I almost let the strip mall location sway my opinion. Don’t judge a book by its cover. This place is outstanding. Any service you get here will be amazing and will have you wanting to return. Parking is a bit annoying but it is in a shopping center. Once you walk through the doors you’ll feel like you’re on a different planet. The customer service goes above and beyond for the client.

I decided to take an impromptu trip to New Orleans and treat myself with a spa day. I landed on the package which allows you to have a massage, facial and pedicure. I want to start by saying I went to the Metiere location which is located in a strip mall. However, don’t let that put you off. Inside is absolutely stunning and the service was impeccable. I got in a few minutes early per the instructions and they showed me to a lovely women’s changing room and locker room. I had an assigned locker with my name on it and they had already selected my size robe and slippers which was amazing. Everything was so plush and delightful. In the waiting room they already had lounges assigned to me as well as Champagne, mimosas or water all throughout my stay. The facial was absolutely phenomenal. There was a slight gap in between my facial and my pedicure and massage so I just relaxed in the lounge area and the time flew by. The pedicure was good but probably my least favorite of the three services. My only recommendation would be that the pedicure ran a bit long and as a result my massage was rushed. My masseuse however was absolutely amazing, I just wish I had been able to get the entire time and full experience with her magical hands. All in all this is an exceptional spot and I would highly recommend

My friend and I had our first experience here and were hooked! The attention to detail and economy atmosphere is what impressed me the most. Personable, immersive, and calming all created an experience well never forget, ever! We had the hot stone massage and we cant wait to try as many as we can.

Still 5 stars, but I wanted to share with anyone looking for a place during this crazy COVID time that will put safety and cleanliness first without sacrificing quality and comfort! This is your place. As much as I talk this place up, Im sure my friends and family think I get paid. To be clear, I dont. This place doesnt skimp. You may pay $10 more than another nail shop, but it wont be loud and noisy and smell like fumes. Youll relax. Youll be pampered. Youll come back for more! They are taking all the precautions required by the state and going beyond that. I was greeted at the door, did a quick temperature check, had my mask on, and was escorted to the nail room. Had my usual favorite tea in a cute little cup (they also have wine, champagne, mimosas). Sat back and relaxed with Amy while we chatted and life felt normal for a couple hours. Life is weird right now. Going places is weird. Go to the Woodhouse and escape the chaos for a bit and treat yourself.

This was my second time visiting the spa and just like the first time it was nothing short of excellent. The entire staff made me feel right at home and beyond comfortable. My services this time consisted of a swedish massage at a great price that was easily comparable if not better than downtown spas where I would have to pay double. My masseuse, Tia, was incredibly attentive and I found took great care to give each muscle group specific care rather than a blanketed pressure. I left truly relaxed feeling way better than I have after other massages. As stated before this was my second time, with my first being nothing short of this experience, and it will not be the last. I already have another appointment booked!

I’m late on the review, but this place is AWESOME. Polite, kind, professionals all throughout. The spa is clean, relaxing, and has the perfect lighting and sound volume. My massage was great, and the masseuse was amazing. I feel bad because I forgot her name...Julia? Juliet? I’ll need to give her an extra tip next time I come in, but I will definitely be requesting her at my next visit. My wife also went here for a prenatal massage and said she absolutely loved it. Highly recommend this place!

This place is AMAZING! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by smiling faces and a friendly staff. They were informative and pleasant. I believe my masseur name was Ahmad(dont quite remember) but he was GREEEAAAATT! I left feeling warm, relaxed and stress free. I will be back!!!

Wow. Just wow. They hire the right people. They pay attention to the little things. 10/10 atmosphere. Robe, slippers and beverage are offered. Music at the perfect level, not overwhelmed with fragrance, nobody was pushy at all. SO CLEAN omg. Meredith was so sweet and explained everything very well. Amy is GOOD, y’all. I love that she didn’t just show me nail polish colors and walk away. She’s a skilled professional and it shows. I honestly felt like I was catching up with a friend the whole time. Can’t wait to go back and try more services. Honestly. If you’re looking for the upscale spa vibe but don’t want to go all the way into the city, you can stop right there at Woodhouse and forget you’re in Metairie for an hour.

Beautiful experience. The entire place was immaculately cleaned. I loved it. I felt very safe going there. I had Erica and she was great. No complaints whatsoever. We had an amazing anniversary massage. Overall experience was excellent. The drinks were great to. Every single person we came in context with was sweet and inviting. We will be back.

Will be back and refer others to your facility.I wrote down on the information sheet and also told the therapist I wanted deep tissue as well as area of importance but was given a light massage and did not address the area. She ignored the perineal area totally which was stated on the form.. why fill this out if it is ignored?. Nice place but address the needs as indicated.. reflexology was not as described or expected on the website or booklet.. very disappointed for the price paid for this service.

As someone whos been going to spas all my life, this one really needs to be on your radar. Amazing facilities, service, and services. I went for my birthday and it was what my soul needed.

If I had to sum it up in one word; Id say HEAVENLY My first time there was exceptional! everyone was so kind, professional & caring! from the time I walked through the front door to sign in until I left...the place is Absolutely Superb, from the smells the minute you walk in, to the music the decor & the lighting! the Ambience! Simply Heavenly! Not to mention the front desk that was very informative & helped me pick the right product for my dry exfoliation.

I had an ah-mazing massage with Rasheeda - she was magic! All my stress melted away in her caring hands. Also the location in Metairie looks brand new and was very clean and well appointed, following all Covid protocols but also felt relaxing. Ill be back!

OH. EM. GEE. I’m in love! First of all, I love that the Woodhouse Metairie gives you a locker and your own robe and slippers - so few places in the Nola area do this anymore! The relaxation room is sooo wonderful and serene. I had a 50 minute massage with Trey and the second she touched my scalp, I knew it was going to be the BEST massage I’ve ever had!! If I could go back every week, I would!! Obsessed with Trey, obsessed with the Woodhouse and can’t wait to go back!!!!

The waiting area is beautiful and relaxing. My glass of champagne was just perfect while waiting on my facial after receiving my massage. The massage Therepist was fantastic and listened to what I needed and the facial I received was, by far, one of the best I’ve ever received! Its tucked away between a UPS store and a local grocery store but dont let that fool you. Once I walked in I felt as if I was in any other well decorated, inviting, and clean spa! The staff is very friendly and helpful. My massage therapist, Erica did an amazing job with my head, shoulders, and back massage and an even more amazing job on my reflexology foot massage. I hope to be back soon!

I am so elated that Woodhouse Spa now has a location in Metairie. I have been a few times now and plan to continue any and all of my services here. A lovely place... I was walking by the spa and the beautiful displays caught my attention, so I decided to stop in. Katie helped me pick the most amazing smelling candle. She’s friendly and takes the time to help you. I bought a small VOLUSPA CRANE FLOWER Candle to see if I would like it. The throw and burn of this little candle is incredible. I wanted a candle that was not too strong, sweet or flowery, one that wouldn’t give my husband a headache. This candle is like a beautiful spring morning!!! I will be back to buy more!!! 😊

It was clear that she wanted to accommodate my request.Unfortunately, their location was booked for the days I had in mind. Darn. ☹️That’s my fault for underestimating the demand for self care during these stressful times.No biggie though. Da-da-da-da...In came Gisselle to save the day.
