Air Care replaced a compressor a couple of months ago, and yesterday Saturday Aug 14th the fan in the house was operating but no cool air as the unit outside wasn’t running. I called and spoke with Chris he stated his Service Manager Mike H. Would come by at approximately 2:00pm. Mike arrived checked the unit and ascertained it wasn’t getting any power. Mike located the breaker box and found the breaker for the AC was tripped reset it showed exactly how to reset the Breaker and recommended replacing breaker. Mike H advised to go buy one not call an electrician as the cost is astronomic. I felt kinda silly that this simple fix would have saved Mike H a trip. Mike called his owner and requested not to charge me the 150.00 it would cost and it was waived. Mike was very kind and the owner is obviously all about customer service, and long term relationships.I highly recommend Mike H and Air Care. Great service.

Marcus performed a complete analysis on each our our AC units and drains. He quickly noticed an issue on one unit. He corrected the problem, and it will work until a lower pan in the attic can be replaced. There was no problem with other unit. He was courteous and gave us options as to what we may want to do going forward. Thank yoiu

I have a history of my HVAC system freezing up in extreme temperatures. This past week was no exception. I called Air Care and Marcus came out on that same day, Wednesday. We decided the best course would be to have a new unit installed. Unit was installed on Friday by Robert and David, but unfortunately, it also froze up. Robert came out within the hour after reporting the problem, on Saturday, to try to fix the problem. He checked out the system and said everything checked out fine. But, freezing happened again. The following afternoon, Sunday, Ken and Robert came out and found that the computer on the unit needed some “tweaking”. That seemed to do the trick. So far, so good. The whole Air Team, Marcus, Robert, David, Heather and Ken worked together to get the job done. Thank you for the service.

With all of the great reviews, I decided to reach out to Air Care when one of our AC units went out in the middle of 117 degree temps. The man I spoke to was super sweet, and assured me that someone would come out right away. When the tech arrived, he took a peek at our units. He told us that we needed a new unit(which we knew and were ready to schedule). However, it would take a few days to get the unit installed. He offered to get us back up and running for $700. We thought that was a very pricey quote, to get us back up and running temporarily. Because we had the downstairs unit working, we decided to advise the tech that we would think about it, since $700 was super high. When my husband went to hand the tech the $60 for for service charge, the tech said you have an AC guy here to help, but you arent going to use him? Then, he literally put his hands up, and said keep your money, and walked away. We were shocked, confused, and disappointed by the unprofessional response. We eventually found another another AC company, who came out the next day. He was super professional an kind. He got us back up and running for $272. NOT $700 that we were grossly over quoted by Air Care. Our new AC tech and will be coming next week to install a new unit. To overcharge valley residents during a time when they are in need, with the dangerously high temps is just simply unacceptable. For this reason, Air Care gets a 1 star!!!!

Found my new AC tech for life and his name is Mike. Very knowledgeable and more important honest. I Have a 30 year old unit that I was expecting to replace when it quit couple days ago. Mike ran tests and said everything is good except my coils were extremely dirty and was restricting airflow. Also I had stored a couple things behind my units a month ago that’s was also hindering airflow. I just appreciate him being so honest as I was ready well not ready but willing to be paying 7 or 8k for a new unit. Now I can wait until winter. Thx Mike!

I had an air-conditioning issue this morning and tried to call several places to come out to take a look at my unit. Most were unavailable until a few days from now. I called air care and they were able to come out within two hours. The service they performed was outstanding. I’m very satisfied with the quick turnaround and the work that they did.

Ken came to my condo and noticed immediately that my unit was soon to burn out due to lack of Surge Protection. To be honest, my Condo was sold and I really could have walked away but we spoke about Honesty, integrity and Making the right choices for the right reason. We both agreed to fix the unit so the buyers wouldn’t have future problems. Great choice. What a phenomenal Honest worker you have in this Gentleman, such a rare quality in people these days. Ken did such a wonderful job I was super stressed out calling tons of places already knowing my 30 yr unit needed to be replaced (I was screwed over by my current servicing company when they told me I didn’t need to replace it yet sticking me now in one of the hottest days with no ac) no one could offer me a quick solution. timeframes for replacement left me without ac! Not only did he get my old unit running to cool the house he is scheduling us faster than everyone else to install the new unit.Ken was the best so patient and understanding allowing us to be comfortable while we wait for install in a couple days!

The technician was on-time and check both of my units ( I wanted a tune-up) and he gave a detailed explanation of what was needed. So he gave me all the options of the maintenance plan, and that is where the pressure started, he was trying to sell us the plan, until and I told him that I didnt want it right now, he got mad and left! I am giving 2 stars only because of the detailed explanation, but I dont think that is professional at all to just get mad because you dont buy their maintenance plan.

Revised on 2/11/2021Air Care responded to my review within 24 hours. The lady I spoke with was quite apologetic and said that this is NOT their usual standard of business. They take their reviews seriously and wanted me to be satisfied. She asked me to let them come back out and redo the inspections. The technician arrived on time and immediately got to work and did a through and in my mind complete inspection of the systems.based on the fact that Air Care followed up on my review and that (on their dime) they came back out and did a thorough job I have revised my rating form a one to a five. Not every company cares enough to back up their work. Air care did. Thank you.This review only applies to their spring tune-up special. I did not hire them for any follow-on services.I needed a spring tune up on 2 units. They advertise a 39 point inspection. I told them that one air handler was in an RV garage which has a 16 foot ceiling. Also they would need an extra tall stepladder to access the filter.The tech (Ken) said he saw the note, but his ladder would not reach and besides, since the unit was only 4 years old, the air handler did not need to be checked At that point I should have sent him on his way, but foolishly let him continue.I know for a fact that he did not do all 39 inspection on both units. For example, he did not check/replace any of the filters on either unit. He did not turn on the house unit to check for the split temperature between the return and the output.He came back with a list of optional services he would recommend (approximately $4,000). While I expected to be hit with optional upgrades I also expected to have a thorough inspection of my units which did not take place.For this reason, I gave them a rating of 1, since I now have to go and get another company out to service the units.

Updated: Company stepped up and made us whole financially and resolved the issues after we elevated the below story to management.Our Story:-Our AC went down in 115 mid-July heat. We called for an emergency AC repair on our unit that stopped working. Ken arrived and quoted $1,500 to get back up and running, but highly recommended replacement due to the age of the system. He looked at all 3 units in our house, pointed out some electrical burn marks on the disconnects which made us believe that we had potential fire hazards. We decided to replace. We ordered all 3 units as Ken appeared knowledgeable.- Next day (Th) we scheduled Monday install since we were out of town on the weekend.-We got home on Sunday to find the brand-new equipment sitting in our driveway, unsecure and covered in water/puddles… Our neighbor said it arrived on Friday (3 days before install, unsecured, wide open to the weather). That weekend was a huge storm that dumped rain on everything. Brand new electronics/electrical equipment soaked.- Monday scheduled for 7, no one showed up until after 9:30. The crew did not mention anything about the (damaged) equipment, but they started to lay it out to dry it out. I told them we would not accept any equipment be installed in our house that was sitting in water. They assured us new equipment was on the way. We had to go on with our day, unable to verify the replacement. Bad on us, we trusted them to swap it out. As of writing this review, we have not received proof that they swapped out the bad/wet equipment.- About 4pm, Ken called, a worker stepped through our ceiling in our spare bdrm. Things happen, I understand, Ken guaranteed it would be fixed right away. They would hire a professional to patch the drywall and paint. However, the hole was left open to our living space for many days with insulation and drywall dust blowing around in our house… We have a son with a history of asthma and breathing issues. He developed a cough only a few days after the install. He has been waking up coughing badly daily over the past 2 weeks.- I got home at 5 and was told they were ‘almost done’. A part was missing that was lost. Over 2 hours later, the part was found directly under the hole on the floor. The units finally got turned on at 10:30pm.-The next day, we find a brand new ceiling grille for our casita AC unit in our trash… they reinstalled the old grille on the new unit and hid the new grille and were simply going to throw it away. Not 100% on this, but it appears they ordered the wrong size or even the wrong type of grille for the unit.-A few days later we noticed they left the light on in the attic. Lights produce heat, we had no idea it was on… potential fire hazard in a hot attic.-It takes over a week for the drywall guy to patch the hole. As of writing this, they have not come back to repaint.-2 weeks after install, upstairs starts to get HOT… AC unit stops blowing air… could it be because it sat in water outside for a weekend? Not sure, but how does it just stop working. Tech finds the coils frozen, the air vents 100% clogged with insulation and drywall dust… they never replaced air filters when installing brand new systems… really? The job can’t afford to have new $10 filters put in?? On top of these findings, the tech found many install issues, including an unlevel exterior unit, electrical boxes on the side of the house that weren’t mounted properly or sealed to prevent water from getting into our exterior walls and incomplete pipe insulation on the exterior and attic pipes…Buyer Beware- They start out friendly and appear easy to deal with, but do not perform quality work and are not accountable to what they say… By the way, Ken (salesman) claimed he was management and that he personally visits every job at completion to confirm everything is installed 100% correctly… after our initial visit, we never saw Ken again… Got his sale and moved on…Followup: After raising concerns to mgmt, Mike was sent out to fix things. He is honest and took care of things. better late than never.

We have had a service contract with air care for about three years. We knew we needed a new air conditioner soon due to age and not working. When the sales rep Ken came out, he didnt really explain to us the unit us the unit that would best meet our needs due to our age and finances. He basically sold us the most expensive and put us with a very high interest rate for the financing. I tried to want something more manageable for us but he just signed us up for the highest interest rate without explaining options. Now we will be paying a lot more and we are stuck with their service. Every time they come out there are always additional charges. After all this Ken didnt even bother checking our other unit which is also included in the contract and was only interested in selling us the new unit. Not a great way to do business and I am very disappointed.I will say this company has really tried to make some changes to my situation. Unfortunately they tried to change the loan interest but couldnt. I do really appreciate their efforts. They also are trying to make this better by giving me some additional services at no cost. This is very kind of them. I have told them, I do take some responsibility for what transpired and I think we all learned from this experience. I will continue to have them service my AC units and I think they are a trusting company.

Had a salesperson (#1) from the company over to give us an estimate for replacing our two AC units in our home. The presentation was polished and the estimate was reasonable. It was when he asked where we were in the process that everything went south. I said we had one more estimate to get before making a decision. He had the audacity to ask from whom and proceeded to give me the Why in the heck would you do that? look and tried to talk me out of it without giving me a reason to change my mind. I told I would call after that estimate and we would go from there.Next morning (Wednesday), we received the estimate from the other company and decided to go with that company. On Friday, I called Air Care back and spoke with a different salesperson (#2) and gave him our decision. I also pointed out the issues I had with their presentation. This salesperson continued to try and sell me. We had the new units installed from the other company that day.Fast forward to Tuesday of the following week, I received a call from Salesperson #2 who obviously forgot that he talked to me on Friday. He proceed with the same pitch about the 3 different options we were presented, etc. I hung up only to find out that he had called my wife the same day and left her a message that said (paraphrasing) that “we told him to call her to discuss our options”.Bottom line. You didn’t get sale. I followed through and called with my decision. Move on. Leave me alone because this is borderline harassment. Hopefully this review will get their attention.

It was easy to schedule and easy appointment. They were even early. The Tech, Jose, was nice and courteous. I received both the invoice for my service call and the pics of the issues with my units the same day. My only complaint and why I did not give them a 5 star is that I was promised a bid to replace both of my AC units (Saturday) and I have yet to receive it (Tuesday). I guess they dont want my business. :(

I called AC Care after finding them in a magazine mailed to my home. Unlike other companies, they responded to my calls. Ken was my technician. Ken was on time, polite and listened to my situation. Our original contact was with Joe at Air Care. He was very friendly and immediately schedule a tune-up on our heating and air conditioning. On the date of the inspection we were contacted by the office advising that Jose would be our technician and would be arriving within 30 minutes. Upon arrival by Jose, he immediately inspected our furnace and air conditioning unit. He explained what he was doing and advised that our unit was in good working condition. He serviced the coils on the air conditioning unit washing the coils. Jose was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and it was a delight having him as our technician. We will use air care for any future needs for heating and air conditioning

We needed two air conditioner men at our house and they worked overtime to get the job done. They (Josh and Derek, I think) we’re friendly, informative and very polite. They explained what they were doing and what our air conditioner was doing. It was a very positive visit and our air was working better thru the night than it had been!

I was not happy with my current Air-Conditioning company and decided to find a new one. There are a vast amount out there, but I liked the look and feel of Air Care Cooling and Heating, so I opted for them and I am very pleased that I did.Josh was very polite, showed up on time, and they do an excellent job at competitive pricing. Josh walked me thru the steps of checking my unit and pointing out issues that he was concerned with. Theyve been here on two occasions now and I have no complaints with their work and would recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable Air conditioning company.

I experienced one of the best Service done today, from Air Care Cooling & Heating Technician Josh. He was warm and friendly,very knowledgeable of his trade and thoroughly assessed the problem on my AC Unit, and discussed his findings and recommendations with me before fixing the problem.arrived in a timely manner.Great Customer Service skilled.Highly Recommend!!!! I bought a new air conditioning unit from these guys. I was supposed to get yearly follow up inspections, but Ive never received any follow up calls and have always had to call in and schedule myself. Now, the blower motor failed 3 yrs in. Part is under warranty with the manufacturer, great. Labor is not under warranty. Tech quoted me $800 to install the part. Since I knew the install was an hour or less, I asked to speak to the manager. Instead of giving me the time of day, he lectured me on how skilled labor is needed for the job and how hot the attic can get and how it might take up to 5 hours. Which I sympathize with, but seriously $800? I regret to say that I lost my cool and vented a bit. He then told me that no one else except people working out of their garage would charge me less for a blower repair. I went ahead and looked elsewhere and got 2 cheaper quotes. In the end, $250 out the door including the other companies service call charge since they had to clean up the mess for Air Care. Repair took 40 minutes.

The tech, Isaiah, was very nice and thorough. He went over all the findings and options with me. Wasnt pushy with the sales. Prices seemed a little high but arent they all when it comes to AC repairs.
