I am a loyal customer since July 2020 when I was introduced to dip nails and amazed at how beautiful they were and how long they have lasted each time they last me between 3 and 4 weeks and vice versa with my pedicures. The atmosphere is very cleanly and they have you wash your hands immediately after you walk in.. Thanks to the gel nails team,!!!!!

This was my first time here. Jennifer was absolutely amazing. Down to earth, kicked back and chatted with me and my best friend the entire time we were there. I would recommend her to anyone I talk too. Every time I come in town I will be back here without a doubt!!! Definitely ask for Jennifer!

Ok I dont usually do reviews but I felt this was necessary for the first-comers to know since this was my first time and last coming here.At first I walked in and I appreciated the cleanliness. I was the first AND only customer present. I went to get an oumbre full set. My powder nails had to be soaked and after a while someone came and drilled down one hand, but she wasnt the one who did my nails. I found out it was the manager who was to do my set, and when it came time for her to take the powder off my other hand people started to come in. She told me I needed to let them soak more (which I didnt understand considering the other person had just drilled off my powder on one hand very easily). I ended up waiting a good 40 min to an hour. More people were coming in getting pedicures and another worker walked in, but rather than coming to me (I had obviously been there waiting already) she went directly to one of their regulars (who came in after me) pedi. When I finally was serviced by the manager I noticed she started rushing as more people came in, and my nails were not looking like the picture I showed her at all. But I gave her the benefit of the doubt, and the only thing I addressed was the thickness of the nail (which she very passive aggressively dismissed). My nails came out not at all like the picture and because I had somewhere to be (keep in my mind Ive been here for almost 2 HOURS now) I came back later asking for some type of redo, but they were at closing time. I was told to come back tomorrow at the MANAGERS convenience which is absolutely ridiculous to me. If I have a problem with my set, it should be solved at my convenience. I ended up going somewhere else and getting an entirely new set. Im not even bothered about the fact that I just wasted $65 (I highly doubt they do refunds) Im only bothered at the fact that they prioritize regulars over new customers.

This nail salon is definitely worth the drive, even if you arent in the Jefferson Parish area. Ive only been a handful of times - due to the pandemic, and absolutely nothing else - and Ive enjoyed every pedicure Ive gotten there. I am usually lucky enough to end up with Jennifer, one of their very skilled nail techs among many, and I am satisfied with the service each and every time. Shes great at handling ingrown toenails with ease, gives a great foot massage, and does a flawless job with the nail polish. I even convinced my mom to go here, and she has been returning ever since for manicures and pedicures. Also, the waxing services are great - theyve done my eyebrows well every time. Skilled, affordable, and within a fun, clean environment where you can relax and unwind - how can you go wrong? Seriously, try them out yall, and youll never go back to the city pedis again.

So I had a problem with a former employee with my first visit. Jennifer actually called me to notify me that that employee was no longer working there. And the company actually made it right by inviting me back to receive the services I didn’t receive. Jennifer made me feel at home. She is a great employee. The place is lucky to have her. I would recommend this place for the professionalism!

I make an appointment every two weeks with Mimi for nails and Jennifer for toes, they are always on time and professional. I recommend this salon to anyone. Love this place and all the girls!

We were having a girls day out and wanted to have out nails done. There were 6 of us ladies . We just kind of found this place and stopped in. They took care of all of us without a problem. Really though this was a great experience and it will be our regular place from now on. Loved Jennifer!!!

My wife used to own a salon in Scottsdale Arizona, she introduced me to pedicures and I was sold. I guess you could say we are a little snobby is when it comes to getting a manicure or pedicure. We are on our vacation and didn’t know where to go but the reviews look good for this Salon. I have to say I think it may have been one of the best services I’ve ever experienced. We have been to many salons through the year and it is a great pleasure to enjoy quality service. Thank you to all of you the staff. You are truly appreciated!

This was my first experience at a nail shop in Louisiana & Ive found my go to shop while visiting family in New Orleans. Jennifer is hands down the best!! Dont hate on her skills nor customer service. She & her team are very welcoming. The atmosphere is relaxing, inviting & CLEAN. Conversation & laughs were flowing freely, just what you want when youre trying to enjoy your spa time. Pricing is great & service was excellent. Definitely recommend a visit for a pedicure with a scrub!

I come here and see Jennifer about every 3 weeks to get manicures and pedicures. They are all very sweet and do a great job. They also have a bunch of other services too. They are all very efficient and will work around many clients and appointments at the same time. So don’t freak out when you have an appointment and they don’t get to you right at the appointment time on the freaking dot. Sometimes they are able to start working on you 5 or so minutes after and you should be okay with that. The staff all have different services they provide so they will kinda work on someone simultaneously (when super busy) to help get your services done in a timely manner. I highly recommend this place and will continue to come here

This is the second time I have visit this place. The first time it was perfect. My nails were done and it came out so good. So I went back today on Friday 11,2021 and I had my feet done as well as my nails. The lady who did my feet came out good. But the lady who did my nails. Ugh. Did not come out good. I paid 60 dollars for my nails. I was not pleased with them. I mean she did my pinky nail line different from the rest. Why didn’t she fix it. I brought it up to her. Then when I got out side in the sun. I noticed a lot more issues with my nails. Two of my nails on the side of my nail is higher then the rest of my nail. Also I paid more today then I did 3 months ago. So I wonder why I paid more today for the same way I got them done 3 months ago. Very un happy customer.

Meme is VERY unprofessional. She is rude & catches unnecessary attitudes over the smallest things. I have had three bad experiences and I am completely done at this point. She has a very nonchalant attitude when it comes to customer complaints. She does decent work but she will lose so many customers due to her POOR customer service. Do NOT go here if good customer service matters to you!

Nice place. I came in from out of town and wanted a lil TLC for my significant other and I. I was pleased with being greeted and the fact that they asked for you to wash your hands. I just wish, that at the time we sat in the pedicure chair hot water wouldve been ready for soaking.

This is one of the worst nail salon I have been too, all because I didnt allow them to use a drill to remove my gel polish. As I had a bad experience with them because it messed up my nail beds allowing nail salons to do that.(when you know better you do better) That was told to me from a nail professional. I dont know her name but she had a red shirt on on 5-12-21. She was rude and very aggressive when doing my nails. There was polish that was left on my nails which was alil that could have been filed off easily. She kept saying she didnt know what to do. I then asked her how long she has been doing nails, she told me 15 years which I couldnt tell with the lack of experience and professionalism. Ladys I really hope yall do yall research with them drills on yall nails. Quality over Quantity is the tip that I have for the 15 year nail tech. Ohh and American express is not accepted which isnt stated on their website which is expired!!

I recently moved from out of state and finally found my go to nail salon!

It’s was my first time here yesterday, they had my leg soaked in water for good 28mins and attended to people that came after me then later came and just trim the nails and just little patting on my feet then told me that was all for pedicure, plus the lady that fixed my nails I told her I want something natural but she was just rushing to finish with the nails and she did what she wanted the edges and all not so neat wasted $75 it will be my last time there

Waited 20 minutes past my scheduled appointment and the owner let 2 people who walked-in with no appointments go before me. She did not offer any apology and dismissed me.There were people inside not wearing masks, and no dividers setup between the stations. No hand sanitizer offered at the front of the building. I saw everything I needed to see in the 45 minutes I was there. Based on the fact that many of your low scoring reviews appear to be from women of color, I’ll stand by my personal experience and what I “assumed”.Original Review:Two Caucasian ladies were serviced before myself and another black female, even though we had both been waiting there at least 15 minutes prior to the Caucasian ladies walking in. The Caucasian ladies were not together (so it’s not like they tried to service them together) and one of the Caucasian ladies didn’t even have an appointment because her first question was “do you have time for a gel manicure”? I actually did have an appointment. Also, when a third black lady came and asked about walk-in service she was rudely told that she could wait if she wanted to but they were busy. However, when one of the Caucasian ladies was about to walk out because of the wait, the worker damn near begged her to stay. Needless to say I walked out and will not be back. I will not spend my money somewhere that I am looked at as “less than”.

It was okay! The tech rushed when removing the gel polish from nails scraping my skin several times. I think the experience would have been better had they not rushed.

Excellent services from Angela and Nini I would definitely recommend anyone to come here for there manicure/pedicure. Both my husband and I were thoroughly impressed with the cleanliness of the spa. This is the cleanest and friendliness place I’ve been in the greater New Orleans area and I have tried a few places. It was the only one worth writing a review.

I looked for 20 years for a great nail place and this is it I Love this place very clean and everyone is friendly I always get Jennifer she’s the best she takes her time she’s very professional and she does great work and she totally pampers you and then she also does massages which are great!! So when u go make sure to ask for her she’s awesome and does great work and she’s very thorough and doesn’t rush she does excellent work and she is a total asset to this place!!!!!!!

I have been going to gel nails and spa for a year. At first I was getting a full set and refills every 2 to 3 weeks. My nails were beautiful, but they suggested I start doing the dip. I’m so glad they suggested that. My dip will last me a month! My nails always look pretty. I love the products they use because they don’t crack. Now I have all of my own nails which are all the same length with beautiful dip polish. The staff is friendly. They give me a drink when I arrive and we have good conversation. The facility is clean and well decorated.

*Edit* I was called by the customer service manager Jennifer shoftly after leaving and she has offered to fix my pedicure and make me a satisfied customer. Chaging to 3 stars.I came here because Im looking for a place to get regular pedicures. While scrubbing my feet Jenny asked if I wanted to pay $5 extra for her to use the steel foot grater. Thats ridiculous! She then huffed, didnt do a good job using the pumice stone after that. She rubbed each foot for less than a minute with a hot stone and scalded my legs with a hot towel. My friend next to me is still getting her massage and my nails are done. If youre looking for a quality pedicure, look elsewhere. They painted my nails just fine, which is why they got 2 stars.

To Christian Smith!I usually don’t write a review, but since I saw this, I feel so sorry for the nail tech, whoever service on this young black lady.I am a customer who was there when you just finished your pedicure. Please girl, you are so young to make up a story. First, you come to a salon and was talking on the phone too loudly almost a half hour about that salon while many customers there, that is so rude already. You can tell your friends, whoever you know about your experiences, but you should be respected other people around you, they come to the salon to relax.! Second, you mentioned on your bad review that the nail tech come to turn the air drying machine off??? That wasn’t true, I saw she turned the “hand” air drying machines off only because you got the “feet “ done, not the “nails” done. So why you need the “hand” drying machine on for? Otherwise, you did not ask her to check on your toes nails either, only thing you did for half hour sitting there was talking bad loudly about the nail salon, making others customers think the nail salon is bad, but that made you look worse. I don’t know what was going on on your last visit, but I don’t think they overcharged you. You should have an extra service on your last visit. Please tell people the truth girl.

DO NOT BE FOOLED. When this place 1st opened, they wanted to get business so they were so nice, clean, and offered a drink etc. Now that they have settled in, the drink is no longer offered and the niceness is wearing off very fast. My last couple of pedicures (though I ordered the deluxe), were complete rush jobs. So I decided to stop getting their pedicures and would only get my nails done here because I thought they actually did a good job. However, this time I went, they had extra staff that I dont normally see. One of the new ladies was chosen to do my nails. She was rude from the start. She did not say hello or anything, just what do you want. I was in a hurry so I went along with it and told her my color. As she was filing with the machine, she was filing on my skin, and I asked her could she not get so close to my cuticle because she was zapping my skin and it was hurting. She got mad, but she was more careful. Then, I noticed she was laying the acrylic extremely thin, so I asked if she could make it a little bit thicker. She looked at me with disgust, rolled her eyes, but proceeded to make them thicker without saying a word. Fine. The final straw was when she was laying the acrylic, she was missing the side of my nail. I pointed it out to her, she got angry, yanked my hand, and started yelling at me. The manager came over to diffuse the situation, and she started yelling at the manager!!! I let them know, in over 20+ years of me getting my nails done, I have never experienced such disrespect. NEVER is it ok to get physical with a client or yell at them because you dont understand English well. NEVER!!! I told the manager that I felt completely disrespected, I was leaving, and will never do business with them again. She said No no. Ill do your nails for you dont worry. I told her no, I still wanted to leave. She held my hand and said, No, Im sorry for her. She doesnt speak good English. Ill do them and acknowledged that Ive been there many times before, so she would like me to stay. I already had one hand done, so I decided to let her finish. By the end of it, my nails looked nice, but in poor taste, they still decided to charge me. She took off 10% for the situation and said dont worry about the rude technician, some people are that way, maybe she was having a bad day. That is completely UNACCEPTABLE and not enough to keep my business. Good customer service, if you were truly apologetic, would be to say, Sorry about the problem, We value your business, This time is on us, We hope you give us another chance. But NO, instead of comping the service, they still charged me and made excuses for the other womans behavior. I could have walked out without paying, but Im not that type of person. I also could have called the police, because technically she assaulted me. Instead, I just paid the fee and walked out, NEVER to return again. They lost a good customer, and after I told 2 other people who I previously recommended to them about what happened, they were horrified and also said that they would NOT be returning. Now they have lost 3 GOOD customers. Customer service is not just about if you do good nails, its about how you treat your customers AND how you solve problems. I would much rather go back to driving all the way uptown to Jades Nail Bar, Cindys, or over to Solar Nail Lounge on West Esplanade. These places have been CONSISTENTLY nice and PROFESSIONAL for YEARS, not just putting on a fake smile for a few months. Take your money where you will be treated well and appreciated. This place just opened and will not be in business long with this attitude.

The manicures look pretty nice. But the products make my hands and feet really dry. I think it’s the lotion. Also, I had a manicurist be extremely rough with my cuticles. It actually hurt, and I had to brace myself. Overall, the place looks great, but the service doesn’t match up to how nice the place looks.

The spa is beautiful, but I wont be going back. The manicurist knicked my cuticles three times to the point of bleeding. Now the next day, my cuticles are painful to the touch. Ive never had this happen before, and I get my nails done once or twice a month. Sadly, I cannot recommend this place.

I usually dont leave a bad review but I feel everyone should be aware so I am sharing. I go to the gym upstairs and thought I try the shop out since it is practically right downstairs.I was hesitant on the previous bad reviews but decided to give the shop a try anyway.The level of sales tactic here is, I have to say, is impeccable. I came asking for a regular manicure and pedicure and was constantly asked if I wanted to add this, and add that. I was very particular on what I wanted and advised them that I just wanted a simple look. Based on the bad reviews here and up charging for services that was not requested, I did not believe it, but it actually happened to me, so I am here to warn you all that if you choose to come here, you will have to sit there and worry about what your technicians will add to your bill. Such a shame because this is a time I am supposed to be relaxed and completely at ease to enjoy myself.

I have been to many nail salons and this one is the Best! Professional, Friendly, Fun, Relaxing, Exceptional Service. They go far and beyond any salon I have ever enterered. I have recommended this salon to my sisters and friends and they all have loved it!!!!!

This is where I get my pedicures every couple weeks.The nail salon is very serene and relaxing. No loud music,no tvs blaring!!! Enjoy my pedi every single time !!

Apparently after reading my previous review you still fail to realize how you could have handled the situation between you and I, on May 10th, in a more professional manner.My previous review reflected my exact experience dealing with you at your nail salon. You are unprofessional, lack understanding, do not know how to talk to people, and have terrible business etiquette.Instead of responding to my previous review or finding a way to contact me directly, you went through the grape vine to contact my friend to gossip about me!!??!!The same friend of mine that you didnt know I was associated with and went on to gossip about our incident to when she came into your nail shop. You showed her the surveillance videos of our dispute from your iPad? Really? For what? Too bad that surveillance video didnt have audio. Im sure you wouldnt be in such a hurry to show them to your customers during your gossip sessions if that were the case.I also see you got 4 new positive reviews today. You must have been begging customers all day to write those reviews to balance out your ratings. Good luck with that though. Its clear you care more about your ratings than improving your customer service.I stand by everything I said and I hope people read my reviews and think twice about doing business with you! Wonderful experience!!! The salon is Professional, clean, and well-ventilated. I especially enjoyed that the nail techs let me sit in the massage chair to relax after my mani and pedi was done. Definitely will be back

Never a wait, the nail techs do exactly as asked, and are fast and friendly. I am very particular about my nails, being a lic. massage therapist they have to be perfect as not to injure a client or be unsanitary. My manicures and pedicures last long and are very affordable. Well worth the travel from Chalmette to Metairie. Facilities are large, clean, and accommodating to very large parties.
