This is a great place to rent a storage unit. I’ve used this Public Storage several times and it is easy to rent, access and vacate. The facility is secure, too. Kylie, the office manager is really helpful and responsive, too!

Super easy to reserve our unit online. We had browser trouble and ended up with double reservations. When we called Patty quickly got the double registration removed and was super helpful and friendly. The unit was clean and easy to find. Very secure location. Entering and exiting the gates was a breeze.

My opinion this is one of the worst storage units the rental places I’ve ever rented in my life you have no bodywork on your phones 45 minutes to an hour two hours on hold I can’t get any Intel it only shows so many places in feet around the Phoenix area and especially in Mesa and it is the worst customer service I’ve ever had and I’m sorry I have a rented from you people the review your -10 terrible terrible service I have to stay with you because I’m unable to move right now but the minute I am able I will be out of here you are the worst ever

Convenientclean safe storage

Renting the storage unit was quick and easy. The storage unit was clean and conveniently located. My only complaint is that the reservation system is set up so that you really cant reserve a storage unit in advance. The only way to ensure that you get a storage unit is to pay for it right away even though you may have to rent it for several weeks before you need it.

Patty went above and beyond trying to help me solve an issue yesterday She was patient kind caring knowledgeable and extremely helpful. I think she should get a big raise!

So I put my belongings here on February 11 and today I went by to grab something out of my unit and it was completely soaked! Box after box completely ruined. Family items you can never replace. Im sure the rain came in from the door but theres NO way this could have never happened before. They should definitely do something to fix that and if they saw it was flooding in my unit area at the least they could have gave me a call to check on my things. Im writing this so this doesnt happen to anyone else. UNIT RENTAL BEWARE!!!

This place is fairly clean and easily accessible. Staff here is really nice as well. Really wish it had a second exit instead of having to drive back through the front. Otherwise I like doing business here.

They decided that it was convenient to not refund us for the 15 days we had left on or lease. Instead Jim suggested that we just take our time moving the remaining 3 things out of the shed. For $50 theyve opted to lose a customer forever. Bad business!

I have to write and tell everyone how great Lisa is. I actually used to rent a storage unit from her at Public Storage on Hayden and McKellips in Tempe a couple of years ago. She was always so kind, courteous and helpful at that location. I was in need of another storage unit, again. I picked this location out of convenience to where I was living now. I have always loved public storage and always go back to them. I was very excited and pleased to see Lisa when I walked in to set up my unit. She immediately recognized me and we had a wonderful chat and experience in setting up my new unit. I felt even better about renting at this location, knowing Lisa was the manager there. I know I can count on her for anything that might arise with my unit. I met more of the staff that work with her and they are all very nice and helpful. The staff here is super friendly and helpful! Both Connie, a regular manager at the site, and Sandie, a floating manager, helped me get my storage unit set up quickly and efficiently, all with a smile. I got in and out within 20-30 minutes. The facilities are clean and well organized. Its pretty much what youre supposed to get at a storage facility-nothing to get overly excited about, but they do what they do well.The one thing lacking is an alarm on individual units that is associated with gate entries. But the place seems otherwise well monitored and secure.Update: I ended up using this storage facility for over 5 months. Everything was nice and secure while there, and getting in and out of the facility was a breeze. Sandie was again great as I closed out the account.I definitely recommend this place to anybody in need of a storage unit!

Today I rented a unit and Sandi was the person I dealt with. This facility is at McDowell and Recker in Mesa. I cant say enough good about her customer service. Location overall is very nice and neat, you get great customer service and a nice tour of the facility. Miss leading information to get you in the door, miss information within the company on charge methods with auto pay, rude customer service over the phone, agents speak over you, bad listeners. Ive called 2X this month to settle my first payment. 2nd time a call they were nice enough to waive a late fee but act very defensive over the phone. Need Customer Service improvement.

Weve rented space in various states in the U.S. and this one gets my top recommendation with five stars in every area. Security cameras are on 24/7 too. Really happy I followed the other reviewers recommendation.

Was a customer for over 2 years - moved to a better location. Promo rate was nice initially but after that they raised the regular rates by 10% each year (without justification). I was in a 5x10 temp controlled unit that was located next to a thermometer. They use crummy swamp coolers which consistently kept it well over 100 degrees (125 was the highest Id seen it) in the warm months (half the year). Buyer beware!

My husband and I went in today to change over to a smaller storage unit. Sandy was the most helpful person! She was very thorough in getting us through the process smoothly and went above and beyond her role to treat us like family. I appreciate the time and personal care she gave us. I worked with Lisa to rent several spaces and she was very professional and helpful. I needed to switch to a smaller unit to save some money and she found me one right away that was the perfect size for my needs. The facility is extremely clean and secure, they drive around all the time keeping an eye on things. The staff tries hard to keep the place looking good and welcoming, they have a lot of enthusiasm for their work. Overall, Im very happy keeping my company vehicles there.

I have used storage facilities several times in our lives and among them, Public Storage at McDowell in Mesa, AZ., is clearly head and shoulders above all of them. Everything we can all expect from a self storage facility is right there; cleanliness, bug/critter free, availability of storage products, bathroom service but most of all, is the people they hire and retain. The manager, Lisa and Sandy; whom I didnt have the chance to say goodbye, gives this place, the personal touch that has been there from start to finish. They truly have raise the bar in this industry!

Climate control has never worked in the year I have been there. Brought this up to site manager 3 - 4 times. Quick to take you money, slow to fix or provide service promised.

Ive rented at this location for 3 months and 4 days and I checked out today. It has been a pleasure doing business with this group of people. The facility is always in top and clean condition.
