My sons car needed a new starter and he commutes to college, therefore we needed the repair done fairly quick. Scott took care of it in a timely manner and a fair price. We were very satisfied with his work.

Scott at Jims is about as honest and hardworking as you could hope your mechanic to be. I have a hard time trusting others to my needed repairs, and try to do most myself. I have no worries asking Scott for more help in the future!

I have to say how refreshing it was to finally get my car repaired after 6 months of getting doinked around in Miami, where I live. Jim’s repair really helped us out and the car was perfect after this repair. He got us in quickly and charged a fair price which seemed ridiculously low compared to Miami prices. It just made me feel so good to not get ripped off, have the car fixed once and for all, and to encounter an honest person. I cannot say enough good about Jim’s repair and honestly God Bless the midwest!

I have been at Jims Auto Repair at Marshfield for tow or three times, and I can tell you that Scott and his team are excellent to their customers. They usually take serious time to review all work done to ensure satisfaction. From the personal view, Scott is a friendly and very polite man with nice personalities.

As someone else said, you must need to be a long time customer to get decent service. Im not very patient, but when Ill pick your car up after lunch, turned into two, three, four oclock, I called another repair shop, because Im already missing another day off work because they obviously didnt need my business.

As an Out-of-towner, I had a problem with my Jeep spitting out Anti-Freeze, I managed to limp my vehicle into the shop, And with No Appointment, Scott came out, Looked at the truck, diagnosed the problem as a loose Serpentine belt, tightened it and didnt charge me a cent! Fast, HONEST, Friendly and I will ALWAYS go to them for anything in the future if Im in the area! Scott, God Bless! Youre a life saver!!!

Has had my vehicle dead battery sitting in his parking lot for a couple weeks thats going to first ruin the battery and or he disconnected the fuses so I cant take my vehicle to another mechanic because now it wont start at all also my battery was just purchased and its freezing cold both sitting dead and the cold will ruin that battery nice to know Ill need another new battery when I get it back that another 100$ down the drain plus the outrageous charge to just find out whats wrong my other mechanic was called I described the problem he J we right away what was wrong said cheap and you cant even find a part for itsoill have to find a junkyard parti said shitcoolbut how do I get my car to the new mechanic when he disabled my van

I wish I could give it negative stars. where to begin? apparently you have to have been going to jims for a long time in order to get treated with respect and common courtesy.i believe we called Jims auto on a thursday or friday, told him the problem with our vehicle and he was nice enough to come out to our apartment (about 2 miles away) and assess whether or not the car could be driven to the shop or not. someone, i dont know if was jim or not, came by and determined that it would need to be towed. we were told that someone would be by to pick it up sometime over the weekend or perhaps monday since they wouldnt be able to start working on the car til later in the week. we were given an estimated time of completion between the following thursday and saturday.fast forward to tuesday and the car still hasnt been picked up. i believe my fiancee was in correspondence with the people at Jims and we were told everyday that the car would be picked up. never happened. on tuesday we were told that personal tow truck had broken down the night before which is why it wasnt picked up this time. ok. sure. i guess theyre pretty busy over there since they were unable to come get in thursday through monday. we were told they were working on getting the car picked up.flash forward to thursday morning, 7 days from the initial contact(could have possibly been longer, im just making it easier from a story telling standpoint) i was told that i should probably take the car somewhere else. so i proceed to do that. i shouldnt have tried to drive it the 4 blocks to the alternative auto shop but for reasons ill explain shortly i made a bad choice.about 2 blocks from my house the wheel fell off. i called jims auto to request his help in getting my car out of the road. i was told that he would get back to me. i havent heard from him since.my daughters birthday is tomorrow. i could have done anything besides sit here and wait on some douche bag that wasnt a decent enough human being to admit that he had too much work and i should go somewhere else from the beginning. but i put my faith in another man, another human, a supposedly reputable business, to fix my problem. instead of being honest with me so i could get my car fixed and give my baby girl an awesome birthday, this guy strung me along for whatever reason and turned whats supposed to be a fun time into no fun at all. i could just take a taxi to the grocery store but i already have to do that 4x a day between my fiancee and I, and now have to do it for an additional week.so if you like being misled, lied to, and literally left in the middle of the road waiting for Jim to call you back, then this is the place for you.
