My experience with metal Masters was unbelievable and not in a good way. I can’t believe people use this company. The rep came to my house looked at my air conditioning unit outside. And before looking at the rest of my house told me it was gonna cost me $25,000. Which in turn was his estimate. I got four other estimates. Metal masters was 25,000. And the rest of the estimates came in at the 13,500. 12,500. And 11,500.. it’s like he came around the street and noticed we live in a really nice area and increased his price thinking that we had lots of money due to our neighborhood.

As always Pete was on time, communicated well, and did the work efficiently. Scheduling process worked well, solid quality company.

Dalton was very friendly and knowledgeable about our AC unit. He explained everything as he went. He checked the most common issues and when those werent the problem he checked our motor and unfortunately that was the problem. He gave us options and explained what the best motor was. I would recommend Metal Masters and Dalton to work on any HVAC unit. Thank you for your friendly service!

Our new heat pump and air handler replaced our old gas furnace and air conditioning unit. Jonah Sciapiti did a great job inspecting the space (attic!!) and explaining how the new air handler would be installed in a more convenient spot in our attic but the installers didnt get the message. Too bad. It would have been appreciated.We thought Tyson and Nick worked exceptionally well together. The next day Tyson came with Jesse who seemed out of sorts when I asked him a question. He was mostly in a hurry.

Pete has been our service representative for several years and I find him to be honest, professional, and knowledgeable. He always has done a great job for us. Steve is professional, prompt, and courteous. He has quickly returned my calls and directed service to our home in a fast efficient manner.

During the winter of early 2021 the heater in our 110-year-old house died. It had given us 36 years of use even though it should have only lasted about 17 years.The old unit was installed and maintained by Metal Masters, so of course we called them first.Pete arrived immediately (within 2 hrs.) to give us the sad news that parts needed to fix our heater no longer existed. Jonah came out right after that and walked us through our options and answered every question we had. Hes been with Metal Masters for 26 years, and his experience and talent were evident. He even found his signature on the old units maintenance record sticker. Hed checked the old unit 15 years ago.That same meeting Jonah presented us with three options for a replacement heater and new thermostat. As requested he also included an option of upgrading the system to include AC, and then he left.After another night and a day of stoking our fireplace while doing our due diligence, googling our options, comparing prices, checking to see how much the options would increase the value of our home, and reviewing comments of Metal Masters clients and those of its local competitors, we called Jonah back and he again immediately returned.In the end we decided to upgrade our new system to include AC as well.Jonah set us up with financing options that are very reasonable, and it took only minutes to file and be accepted over the phone.Jonah had held the install date for us on the company calendar, so we only had to wait a week for the 2-day install to begin.Dave and Brandon showed up right on time on the day of the install wearing their Covid masks and wasted no time getting to work.Wed prepped areas they were to work ahead of their arrival, protecting the 100-year-old wood floors and painting around the old unit.Dave and Brandon went out of their way to be quick and deliberate, and calling in more folks from the shop to assist as needed.Two new power lines had to be installed and run from my breaker panel to the central heater and the new AC condenser located outside the house.Brandon did the spelunking under my house to install those lines and the copper AC lines to the condenser.By the first day the new unit was in place and all the plumbing and power run to it. They completely cleaned every place they were working in and around the house and left for the night.David showed off his skill the next day, lashing himself to the chimney of our 3-story house and belaying off it to reach and then replace the heater vent pipe, which had to be replaced through the roof and walls down all three stories to bring the system up to code.The installers one-and-all (there were 5 people in all) did their level best to work with me to protect our home while they worked. They caused zero collateral damage and went way above and beyond in fitting a new 2021 heater/HVAC to our home built in 1910.The new system is three times more efficient, one-third smaller than the old unit, and is maybe half as loud while pumping through almost twice the BTUs.Our estimate is that by adding AC to our system we increased the resale of the home by at least the cost of the install which means when when sell this house, it will pay for itself.When we do sell this house, the full warranty Metal Masters offers on this new unit will also be assumable to the new owners.These folks at Metal Masters are pros. Wed recommend them to everyone.

We had Scott from Metal Masters repair our heating controls. Scott is the kind of specialist you want to call for issues with your heating system. He is courteous, professional, knowledgeable, and thorough.

We came back from the coast on a Sunday night. It was 85 degrees in our house. The fan was blowing but the AC unit had stopped. I checked the breaker and it had not been thrown. We called Metal Masters and Rick James diagnosed the problem, replaced a part that had shorted out, and had the whole system up and running within an hour of our call, and all on a Sunday night! Cannot say enough good about Rick and Metal Masters.

We have worked with Metal Masters for many years. They continue to provide excellent service for ongoing maintenance and, most recently, replacing an ailing air conditioner that we had purchase from another company, They replaced our furnace (also a Lennox), several years ago. Again, they did a stellar job. This time, Metal Masters made sure that we had an adequate warranty in place, that the inside coil was replaced and that the old ducting to a side room was removed and any holes were repaired. They left the area inside the house and outside in spotless condition. Their service techs are knowledgeable, well trained and very courteous to their clients. We highly recommend both David Fincher and his assistant, Nick, as well as Bonny who assisted with payment and providing necessary documentation to us.

Metal Masters has done a great job for us. They have been taking care of our HVAC maintenance needs on two residential rentals for a couple years. They have been responsive, conscientious, honest, and thorough. And, last summer they put in a new system in one unit. After an inspection, they gave me a choice, without me even asking, on systems at three different cost levels. After signing the contract, when it came time to install, it didnt fit into the closet. They called me to suggest an alternative location. I said OK. Only months later, when I talked with the tenant, did I find out that it cost them extra to install in the alternate location. They never even mentioned the extra cost to me, rather they just did it as part of the job. Metal Masters has won all my future business.

If I could give no stars, I would. We had them come out to check our hvac. We had a 15 degree difference between front and back of house (1 story) they said it was normal. We finally called a different company, and my husband went into the attic with them upon inspection and found our entire ducting system was smashed and destroyed. We had to replace the whole system which was fine. But we had been battling this temperature issue for over a year so it was frustrating to have waited this long. Metal masters when I spoke to them, could have cared less what was wrong or what had happened. I will never recommend this company and will continue to tell people about our situation.

Excellent, courteous service

I got an AC installation estimate from three professional companies in the area. Jason did a great job explaining our options, and he provided four different options we could go with. Out of the three, Metal Masters pricing was the most competitive, and they did not tack on extra services to the installation to relocate our furnace as one of the others did. The installation was fast and we were very impressed with the professional team. We did a full AC installation, and the unit is very beautiful and quiet, and we had them also add insulation into our attic. We can already feel the difference!

I looked at several HVAC companies in the Rogue Valley and Metal Masters were the most knowledgeable and professional of all. They completed the job ahead of schedule and did an excellent job. Bravo!

Metal Masters recently replaced our heating system. It was not fully worn out but seemed lacking. The service was exceptional and the work crew may be one of the most coordinated Ive seen. During the day, I watched at least half of the installation, and learned that a lot goes into replacing the inside and outside units for AC & heat. They improved duct connections too. After they finished, the air flow was so much better. The difference could be felt and heard. The work and equipment made us feel like it was worth every dime.

The tech arrived on time, he explained that he would also check the filter and replace if needed. I would recommend your service to others.

On time, fast to find the problem and was able to complete all work within one hour. The tech tested the air temp before leaving and was courteous the entire time, even working in 90 degree outside temps.

My experience with Metal Masters has been horrid! We bought a commercial building last winter, and the previous owner had a contract with them. for simplicitys sake, I chose to continue on with them. I learned this summer that the A/C goes out several times in the building. I had Metal Masters come out, and they charged me nearly $300 for replacing the run capacitor and reprogramming the zoning board (which a tech already did earlier in the year..) When the A/C went out the second time, I got feedback from a tenant that he was told it had something to do with a Relay, and that this would keep happening until the relay was fixed. I had never had a conversation with Metal Masters involving fixing a relay, nor had the comment ever been on a bill. I opted to have another company come out and fix the A/C hoping for better and quicker service. I was told that one half of the capacitor was replaced (the fan half, which costs pennies compared to the compressor half), but that the other half had not been touched, so the compressor wouldnt actually run. So, I was charged nearly $300 for a job NOT done, and for a job that should NOT have taken the 3 hours I was billed for. The new company I am working with is so much more professional, it leads me to believe that the Metal Master Scammers would have kept billing me $300 to repeatedly fix my A/C without actually fixing anything. Never going back, wouldnt touch them with a 10-foot pole! If I could give them 0 stars, I would....

We are going on the 3rd year with this new HVAC system that was installed by Metal Masters. Our in-laws parents spent thousands of dollars on a brand new unit and new ducting work.So far we’ve had 5 control sensor units die on us in the 1st year, 3 phone calls to have them finish their job of installing /completing the duct work in the master bedroom, 1 Phone call upon installing to fix the horrible craftsmanship cutting job when putting in the new vents, 2 phone calls because the heat wasn’t coming on, and now this summer alone has been 2 phone calls because the air isn’t blowing cool ... supposedly a tripped breaker ....which again a week later I’m assuming another tripped breaker....again,..and of course I notice when they are closed. I grew up with my dad owning a hvac business and this is so unacceptable!!!Our power bills were supposed to reduce 30% and so far have only increased because it’s not EVER running right. They keep blaming Pacific Power saying their is a surge of power that is causing these problems. I told them I’ve never had this problem before with the previous HVAC system their response was “the newer equipment/computers are so much more touché than in the past equipment that was installed....” I have no idea what to tell Pacific Power, no one has anyone offered to call and help I can just imagine the run around I will get...I realized the air was running all day today and was getting hotter not cooler... right now the outside temperature is cooler the inside. My thermostat is set for 72 however is 79 degrees in my house...so frustrated with this company and this horrible system we wish we never would have taken out the old system.
