Mandy was extremely responsive and helpful. She was honest about how long it would take them to get out to the house for a quote, but they got there sooner than she promised. We did not use them, but Mandy was very professional and very responsive!

The storyline wasnt a happy one at the beginning. The 1st painter/dry wall professional wasnt very good. I was prepared to fire ServPro, when Carl, the construction supervisor persuaded me to reconsider. Im happy I did. The new crew came yesterday, evaluated the job, came here today and completed the tasks of painting and drywall work very satisfactorily.

Jacob and Keith were very professional and answered all my questions. They worked quickly and found where the water was coming from in the ceiling. They were able to save my kitchen cabinets which is huge!. They cleaned up and took away all the wet drywall. It is so nice to have someone bring calm to the chaos at the end of the day.

We had a leak in our laundry room. It poured down into our basement. They didn’t bother to rip up my floors are properly place fans. So our contractor needed to rip up the sub floor and replace it. They broke my garage door and took 3 weeks for them to come out to fix it. They didn’t run the hose to the dehumidifier out the garage which resulted in the flooding of my basement. I have been back and forth waiting on what to do for 2 weeks at the point to where I needed to get this flooring replaced. My husband currently sleeps in the basement because he’s a night nurse and doesn’t want to bring coronavirus home to us. The carpet smelled and was stained. I couldn’t find a color to match the carpet. Carpet that was somewhere close was $3.50 to $4. I found wood plank for $2.49. I had to replace the whole 1400 square foot basement because there wasn’t a match for the green carpet. I just asked to have the cost covered for what was damaged. They finally got back to me a whole month later, claiming they can only pay for less than half of what they damaged. They say they could have found a replacement carpenter at first and when I said there wasn’t a match, they claim they could have cleaned and stretched the carpet. It smelled awful and was disgusting after just 24 hours. No way that would have worked, let alone if they tried to do it now if I let it set for a month. The lack of communication and customer service is absolutely unacceptable. Do not let these people into your homes.

The Servpro representative, Sean Walsh, was both knowledgeable and professional. He carefully surveyed the basement, made some good observations and made cost-effective recommendations on how to resolve the problem. As it turned out, I did not have any mold issues in my basement based on his evaluation, but he did suggest some other minor things to fix to help prevent the odor from reoccurring.

6-16-2020Sean Walsh was the technician who came to my home. He was friendly, professional, but most of all honest. I was concerned that I may have mold in my Laundry room due to a leaking pipe in my wall. We had the Sheetrock cut out and the leak repaired. The wood looked black and the walls were damp inside. Sean tested for mold and assured me that I did not have mold. My walls needed to be dried out before I put my washer and dryer back in. I am thankful that I called this company. He showed up every day, made sure we understood the process, stayed late, and basically treated us like family. A water pipe under my house rusted resulting in a flood in my crawlspace that was approximately 12 inches deep under my entire house. I contacted SERVPRO of east Cobb. They came quickly and explained my options for the water removal. Within hours a pump was placed in the crawlspace. They followed up daily on the water removal progress and eventually placed dehumidifiers and fans in the crawlspace. I was so impressed with all of the employees I came in contact with during the water removal. They were professional and courteous and kept me informed with what was being done as well as the progress being made. I would highly recommend SERVPRO of East Cobb for any water extraction issue. They will ensure your flooded area is properly and completely restored.

Carl performed the removal of the affected flooring and ceiling area and installed the dehumidifiers and mold filtering fans and came back to take back the dehumidifiers and fans after mold testing and remediation was completed.

I used Servpro for water mitigation and rebuild from a recent flood. Dax was my main point of contact and out of ALL of the people I dealt with for my flood and repairs (insurance, HOA, mitigation, repairs), Dax was by far the easiest and best to deal with. I found him to be very responsive, helpful, straightforward, friendly and just an overall great person to deal with.
