Agent Yuly Solbavarro is the BOMB!!!!! I rarely write reviews about anything, which says a lot about writing this review. I was having the worst couple days dealing with my car insurance provider (progressive) aka REGRETsive. the lady was extremely rude and unprofessional and just didn’t care. I called other insurance they weren’t able to help to help me. I was frustrated until I was referred by someone to call GEICO I reached yuly. Yuly was completely the opposite. Not only she cared, friendly, professional, and very helpful she was able to help me with exactly what I needed, on top of that she got me a way better deal than progressive with zero stress. She saved me from being ripped-off from a car insurance, I’m flabbergasted. It’s people like her that make customers day. Danm I just wrote a whole paragraph, that’s how awesome she is. After all these years working with this Geico agency and always being satisfied with their service, today I have to give a written feedback regarding their phone customer service. I first called and a subject answered the phone in the most rude and unprofessional way. Since I had no chance to ask him a question, I called again. Second time, another individual answered the phone and he was also rude. Not as impolite as the first one though...Seemed to me that they were so ‘busy’ that they couldn’t be professional over the phone. I called the 800 Geico and spoke to the headquarters office and what a difference.Maybe the Calle 8 people need more training. They won’t have me as a customer again. They can keep their unprofessional style for other victims.

They charged me $800 per month for car insurance for the state of New York City (NYC). I am a college graduate w/ a license and ok credit. GEICO scammed me!!!!! Big time because I was absolutely desperate. I got nothing from the insurance parkage.

GEICO IS ACTING IN BAD FAITH TO DELAY, CONFUSE AND PAY LESS OR REFUSE THE PAYMENT.I’m the co-owner of a Toyota Rav4 with my mother. My mother (68 years old) had an accident were the car was a total lost. After my mother accept the settlement about the price of the car the payment was stopped because Geico considered that they have to do an investigation that can take in their own words unlimited time”. Let me explain the case.-My mother had a bad accident where she could have been killed (i’ll attach the picture of the car)-My mother has NOT made an injury claim, only is asking to get paid for the value of the car.-My mother and i never had an injury claim in our lives.-With the settlement that my mother accept of the value of the car WE CAN NOT BUY A SIMILAR CAR.While Geico use comparables to get the cash value of the car, those are based on internet ads that not necessary are true, they don’t know if those comparables are in excellent condition as my car, or had accidents or structural damages in the past.They also do not consider “$899 dealer fee of Kendall Toyota” very common in Miami to advertise the car at a lower value. Some comparables are also from smaller “buy here pay here” dealerships like Biltmore Motors” that should not be comparables.-The Geico estimate also doesn’t consider the cost of the license plate of around $400-Also my mother has $1000 deductible.-Also we already spend $800 for 1 month of a rental car. (My mother didn’t have rental car coverage in the policy)-The debt in the car is much less than the value of the car, is been financed with SE Toyota Financial with 0% APR. If we buy a similar car the interest will be higher.The car went after the accident to what they call a “Geico Bodyshop”, my mother call from the scene of the accident to the Geico phone number to ask if the car can be towed to this place, the answer: “yes this is a Geico bodyshop, the adjuster can go there to do the appraisal of the damage”.-My mom has never met, spoken, texted with anyone related to this accident either the bodyshop, the person that tow the car, or the other party involved.GEICO INTENTIONALLY CONFUSES AND THREATENS THAT THEY CAN STOP THE PAYMENT FOR UNLIMITED TIME WICH WOULD MEAN FOR ME THE EXPENSES OF THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS IN FINANCING COST IF I HAVE TO PAY FOR TWO CARS AT THE SAME TIME OR RENTING A CAR FOR UNLIMITED TIME:When i call to Geico’s costumer service number, they send me directly to Jeniffer Smith.--- Jeniffer say:“I’m not the adjuster of this case”“The adjuster is Luis Jones take the cell phone number …”“There is no time limit to pay for the car until the investigation is not complete”--- Luis Jones Says:“I’m the investigator, but i’m not your adjuster, I don’t know nothing about payments, i only have to do the investigation”“The investigation can take weeks or months”“I have 40 investigations to do”“If Geico is going to pay $19000 has the right to do an investigation”“Your adjuster is Jeniffer”“I receive the order to investigate that case from the Jennifer department”--- Jessica Petterson (Jeniffers Supervisor) :Your adjuster is Ryan Das (Ryan was the first adjuster) not Jennifer you need to ask him, take the cell phone number…”--- Ryan Says:“I don’t know Jennifer, they are at higher levels”“I don’t know who order the investigation”“Maybe they are investigating the bodyshop”(My answer: Ryan, the only one that do business with that bodyshop is Geico, not me. Why do i have to pay for that? You have pictures from the scene of the accident.)Send a picture to Luis of the car in the scene of the accident” (My question: Ryan if you have the picture why don’t you sent it one week ago?”)“They (Geico) can stop the payment for unlimited time if is doing an investigation”-----How can Geico consider that a 68 years old woman can get involve in that kind of accident and loses at least 3-4 thousands dollars (to get a similar car) intentionally?? Ill file a complaint and share my experience everywhere the Geico name appears for unlimited time.

Horrible service once u start making a claim u would see the company true intentions after they were really healpful making the claim after they look into the vehicle they would send u to their special investigator unit avoiding to pay for damage to the car which u cant speak to and no in geico can give answer on why they not providing coverage cause they are investigating which they claim can take 3-4 months which means if u crash ur car they wont fixed it or pay u or give a rental which u pay for coverage

After a rate increase at my former insurance company, I called my local GEICO office and spoke with Odalys Estrada. She compared GEICOs rates for the same policy options and saved me quite a bit of money. Odalys was even able to lower my deductible and handle the break up with the other insurance carrier.
