Jeff (owner) and his team went way above and beyond the call of duty to take care of me today. He not only took on the risky work (cutting into EOM parts on my Aston Martin), but I also noticed him sweeping one of the bays. Setting the example and being willing to do the most menial tasks is truly a sign of good leadership. And his crew was upbeat, positive, and smiling. And his rates! I told him I felt like I was taking advantage of him, and another customer piped in and said, Oh, go ahead. Everyone else does! They won my business for life.

This place is amazing and the staff is very professional. We took one of our older cars to have an alignment done! Unfortunately we werent able to had the work done that day due to the many problems with the suspension. The tech was very honest and let us know exactly what we needed done! Came here for some tires to be put on, decently priced and a great atmosphere. Asked about a service I was looking for, they don’t do it yet, but when told that I will purchase the part, and how it’s installed, was told bring it in and we’ll take a look. These guys have been around since 1942 I believe, you don’t stick around that long unless you do good work and treat people with respect. I HIGHLY recommend them, and will be going back there myself.Also, if you’re buying tires online, stop in there and talk with them, they’ll work with you!

1st time visit here and couldn’t be more pleased. I wanted oversized tires that required some modification to my truck. Jeff (owner) took time to educate me and not just try to sell me on some new tires. I was sold there. When I picked up my truck I found out that he is the one that did all the mod work! Recently I went to get the air in my tires checked at Discount Tires. After they inspected one of my tires that was low on air they said my wheel was bent. After attempting to fix it several times they said that I needed a new wheel for about $80.00. I drove my car to Gunnel’s and they fixed it for free. Had a tire going bad on my travel trailer when on vacation so I went into their shop to see if they could replace all four. They had had a run on tires that day but they sent me to another Gunnells shop about 7 minutes away. They had them in and had them on within 45 minutes. Very helpful very professional super prices. Highly recommended.

I have been a customer of Gunnells on Main for 20 years! They are amazing at customer service, quick, efficient, do the best for the client! I am writing this review as I sit at Big O, I got a flat today and gunnells isn’t open. I have been sitting waiting to fix a tire that got a screw in it for almost 2 hours. They came out to try and upsell me on my filter and all kinds of things! I don’t ask them to anything other than fix my tire….they are wasting my time and theirs. Gunnells has never done this, has never taken ridiculous amounts of time even when they go out of the way to fit me in. Thank you Gunnells for all that you do!!! Overpriced on their alignment, my vehicle pulls to the other side now. It is better, but they did not give any info on what was wrong with my alignment until I asked the guy that did it. No one asked about the tires missing tread and it seemed like. Nobody seemed to care about letting me know what was wrong or if I was interested in other services. To set a three day appointment and get nothing special in information about my vehicle it only makes me wonder what people see about this place aside from the silly vehicles on display out front. A dealership does a much better job, maybe I am just spoiled. I saw no indication that they cared for my business. I would give two stars if I didnt have issues still with it.

I have been going to Gunnells Tires and Service for years and they NEVER disappoint. They are kind, professional, and always take great care of their customers. Two weeks ago I had a nail in my tire that they repaired at no charge. Then this last weekend I had another nail in a tire that they repaired at no charge. They were happy to do it and had genuine smiles on their faces. I have always had my oil changed by them and I have purchased my tires from them as well, but they are a business that has always been run the right way and they always do what is right by the customer, and that is why I will always choose Gunnells.

Being a woman with car troubles isn’t easy and its been very difficult for me to get an honest look at my car in the valley. Spending large amounts of money on my car each time for it to ultimately to have the same problems wrong with it. Gunnels tire service is the first honest place I’ve been to in years, and had an overall amazing experience. Questions were answered, transparency was present, and this business gained a returning customer for life. So happy! Thank you !

Im so grateful I decided to come to gunnels the next day, they repaired my tire within 45 min. The front desk was so kind and helpful. They gave me no trouble at all. This Jeff Duran Ive sold tires and seen plenty of nail holes . I took a nailed tire to them in hopes to buy 4 tires and be done with it, but, Jeff Duran had other plans ; let me explain; so when I got there Jeff gave me a price of 388 for 4 tires I told him I had to wait until Friday to do that and I just needed to get one tire plugged at first I said patched he said hed rather plug we left the car there went to go get something to eat when he calls my wife had my phone answers Jeff tells her that the nail has now punctured the sidewall and it cannot be fixed I could plug that tire on the side of the road with a pair of jeans and some spray adhesive anyway the wife tells him to go ahead and fix it however whatever is going to take $97 later for one tire. It just seems to me he could have fixed that that tire you could have plugged it you know and and hes saying that the nail was long enough to poke through the sidewalk it was not I pulled the tire off myself I seen where the nail was it say in the first line of Fred you know what I mean it was far enough away from the sidewall course by the time the wife gets home unless we know all this gas already got a new tire on the truck and aint nothing I can do about it but pay for it I think hes a real Hustler up there and it was at times you been slow and heat he needs to get his money however he needs to get it Im going to take that tire back to him tomorrow and if they dont if they dont take it back Im going to have to call corporate and set up some kind of complaint maybe Id better business bureau. And theres this really sucks because my girl has taken her car over there probably eight or ten times in the past 40 years and had it fixed and service fixed and service the old nail holes whatever they just fix it for her and and Center on wet and you know shes done this for four years and then she goes in there with me all of a sudden Jeff knows where I work oh yeah and work the best cabinets so now he knows Im making money hes after that f****** commission and he got it to prison hes going to take that tire back tomorrow.UPDATE 11/30/2020 ; JEFF STRAIGHTENED EVERYTHING OUT VERY PROFESSIONAL LIKE, PAYED ME BACK THE $ AND EXPLAINED THAT THERE WAS A LACK OF COMMUNICATION ON BOTH PARTS. MORE SO ON MINE .HE TRULY SEAMS LIKE A MAN OF INTEGRITYAS WELL AS A SMART BUISNESSMAN.Ill most likely give him a 2nd chance.

Discount Tire refused to patch the nail in my tire saying the tire was too worn and needed to be replaced. Took my car to Gunnell Tire & Service in Mesa, for a second opinion. They said the tire could be repaired and had about 5k more miles of life. They patched and rotated my tires free of charge. 5 stars for Gunnell and their honest service.

Treated me great, I needed a back-up spare with rim. They did not have one in stock, but they said they would have one within 24 hours. Went to pick it up, used tire and rim but it looked good and they did a low honest price. Fully recommend, finally a place that does not try to rip you off. Thanks

Stopped in there on Saturday to see about getting my valve stem changed. My tire wasnt holding air and my husband thought it was a problem with the valve stem. They told me it could possibly be the TPS so I was totally expecting to be told it would be a $70 repair. To my utter delight, I was told it was a hole in my tire and $10 to repair it. I was there less than 30 minutes total. GREAT customer service and HONEST.

So far, I have only been there for an alignment but I will definitely be back. I have been to multiple shops, trying to find one that is honest and can fix the problem. Ive had a vibration/shaking feeling for nearly a year, been to 3-4 shops for other work and told them about it. Every single one said they could not find anything wrong and would suggest that it was just the roads. Well, a FEMALE friend (who is not even a mechanic) of mine suggested that it might be the alignment because her old car did that and that was the problem. When I called and spoke to a mechanic and told him what was going on and that I wanted an alignment, he wasnt sure that was what I needed but said to bring it in to check. It absolutely was the alignment, front and back. They fixed it, without saying I need a bunch of other work. They got me in, got it taken care pretty quickly and I was on my way. I will be back! Thank you!!!!

I walked in the door and not one worker or customer had a mask on. As a nurse I was appalled and left. I will not do business with any establishment that dishonors medical personnel and those who have perished to covid. I believe in science and protecting others from sickness and possibly death.

I am a visiting mechanic to Mesa and on the way down here my Volvo developed a vibration that defied solution. I told Jeff that he would elevated to angel status if he could pinpoint the problem. Well I am happy to say Jeff was thorough, determined and solved the problem. He is indeed an angel. He discovered that the new integral wheel bearing hub that I installed was faulty from the get go. The solution escaped me, but Jeff was on to it. I had the best experience dealing with Jeff and his mechanic helper Larry. Jeff, you made my day and gave me the focus towards the root cause manufacturing mechanical problem that I had overlooked. Jeff is indeed a mechanic’s mechanic. Well done. Thanks again. Gunnells did a front end alignment, and tire rotation on my F350 this past Monday. Then on Tuesday they changed out 5 tires on my 5th wheel. The service is hands down the best I have ever witnessed. Jeff got me right in as soon as I arrived and got it done fast. They changed out 5 tires with balance on new goodyears in 35 minutes. Now thats service. I will definitely return and will recommend to others.

This is a great shop with great customer service and staff. I really noticed a difference in service and care that Im not used to seeing in other big brand tire shops. The manager Jeff was also a really nice guy and you can see that he really tries to take care of each customer. I will definitely be back for any other service I need.

Changed the price. Called John last week 6/6/18, discussed the need for 6 RV tires, it was nice that he took the time to work with me and gave me analogies of why not to pay more for RV tires in Arizona due to they dry-rot in 5 years, usually way before needed. Today 6/13/18 I called to schedule the 6 tire install and verify the price and in stock. Now the same tires are $41 more each ($244/set). Both John & I wrote this down and compared our notes. He admitted he changed the price. For the record; Gunnels prices were higher than other tire dealers but I like Jeff & John from previous purchases. Besides who wouldnt want to support a local business. Called another local business down the road and got same day service and saved $244...back to the original price Johan originally quoted. Imagine that! In talking with another tire dealer, Gunnels price on these tires is 60 to 70% of the quoted price, that leaves room to still make profit at the original quote. I dont think John knows, or maybe cares of his business anymore. I hope things get back to what they were prior,

We are ver pleased with Gunnells. They replaced flat for us free of charge on a tire that we hadnt even purchased from them originally. They told us it would be a wait time of 30-40 minutes and we ended up waiting about an hour but were pleasantly surprised when they told us there was no charge for the repair. I will defiantly take our cars here for tires in the future!

Went in to get an alignment. Set up appointment, told them it would need shims. The alignment (camber) was off from modifications to increase travel in front suspension. And lifted about 2”. I was a ASE master tech, but I don’t have my own alignment machine. They have lifted trucks parked out front for attention, so I thought they would be able to align a mildly modified 4wd. They called and said that tie rod ends were loose, and were kind of vague about it. I told them I could set the toe myself, just fix the camber. Needed about 1/4” shims added. Plenty of adjustment in the camber and tie rod ends. All they adjusted was the toe. They basically leveled the steering wheel. The tires are still visibly angled out at the top. They camber should be at 0°, and they are shim adjusters. Most late model alignment machines actually tell you what shims to put in to correct caster and camber. And I have since removed all the tie rod ends, inners and outers, with out roughing the adjusters and they are not worn out. The boots were torn, but the joints were fine.
