Dr. Exposito has golden hands. His work on me was without pain and made me as comfortable as possible inserting two implants. His assistants were very professional and caring. All in all I highly recommend this dental group.

I took my mom to the Miami Dental in Miami Beach. The staff made us feel like family and she was very satisfied with how her procedure went. The following day the office called her to see how she was doing, which speaks volumes to how great they are. The manager, Isachy, does an exceptional job and I highly recommend this office.

I had my first dental appointment last week and the staff was wonderful! I didn’t have to wait much time to be called and Dr. Peña and her staff were beyond amazing. Very caring and I felt very safe under her care. I will definitely be coming back.

Amazing staff and doctors. I got a root canal done in a posterior molar, 45 minutes, absolutely no pain (I almost fall asleep! That is how delicate and great the work was). Dentists take the time to explain the treatment clearly and they took my insurance. Clean and efficient. Very happy with my new dentist office!

Had my wisdom tooth pulled. terrible office admin staff.. they didnt tell me until the day of my appt that my insurance wasnt fully verified (my appt was set nearly 2 months in advance). So they made me put a deposit ($800). I am still waiting on the processing of my claim. and reimbursement. they didnt process my claim until I followed up (another month went by) and finally after back and forth the claim was approved and processed. now they have the funds and are still holding my $800 hostage until they see a posting of it on their website.. the office was paid via eft over 2 weeks ago. i dont understand what that means. very frustrated in a time of a pandemic. I need my $. I call everyday.. I recccommend. going elsewhere for better admin services... this office is not up to par.

Without getting into full details of my experience. I want to warn individuals who come in for appointments & have medical insurance. Please check your co-pay pricing with your insurance company. Carlos the receptionist there doesnt give the correct co-pay amounts and you will end up paying more out-of-pocket dollars $$.

Would give 0 stars if i could. went it may because i had terrible pain, was told i needed to remove my wisdom teeth. the first available appointment they had was june 16th, they gave me this appointment and told me i would get consultation and surgery the same day because “it’s quicker and efficient”. i asked if they were sure because i could come get the consultation ahead of time and i was told no and to get both of the same day. i got there on time on june 16th and as i was waiting there was so many people who got seen (including other wisdom teeth surgeries) while i was still in the waiting room. 3 HOURS LATER i got sitted in a room just to be told i would have to reschedule for another two weeks because the doctor overbooked himself and they “don’t do consultation and surgery in the same day”, even though that it what i was told and the Doctor was aware i was told of this. 5 minutes later a patient who is getting wisdom tooth surgery arrives, gets a room immediately, and got prepped for the surgery... after i’ve been there waiting for 3 hours. not to mention the doctor who came in to tell me i had to reschedule, Dr. Griedner, didn’t even greet me or look at me when he came in the room, he was extremely rude and i was very pleasant and understanding. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE.

I went to this location because I was experiencing pain. After they did X-rays, they tried real hard to push Invisalign on me. I came there for pain not cosmetic work. When I vocalized that wasnt what I needed, they were dismissive towards me and tried to charge 600 Dollars just for a cleaning with my insurance. All they did was give me quotes for services that I was not looking for.

I was super disappointed, I felt my money was stolen.When I asked for an appointment they told me that they charged me $ 80 (including X-ray) which resulted in $ 89, where I had asked will include theCleaning and they said yes. I did not find an exaggerated price since in several places they charge you between $ 60 to $ 90I just wanted a simple cleaning, they gave me an explanation that I needed a deep one (where I think I decide) ...It was not like that, they decided for me, they told me that they would not do it for me to regulate.I left paying $ 89 (very expensive) and without a cleaning, after waiting a month to be able to have an appointment.I still cant believe it, I honestly feel ripped off.

I’m currently sitting at the dentist chair, waiting for more than an hour for anyone to come and take care of me.The staff is nice, but they have consistent scheduling problems. I’ve been here 3 times and won’t come back. Every time they’ve made me wait an hour or more despite having confirmed appointments.The comments from other reviewers about bad experiences with the first appointment are also true. I was scheduled for a cleaning, but then the dentist came to see me and then informed me that my appointment was for “evaluation” and I needed to schedule a separate cleaning. They did the cleaning the same day, but I wasted 3 hours in there.

New patient. Never again. I was refused to a routine dental cleaning covered by my HMO because I need a deep cleaning $800 after my co-pay. X-rays shows no periodontitis disease nor gum infection nor tart built up. Are we facing shark sales in the dentistry industry like car sales ???? I wonder.

Miami Beach Dental Center is by far the best dental office I’ve been to. My teeth have always been a headache for me and going from place to place to see if I could find a great team of specialists was getting exhausting. They were welcoming and helpful from the moment I walked into the office. After examining carefully the work I needed, they quoted me and started from there. There are even payment plans customers can look into if the price is an issue. Perhaps it was cleanness or personalities of each people I dealt with the past months I’ve been coming here, but they are the an apotheosis of the perfect dental team. Oh and one more thing, they are prompt with appointment times, there were rarely the times I saw anyone wait more than 5 mins once walking in, including myself.

Truly the best dentist I have eve had! Great professionalism, wonderful staff. I wish all Doctors offices were this welcoming and caring. Never again. Taking my family out of this office. I was told by the doctor that if the treatment on my tooth is ineffective then the credit would be applied towards the crown because the filling of the tooth with a crack failed, it should have been a root canal right from the start. That was a lie. I was told I need a consultation with endodontist prior to the treatment and today I was borderline bullied into getting an expensive procedure done immediately after the consultation because we could have scheduled many people today who actually would do the procedure. Not to mention additional bills sent to my home after I signed and paid an invoice for a treatment for myself and my child at the office already. I would not recommend them at all. Unprofessional manager. Greedy and rude. Awful treatment at the office.

Dr Pena is my dentist here and she has been excellent. She is quick but thorough, she walks you through everything that she is doing, and all the staff are extremely gentle with procedures. I’m beyond impressed specifically with dr Pena. She seems like a total sweet heart

I had an emergency this past week and a friend recommended me to go to Miami Beach dental center. I have to say that I am afraid of the dentist.When I got to the office the receptionist was very kind and explained me very clear what documents I needed to fill out.I was seen by Dr. Maria Luisa Pena, I have to say that she was amazing!!!!Best dentist ever. She was gentle and she explained everything extremely clear. Lovely and professional dental assistant answered all of my questions and explained things to me as she took xrays. The dentist was very personable but I wish he had spent more time on my dental exam. I will be coming back to complete the recommended procedures.

DO NOT GO HERE!My appointment was scheduled for 10:00 am. I arrived about 10 minutes early to fill out the new patient paperwork. For some reason, about 5 people that entered the waiting room well after I did all got seen before me. At about 10:20 am, I started to get very upset and complained to the receptionist, and finally I was ushered into the back where I was given a panoramic x-ray of my head and several more x-rays of my teeth. I ended up having to pay an extra $25 for that panoramic x-ray, and was not informed of this before it was performed. This is a service I would have refused had I known it was outside of my dental coverage. After the x-rays, I was seen by the dentist who seemed to be nice and professional. He made his recommendations, and I assumed I would then have my cleaning, but was quickly ushered out of my chair by a billing clerk and told that I would have to make a separate appointment for my cleaning and come back another day. I have never, ever had to make separate appointments for a regular check-up and cleaning before in my life! I demanded that I have a cleaning that same day, because I did not have the time or inclination to return to this office. They were able to accommodate me, but I was there for over 2 hours. I will never go back again.

My wife and I have been going to Dr. Pena for four years. For us, she is our “dream” dentist. Most importantly of course, she is the extremely skilled and very, very gentle. I’ve rarely felt a moment of discomfort during the several procedures she has performed. And apart from professional excellence, she has a very welcoming and friendly manner. We always feel like we are visiting a friend .The office staff display the same attitude..highly professional but also very friendly and welcoming.

I went for a prophylactic cleaning and irrigation was done without asking. Even though the hygienist told me my gums were good and I barely bleed. After irrigation was done the hygienist told me I had to pay irrigation but it would not be a lot. I was then charged $60. This place is a rip off as they do things to make sure you have to pay even when you have a prophylactic cleaning which is free through the insurance. They are always trying to add services or products to get your money.I ended up calling my insurance to find out it was a covered benefit and shouldnt have been charge. However the office manager ended up reaching out to me and apologizing for what happened. He said he would issue a refund and was very apologetic about the issue. I would like to thank Chris to helping me out with this matter

Ive been seeing Dr Pena and Jenny for about three years now. I love the entire staff, especially how courteous and professional yet warm they are. My entire family now sees them, from parents to brother to uncle and aunt. Highly recommend them.

Booked a normal appointment here. They ran my insurance and confirmed coverage. All good. At appointment, I Spent almost 30 minutes on xrays which is excessive, but ok. Waited a while for dentist and saw him for about 2 minutes. Then his assistant tells me I need to wait for someone named Carlo to run my insurance and book a cleaning. This is confusing to me because I am already there for a cleaning. I wait a few minutes and go try to find someone to help as I don’t understand what’s going on. They point me towards Carlo, who tells me the same thing - he needs to run my insurance and book a cleaning. I try to explain that my insurance was already run and I am a current patient in the middle of a cleaning and just need the hygienist to see me. At this time he becomes incredibly rude and just tells me to sit down in the waiting room and he’ll talk to me when he has time. I’m truly confused at this point. I finally find someone who explains this office books dentists and hygienists separately so a dentist appointment does not come with a cleaning. I’ve never heard of such an approach before, and it seems really inefficient for patients. They eventually found someone to clean my teeth after an additional wait and acted as if they had made a huge accommodation for me by just satisfying a base line standard of an acceptable dentist appointment - actually getting your teeth cleaned. I won’t be back.

Do not go to this dentist!!! I had the EXACT SAME issue as another reviewer here. I went for a regular check up and cleaning, they took X-rays of my teeth. While waiting for results (which took over 30 mins and no cavities were found) they proposed a deep cleaning (honestly it didnt seem ANY DIFFERENT than a normal cleaning) with an outrageous bill!!!After my cleaning, one of my PERMANENT braces bracket became loose (I am assuming this is because of their negligence while CLEANING my teeth on the first appointment), and made the MISTAKE to come BACK to this dentist to fix it. Cost me OUT OF POCKET to fix this. This place DOES try to take as much money as they can from your pocket — it feels very much like a SCAM.When I left I called to speak to the office manager to complain about the entire experience and they told me I was disrespectful for questioning the dentists recommendation and EVERYONE who works there is absolutely UNPROFESSIONAL!On top of all of this: Two of the male employees (who work the desk) were hitting on me and made me feel SO VERY UNCOMFORTABLE!!! My husband told me to never return... AND I WILL NOT!

Absolutely fabulous service and perfect dentistry! I had an emergency where I chipped my tooth the night before my best friend’s wedding. I was the matron of honor and so embarrassed of this front chipped tooth. The staff was incredibly helpful and got me in on their first appt at 9am, and had me fixed by 11:30am! The tooth looks perfect, and you would never know it had happened! The Dr was an artist with the bonding of my tooth, and they were very careful in selecting the perfect color to match my teeth. I am forever grateful for helping me with what could have been a terrible issue. Thank you!

I guess I should have checked the yelp reviews prior to going there. My bad. This clinic proposed to have a dental cleaning after which they will deposit 4 antibiotics in my mouth($160). WHAT? this is actually hilarious and makes no sense. I I dont have a bacterial infection, nor I would wanna get one after their cleaning, if thats what they offer. For those reasons, Im out. Scammers.Ps. The reviews that seen on google are bought. You can see that all of them are coming from pages with 1 max 2 reviews, not valid, don’t fall for it, check out yelp!

I have been a patient of Miami Beach Dental Center for the last 3 years and I am very satisfied with my Dentist Dr Maria Luisa Peña and all her staff.She did some crowns for me on my front teeth and I always get a lot of compliments.I will recommend Dr. Peña to all my friends and family.

Dental work was good but very pushy office manager who steps in after the dentist and recommends extra procedures and services. She is non medical but presents the information as if its medically indicated. I got a second opinion and found out that most of it was more expensive upgrades to regular services. When I asked the actual dentist he confirmed that those services are not medically indicated, just extras, as I suspected. I had already paid at that point and it took them over 6 months to issue my refund of over $700.For business practices alone... I would not go back.

I will stop short of saying I love my trips to the dentist, but honestly, MBDC makes it as pleasant and delightful as it could possibly be. I see Jenny for my cleanings, and i know I am in excellent hands. She is so good at what she does that I have nearly fallen asleep during her cleanings, twice! For anyone in the area with periodontal issues, there is no reason to go anywhere but MBDC.

CONSUMERS BEWARE: This place is a complete RIP OFF. My poor father got ripped off by Dr. Esposito and his staff, making him pay $1800 for a mollar that fell off a year later. My dad went to another dentist and that dentist replaced it for $25. You go for a regular cleaning and they do some fluoride irrigation on you without warning you that it will cost you $50 per side out of pocket, thats $200 total for 4 sides of teeth. I REPEAT, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE, THEY ARE NOTHING BUT A FACTORY TRYING TO MAKE A BUCK OUT OF YOU.

If you hate dentists this is the practice to try! NO pain and excellent results!The entire staff is super professional, courteous, and friendly and when you make an appointment, your time is valued as Ive always been taken in for my service either on time (what a concept for a doctors office!) or close to my scheduled appointment time. A big shout-out to my faves - Dr. Oliver, Dr. Peña, Jenny, Sasha, Mayte, Gabriella, & Carlos - who are ALWAYS so pleasant & accommodating. I have read reviews that complain about the prices. Lets be real, folks.All dental plans are terrible and your out-of-pocket costs are less than desirable. But if you REALLY care about your oral hygiene and want your mouth to be healthy, any dental practice will be costly.The difference is that at this practice, you will receive excellent care, the most professional, caring, & courteous doctors & employees, and you will maintain just as excellent oral hygiene, hands down! BEST dental practice on the Beach certainly, but probably anywhere in Miami-Dade!!!! Give them a try!

Horrible customer service .After driving 2 hours in traffic .Got there on time for my apointement .Lady in front desk decided to let someone else in before meI’ve asked her that my apointement was at 2 30 pm she mention to me there way behind schedule, and asked me to wait ( almost one hour ) or to reschedule me.What a joke .

Wonderful office, Dr. Pena and my higienest Jenny are the best. Very happy with this office.
