On 2-17-18 I went on a full day fishing trip with Captain Tom and he provided a great day of fishing. We started around some debris about 10 miles out and I caught a 20 pound mahi-mahi. Not much was going on other than that so we went out about another 15 miles to the hump that was alive with black fin tuna.Shorts were on the top - we got a dozen keepers of 2-3 pounds, but Tom wanted some big ones which were on the bottom at 500 feet. He hooked 2 for us on the drifts, which were very fast, about 60 seconds to hook the fish. One was 25 pounds and the other was 20 pounds. In all I wound up with 30 lbs. of fillets that the Islamorada Fish Co. flash froze and shipped to Massachusetts.What a great day

Booked and paid deposit, only to come down and check in to see it no longer exists. Owner of Marina said this has been going on a few weeks now. Do not set up a charter with Run and Gun charter.

Tom was an great captain. He went the extra mile making sure we had a excellent trip. Most charters only care about the time and money. Tom made sure we had the best experience. We will defiantly use Tom again!

Had an awesome time with captain Tom. I have caught yellowtail snapper many many times. He said we would catch big ones. I figured yeah sure. He wasnt joking. I couldnt believe how big these were. Could hardly stop them. He is my new Keys captain.

We had a great day with Captain Tom. Fishing was not easy but Tom kept moving till we found a spot where the fish bit like crazy. We ended up with 28 snapper and 2 grouper. Plus all the fish we threw back. He works hard and doesnt give up. I would recommend him to anyone. Doesnt talk a whole lot but I could tell he was thinking hard about catching us fish. He was much more talkative when we started filling the fish box.

Let me start by saying that I am a Charter Captain and yes, we caught fish. But I cant say that it was enjoyable.... If you want a guy to run you out, throw a couple of lines over, catch some fish and come back, then this may be the boat for you.... But if you want to have fun and have human interaction with the Captain, I suggest you look elsewhere.... This guy really acted like it was a hassle to take a fun group of folks out to fish and get paid, very disappointed.

Had a great time fishing with Run and Gun. On arrival in Florida we got hit with windy weather that kept us out of the action and made for slow fishing when we did get on the water. That said, Captain Tom kept in touch along the way and once we got out on the water made every effort to get us bites and was successful doing so. If you need someone who knows the area and will work to get you in the action, Id recommend, and would book again.

We used Run & Gun last year & he got us on MAHI (20+ fish) offshore & BLACKFIN TUNA & SKIPJACKS (7+ FISH) on the hump. Will be using him this year again.
