First Class Nails have always been a reliable business for outstanding service. I have been going to this place for years and recently, also their sister store La Belle. I always recommend and personally book my appointments ahead of time, but they do accommodate walk-ins. Great for spontaneous self pampering! They manage time and customers well.Despite being a regular customer, the staff remains professional and accommodating! I highly recommend this salon to anyone in the area looking to receive quality and exceptional service!

This place was OK. I messed up one of my nails after i left, but Ill live. I liked the service, it was very fast and they were kind enough to move my appointment for 1 hour earlier since i was close by. You have to be careful with the polishes you choose, some of them seem to be old and are even dusty (not sure if because of the nail powder or because they havent been used in a while).Editing this review because the nail polish was definitely not good, it took FOREVER to dry and even after going to sleep at night (my appointment was at 10AM) when i woke up the sheets pattern was all over my nails (which happens when the nail polish is bad, or you put too many layers on it). I dont think Ill be coming back here

Note: business prefers cash, and only accepts cash for tips. There’s a citizens and BOA nearby. You have to wear a mask.It was my first visit, and I waited 5 days to post to see how my nails held up. I had a mani/pedi and I was so happy with how they turned out and how they haven’t chipped at all (I’m rough on my hands).They are VERY clean. I saw them open up new packages of nail instruments for each person. Everyone MUST wear a mask and staff keep them on at all times. They are using liners for the pedicure tubs and wiping down the massage chairs in between uses.They did a great job shaping my nails and even fixed a nail I messed up while I was there.TL, DR: It’s hard finding a place that’s clean and does good quality work. and I’m really pleased. :) This is my new go-to spot!

The technician cut my finger and told me DON’T WORRY and then used a wipe to remove my blood!! Not even a sorry to me. They don’t understand English, so we had bad communication! Overall, I was very unsatisfied with their service. Definitely will not come back anymore! Dont waste your money and time

The nail techs are very sweet but did a terrible job. my toe smudged even after the lady told me it was all set. and when i got dip powder one of my nails began to turn green in the corner. lastly the nails were below average compared to other places i’ve gone for the same price. overall not sanitary and no amazing service.

I have gotten my nails done for over 20 years. I started off with acrylic, then gel then dip. With covid last year, I ended up taking my nails off with the shutdown of nail salons, and have been getting gel manicures since last year.I needed to get my nails done today. I have a baby, and don’t get a ton of self care time. I was looking forward to a relaxing appointment. My nail place wasn’t available, so I decided to try First Class because of all the rave reviews. Well one and done for me. The girl doing my nails seemed to perhaps work really closely to the owners. I sat down and she immediately told me I have short nails. She wrapped my nails in aluminum and proceeded again to tell me how short my nails were. Then taking the aluminum off she told me how short my nails were. She must have said it 6 or 7 times, and I finally said please stop talking about how short my nails are and told her I was going to leave. She told me to stay. I then noticed the sign that said that the credit card machine is down and cash only. They do not have an ATM inside the salon. I asked where the nearest one was, and they said CVS. When I told them I needed to get money, they asked me to leave my ID. They should have told me (and anyone making appointment) that they do not accept credit cards. Extremely disappointed, and would definitely not recommend.

Lovely and professional staffs and the environment is also clean. Try the design but comes out so so. Fix by myself. Will go back for pedicure definitely and the basic manicure!

I needed a Sunday appointment and they were open. I got Ivy, and she did a wonderful job! She took her time and did my acrylic fill and gel polish art design exactly as the photo I brought in with me. Left extremely happy! Will be returning to see Ivy.

I have been to this nail salon a hand full of times. My very first time here I was extremely disappointed however, on short notice I decided to give them a try. Today I walk in and I instantly felt a bit apprehensive because my nail tech was not there and I never have any luck with any other one. Desperate for a refill, I proceed to sign in anyway. When I sit in the chair to start getting my nails shaped, the nail tech passively makes a comment about how she’s never done my nail shape before. After this is said I’m under the impression that she’s gonna take on the challenge, but that is not the case. She proceeds to give me a VERY uneven shape that I did not ask for. After she finished giving me the shape of her choice she asks another nail tech to come paint my nails. I am very confused at this point. So I speak up and tell her that this is not what I asked for. Her response was “which shape did you want?” To that my response was “the one I came in here with”. She then replies “I told you I did not know how to do that shape”. My biggest issue here is, why would she not tell me first hand that she could not execute the nail shape?? Instead, she attempted to give me whatever shape she wanted and look at me confused when I would not allow that. I consequently had to leave with my nails unpainted. This is very misleading business!! I discourage you from working with Britney.

First time here. Took me right away as a walk in. Very clean and following covid protocols. More importantly, probably the best pedicure I’ve ever had. As a man Ive had nail salons typically move through my service very quickly. My hands/feet aren’t rough so they just do a quick job. I was there for an hour between the pedicure and manicure...meaning she took her time and was detailed about her work. Definitely going back and highly recommend.

They dont care about your time, they make you wait and attend to other people first. REALLY BAD SERVICE.

Have been going Lily and her team for many years! They are professional, sweet, and hard workers. Go to use for everything from waxing to mani and pedi and always take their time and do great work.

Lilly did such a nice job! My nails were a mess, she reshaped them and made them less thick and bulky. I’m really happy!

HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!! Extremely unprofessional. I called ahead of time to ask if they provide the service I wanted and they confirmed they did. They lied, so I had to leave and go fto a different salon. Also the pedicure massage chair was broken and the owner was yelling when I asked to change my chair. Extremely unprofessional, rude, and a complete waste of time. Worst nail experience ever. Please save your money and time. Go across the street to tip top salon they did amazing

I came in with a horrible acrylic job from the previous nail salon I went to in revere. They were very honest and listened to all my questions. I showed the girls pictures of what I wanted for the colors and designs. They did way better than what I expected and/or any services I’ve ever gotten for my nails before. I would highly recommend them 100% everyday‼️‼️‼️

3 employees, only 1 person working and tryingto rush every client to help the next. My hands never touched water, the cuticles were not touched so the dead skin could be removed. The dip powder was thick and bubbled. I never will go back, I had to save up dollars to get myNails done and expected leaving with healthy looking and feeling hands.

I use to love this nail salon before I moved to Florida was a year ago every other week I would go see lily. well I was in town a little longer than expected and needed my nails done so decided to come back lily wasn’t there so another did my nails I got dip. It was the worst experience I have ever had here. My nails where chipping after day 2 I could also feel the back lifting. I’m so unhappy because like I said I really loved this salon.After speaking to Lillys husband and him fixing my nails everything is so much better!!!!

I came back here yesterday after finding this place last summer while living in Melrose. I’m an Irish student and this is my second summer working in Boston. I get my nails done back home with a very trusted nail tech who lives near me all the time and this is the only place I would go to over here to get them done. Myself and my friend travelled from Fenway to Malden to have Lily do our nails, and to no surprise we were not disappointed. She remembered me from last summer and all of the staff are very welcoming and friendly.

Over priced, and my friends nails came out bubbly.

Its been a while since My one visit to this nail salon but they experience was painful and really aggravating. I got a acrylic set and had told the nail tack that I was very sensitive to the Filing machines, but he dug deep into my nails anyway. My nails ended up looking decent definitely better than OK But the experience was so painful and the nail Tech was so Careless with how much he was hurting me that I will never go back to this place again

The last time I got my nails done was for prom when I was 17. Im 25 now and got my nails done by Britney. She was fantastic and has a really good head on her shoulders. I got the dip powder done and it turned out beautiful. I also got a lovely pedicure that reminded just how stressed out I am. It was great! Overall I had a lovely time. Im so new to all this and everyone was so nice and helpful.

Only place Ill go to get my nails done...been a loyal customer for over 18 years!! Even now living in Central Ma, its still worth it for me to travel there!! They are THE BEST!!

Such a great experience! I’ve been to so many salons around the Malden area and nothing compares to First Class. I’m very picky when it comes to the shape I want and Britney and Lily do an excellent job. They’re very welcoming and always try to engage with you. Not many places are able to do designs and/or help with ideas on what to do, but Britney’s your girl if you want cool design ideas.

Today was my first time going here and I’m so happy I did! I got a pedicure and May did an amazing job, it was truly one of the best pedicures I’ve ever had. She really took her time, I didn’t feel rushed and it was overall a great experience. The price was very reasonable as well. Will definitely be back and recommend to others!

Love this place! Every time I go in everyone is friendly. Today I got the dip powder manicure and Britney did such a great job. She explained each step and how it was healthier for my nails. This is now my number one spot to go to!

Ive had several bad experiences in having my nails done. The mmanager, an older guy, left cuts on my fingers and told me not to be such a baby when he put the nail polish remover on. Besides that Ive also had cases where hes done my nails and left them looking like they were 2 week old nails. They were so far from my cuticles. There was the most recent time where he had the acrylic nails looking extremely thick and the acrylic dried onto the pads of my finger. So when they grew out the skin on my fingers were being pulled as well. Horrible experiences with this guy. Ive had help by other women there that were extremely better experiences.

I was a previous customer of this salon. On March 25, 2018 at approximately 2:10 pm I was having my nails filled in this salon. The owner was the staff member servicing me. She was very rushed as the salon was very busy. She sat me down in an unclean area and had me soak my nails in a bowl. She was not very nice and showed to be impatient. I should have left at that point but did not as her husband had done my nails in the past and had done a good job. After my nails were finished, I paid and tipped her for her services. WITHOUT asking for permission she picked up my cell phone and it dropped on the floor- the phone screen was severely damaged. She would not be held accountable for her actions and told me to call the police. The owner and staff had zero empathy regarding the situation and zero customer service skills. This is not a good way to practice business.All of this can be proven as this business has cameras.

I got my toes and hands done. my toes are amazing and they look very nice. my hands however, are not good. the colors are pretty but the person doing my nails was very rough and they caused me to bleed on almost all my fingers. the person moved my hands to the fans roughly and was really mean to me. he also talked to everyone else in the nail shop except for me. i don’t know if he had something against me or if he just didn’t want to talk to anyone (which i doubt is true bc he talked to everyone else that came in) . but overall, this experience was very bad. it was my first time too. sad.

I went here today to have 3 nails fixed. When the man doing my nails found out that was all I wanted he seemed annoyed. He rushed and the nails he fixed are crooked and lumpy. I also had acrylic stuck on my fingers and cuticles. Before the service was completed he got up and walked away without saying anything. A woman came over and told me how much it would be. I tried to pay with a debit card but I was told I’d be charged an extra $2. Being a business owner myself this policy is absolutely ridiculous. Customers should not be penalized for the method they chose to pay with. Overall I WAS UNSATISFIED AND WILL NOT BE GOING BACK OR RECCOMENDING THIS PLACE TO ANYONE. I was disappointed based on the reviews. I also get the feeling they give different people different levels of customer service.

I have not had a decent pedicure in so long, so when I moved to the area, I was determined to find the best salon. The reviews seemed promising so I went, skeptically. May took care of me, and when I say that, I mean it. I had a slight in-grown toe nail that didnt hurt but made me nervous, and she took proactive measures to fix it and now it looks pretty much normal! I hope it grows out okay.... Also, May had an incredible touch with the way she really scrubbed my feet and gave such a wonderful massage--something that has been lacking in my previous pedicures from other places. I work 12+ hours a day and wanted to treat myself and get a good pedi and man did I have an amazing one! Like mentioned before, there is a $2 fee for debit cards, so I paid cash. My pedi was $25

I randomly came into this salon one day when my previous salon was closed and loved the quality of their work! I’ve been loyal ever since! The staff are friendly and very accommodating!

I went to this place once to do my nails and I absolutely loved the way they carefully did my nails. Since then it becomes my fav nails salon spot. And last time I put gel in my fingernails, it didnt really last, but when I went last Sunday Britney did my nails and assure me that they will last the whole month. Very very bad experience at this salon. Nail polish was painted horribly. They had to take it off two times before it even looked semi decent because of how bad of a job they did the first two times. Do not recommend this place at all I will never be going back.

I have been here before and britney did my nails amazing but this recent time she was not. Now I know the good reviews are only because of her. I went and had an appointment during the soak off which was 30 minutes of my skin burning and I told them mind you Im going through my 4th chemotherapy treatment I also told them . I did the dip powder I asked for them to be strong and the way he did it, I know how it should be done and the process because Ive been doing my dip for over a year now he did not do used wrong product and also at the end I had asked if I can pay with my card he said yes. Most people considerate ones would say yes but there is a 2 dollar fee but he didnt until he brought the receipt for me to sign and after I gave the tip. At which he did not deserve . I was not happy he didnt do what I asked and also hurt meHe was squeezing my fingers I had asked him not to do because of my chemo meds my bones hurt . After not even a week my nails were peeling as if he used gel on top . Its is dip not gel . Worst I have ever experienced I deserve to have them done again but rather not suffer and go back I will do it elsewhere.

Tonight was my first visit here and I couldnt be happier. The staff was friendly, engaging and knowledgeable. They have a neat workspaces and a clean salon. Their nail polish/gel/dip powder collection is HUGE!Now onto my nails. They looked terrible when I went in from another salon, lifting, chipping, and awfully shaped. Now they look PERFECT. The shape is amazing, even, and natural and the gel looks aahhhmazinggg. I am thrilled to have found an amazing nail salon. Thank you Z and Brittany.

Had a dip manicure and a few of my nails are rough and bumpy, and on one of my nails the side edges have NO polish. Very disappointed.

The whole process felt rushed. They had one woman doing my pedicure and as that lady was doing my feet another was women doing my manicure at the same time. The one that was doing my manicure was running back and forth between me and another client. Soon after my feet where done the woman that was doing my hands didn’t finish with me and told me to sit at a table where another person finished my manicure. My nails were not finished properly. My hand nails were not coated enough and you can see that I needed to another coat or two. I do not recommend this place.

Honestly I truly love this place!!! Britney is the best and Lily and Jen are amazing!! I think everybody here is great and they always do my nails perfectly. I like to get gel which last up to 3 weeks and I wash my hands about a thousand times a day literally. I work in the medical field and I am non-stop with my hands. Even without gel they do such a good job that they last and Im glad I came across this place because its the only place that I will ever go to now and I highly highly recommend it!! Im a full-time mom and work full-time so is my lil treat to myself!!! Thanks ladies, forever grateful Jen :-)
