As a regular loyal customer I walked in and asked if i should come back later. was told no, it will be 10 minutes. an hour later i walked out and will never go back.

My first and last visit and Im sure theyll be elated, since the consensus was and I quote.. I hope she doesnt come back. Stated in front of my daughter, after I exited, by one of the nail technicians. I was given a gift certificate from a colleague to use at this establishment which is the only reason I gave them my time. I have frequented several nail salons in and around New Orleans and have never been treated so rude like I was treated at NailCessity. I am thinking I wasnt the right race or color. Who knows. Anyway.. First off, I am a professional and have been for that last 25 years, therefore I am always cordial and friendly and I always conduct myself accordingly, in a public place. Those same standards of behavior were elicited from both myself and teenage daughter upon entering and exiting the salon. I was greeted poorly and told that there would be an hour wait as I watched other patrons come in after me and was told to pick their color and be seated. I did not read any signage stating by appointment only. After the 2nd lady walked in and was given immediate service I decide to call while sitting there to make an appointment and was told no appointment necessary and to come on in. After I made them realize that yes I was the person sitting at the door waiting, again I was told that there was an hour wait. So, I preceded to make an appointment for 1:30pm when I would return. Myself and daughter returned and services were rendered, I paid the balance difference with an added tip and exited. When I exited, I was not given a thank you or come again (terrible customer service). While my daughter sat waiting for her nails to be finished, 2 of the technicians began to talk and say negative remarks about me (she was rude, she rolled her eyes at me, how did she even find out about this place, she paid with gift certificate and the cherry on top..well I hope shes doesnt come back) until they realized that my daughter was still in their facility. I did not do anything to be treated like this or deserved to be ridiculed. Thank you but no thanks. I will definitely be taking my business elsewhere as well as post this same review on any and every site I can. The treatment I received and daughter had to witness was neither provoked nor appreciated. And the 1 star was only given because I could not post without one, otherwise there would not be 1.

I enjoyed my 1st experience and will be going here from now on.
