You can learn so many interesting facts and the history comes to life! I won’t buy antiques from anywhere else in Memphis!
Just called and asked to speak to a manager was told no theres no one here and was promptly hung up on!Great way to treat a potential customer!!
I was amazed at the high quality antique jewelry that was available. The knowledge of the staff and owner was also unique. Not just a piece of jewelry but also a story of the time and era it was made. Worth the trip for the knowledge you will gain even if you dont buy. Thanks for the Great Service
Victoria is always pleasant and very knowledgeable. She has unique pieces. It is always a pleasure to go and browse in her shop. Of course Tucker always gives you a wonderful greeting.Don’t miss out on this experience. Go check it out.
Special Things is the only antique jewelry carrier of which I am aware in the Memphis area. Her selection is always nice, and she will do her level best to find you other items in which you are particularly interested. Her prices and her customer service cannot be beat.
So I’m still weary of Special Things, but I found the perfect engagement ring there. Also when a 1$ stone was “accidentally” put in my ring instead of a 450$ stone they refunded me the 450$. I don’t know how it could have happened but they did take care of their mistake with out me having to do anything more then explain the problem. Seemed like they did not believe me and we don’t know if they have ever done this before. I told them this stone was just a temporary thing, that’s probably where things got fishy. Fortunately when we were shopping to get it replaced with a diamond a gemologist informed us of the “mistake”. I guess worst case scenario they still take care of you. But I don’t advise Special Things because my memory of becoming engaged will forever be hurt by the fact that a fake stone was in one of the most sentimental items I will ever own and I can’t forget that. At least they fixed this “mistake”.
If you want to buy or repair vintage jewelry..: this is the place! I’ve had a half dozen vintage rings resized or repaired here and I wouldn’t go anywhere else.
