Went to their office, no one there to help (covid-19). We had an incident with one of their insured who received the citation for hitting us, yet they want us to pay for part of the damages. Im an older man, been around and dealing with insurance companies a long time yet Ive never been faced with a situation like this. Gave them stars because at least the Adjuster assigned to us returns calls and emails.
This company has been in my home insurance for years. They also specialize in different types of insurance. Theyre excellent!

I have been with this company for more than 3 years, at the beginning of this month (April 2020), for personal reasons and the situation of covid-19 I am unable to afford the cost of my premium with National General which was $132.74. So, I had to change to another company. They took my payment April 6/2020, two days later, on April 8/2020 I canceled the policy. I talked with an agent and she told me that National General will return, a check with 342 dollars, I’m not waiting for that money I just want my 132.74 dollars back because ( IT’S NOT FAIR I DID NOT USE THE CURRENT MONTH) they sent me a check for 62.40 dollars... After I received the check, I called one more time and they told me that they were going to send me 38 dollars, because the agent mistakenly did a wrong form of cancelation, she forgot to include the information of my new policy. I was baffled when I heard I was not going to get my full amount that is owed to me. I am still missing $32.34. I asked to speak to a manager, they transfer the call to a so called Leslie she is the manager and she said that the amount of $32.32 will not be returned to me because there is a paper processing fee of $25, the other 10 dollars is related to an automatic payment fee. I was baffled again, I had automated payment set up with them and that’s how they withdrew my money in the first place. Which is fine because the payment was due…. But to be charged a fee for something that I already had set up is unimaginable. They said that because I had cancelled the automated payment 2 days later, they had to charge me the non-automated payment fee. In other words, they don’t lose they just win. This proved to me that they just don’t take care about the client, they don’t protect them, I had never made claim for this company, I’m an exceptional driver…( nothing of that nature matters to them IT DOSEN’T COUNT) . I called National General again, another agent told me a different story that the 30 dollars has not been divided in two separate charges, they are due solely because I cancel automated payments and the reality is that they already had withdrawn my money automatically, they only care about taking your money and no helping the customer. I will not recommend this company to anyone, also read the contract carefully. THE WORST COMPANY EVER!!!!!
Worst experience Ive ever had with an insurance company. Their client hit me 3 weeks ago and when I call and can actually get the adjuster on the phone she keeps saying the check is in the mail, well I still havent received the check. The adjuster is rude and so is her supervisor.
A car insured by them pulled out in front of me and fled the scene abandoning their car and everything and I waited for the cops to get there and the report was made that they decided they were in the wrong by looking at the accident and because they fled the scene. This insurance company is doing everything they can not to pay for my car that is totaled and is even making an investigation to stall out the process for as long as possible while Im sitting here without a car or rental car. HOW IS THIS EVEN LEGAL?
This was the longest, most tedious process to get paid out for an accident that wasnt even my fault. I had to be 3 months without a car because they would not send the check. To make matters worse, they gave a check to repair my car and never said it was a total loss. Well, to my surprise, when I went to change my car for a new one at the dealer, they ran the CarFax report and it said it was a total loss. It turns out someone at the insurance declared it a total loss and still to this day nobody has helped me change the Carfax report and my car is now valued at $2000 when it should be valued at $16000. This is without a doubt the worst experience I have ever had. Please, if you are reading this, do yourself a favor and stay away from this unprofessional company.
I’ve experienced the most worst customer service at Imperial. They have no problem with taking funds from my account for the insurance payment. My car has been sitting for three months not fixed and they have been giving me the run around. Sometimes they don’t even answer the phone 📲 it’s just horrible. Please avoid this company they do not care about you or your property they suppose to be covering. Pure buffoonery goes on here‼️‼️‼️ They don’t even deserve a star not even 3/4 of a star they’ve made my experience just disgusting.
The worst experience ever, I was hit by their client that ran a stop sign and it has been two weeks and no answer or information about getting my car fixed. I am a small business owner and I need a vehicle for my business. They sent me a letter saying to lessen my expenses for rental car and towing. So I am suppose to at home and not continue my business until they decide to handle my claim. I am beyond mental and physically drained by this whole situation.
Terrible insurance company. A person insured by this company hit my car, and I had to go to my insurance to repair the vehicle because they do not respond because of an ongoing investigation. They wont even give me a time frame for repairs, and even have the audacity to say that they may not cover repairs even though their client is at fault. I will definitely be filling a claim with the Department of Insurance of Florida.
Most unfortunately, my husband was hit by a person insured by this company. The adjuster, Rebecca Marrero, has not returned any of our collective calls from several different numbers for the past few days. She has an interesting voice mail message that says to please not call her repeatedly and in the message she also informs you of when her lunch hours are. I called their main offices to see if anybody could help, but I was placed on hold for 27 minutes, after which I just hung up. I have never experienced such lack of professionalism. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau and informing them of an establishment that should not be treating people like this.
Worst insurance company I’ve ever talked to super rude not at all helpful. Tried starting a claim with my agent Sujeylee was extremely rude and seemed like she’d rather argue with me then help. I was trying to ask questions to see what would happened to my car and she kept getting super defensive and raising her voice at a me. This is the worst insurance company that Ive ever had. They took money out of my account because I was in a car accident. They charged me a surcharge for being in a car accident that I was not at fault. Then, they increased my premium to nearly $300 because they say that I did not provide proof that my daughter is an unlicensed driver. How can anyone charge a premium on an unlicensed driver. They had no proof that my daughter is licenced but still charged me a premium rate for her. By the way, my daughter doesnt even have a learners permit to drive. Had I not done my due diligence they would not have given me a refund for the over payment on my premium. I sent in all the documents that I had to send in but one. The one that they never sent to me. Now, I have to get the one document signed and notarized by my agent but my agency is in Miami, four hours away from my home. Its been a nightmare ever since I got rear ended and filed a claim.
Longest process to close a claim they are quick to take your money but what a nightmare to have a claim paid out. WILL NEVER RECOMMEND

Poor insurance company. I had an accident with my car in Marco / 2017. We are in July practically and so far nothing to solve. I get in touch, I make complaints but it seems that we are nothing. The person who entered my case never meets, nor does his supervisor encounter me, so they give me a very bad service. Unfortunately I have to wait 1 year to renew with another insurance company because with Imperial I do not renew anymore and I will never recommend anyone to make insurance with this company. Detail, every beginning of the month they deduct the amount that I have to pay but to watch us is a torment.Very poor insurance. My car did service in a body shop that they did not work but that is to my credit. My car has more than 30 days depending on them to pay for the service and I had to rent two cars to have one to walk and none of them (insurance to solve). My car is still in the body shop depending on them paying full service and they still have the audacity to tell me that it has nothing to do with extra vehicle and they do not care about customer satisfaction soon, I am here to show my extreme dissatisfaction and by me they go into bankruptcy since they do not care about clients. For me the grade is zero (0).
Brand new car got totaled by someone with this insurance ended up having to go through my insurance because of his (policy) in the end 10 months for the car to get paid all those payments just to take care of my credit and to top it off these people are supposed to pay loss of use because I was left with nothing . This is the worst insurance company I have dealt with, very unprofessional, they take the longest time to review a case, they should learn from other competitors, I dont understand how they still in business. I cant believe how bad is this insurer. I have been waiting for a month. I made so many calls, I sent five emails: no answers. When I decided to go there, they even didnt know a word about my emails. Then, even when police report confirmed that their insured was responsible of a hit and run, they said they didnt have evidence enough to cover damages.I strongly recommend do not use this insurer.
Adriana Flores is literally the most incompetent adjuster they have in that office. Her reluctance to help out her OWN insured is unbelievable. Imperial Fire & Casualty Insurance companyLast year I had my auto insurance with: Imperial Fire & Casualty Insurance Company that was obtained through the office of Univista Insurance, there I got the insurance for my car which paid correctly and in time a total of $ 2,113.65A month ago giving back I gave a little blow to my car in the back, chevrolet malibu 2018, although I was looking through the camera I did not see the object with the shock., There was no ticket, or police. just hit my car.Call the insurance, talk to them, they told me to send pictures and they gave me an estimate of $ 777, after several days insisting they told me they would not pay me the car fix because I did uber and lyft and that is forbidden by them. I explained that the blow was not doing uber or lift, it was a Sunday that I was walking with my family.I called Univista to ask for an explanation and they told me that they did not know what happened, later they called me and they told me that at the time of making the insurance, 16 questions had been asked and one of them was talking about that issue and I had I said that I did neither lyft or uber.I explained to them that they had not asked me those 16 questions, they told me that they had my electronic signature and I told them that I never signed anything of that and that the electronic signature can be done by anyone.I renewed Univista this year car insurance with another company and did not ask me those 16 questions either.The conclusion is that they will not cover the repair of my car just because I sometimes work with uber or lyft even if the accident was not related to this job.

I got into a car accident in which the one at fault is an insurer of this company so I had to work with them to cover the damage happened to my car. My claim adjuster, Omayra Montero is a rude, unprofessional lady who lied and gave unreasonable excuses to delay my claim as much as she can. Even I told her that I would like to talk to her boss, she still gave me the I dont care attitude. She hung up on me several times and blocked my calls for a while . I guess that is how that department is operating and she knew she would not be in trouble because of her rudeness, lies, and unprofessionalism thats why. I cannot believe that these insurance companies are not regulated at all and get to do whatever they want.The guy at fault was Uber-ing when the accident happened, so the rude lady, Omayra Montero told me that she would need to contact Uber to confirm if its Ubers insurance or Imperial would be responsible for the damage expenses. WHO WOULD BELIEVE THIS STUPID EXCUSE????????????? and the final approval date of the claim is UNKNOWN, that means it could be a year or 10 years that my car will be fixed!!!!!!!

My car still hasnt been fixed and i may have to go through Geico my insurance . And that adjuster Nilda Cerra is so rude and unprofessional no phone manners. I dont recommend this company to anyone. This Insurance company is the worst company ive ever seen before. I had involved in a car accident where i was not guilty in Feb 09/2107, This insurance was the other driver company. It still being a nightmare to get pay. After a month to get reapair my car, the body shop took 1 week and obviously i had a rental car during that week, that happened in april 13 today is May 17 and still calling Marcel Fernandez who was the claim representative, and who also never answer the phone or returned any voicemails....this company is more than SUCK!
