, groom, and myself. I could have never done this without the help of the staff of Vista Lago!

Vista Lago was a dream come true venue! Amazing outside area! The ballroom is beautiful! The staff was exceptional!!! I gave no words to thanks each and everyone one them starting by Leidys who was AMAZING! Raquel and Jose from the moment we walked in we knew this was the perfect place! They were so welcoming, pleasing and professional! DJ Roly kept us dancing all night long with the best music!!! The food was so so delicious! All the vendors used were on the venue list and I can only say the were top notch! The cake, the flowers. The pampering and TLC... well I can go on and on and on! THANK YOU FOR MAKE OUR DAUGHTER AND SON IN LAWS WEDDING A DREAM COME TRUE!

Great place and great view

Jose and his staff went above and beyond to make sure that our experience was first class. On the day of the festivities, everything was coordinated and ran extremely smooth. The day-of planner made sure that we (bride & groom) had not a worry. The food was phenomenal as we were given many compliments from guest and family. All in all Jose and team know what they are doing and will make sure you have an event to remember for years to come. Overall 10/10

My husband and I recently married at Vista Lago Ballroom. Everyone was absolutely amazing. We wouldnt change anything about the process. They worked with our work schedules and were flexible as well as reasonable prices. Everyone on the entire staff and management were amazing and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this establishment!

My husband and I absolutely loved everything about our wedding at Vista Lago Ballroom! The food was delicious, the DJ phenomenal, and Raquel was a godsend. Jose was always very attentive to any questions I had and open to all suggestions and last minute details. Everything was perfect from the flowers to the cake! Everything was well timed and went smoothly all we can really say is we loved it.

I had a birthday party at Vista Lago Ballroom this past Friday, January 20, 2017 and had the best experience. From day one everyone was extremely helpful. Leydis was amazing! She helped take care of all the details imaginable and made sure everything was put together seamlessly. Raquel and Jose did a great job with the music and answered all my hundred questions. The food was great and so was the service. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to put together any event. The location is beautiful and the staff is exceptional.

Vista Lago Ballroom is the perfect venue for couples looking for a beautiful venue that includes pretty much everything. We are very happy we found this place . Really enjoyed my wedding and appreciate the staff for putting us at ease on our big day. Things were non traditional due to us being a LGBTQ couple but they treated us like family.
