Captain Brent and First Mate Josh were very professional and found the fish! We are so glad we booked with them. Great communication for booking trip. Both worked tirelessly to give us the best chances to fish. Easy to meet them at dock and head on out offshore. Caught lots of mahi-mahi. Packed it in ice and checked it as baggage for our flight home. Great day fishing! 🎣 🐠

After spending days trying to take my daughter fishing with little luck, I reached out to Coral fishing with only two days left on my trip. The captain said he would get us fish and thats exactly what he did. Now my daughter and I will have an unforgettable memory together, thanks to coral charters, that was worth every penny.

We had such an awesome time with Josh and Captain Brent. They were both great at explaining what we needed to do, and helping as needed. They kept us laughing the whole time. We really had a blast! Cant wait to go back.

We booked a full day fishing charter as a group of 5 and unfortunately the expectations just were not met. I was disappointed with only having 1 pole in the water at a time on a boat full or fishing poles rigged up ready to go. I have no issues with the Brent or Josh. We were able to chum and bring fish up from the bottom but unfortunately were not able to really fish as a group or even try much to fish for anything except for small Snapper. The biggest disappointment was as a paying customer the fishing trip we talked about over the phone and what we experienced were not the same nor did it come close. I would just like to add for future reference, if customers would like to try and fish for more exciting fish and change things up during the day, this should at least be considered and given a proper effort. Unfortunately, we will not be recommending this experience to anyone or paying for another trip.

Pros: caught some fish, got a tan, cool guysCons: awful overall fishing experience, used cheap equipment, no bathroom, too $$ for what you getWhen we booked this charter we asked a ton of questions and set clear expectations as far as what we were going for in a fishing experience- somewhere along the way that changed without us being informed. It was also never disclosed ahead of time there was no restroom and that the women in our group would have to pee in a bucket or on the boat on deck.First, if you have a group larger than 2 people you all wont be fishing at once. The day started out with good vibes. They had a bunch of bait fish ready which was great, except we never used any of it so it mustve been for a different trip. We were allowed to use the cheapest equipment on board while the nice reels stayed racked all day. We chummed for yellowtail snapper with chum and oatmeal for awhile and caught around 25 fish, which was great, but when we booked we were clear we wanted to go for bigger game fish. These were 20inch yellowtail. Captain Brent and the deckhand, Josh, wanted to stay and keep catching smaller stuff. Only 1 person could have their line in the water at a time because he said it would spook those specific fish- which ok, fine. We then trolled around for awhile before arriving at the reef. However, when we transitioned to the reef spot where all the other charters were that strategy never changed and our group of 5 still were not all fishing at once even though all the charters around us had 5-10 people fishing at one time.They talked down about some of the surrounding charters even though they were SMOKING us. A charter with multiple boats, Two Conchs Charter (who they refer to as Two C*nts) had their entire 8-10 person group who all had poles in the water pulling fish left and right. We pulled in 1 baby amberjack on the only live fish-bait that was used the entire day. The rest of the time we used live crabs with no luck and they only had a few of them so the deckhand wanted to be the one fishing with it since we only got 1 shot.Overall, we liked hearing captain Brents stories and talking to the guys, but we didnt want to pay $1,000 plus 20% tip for good conversation-we wanted to fish for bigger game, which didnt happen. We didnt feel there was a real effort to go for bigger game whatsoever- it was more about them than it was our experience. Waste of $$, in my opinion. If all you care about is getting on the water and chilling with some cool dudes go for it, but if youre into a fishing-focused experience Id pass.

Highly recommend Coral Charters. We went two days in a row and the Captain worked hard to get us on the fish. First Mate had an amazing playlist and did an outstanding job keeping us geared up and landing fish. We caught some big fish and saw a lot of action. One day was definitely better than the other from an action perspective but that’s fishing. We had a blast and really enjoyed fishing with these guys.

As life long residents of Florida my husband and family have been vacationing and fishing in the keys for over 40 years. We usually bring our own boat down and enjoy offshore fishing, snorkeling, diving, and lobstering.With our children now grown and living away, we have downsized boats, which it makes it more difficult to go far offshore fishing. So this past June, I googled “best fishing charter marathon“ and my first hit was “Coral Charters”, so we booked an 8 hour day.Captain Brent & Josh were great guys. Josh was non-stop rigging & working lines, bird and bait watching and yelling at you to grab the rod as the line ripped! They were happy to share their knowledge and talk about their years on the water. This is really hard work for these men & day after day can be very tiresome, but the best part of the trip is seeing how much they enjoyed what they do.. putting their clients on fish!! We had an absolute blast with Captain Brent and Josh! We had two adults and four kids. All four kids loved it and caught tons of fish. We had so much fish that we had to fly back home with a cooler full of snapper! Both Josh and Brent were great with our kids and taught them how to fish. This was the highlight or our Keys trip!

Had an amazing time on the boat with capt. Brent and his mate josh. We slayed stud snapper and we were the only boat catching out there.

We went out with Capt. Brent on 07/21/2019 and in my opinion the trip should have been canceled based on weather. My wife and mother in law were both sick within an hour due to 5-7 seas and the rest of the trip which should have been 6 hours. In the 3 hours we were on the water we managed to catch one undersized dolphin. Needless to say we ended back at the dock by 12:00 and still paid the 3/4 day price. 1000.00 dollars for one throwback dolphin, and half the group sick from the weather, definitely not worth it.

We booked an 8hr deep sea fishing trip with Capt Brent on 8/218. We were unable to make the trip due to weather conditions. Capt Brent kept open communication with us the entire time and was nice enough to refund our security deposit. I will be booking another trip soon! Will recommend Coral Charters to anyone! Amazing day on the water! We were on large fish all day including cobia and sharks, had action from the minute we set anchor till the end of the day!

Went offshore with Capt. Brent today. All I can say about him is that he knows how to fish! Within 10 minutes of making it to the fishing grounds he had us hooked up on our first of many blackfin and skipjack tuna. After an hour or so we were tired of reeling them in and decided to go to the reefs for the snapper bite. Capt. Brent did it again and got us on the fish within minutes. The cooler is filled and the wife & kids are already talking about another trip with Coral Charters.***Update. We talked to several people at the hotel who had used other charters (some well known). Each complained about their lack of catch. Apparently the fishing was slow this week for other captains. Definitely not the case with Capt. Brent and Josh!

Capt. Brent knows what he is doing. Which was a good thing, since I know nothing about fishing and I wanted to show my teen age boys a good time. The day started with a great boat ride out to the reef. The fishing was fantastic. Capt. Brent showed us how to do everything we need to do to feel like experts. My kids caught bigger fish than they ever caught before and we laughed a lot and had a lot of fun. The boys had the best time and cant wait to go out on a Coral Charters adventure again. Going out fishing with Capt. Brent was the highlight of my boys vacation. I cant recommend him more highly.

We had 5 total people in our party and ALL us limited out on dolphin in no time. Captain Brent was fun, knowledgeable and enjoyable. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to catch fish and have a great overall experience.

Captain Brent is everything you could want in a private charter - professional, punctual, enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and fun.The boat is clean and well-equipped.We did a full-day trip with some trolling for mahi and some wreck fishing. We got some nice mahi for the cooler and 2 very nice mutton snappers along with some other species.Captain cleaned the fish for us and was a pleasure to fish with all day long. My family and I came to the Keys for a weeks vacation to do some fishing and decided to charter a trip with Capt. Brent to get things started. He came highly recommended from a friend of ours, and he sure earned his reputation with us! We set out early and spent the day on the water which was a little rougher than expected because of the wind. The ride was pretty smooth though and once we started catching fish, nothing else mattered. We caught a bunch of snapper, including mutton and lane snapper, plus a Jack Crevelle, some bonita and some small dolphin. The day turned out great, the wind calmed down, and we had plenty food for dinner to boot! Passing on high recommendations!
