I didnt actually get any service this time. I waited in line for 50 minutes just to have them tell me they didnt have any 10w-30 in stock. The lines at 2 of the nearest locations to me are out to the street for 2 days straight. Doesnt exactly seem like a quick or convenient process to me. Maybe change the signs to say, we will get to you when we see fit & then sell you the wrong oil at a huge mark up.

Great guys! I was greeted quickly with a beverage. Everyone was nice and followed protocol. Will definitely come back again because I feel confident in their work and they have excellent customer service.

Guys were very fast and friendly. They showed me my air filter, showed me my oil dipstick when they were finished, asked about my wipers which seemed like they needed to be replaced so I replaced them. They aired up my tires. Just super fast and friendly service!

It’s a little annoying watching cars that pulled up after you get fully serviced oil change, air filter replacement, and tire filled etc.Whilst you sit in your car for 30 min waiting for the same thing guess they don’t keep track of who pulled in first🤷‍♂️

Great Customer Service, best team on the East Bank Period. They bring you an ice cold water when you arrive, they are fast so the wait time is not bad, but you just know that once you are being worked on they are taking great care of your vehicle. I received awesome service from the guys at Take 5 today. I was actually recommended I go to this one instead of the other one on Clearview, which is closer to my house.When I pulled up, it wasn’t busy at all. I was warmly greeted and even offered a bottle of water. I never got the name of the guy who assisted me throughout the entire process, but he was so nice and informative. I honestly didn’t know Take 5 did more than oil changes, but he was quick to fill me in on all the other services I could get there. I know I won’t be going any other place to get my oil changes now. The service was great, not to mention fast! The whole experience was about 15 minutes and everyone wore a mask. Thank y’all for the great service!

Great service! While they change the oil of my car I was observing their work. I was captivated, they were working synchronized and very organized. They looked happy. I can imagine music while remembering. No, I was not listening to music at the time. Yes, I was mesmerized. Told the employee who was my POC that they looked like a very good oiled machine, like soldiers. I mentioned I bet you guys have a good manager, like a commanding officer. I was very pleased by the service and happy that I could witness such a group of great people at work making their clients smile. Yup, Ill be back.

My 18 year old daughter went to the one at 3100 W Esplanade and was charged twice. I called to let them know and they said I need to go back in with the receipt and my bank statement to prove they charged me twice. Justin, said it happens often with the double charges and could not tell me how long it will take for a refund. He explained once I bring him the information, they have to submit to Corporate and after Corporate investigates it and if they find I have been charged twice, they will refund a charge. I told him I would just call Corporate to cut out the middle person and he hung up on me. So, I called Corporate and the extension to leave a voicemail for any issues with service is full. I put in a dispute with our bank to let them handle it. Im sure it will get taken care faster!Dont go to this location!!!

Axl / Francisco and the guys were great! Very friendly and fast! Made offers but not pushy. Only thing was pricing. I paid $20 over what I normally pay- I always get high grade oil. As a customer I don’t know why I’m paying a higher price. The only thing I can think of is the cost it takes 2+ people working on my vehicle at the same time in order to processMore quickly? Customer education might help over and beyond that I’m paying a higher price for the brand name oil. Pricing and customer education is more a comment for corporate because my crew was awesome.

Oil Service was great but I didn’t ask for my tires to be aired up. One of the Take5 guys insisted on airing up my tires and he caused my tires to whop out because it was overloaded with air. I want to be refunded for what I paid for new tires.

Went to get an oil change on 12/23/18. Service was great, and they worked very efficiently. I later drove my car back home to Slidell, when I heard this scraping noise like I was dragging something under my hood. It turns out one of my shield plates used to protect the oil filter is on its way off. Pretty sure the gentlemen who worked on my car earlier that day didnt tighten the bolts that hold up the shield. I had plans to head up to Oklahoma before dawn the next morning for christmas, but im having to delay my plans to get this fixed. Im hoping Take 5 in Slidell will fix this for me Christmas Eve morning. If Take 5 does anything to make up for this issue, I will gladly remove my review or bump up the rating.

Tonight at 6:27 PM with just 2 workers (Marcus and a lady) and me being the 1 only customer on site being almost the end of their business day. I received the quickest and most rushed oil change I’ve ever experienced, that’s all they did. I was only spoken to twice when Marcus asked me what my car mileage was and then told me my total amount of $ money that was due. I drove off realizing they did not check my tire pressure as it was still low, did not refill my windshield washer fluid and didn’t even wipe off my front windshield at exiting. I had to do all these things MYSELF at the gas station down the street *adding extra expenses and time out of my evening*. I’m CONCERNED they didn’t perform anything else on the “SERVICE CHECK LIST” provided on the receipt besides just replacing the oil in my vehicle. I’ve never had bad or incomplete services paid for at this location until tonight as I’ve been a loyal customer here for several years. This lack of trust and confidence in a business and their employees you rely on to make sure you’re vehicle is 100% serviced and guaranteed is a major let down and disappointment 👎🏼 . Will most likely never go to this Take 5 ever again. 🤯

I got overcharged and couldn’t use a coupon I brought. My receipt could barely be seen due to almost no toner in their printer. When I asked for a reprint he said he couldn’t do it!! I could have gotten better and cheaper service at the dealership I usually go to.

The guys were nice but they didn’t have the oil required for my 2019 Toyota RAV it requires zero 16 unfortunately they didn’t have it

I came here to get my oil changed and windshield wipers replaced and the service was super friendly and fast! Cedric was a very informative mechanic as he consulted me on what other services he recommended for my car. My only complaint is that when I asked how much it was to replace my windshield wipers he told me the price was $23, but did not mention that was the charge for just one. So I got charged double ($46) for two without my knowledge until after payment had already been received.

Soul crushing experience with the Take 5 team. Stopped by after work for an oil change on the Friday before New Year’s. After arriving at my hotel a few blocks away I noticed smoke coming from the engine bay and a burning oil smell. I immediately returned to Take 5 and they indicated they must have spilled some oil. I waited half an hour while they cleaned it up. Proceeded to dinner and noticed the smoke and smell continued.Returned to Take 5 the next morning and they spent another hour cleaning up oil off the engine and exhaust after which they indicated the problem was an oil leak unrelated to the oil change and told me I should take the car to a mechanic. The car is a 10-year old import with approximately 100,000 miles which has been routinely maintained and had not previously had any engine issues.The car continued to smoke so I was forced to get a rental as I had to travel out of town. I took the car to a mechanic after New Year’s and they spent an additional hour cleaning oil from the engine bay. The engine no longer smokes and they could not find any leak. I drove the car for a week and verified the issue was resolved.I took the invoices for the mechanic and car rental back to Take 5 and they observed the car was no longer smoking and indicated the area manager would respond to the invoices. They did not respond after a full week so I returned and left an additional copy of the invoices with another assistant manager who indicted the area manager would respond in a couple days. After another week and no response I made daily phone calls to them requesting response and was told each time he would respond that day. On the 3rd day they put me on hold and in the background one guy said “what do I tell this guy, they won’t call him”. The other person got on the line and said my claim was denied and I’d have to call the main office to discuss. The number he gave me goes to voice mail with a full in box.I’m out a fair amount of money and have endured substantial aggravation. The car continues to run fine but I have been offered zero compensation. My previous experiences there were good but don’t expect any recourse if there are issues.

I’ve been a customer of Take 5 for a number of years and have been impressed at every visit. I always find the quality of service exceptional. There are always no less than 3 people, often including the manager, performing checks on fluid levels, tire pressure, etc. basically making sure you receive great service. I have a slow oil leak and they will even give a “top off” if I just stop by. Overall, I’m a very satisfied customer.

I went to get an oil change from the location on West Esplanade in Metairie, La. I paid for a high mileage oil change with 8 quarts of oil. I don’t know how many miles I drove .. maybe 20, Before my car shut down. I had to have it towed to my house then later towed to a mechanic. The mechanic told me there was less that a quart of oil in my car. I called the 5 minute location and they told me they would send someone out to look at my car. I am so mad, so disappointed, so beyond understanding how you do an oil change and forget to put oil back in the car?!?!?!?? I have not heard back from them (it’s been about 24 hours) but I will update my review when I hear back from them.

Tried this take 5 as opposed to the one across town. Customer service is 100% top notch. Corey definitely explained everything about my vehicle and the oil change in a manner where I could understand, and treated me with respect, as did the entire crew working on my vehicle. This was quite the experience as I was shown that my business was appreciated. This will be my go-to for oil changes and other minor maint. needs. Corey recommended what I knew was needed and confirmed what I knew was good. Overall, the customer service was beyond awesome.

This is my go to place. The customer service reminds me of the service from a great restaurant. Their knowledge about vehicles is similar to a full time mechanic service . Greeted w a cold bottle water on a hot day. And even tho I had several questions they made sure they explained everything in an easy to understand language . I was completely out of oil when I pulled up and thought I had ruined my truck . But the guys put the extra time to help me out . I strongly recommend it

The mechanics here are incredibly friendly and helpful. They assisted me when I was having oil troubles while I was towing a U-Haul trailer full of furniture. I would highly recommend this location for a quick oil change.

Not only did they exceed my expectation on a quick and clean service they were able to answer all my questions...I understand they are trying to move cars in and out but the manager (I believe his name was Dedtin) took his time and explained why I should change my air filter and go with the oil he suggested. He seemed genuine in trying to get my old car up to par rather than making the extra buck...which in the long run came out in his favor. Great guy!

Waited more than 45 minutes for my car to be serviced. I was told initially 30 minutes. Staff offered me a bottle of water but it was hot. It was replaced only after I complained about it.

Went in for an oil change, I was going to do it myself but it turned out raining all day so I rushed over an hour before they closed and they had me in and out in 10 minutes. very convenient, at the price I wouldve paid anyways for oil and a filter at Auto zone.

It is a 50 minute oil change not a five minute and most of the workers they are mu didn’t know what they are doing
