I was looking for a ring and the lady was encouraging custom made. The man came out to give me a quote and says “I don’t have time to be bothered with your $500 piece.”He then verbally abused me and I caught it on film. This will be going social media. He says he is Armenian and Israeli immigrant and it makes it harder for immigrants like myself.I posted video on social media and they had it taken down. Just went and ordered several pieces from a different local jeweler and they were very kind. Take business elsewhere.-A local female minority US Veteran
My husband and I just went to sell something of personal value to us and were went to all the top places.. All of Which offered us pennies in comparison. Not only was the place warm and friendly but they seemed to care. Just good people with honesty prices. Dont trust what everyone says without double checking. Go and see Mr. Daniel. I promise.
I couldnt be happier with my experience working with Daniel Yacoubian and his wife. They were great people, very insightful and helpful, along the way. My fiancee was very, very pleased with the ring from Daniel Yacoubian. They gave me a great ring, fair price and a very pleasurable experience. I highly recommend doing business with Daniel Yacoubian for all of those seeking a special jewelry for your special someone.
I was going to see how much I could get for a ring at accent jewelery, Google landed me here. I am so glad it did. She gave me a price and told me I could walk next door to accent. Daniels is a nicer store and gave me a fair price.
Nicest experience Ive ever had with a jewelry store in Memphis. Approachable, friendly, down to earth and honest. No idea what these other people are describing, because that was nowhere near my experience with them.
Owners are very personable. I feel like with family when I visit. Plus, the love and care they put into their work is impeccable.
They were warm and friendly and came highly recommended. I will recommend them to others.
Very knowledgeable, friendly and skillful. He is my jeweler from now on. He helped us replace a lost diamond and found the perfect match.
Very friendly owners! They repaired a necklace for my wife and got it back to me the same day.
By far the best jewelers in Memphis!
Daniel is the best jeweler for customized jewelry. Love his family!
I went here to sell a beautiful ring that was my grandmothers and didnt hold any sentimental value. I am young and when I walked in the front desk lady said, I think we should look into how you actually got the jewelry. After telling her I got it from my dead grandmother and i dont appreciate the comment, the old guy came out and started yelling and cussing at me, telling me to leave. I just left thinking of how Id sell the ring elsewhere for a down payment on an engagement ring. And thats exactly what I did and invested in a $14,000 white gold ring for my fiance. Guess the old guy wasnt interested in that. Rudest p.o.s. Ive ever come across for customer service. Dont go here unless you want to be yelled at and treated unfairly. Hope this garbage store goes out of business.
I went to Daniel Yacoubian Jewelers this afternoon in order to discuss designing a custom wedding band to fit my fiancé’s custom engagement ring as well as a wedding band for myself. After being greeted by a lady who seemed pleasant, Mr. Yacoubian emerged from his office and met me at the counter. I explained what I needed and he curtly told me that since he did not sell me the engagement ring, he did not want my business and would not be troubled with designing anything for me (he literally looked at the ring, confirmed he did not sell it to me & told me to take my business elsewhere). I asked a second time because I thought I misheard or misunderstood him since this kind of dismissive customer service was simply astounding; unfortunately, he wasted no time in clarifying his position. For the record, I recently moved to the Memphis area and my fiancé’s ring was designed by a jewelry store in my hometown out of state. In addition, none of the other six jewelry stores I visited today voiced any similar concerns nor did they express that designing a custom wedding band would pose any problem whatsoever. If youre considering using this jewelry store, I would suggest taking your business to Phillip at James Gattas Jewelers or Shelley at Robert Irwin Jewelers: both gave me personalized attention and answered all my questions. Im actually having great difficulty deciding which of these great companies to use.
Beautiful, one of a kind designs.
