I was referred to AJs from several people at my church I usually took my truck to the Dodge dealer since the day I bought it, but theyre so expensive so I took a chance for the first time since 2008 and took my vehicle to AJs, and my wife and I couldnt have been more happy with the service and AJ himself is a fantastic fellow with deep roots. A.J. McKays is my go to auto repair shop. I have never been disappointed with the service. I have had some extensive service on my 2005 4Runner. The vehicle runs great and I feel like Ill get another 100,000 miles out of it. The prices have always been comparable or better than competition. I have many options close to me, but I am happy driving 40 minutes to have service complete at A.J. McKays. I have always received honest advice and thoroughly discussed different options for service especially in the larger bills! Excellent! Thank you!

A.J. is the most friendly, trustworthy mechanic I think Ive ever encountered. Good place for an oil change or necessary repairs. You can trust AJ to tell you the truth about what your car needs. Not inexpensive, but they dont overcharge either. Make an appointment before you go. He is competant, friendly, and keeps his appointments.

AJ was great at explaining what the issue was with our car. He didn’t try to up sell us and even recommended we go to another shop for basic tire work.

I came here for a second opinion on some suggested work to one of my vehicles. They inspected my van and test drove. He told me point blank that my suspension was in great shape. Aj has taken care of my vehicles for several years. His shop does a good job, and at a fair price. He often takes time to both listen to my concerns, and tell me details about the repair. He even gives me advice on how to maintain things. I have had everything from a 1980s motor home to a 2016 Honda in his shop over time, and he has handled them all.

Best place i have found to get my car serviced in Mesa. Honest, helpful and still the best deal i could find. My A/C went out on my Volvo and i got 3 opinions. They explained everything the best and were $100 cheaper then everyone else, with excellent results. I will be taking them everything from now on.

I would like to thank them for being honest and up front with me. They could have charged me a ton of money for repairs that wouldnt have made a difference. I will definitely be back. Truly an honest mechanic. Thank you.

Had some front end work to be done on my Ram 1500. AJ and his mechanics checked it out on the spot and quoted me a price almost $2,000 less than one of the big store shops. What a great place to have your car serviced! I live in the north valley and have not been able to find a mechanic that will do what my car needs without an extra sales pitch. Not only did Mr. McKay contact me to apologize for the experience I had, he also went out of his way to offer to make things right. I was thoroughly impressed that he took the time to hear me out. We discussed what had happened, and he agreed that things should not have gone the way they did. More importantly, he assured me that things would not go that way again in the future (for me or anyone). The sincerity in his voice alone made me reconsider my previous judgment about his shop; and I agreed to put the past experience behind me, and give him another opportunity to demonstrate the quality of his shops services. Great service. I had an oil leak from my rear differential and also the transmission on my 2013 car (I do not have warranty because I now have too many miles) and AJ McKay was able to get both problems fixed right away. He made sure both problems were fixed and was honest about it! He didn’t try to sell me anything that wasn’t needed. I made a call to the dealership afterwards to find out what they would recommend and charge, so very happy I took it to AJ! I was worried about finding a repair shop after my warranty ran out, but I’m not anymore. I would recommend this shop for excellent and honest service.

I want to thank A.J McKay auto for saving the day. I broke down in the middle of Power road during five oclock traffic. The owner personally came to help me push my car off the road and call for a tow truck. They called me the following day to inform me of the problem.It was my fuel pump. They had my car fixed in no time and the price was quite reasonable. I thought it would have been much more costly. A.Js kindness and professionalism is truly commendable. Thanks guys! I dont usually trust mechanics because they try and update you alot except Aj Mccays I went in for a misfire diagnosis and he told me up front that it wouldnt be worth paying him to fix itdidnt even push me on a sale.

I cant say enough about AJ and the crew over there. This is a man of honesty and integrity who truly cares about his customers and their vehicles and will do whatever he can to make it right while trying to watch your wallet for you in the process. I was in a bad situation, wiring harness shorted out and I could have lost the car. Luckily I didnt, took it to AJ and we looked at it and the options we had and discovered it was a little worse then first thought. I had to order a harness for it from GM in Detroit. AJ was concerned about the vehicle being moved and said just leave it with me Ill store it inside for you until the harness arrives. It took nearly 2 weeks to get here. He stored the car for me and didnt charge me a dime for it. I gave them the harness when it arrived and they had my car repaired in a VERY timely manner and at a VERY reasonable price. Ill be taking all my vehicles to him in the future and referring everyone I knowto him. Kudos to AJ and his crew, youd have to search high and low to try and find better.Many thanks AJ!
