I called my insurance for a break down & the insurance sent over Rapid Response. My drivers name was David, very polite young man and very professional. Called me with an ETA, showed up on time and very willing to help. Handled my stressful situation fast and with ease! Thanks for all your help!!

Driver called twice, very rude on the phone, hung up on me in under 30 seconds both times. He clearly was not interested in helping me but let me believe he was on the way. Waited 2 hours to be told by dispatch when I called back that they had canceled my job & the driver never even left. Had to get a different tow company & no one was available anymore now that it was at 11PM. Had to leave the car there overnight. To top it off, their name is “Rapid Response.” Unbelievable.

I hate to leave such a bad review. But this has to be the worst tow company ever. Not only did I wait 3+ hours on the interstate until MO hwy safety patrol found me and helped me get to a safer location off the interstate .. I called them to update my new location and the guy (i never got a name)on the phone didn’t even care enough to write it down or let the driver know. I wait longer and longer time is now 9:30pm which i set my request at 6:26pm and original eta was 8:04pm. I re-call to get an “honest” eta. The same guy gets mad at me for just verifying the time because another text message arrives of a 14-24 eta now but the link displays 10:38pm eta. I had to just cancel because it was getting so late and at this point i had no idea if they were even going to come. I called Chaster’s Tow and Trucking and they arrived no kidding 8 min later!!!The command center for my insurance starts blowing up my phone because the “rapid response” tower could not locate me and they were checking I was okay (which I appreciated)! However, I had already communicated with this tow company of my new location but they DID NOT CARE to notify their drivers! And I also had communicated with them of the cancellation but of course they DID NOT care to properly cancel the request.There’s just so much training and professionalism that needs to be taught to this company I hope no one has to experience this with them.

Car needed a tow and they were the company that was sent out - i tried to call like 10 times mind you..and cancel but the phone line rang once then goes dead silent until it hangs up on you. thank god i went with someone else. if someone cant even get a hold of your company in an emergency situation, you clearly need to think about getting out of this business.

So they were meant to handle my jump with possible tow as the servicer for my road side assistance. 3 hours and 34 mins, plus 5 separate phone call conversations with repeated promise that the driver would call, NEVER EVER called or showed up. So 4 hours later I decided to find another company. No genuine concern or proactive effort to call with an update about anything. Don’t waste your time or your money. Can’t tell you how disgusted I am with how they handled themselves.

Scheduled an appointment to have my car towed at 3:00pm. Didn’t get told about truck driver running late until I had to call the company 15 times just to be told they can’t send someone else out and I have to wait. Even though I requested this tow in the morning at 7:45am. Very unprofessional, and deserve my money back after the horrible service.

Geico sent these guys after I asked for roadside assistance for a disabled car, and they had Matt came out. He arrived a good 10 minutes early and gave me a call. Instead of towing the car right away, he checked the battery, took one look, and told me its a battery issue. And it definitely was, he charged the battery and I was able to drive the car to a trusty car shop that told me the battery needs a replacement. Positive experience!

Engine gave out in my Subaru today. Called Rapid Response as I have always seen their trucks driving around Medford. Figured they would have a fast response time. When I called, the dispatcher asked me if I had called my roadside assistance first. I informed him I didnt have any but thanked him for Asking. Within 10 minutes I had a flatbed to my location and it was a very pleasant ride to the shop where I dropped my car off. Id highly recommend Rapid Response. They were extremely professional and prompt. Cant ask for much more.

I called Geico for roadside assistance and they sent over this company and it was a terrible experience. I called for a tow truck at 2 The wait time was an hour which is standard, after almost 2 hours and trying to call the company repeatedly I called Geico and explain the company was not answering the phone, I ended up getting in touch with someone who told me the tow truck broke down and they were going to dispatch another truck and it would be another hour. I called numerous times and got hung up on sent to voicemail and put on hold every time, around 9 o’clock I finally decided it was time for a new company to be sent out by Gieco. I hate leaving bad reviews however the company lacks in customer service- if you don’t have the tools needed to carry out your job you probably shouldn’t be doing it.

How bad could they possibly really be is what I asked myself when reading the reviews. Belive the reviews and the ratings!!! My insurance company connected me with these people for a tow. They were due to arrive at 1:50. At about 2:10 After they hadnt showed up or called with an update; I called in to dispatch. Nobody answers the phone; you hear one ring tone and then eleveator music. After making several attempts to reach the dispatch office, I called my insurance company back to request that they follow up for me. They also got one ring tone and elevator music. Since we hadnt received an update or could not reach the company, my insurance company canceled the tow and requested that another company come out for tow. The tow driver finally arrived at 2:38 after the tow request was canceled. Not being punctual and lack of communication is really bad for business!

Excellent, reliable service. Drivers professional. Mark Davis owner is great. He will tow as well, he doesnt just sit behind a desk. He Id right out there with his drivers when needed.

I used this towing service recently to move my vehicle around which was not drivable after it had been severely damaged by a tree.Both times i used this tow service they were on time, professional, courteous and follow all covid-19 guidelines.I felt safe using this service. Rapid Response Towing offers great value and they really take care of your vehicle as if it is their own. The amount of care and dedication the drivers put into securing the vehicle for transport was outstanding. I highly recommend this tow service to anyone looking for this type of service. Top notch service and beautiful equipment.

2 Hours late for pick up. Gave all information twice they arrived and refused to take the car until a second order to charge us 3 times. Tom who answered the phone hung up five times. Very unprofessional said he’s the owner the boss and will never ever get fired due to a customer. Therefore customers don’t matter. Called again until a guy name Mark answered said he was the “Owner/Principal” and he’s Tom superior meaning Tom Lied. He agreed Tom is not the owner. Lie was approved by Mark. Mark was worse using childish language and calling us names. Would never use this service if you care about your property he agreed Rapid Response is not trustworthy.

An initial towing request was place at 4:28 pm. I received the verification text with the company’s phone number. No one EVER answered the call.By 6:25, no one had shown up. No one continued to answer the phone. I filed a request with Geico to follow through with them. I received their verification text again. Again, no one answered. Finally I forced Geico to get them on the phone where I spoke with someone who gave his name as Mark. He claimed I never got a text to verify the service, that perhaps it was a computer error (twice).Now he assured me that a driver is on his way at 8:11!!! He won’t let me know when he finishes the job (brings it to Toyota), but I will get job completion verification by text. I think you get the idea.STAY AWAY FROM THIS GROUP.

Tow was scheduled for 1215/1230. Tow was cancelled and never called as to why, or that they werent coming. trust these poor reviews and dont bother wasting your time. you could probably push your car faster to where it needs to go rather then wait for these unprofessional neanderthals. trash company.

Worst service Ever!! I literally waited 5 hours for my car to be towed and every time I called them they said they were 30min away. Poor communication, take for ever for service, literally the worst experience I ever had. Wouldn’t recommend this to anyone, literally wasted my entire day just waiting for them.

My car battery died in a parking lot recently... Jason, went out of his way to give me a jump start. The company probably would have towed me if he wasn’t nearby to selflessly help me out. He completely saved my night, my weekend and a lot of money. Thank you so much for helping me out!!!! Your kindness was truly a blessing and I could only hope to pay it forward.

On 12/11/2020 Rapid Response Towing worked with GEICO to get me from the State Police Barracks in Boston all the way back home to Fall River. Mr Rodriguez was my tow driver and he was prompt, professional and a hardworking down-to-earth guy. The trip was a breeze and Mr Rodriguez kept me very positive during such a chaotic time. He was engaged and gave great advice on what my next steps should be for my recently broke down SUV. They follow safety protocols and I felt they took my safety very seriously. We were both masked and there was sanitizer at the ready. A company is only as great as their employees and I am very happy Rapid Response and Mr Rodriguez was a part of my towing experience during this stressful time. Worst towing company! Customer service is pathetic and rude. Was supposed to provide towing service in an hour and even at 2 hrs and 15 min the tow truck wasn’t there after which requested to cancel service. Staff told me the truck is there but it wasn’t and when I cancelled the staff didn’t even have the courtesy to provide an apology.

I drove my daughter back to her home in Brighton from NY.My car started acting up, parked it and called insurance it was Sunday night so Monday morning they had dispatched Rapid response. Matt was there on time and patiently waited for me to walk to my car. He was very nice and brought my car to the mechanic .Thanks Matt!!

This is a horrible company! Been waiting for a tow for hours and they said they arrived on site and called my cell multiple times. I’m sorry that’s a lie. Why would I not answer the phone in 100 degree weather? The loser who answered the phone even hung up on me. Wrong guy dude. The BBB will have a field day with this one. Had to call a real towing company Stoneham. Towing who was here in 10 minutes.

I needed to have my car towed to the repair shop, Im a AARP road service client. I called and spoke to the receptionist for AARP, I then received a text message saying the driver would be there in about 1 hour ten minutes.I did read the review as was say OK, let see when they get here.The flatbed arrived within 30 minutes.The driver loaded on the car and off he went.I want to say i VERY happy with the service I received.They were here early,Cruz the tow truck driver was VERY polite and friendly.If I was every stranded and waiting for a tow I would not hesitate recommending them, and hopefully you will get Cruz as the driver so you know youll be in good handsThank you again

Car was dead. we have roadside assistance thru GEICO. waiting time was 1 hour and the tow car came on time. The dispatcher, Tom, was very nice and professional when i called. Matt, tow guy, called ahead of time and figured it out the possible problem. the battery was dead and jump started. After short drive the car stopped again. called the Rapid Response Towing & Recovery directly but was told to make a new claim with GEICO so did. Another one hour waiting time but the tow truck came within 45 mins. very happy with the service.

This company needs to be reported to the better business bureau for their unprofessionalism. I understand tows run late but not to call and give updates or estimated times of arrival can be very inconveniencing for a person whos car is already out of commission. I contacted Geico about my vehicle breaking down and I was waiting for a tow for 3hrs. They then contacted Rapid response and they were there in under an hour. I was so happy to see anyone. But, the tow driver they sent was wonderful. Eric was a great help to me and a pleasure to work with. Thank you Eric for all of your help.

I needed my vehicle to be tow and my insurance dispatched my claim to a towing company called Angelos Auto. 5 hours later no show! My insurance company dispatched my claim to a different tow company called rapid response and I got my vehicle towed safely to my local dealer. The tow truck driver was awesome!

This company is a scam. We asked for a tow at 11:30am it’s now 2:05pm and they’re still not here. We called them and they claimed they called our phone number multiple times which is a lie as we’ve been sitting here waiting. The man that answered the phone then hung up on us saying “you’re wrong goodbye”. By far the worst customer service experience ever.

Should change name to slow response company because that is the adjective to best describe their service. Was told theyd arrive at9:15a but they called @2:00p to see if I still needed service by then another company which I called after rapid came and serviced my car for towing. Such a horrible experience with rapid response.

This company is horrible after waiting for a tow for 3-1/2 hours from my insurance company 07/17/2020 they never came, had to call a different company another hour wait but they came, Please if you need a tow let Rapid Response be the last you call you want be sorry.

MATTHEW CRAFT aka Bo. Matt was awesome!!! After INDEPENDENT ROAD SERVICES was a no show, USAA sent EJW TRUCKING LLC who turned down the job due to lack of equipment, knowledge, & experience. The compressor on my air ride system would not kick on due to manufacture malfunction so my car was laying really low. Matt from RAPID RESPONSE LLC W/ 20 years experience not only showed up 45 minutes early, he said he had a few tricks up his sleeve and he would get me out of here. Matt was very polite, professional and took care of the job with ease. Somebody better give that man a raise. You don’t come across too many good people like Matt nowadays. Thanks Matthew, I know lots of people in Massachusetts with exotic/super cars. I’ll be sure to recommend you. Keep up the great job brother!!! 🙏🏼

I just want to give a big thanks to Rapid Response. I somehow locked my keys and my phone in my car at Dunkins (it was Fri the 13th, go figure). I couldnt get someone to bring my spare key, and was freaking out cuz I had somewhere important to be in 45 min, so I planned on calling the fire dept to come do a lock out and was walking into dunks to use their phone when 2 employees from rapid response came out. Not only did they get my car unlocked, they didnt charge me! They are awesome!

“Rapid” Response accepted my tow, then cancelled it an hour later because they claimed my address was outside their coverage area & my provider (Verizon Roadside Assistance) wouldn’t pay extra for the “deadhead” distance. They also told me this was the 4th time this has happened TODAY!!! (Read the 4th time today they kicked someone while they were down trying to double dip $)They knew the destination address when they accepted my tow in the first place. I PAID EXTRA!!! for the distance to my address already by credit card when I requested the tow.When I asked the Verizon Roadside Assistance rep, she told me that Rapid Response called back after accepting the job to shake them down for more $. When that was refused, they cancelled.Terrible business practice. Plenty of other folks with tow trucks out there...avoid Rapid Response at all costs. Why isn’t zero stars an option?

Changed ETA multiple times but would never tell me. Only got answers when i contacted through Allstate Motor Club. Got stranded at 5 pm was pushed off until 11 pm before i decided to gove up on them. They immediately put you on hold, tell you they cant give you basic information they should know like ETA, and lied to me about why they were late ( i got 3 different stories, 1 trying to blame ME). I was told by the driver that my tow (which was queued for 4 hours) was pushed back to fulfill a request gotten 20 mins ago in a far away town. Do not use. Car breakdowns are stressful enough without using them.

After no show 30 mins after eta, I received nothing but a rude, please hold time after time for over 15 mins. Very unprofessional.

This company’s namesake is certainly undeserved. They were contacted for a tow at 8:15am and still no show at 12:30pm. The worst part was that they kept giving a reasonable estimate for arrival then not showing without reaching out with a time change. The burden for communication should be on the company not the customer. I finally called my insurance and asked them to contact a different company which arrived in under 30 minutes. If Rapid Response had been honest from the beginning about the slow response time I would have asked for the alternative tow sooner. However, I assume they know this and would rather be dishonest than lose the business. If your insurance sends a tow from here, ask for someone else.

After many hassles with the insurance and my car not being towed, rapid response was called and came out quickly. Within half an hour my car was hooked up and at the garage. Thank you!

Absolute trash. Like multiple other reviewers said, dispatched through Geico. Gave a 90 minute ETA. Called after two hours and was told the driver would call me shortly. Okay. 30 minutes later no call. I call again. Am told the driver would call me shortly. I responded that that was I was told last time. I was assured he was nearby in Boston and I was next. 3 hours in, I call Geico, they call Rapid Recovery and tell me itll be 45 minutes. Thats a FOUR HOURS response time after initially saying 90 minutes. I ended up having friends come and push me out. Your company and your service is awful and Geico should drop you.

Listen. Id been waiting for 2.5hrs. I can wait for 10 hrs as long as they give me right eta. Rapid response? They dont even pick up my call and the worst part is that they kept holding me on waiting. It a bad tow company u wait to long I was at hospital in Framingham and the only tow company they had was coming out of Medford it took 3pm to 9pm to that my car to mattapan I keep calling he kept giving me different time he wound be there . I call geico and talk to them about finding a close tow company but they said that the one they use . They should have tow company and all area that wound make better service for your insurance company. Very disappointed with tow company and geico..

They were dispatched through geico, when they missed their time I called, dispatcher was rude and dismissive. Called again 1 1/2 later, was told they’d be here shortly. Called Geico over an hour later, company did not respond to Geico’s call.Completely unprofessional. Never a call for an update, or a reason for the delay.

I gripe when I have an issue requiring a tow truck, knowing that being with Geico, theyre going to contact Rapid response. The past 3 years Ive had 2 instances requiring a tow and weve waited countless hours for a simple tow. The first time we waited 4 hours, from 2 to 6pm and I realised after the fact that they towed us using a regular truck and not a flat bed, our vehicle is clearly an AWD and after speaking to my mechanic, this can cause mechanical issues down the line.Thankfully the first tow was barely a mile away.The second time, a year later, we waited over 4 hours yet again, but Rapid brought a flat bed. Both instances occured around Chelsea, MA and we contacted Rapid and even Geico multiple times while waiting, we kept getting the were on our way answer and I suggest anyone else living in this area to sign up for AAA for additional towing services and keep both, unless you enjoy waiting 4+ hours.The towing industry isnt the easiest job around, but in any industry you have multiple customers complaining about the same issue for years and years on end, clearly you have a management problem and dont care.

Car was dead. Luckily my son had roadside assistance thru GEICO. GEICO gave me an estimate of his arrival time and he called me to confirm he’d be 25 minutes EARLY! Showed up when he said he would. Tried some basic things to get the car working and when that failed he loaded it up and towed it where we needed it. Took great care with the car.

I was told 2 hr wait. I waited 5 hours and then got a call that I would be waiting two more hours. Call another tow company asap because this company will not be reliable. Call AAA instead

I called at 5:30am for a tow. They took over 3 hours to get my vehicle and then KNOWINGLY dropped it off at the wrong location!!!! Shame on Liberty Mutual for even using them as service providers after reading all these negative reviews about them!!

Told at 10:46AM that my car would be picked up within 120 min. It’s 6:07PM and I’m still waiting. It’s companies like this that give the towing industry such a bad reputation.
